ITT: Post mangas that, if adapted into animes, could save the industry.
let's slide to the positive side bro.
Not mangas but it could save the industry, easy.
It would save the mecha industry, full of pretty boys as protagonists, Getter Robo is one of the (if not the most) manliest mecha series ever created, hell, even the creator of Gurren Lagann said it was his main inspiration.
Say goodbye to the excellent art, because that would be the first to go due to the TV budgets. And OPM's art is the major reason to read the manga. The story is just average.
As for Vagabond, the anime couldn't measure up. The art is just too good.
A OPM anime would have to be crazy beautiful to not be disappointing after Murata's version. I feel like Mob Psycho might work better. They could have super-simplistic animation for most of it, and dump all the budget into making the action sequences amazing.
But Historie, Vinland Saga, Gunka no Baltzar, and A Bride's Story
Fuck yeah. But Disney never will release something violent like this with someone linked to classic characters. They hate Donald and his family, anyway.
it would be aw-aw-aw-aw-awesome
Also a madhouse Toriko remake.
Holy shit yes, if they nail the art style and keep it true to the story they might succeed in introducing the badass that is Scrooge McDuck. To bad Disney royally fucked over Don Rosa that he would never ever want to be tied to it.
Ducktalrs was outsourced to Japan.
In terms of story, it seems something beyond cute girls doing cute things, but who would adapt it?
Like with One Punch Man, the art it's too good an anime adaptation might not give it any justice if the studio meets certain requirements.
Gantz from the Shinjuku massacre to the end of Osaka would be godtier if done correctly.
Thought going a bit off-topic, I'm one of those who think it will get OVA's or a last season when it's definitely over or near over.
Right now Studio Pierrot it's too inversted on sucking Naruto's dick.
Yeah, the most expensive and goriest on the anime industry so far. Never gonna happen. It could never be on TV since the censorship would not approves.
Imagine: "Prepare for the return of the best fights in shonen!, "The rise of Getsuga Tenshou!". "Bleach, returns next winter for the final Battle!"
The only difference between shounen and seinen is usually explicit sex and heavy violence. since Bleach have people sliced in half, explicit nudity and viscera, then.
the anime would probably be less visually dynamic than that godlike manga because they wouldn't put in the resources.
basically it's got the aspects of a story that make it good for animation. A lot of the characters, enemies, fights are all things that would work well when animated.
The story is a good one that isn't too long and has a conclusive ending, as well as being pretty well paced.
Basically it's got a lot of heart and it's made with love and you can tell that reading it,
Only Kurosawa can save this industry
This is already saving the industry. It's time to look to the future.
Yeah but budgets are meant to be broken if revenue from them exceeds normal limits
A vagabond anime with Inoue assisting will be one of the best anime ever made.
I say they should break the bank with it.
