>>115232430 Ahead how? 8man hasn't acknowledged any romantic feelings for yukino (if has any at all) and certainly hasn't acted on them in any way while he'll at least give yui the time of the day with the promised date with her that he himself bought up.
>>115233830 8man has already been saying Yukino is attractive since day 1. He has yet to acknowledge that he is romantically attracted to her. Fact is, no one is ahead until 8man realizes he likes someone in the romantic sense and acts on his feelings.
I read the 7th and 8th novels just recently, and I'm about 2/3 of the 9th. I wanted to read the 6,5 and 7,5 too, but both seemed unfinished so I didn't even start reading those. Well, I have to say that even after /a/ recommended me to read those novels because "I would change my opinion about the people around 8man, especially Yui and Yukino", I've got to say the opposite actually happened. Now I'm even more convinced that all the people around Hachiman, except for Zaibrokuza, are absolutely shitty trash, the only other exception being the new entry Iroha, which is a little prickly, but that's nothing more than teasing. Hell, even Orimoto is a better person than the rest of them, because, even if she's still trash anyway, she got the excuse that she's not close to him. All the others can't use that excuse. I felt really bad for 8man after reading, I actually had to take a couple breaks to calm down, the latest being at the point I'm right now. I can't see how he could cope with all of this, my only explanation is that he felt/still feels really lonely, because a standard person would've surely bailed out from all of this shit. Shit that some of them actually put him through, just to bitch on him/bad mouth him after. That's ridiculous.
>>115237148 Debatable how? He consults with no one and does things on his own that no one asked him for (with the exception being Hayato's, even then, another solution that doesn't hurt him would've been acceptable for them as well).
>>115236776 >Hey Rambo! We got a new mission for you, son! Your favourite! A dangerous and sensitive one! Oh, but you can always ignore it... Just kidding! You can't! >Oh well okay, what is it? >You have to do impossible shit with no clues or chances whatsoever, no ammo and weapons also! But don't worry, you got reliable allies! Except, nope! No allies! Only scolding and blame after you succeed in your mission! Because you did the wrong way! Yes! The same mission WE sent you to do, that same mission WE were totally unable to do! Christ, it's been like that since that shit with the loli in volume... 4? Or was it 5?
>>115237384 6 - Saving Sagami's reputation? She didn't ask that of him. Yukino didn't either. 7 - Tobe/Iroha I elaborated on already and you haven't presented a counter argument for. 8 - He goes full selfishness on, using imouto as his "reason" and crushing Yukino's ambition. You're the one who needs to read again.
>>115237848 Good thing I'm not exactly a Yuifag, then. >>115237849 It wasn't a counterargument. Do you argue with islamic extremists? No you don't, because they're extremists. So why should I argue with you?
>>115237664 If he ignores the request, the blame won't fall on him, it'll be Yukino. No one expects things from him (though it is revealed later that Yukino thought he was almost always right). The only client that fully knows what 8man is capable of doing and expects him to act as self-destructively as always is Hayato.
>but you can always ignore it... Just kidding! You can't! Where does this happen? 8man owes no one nothing and no one coerces him into doing his shit.
>You have to do impossible shit with no clues or chances whatsoever, no ammo and weapons also! You're ignoring the information gathering and crap that the service club always does before they do anything.
>But don't worry, you got reliable allies! Except, nope! No allies! You're ignoring how he never asks for anyone else's help. He never tried to sought another method either. A stark contrast with the election arc where he finally does involve other people.
>Because you did the wrong way! Yes! The same mission WE sent you to do, that same mission WE were totally unable to do! In the view of others, they aren't important enough as to inflict that kind of damage on himself.
>>115237992 >It wasn't a counterargument. Do you argue with islamic extremists? No you don't, because they're extremists. So why should I argue with you? Yeah, you're wrong and you know it. Thanks for playing.
