A lot of anons have dropped, but whatever, I'll finish it for the Chaika.
Does frederika actually gets to kill someone on the manga? Because every since she's trying to get on the torudick and ranted about killing, she either gets stunned, somewhat almost killed, or she just doesn't appear until the very end.
I still look forward to every episode for some reason.
I guess the girls are just too amazing in this.
How would anyone know? Most of the viewerbase watch the series for memes and other inane bullshit.
Obviously, anon. But it was obvious from the first episodes of the first season that the plot is just a D&D-esque vehicle meant to drive the cast along. I don't see how anyone could get to Season 2 having missed this.
So as planned the real black chaika wastes the other two. Hmm so they are following the light novel plot just a condensed version of it. Now let's see if they'll keep that weird shot of Niva looking like she's about to blow Gaz.
>so they are following the light novel plot just a condensed version of it
A very very very condensed version of it: they kept the main characters names.
Aye, but the events were more or less the same results. This here is just ridiculously stupid and over the top for no reason. They did it with Soul eater it's prequel, noragami and now chaika.
I thought the twins would have more impact not just be some side bitches behind the guy who killed the Chaika lord.
You're too little.
The series did lose some of the charm it had in the first season.
>Fredrika's loli form
I think I speak for everyone when I say Dominka's Onee-sama form >>> Loli Fredrika form.
I think the charm is still there because it does have its moments, but the writing isn't nearly as tight.
What I liked about the first season is that the setting of a post-war peace-time fantasy world played into every character motivation and situation. Now it's more about the conspiracy and it feels rushed.
Also Toru won't fucking contract.
>LN was ending at the same time as the Anime
>Bones still Bones the ending
>The series did lose some of the charm it had in the first season.
The appeal is just not the same, and Dominica's ass is overshadowed by Akari.
Because they're rushing it? Not even Volume 11 has been released yet. When they said it would be ending it the same time, they meant release the BD on the same time span as the last volume and epilogue being released.
I don't why anyone had faith in these guys.
One job, bones. ONE JOB!
Quit with this newfaggy "if you're not a literal toddler in age and body type, you're not a loli" bullshit.
Loli can refer to being a child, having a childlike or pubescent appearance, or even just having a babyface. There has a bevvy of connotations associated with the word since its introduction to Area 11 as a loanword.
If you ever lose your grip on the limitations of the word, just ask a normalfag. Go tell your parents you're attracted to Frederica and show them this image. Have fun convincing them you're not a pedophile.
If this doesn't happen I at least want to hear Chaika say "mwee" one last time.
All freddy is best freddy. Why argue about it?
Because liking one convicts you of being a pedophile, liking another convicts you of liking dragon dicks, and liking the third convicts you of being a man of fine and resplendent taste.
why do you ask questions where the answer is obvious.
Skoda is a good girl/car/dragoon.
>[HorribleSubs] Hitsugi no Chaika - Avenging Battle - 09 [720p].mkv
Red looking hot as fuck
Some new fuel for you fellow memebros.
The pleasure of eating your father.
S1 butchered the material but made it watchable, S2 butchers the material in so many ways its simply egregious.
This episode was full of shocking truths.
>Definitely Shocking Truth! in the preview
If Chaika doesn't say kansha, oui, or mwee in the finale....
Why did Toru and Co. didn't attack Gaz when he was flaunting his giant magic cock around?
It doesn't look like he has a lot of maneuverability or can spam spells, even with only 1 word as incantation.
What the hell is happening?
Confirmed as best Chaika.
S2 was fast paced as hell, must be that.
On top of that, he admitted that he's afraid of death now.
Could Gaz use his fear as magic fuel?
Can someone make Black Chaika a nigger?
>Implying I made them
Bones patent ending
Gaz really made his waifu.
I can't help but feel a little sad about Chaika befriending her and she just kinda walks off like she was nothing.
I may be watching too many "cute girls doing cute things" shows.
Toru contracts with Fred to defeat Gaz.
Calling it now.
>Toru being cum
>Gaz break Toru ass
>Niva betray Gaz because the blood pact she made on the lab island and now she share Chaika feelings for Toru
>Chaika blowing Gaz in shocking thruth status and the space fortress fleet with Niva
Because unlike Lord British, they coded his defenses properly.
>BBEG who keikaku doori'd out of nowhere just before the ending, revealed that heroes were nothing but mere tools of his revival, has powerlevel several tiers higher than anyone else and wants to do nasty shit with entire world because of some weird ideology
>against a party of heroes with seemingly no chances of winning whatsoever
It's like I'm playing D&D again.
