All hail season 3!

>More cute girls doing cute things
Tsunderefags literally getting blown the fuck out.
Thank you, Japan. Now if only this meant Kamachi could get a grip of this and understand that people already got tired of the generic tsundere piece of shit that he's been shoehorning in nearly every novel for the past few years, and so he would remove her from the novels altogether, that would be great.
Hopefully now Kamachi will take the opportunity to kill off Mikoto and good to see that Japan finally got good taste and hates Mikoto now.
-That Misaka stalked and attacked pre-amnesia Touma constantly just because he can block her shitty powers.
-Reminder that Misaka never thanked Touma properly after helping her save her sisters and her sorry suicidal ass
-That Misaka forced Touma to date her while being obnoxious with her shitty hobby
-That Misaka delayed an injured Touma from going to help the Amakusas because she wanted to confirm to herself her own retarded feelings
-That Misaka forced Touma to bring her ass to Hawaii, giving him unnecessary burden
-That Misaka, despite not being his girlfriend and haven't even confessed to him yet, bought rings for the both of them that makes sure that Touma won't cheat
-That Misaka attacked a grievously injured Touma after seeing him with Cendrillon without asking questions because her shit logic believes that "he can take it".
-That Misaka, without even asking questions, again, tried to drag Touma by his belt from a rooftop, nearly getting him killed.
-That Misaka refused to translate Cendrillon's words to Touma because she got jelly, denying Touma a justified thanks from her
-That Misaka shocked an already injured Touma, again, while he was in a midst of an existential crisis while talking about things she knows nothing about
MISAKA A SHIT
Typical faggots hating on best girl.
So do you know that
her lower half will get blown by Meltdowner Mugino, and she will be thrown out like a trash by her?
Watch out for Misaka Mikoto

Butthurt Frendafag detected. That scene doesn't even come close to what happens in NT4.
She gets replaced with an even smaller girl. Then another girl is turned into a loli because Mugino didn't cook her properly. Then they feed the leftovers to another girl to turn HER into a loli.
>Fraulein is now a loli
>Kakine was a loli for a bit
>Fremea has a huge part in the plot for no reason
>Loli Kihara one of the major POV characters in Baggage city
>Cendrillion turns into a loli
>Loli Kihara one of the major POV characters in Baggage city
Enshuu isn't really a loli, though.
Official girl ranking for Touma:
Othinus >= Oriana > Kanzaki > Itsuwa > Orsola > Index > 10032 > Himegami > Fukiyose > Birdway > Lessar = Mikoto = Younger Misaki
Othinus > Will-tan > Orsola > Itsuwa > Misaki > Fukiyose > Index = Birdway > 10032 > Himegami > Kanzaki > Lessar = Mikoto
Closeness and bonding:
Othinus >= Index > Will-tan > *
I don't even care anymore, it's been too long and there's just too material to cover already.
I like how as much as this is a troll chart it actually has grains of truth sprinkled through it to be easy to mistake as legit and bait people into replying. One of the better sections of the pastas the rest are too try hard
If only this was true
That would've meant JC Shit isn't the one animating HO
/a/, do you still remember when Dengeki posted that video advertising the crossover between Indekkusu and Heavy Object, and they even showed Othinus?
Oh, we had so many dreams.
Fuck you Miki. I hate you so fucking much, you shitty faggot.
Don't worry, sooner or later it'll happen.
Literally the only reason to keep reading Railgun is for that faint hope Uiharu and Saten will kiss.
No, no there's definitely a lot more wrong with it than just Mikoto's low placement, Orsola for example is far too high and Himegami is too low, but I'm not going to go over why each of them is wrong, we both know it's a troll chart even if only one of us admits it, I was just saying it's neat to see the odd thing in there that makes sense as opposed to it being entirely shit stirring like the other ones, don't read into it too much.
>one day some anon tells to go to /u/
>tumblr, 3dpd, fanfics, pokemon
Where does the anime stop and the LN pick up anyway?
I haven't read the LN yet but I figured I might as well start and I want to know how many volumes I read before I'm going to get to something new.
Touma still has just about no problems interacting with her and even occasionally goes out of his way to at least say hi or something, so she's faring better than most of those girls
Anime ends on SS1, which is between 13 and 14.
If you want to pick up where the anime left off, I'd say read the epilogue to 13 for foreshadowing reasons, and SS1 since it was butchered. Then continue on as normal
I don't know about that, I read the books after the anime and I really don't remember there being all that much new shit until SS1, 1-13 the only thing I can recall being cut out was Aurelous dummy and that one murderer guy from Angel Fall, neither of which are huge losses
>wanting to watch plotless sol shit instead of battle royale and english civil war
Because you are helpless.
Even if WORST is only few years/months old, she has the body developed of a female near Accel's age (or even older).
She have to win the Accel bowl.
Or at least Vento, Mugino, Saiai.
I wouldn't even mind SoL filler if Nagai could come up with something for them to do besides eating and shopping.
He has an entire city full of insane sci-fi tech to work with, yet he never takes advantage of it except for one holodeck episode. And that barely counts because they just used it for a fucking picnic.