>>115238319 Ok, I'll bite and say again: watch episode 12 again and read the last chapter of volume 7 again, regarding volume 8, I've already said you got that right, except that bit about Yukino's ambition, we still got no proofs it was like that. But it's okay, I'm sure your Yukinogoggles will make you read my post in a completely different way.
>>115238571 How about you directly address my posts and prove me wrong with counter arguments instead of deferring me to the shit i've already read. Spamming "go read it again" won't make the non-existent points you're trying to bring up magically appear.
And for the record, i'm not a shipper. I want a friendship end.
>>115238231 >Where does this happen? 8man owes no one nothing and no one coerces him into doing his shit. hummm, sensei? >You're ignoring the information gathering and crap that the service club always does before they do anything. i concede on that. >You're ignoring how he never asks for anyone else's help. He never tried to sought another method either. A stark contrast with the election arc where he finally does involve other people. he did it with the loli, he was on an alone mission on novel 6, and had little time to resolve everything without hurting anybody in 7 >In the view of others, they aren't important enough as to inflict that kind of damage on himself. not what they said after the loli mission, and he didn't really damaged himself (or anybody else, for what it matter) in novel 7. let's face it, he's a Rambo without even a Trautman on his side. also, sensei isn't Alfred, Alfred wanted Batman to stop, sensei wanted him to start doing that. saving people.
>>115239004 >hummm, sensei? Citation needed. Quote where sensei says he can't back out for the cases where his solution was to make himself go through mud for the sake of other people. Sensei didn't force him to help with the school festival(sagami), field trip(tobe), election(yukino/yui/iroha/komachi) or christmas event(iroha)
>he did it with the loli, he was on an alone mission on novel 6, and had little time to resolve everything without hurting anybody in 7 Yeah, i wasn't arguing about the loli but everything else afterwards.
>not what they said after the loli mission Citation needed.
>and he didn't really damaged himself (or anybody else, for what it matter) in novel 7. He did with the false confession. He was depressed because of that crap and Komachi knew it. During that time, he also betrayed a common understanding between him and Yukino too and that's where the rift in the service club was formed.
>>115239590 I still don't get you. I've replied you many times already, and I think I've wasted enough time on someone who's most likely pulling my leg with "you've lost the argument" replies. Believe whatever you want, I'm done for real with you now. And for your information, yes, you're a Yukinofag, just re-read your post here >>115237693
>>115240017 Yeah, you lose by default for refusing to even bring a lick of a counter argument.
>And for your information, yes, you're a Yukinofag 8man wished to preserve the service club. Yukino wanted to become student council president. Yui joined in too. 8man thought they were sacrificing themselves for a request. He seeks a reason to want to stop them and preserve the service club, Komachi responds by saying she wants the service club to remain. Taking this as his reason(excuse), he seeks the help of Zaimokuza and company and convinces Iroha to take the position of student council president thereby making Yukino and Yui's sacrifices moot. But, Yukino doesn't appreciate what 8man did for her therefore the conjecture that she perhaps wanted the position of president is valid. How does this reek of shipperfaggotry at all? Take your own advice and read volume 8 again.
>>115236508 Go take a hike, you won't find allies here. If you're not new to /a/, you should already know we only care about the girls and not the MCs of these kind of shows. There's also the usual retards who are here only for the waifu wars. Get the hell out of here 'till you have time, for your own good. /a/ never changes, never will.
>>115243645 Not him, but, when? I have only watched the anime too, and from what I remember they don't even talk to each other when she accepted Sagami's request because of the whole car incident thing.
>>115246386 >"U-Umu... D-Don't tell others about this alright? You absolutely have to keep this a secret you know?"
>Hiratsuka sensei spoke hesitantly and it made her looked like a younger girl, to which my heart starting beating faster. Looking at her embarrassed countenance, the words "Shizukawaii" started forming in my mind
>>115246419 This. Between their lies/deceptions/betrayals both Yui and Yuki showed themselves unworthy of the 8man, it's time for a better to girl to shine. Well, Saika can just go being a joke character in another series, anyway.
