Is your waifu a bird?
Will this finally be the year?
What makes a great sports anime?
I finished Koukau no Pandora today /a/. I liked it a lot. But one thing is bothering me, i can't find the OST anywhere. Please tell me one of you have it, i need it so bad.
Someone uploaded it on mega a couple months back, but I can't remember the link. Stick around and hopefully one of the other pandorafags will provide it for you.
Hopefully anon. I'm only asking because i seriously can't find it anywhere.
I'm a big fan of Stone Ocean, or Part 6 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and I wanted to ask ya'll who really enjoy Part 6 somethin'
What chapters of Stone Ocean do you think would translate best into anime form or you would like to see most? My personal pick is "The Collector, Marilyn Manson"
KISAMA ARE YOU HUMAN OR KABANE?
There's nothing wrong with a fat chested loli.
Do you not understand the concept of vicarious entertainment?
Why would people want to insert as someone similar to them? It's much more appealing to vicariously living the life of a super intelligent, tactical genius with a vengeance against a comically evil empire.
that was great!
Bird a best
Mobage finally started doing some interesting unusual combos.
After many constant Rias x Akeno (not that I'm complaining), refreshing change.
I'm an anime casual. I had no intentions watching NGE, so I readily read all of the spoiler stuff about it. Then, a few weeks ago, reading some more stuff on the series sufficiently piqued my interest to go watch all 26 episodes, the movie and the rebuild movies. (My short review: it's the anime version of LOST, with lots of philosophically, religious and psychological references and ideas added because the creators felt it sounded cool and exotic, but they had an insufficient knowledge and screen time to make it all coherent in end, or indeed to make the plot end satisfactorily complete and coherent. The NGE action sequences are good and the characters are reasonable deep for this kind of story (except for one, of course), but the package feel too short to feel complete or to say it reaches some kind of greatness).
One things that struck me is how thin the character of Rei is. She has so personality beyond being shy and quiet, and she has no character arc beyond what the main plot demands. The only character development she gets is that she's a clone, then the current version dies, replaced with a clone which then kickstarts the Orange Tang Apocalypse that may or may not have been eventually averted. Compare that to the arcs of the other characters, which, when stripped of their sci-fi trappings, are at least somewhat relatable.
Yet she's everywhere in that fandom, with tons of art (both official and fan-made), figurines and other trickets to buy. There are lots of fanfiction and comics with her that you can please yourself with if you have a day or two, a private place and full balls needing expelling. All over a fucking non-character.
I don't get it. I really don't. Please explain it to me, /a/.
Between Re:Zero and NGE, which has the more pertinent message?
>2 decades old
Hmm, I wonder.
What does /a/ think of black star?
Is there a cannon 'after story'?
Is Chinatsu the villain of YuruYuri?
Can someone tell me why the Steins Gate movie is so disliked? I just rewatched for today and I felt like it was a lot better than I remembered it being.
Because the writers decided to break the series' rules of time travel, and the story suffers immensely because of it. If they actually cared about the series and spent more than 5 minutes brainstorming, it could have been good, but instead we got something that breaks canon just to provide some fanservice.
Another annoying 3x3 thread, post yours
Are these threads allowed? I loved them on /r9k/ but they started getting deleted,
>Anon quit reading WEH!
>NO, I'M ENJOYING MY ANGER
That time again
First male continues to be based as fuck.
Was she best girl?
Objectively, according to /a/. Yes, yes she is.
Is she the most waifubait character of all time?
I know I'm like thirty years late, but I want to get into the DB/DBZ series, which anime would be the best place to start with?
Next time you wake up you find yourself
in his body at the start of stardust.
What do with your new found power and sweet sweet immortality?
Kubo wants to start a new manga but he doesn't want to write it because he realized drawing is the only thing he's good at.
You have 10 seconds to hook Kubo up with a writer.
I nominate Kazuma Kamachi.
This is getting good.
Was the dragon Edna's brother, or was it the drake from Mariland? Was it Uno who became Uroboros the serpent, but is a dragon now for the anime?
Do you expect them to go through the mansion in Mariland and find the picture of Velvet's brother?
Did Zaveid fuck Lailah?
Also why is Sorey so concerned about Mikleo in the anime? In the games he already trusts Mikleo to the point where he doesn't chase after him when they split up.
Nevermind. I really should watch the whole episode before I jump to conclusions.
what the fuck was this guy's plan for getting lilith?
what would he do if adam wasn't on a boat?
Could be incompletely formed, like Sandalphon, and jumping the gun to snap at what's in front of it. Angels started getting experimental around this point, too, maybe the idea was to eventually make Nerv come find it.
>Anime about gangs
>None of the characters involved in drug crime or drive bys
>No one has done time in prison
why so unrealistic
It's rare to see anime tackle drugs in ways that aren't
>Drugs = Super powers.
>Drugs = Complete paralysis
>Drugs = Something that looks like an emergency allergy shot inducing a complete acid trip within seconds complete with full visual and auditory hallucinations.
That said I think there are mentions of drugs in Durarara but it doesn't play that big of a role in what's going on.
Please tell me there will be more.
I feel so fucking empty.
Whatevs, Shirobako thread.
Heh, I didn't knew about this one. Is it in any way attached to Shirobako?
I'll give it a try, I'm a sucker for this kind of setup, but I've also seen many anime and manga talking about art and production in a terrible way, Shirobako was really good at that.
It's more about cute girls doing cute things at workplace than Shirobako, with a little of fanservice thrown in. Both have a similar thematic nonetheless, even if Shirobako is more in-depth.