Can someone explain why Index S3 hasn't been made yet? I mean, the anime has to finish up the rest of the TMnI LN, and then, it needs to start covering New Testament. There is plenty of material, so what's the hold up?
Did the series not do well anime-wise or something?
Just make Kamachi write it.
When they asked for a movie he gave them enough for a 2 cour anime, I doubt he would be opposed to writing some fun SOL. The parody volumes and the little we get in the novels proves he's way better at it, and it's not like he does anything besides write anyway
>What is Kizumonogatari?
But that one at least is actually being made.
>What is Haruhi S3?
I am completely speaking out of my ass here, but didn't Endless Eight wreck the sales of the second season?
I actually didn't even know it was coming out, but I remembered to preorder AW and I saw Index listed. I'm tempted to get it but with js06.exe it'll just become a collector's item.
On the bright side, the TLs for the first view volumes are absolutely horrendous so it's probably worth it to read them in coherent English.
Someone received their copy early and posted a comparison of the translation of the first couple of pages of volume 1 yesterday, you can probably find it if you search for raildex thread in the archive. It reads really very well in my opinion, and they kept biribiri as biribiri too.
They're doing one every three months, that's about the same speed as Kamachi.exe writes them. It can't be helped that they're starting so far behind him, unless you want them to do omnibus collections of three or four books at a time for three or four times the price.
I'd rather they didn't rush the translations myself, we already have the speed translations, it's not like anyone's waiting for Yen Press to come out before they start Index so I want the books that are going to sit on my shelf and get pulled out on rainy days have better translations than the books already sitting on my laptop.
>there are people who wouldn't like it if Railgun got another season
yeah, more happens in Index, but at least it's something animated.
Going by the copyrights page, they actually have two translators on Index, twice the number they have on their other books. That should help with the workload.
Haruhi vol 1-4 - Chris Pai
Haruhi vol 5-11 - Paul Starr
S&W - Paul Starr
SAO - Stephen Paul
AW - Jocelyne Allen
Index - Andrew Prowse and Yoshito Hinton
Could be this Chris Pai?
Is he Strato? I remember people pointing out that their release of volume 1 read a lot like Strato's.
That would be this guy.
A Canadian it would seem.
A JLPT N2 apparently
Probably this Yoshito Hinton.
Nice comeback there. it took you 20 minutes to think that?
that's not true, all of these Mikotos are good.
I'm going to come clean. I saw this gif when I had no idea what Index or Railgun was.
I decided to watch it under the impression that I would see copies of the same girl murdered in various ways over the course of the series.
I was disappointed when there was no helicopter decapitation.
You get filler either way. Railgun has been almost perfectly adapted to anime, to the point where the manga almost feels inferior. But JC Staff will guarantee a second cour of filler, which it easily ignored.
I'm taking N2 in 3 weeks, it's an upper-intermediate level.
You can definitely read Index with it (with dictionary lookups from time to time) but I was under the impression that professional translation required much more than that.
Okay, or maybe he is just an editor or something.
>but I was under the impression that professional translation required much more than that.
This. Translation requires not only thorough comprehension of meaning and nuance in the source language, but also ability as a writer in the target language.
I pre-ordered it day 1, but I'm a cheapskate when it comes to shipping so I don't have it yet. Probably tomorrow. Interestingly enough, FUNi finally released season 1 on blu-ray this week as well. Only 30 dollars.
>railgun s3 before index
hahaha i knew this was gonna happen. no one wants to watch that autism fest, faggot. at least railgun has cute girl doing cute things appeal. moral-fags are for losers.
>Saten and Hanakan vs Proto-Gremlin
>timeskip to post-NT10
>mini-Othinus gets bored
>beats up some skillouts and forces them to dress like vikings
>they run around committing minor crimes and end up stealing Saten's jeans
>final fight is Othinus on a pitching machine vs Saten in a batting cage
>plays out like Othinus vs Touma with baseballs instead of crossbow bolts
I like how this artist got the canon pairings right.
Cruel deceptions aside, I think what they're trying to do is space things out so that there will always be a Railgun in-between every Index.
So it's Index > Railgun > Index II > Railgun S > Index III > Railgun (3) > etc > etc
If they go too fast, they'll eventually run out of Railgun and they want to avoid that scenario.
Of course, they'll eventually run out of Railgun. That's inevitable. But they're probably trying to prolong things as much as possible.
Accelerator has no concept of romantic love and Last Order's basically his daughter so that's never gonna happen. I don't know what series you've been looking at, but it's abundantly clear based on character interactions and Kamachi's Afterwords that this pairing is never gonna happen.
Touma's gonna die a virgin, saving the world with his purity.
>You could work in the SOL shit in the middle of most of it easily anyway
Why the fuck would anyone want that?
Besides, I'm pretty sure that Daihaisei is as long as Level Upper and the Sisters arc combined. There's no real wiggle room for bullshit there, especially since LAC (and arguably Jihanki) are essential pre-requisits for the story.
>I'm pretty sure that Daihaisei is as long as Level Upper and the Sisters arc combined
Sisters arc is 21 chapters long. Standard montly manga page number for most chapters.
Daihaiseisai is 26 chapters long, and most of the chapters have no more than 25 pages.