>tfw not reading novels and enjoyed the ep
I can't be the only one who had the same faces as the cast all throughout the episode
This was my face through the entire second half.
>mfw this whole ep
I'd like to say I expected more of Bones, but I really didn't.
Goddamn falling rocks, my eternal nemesis.
I'm sure they belong to the some secret organization, together with uncatchable thieves, spontaneously opening portals to the lowest circles of hell and surprise dragons.
>Gaz is now alive
>contract to give him a proper funeral is still standing
>do something DM doesn't like
>suddenly in a situation where you need a saving throw
>"Roll to save."
Not sure if daughteru or waifu material. She gives me a bit mixed feeling.
>unlike everyones expectations, Emperor Gaz will win without a scratch
>everyone else dies
>only tooru and frederika survive
>episode ends with Gaz going to war and tooru and frederika forming the contract
>third season announced
>it's about the world 100 years later, still being in an endless war
>tooru is now ageless, still fighting against Gaz
>he couldn't understand the Pyrite market
>Gaz let himself be killed just so he could get +5 M.ATK
She could've been at least named after an actual Škoda car.
I honestly thought it was cool as fuck.
Gaz is the best girl 10/10 would let him consume my memories and fulfill my wishes for eternity
Well this episode was certainly something, I didn't expect Guy to be so useful.
Too bad the next episode is the last, A couple of battles would have been great but rushing the end and Gaz dying again, meh.
I found it really enjoyable since I live in slavland and the car brands mentioned in the show are/were common here.
I would love for gaz to wreck everyones shit.
Probably won't happen, as season 3 seems unlikely, but then again I never expected season 2.
What if .. guys .. what if .. guys, listen!
What if anime is bad route with bad ending. The episode will end with everyone dying and Gaz starting new war, more powerful than ever?
And LN is the good route with true ending.
I live in a shithole called Slovakia.
and I still want that goddamned contract.
>Guy being Gaz
I was under the impression that Guy was a creation of Gaz sort of like chaika. Gaz just used his body or 'essence' or whatever in order to help create his new body.
>admitting to live in a shitty country that is Czechoslovakia
Anon pls, learn 2 history.
Next your going to tell me that USSR is gone.
Try harder next time.
>Toru's big brother figure
>Other Gillette Squad Member
8 heroes, they re-enact Gaz's first death. Except instead of beheading Chaika this time Toru takes her hand and kisses her.
And then she dies and Akari makes him her slave for the rest of their lives
All the fucking flashbacks had me expecting him to be an over-the-top madman.
If Toru still needs to give Gaz a funeral, why would he let Chaika go if that was his order?
Ending where Chaika marries Toru's mentor canon, he never let go.
If its worth anything, in the LN Gaz was more chill, was trying to kill God because it wanted endless war to feed from humanity's feelings or something like that, and Guy was God's proxy.
So basically they took God's role in the LN and gave it to Gaz.
I did sorta expect him to go all "AFTER 10,000 YEARS I'M FREE!" on us, but I'm kinda pleased with the result nonetheless. Sure he's edgy, but he's a villain he can't exactly be sunshine and rainbows.
So he was crazy just in the means justifies the horrors way instead of edgelord supreme. Doesn't white chaika go catatonic in the light novel as well and Gaz offers some shit to Gillette and Toru to coarse them out of defeating him or even fighting him and they basically give him the finger? I remember reading spoilers like that once on here.
I read the spoilers so don't trust everything I say.
If I remember correctly, he promised to split the world (1/3 for each one of them) with Gillete and Toru since he wanted them as his generals or something like that.
Frederika is such a nice person.
Toru should really contract with her already, as a reward for being so considerate.
Contract already you fucking bitch, you're not cut out to be a saboteur anyway.
That sounds like a pretty awesome deal.
Ruling the world with Gaz would be chill as fuck.
As long as toru gets to keep white chaika as his wench.
That's why I don't like anime Gaz.
If I didn't know about the LN I would think he is a cool villain and love him, but knowing that we missed Chill Emperor just to get Edgelord Jesus dissapoints me.
From what he told Toru & co, he really wasn't a bad guy. He built his empire through fairly normal means.
The spoiler about him wanting to restart the war and split the world between Gilette and Tory was from the description of volume 11.
Interestingly enough I know nothing about the LN and I got those sort of vibes when I watched season 1 all in one night so I think some of that feeling is still preserved in the adaptation. I really want to read the LN now though.
I don't get why they are opposing Gaz.
He is right, everyone wants a fucking war in this series. The only ones who are against a new war are that one general that got introduced two episodes ago and the betamax noble from the Kleimann Group.
Even fucking Gillete, who is working to prevent war, deeply wishes for a new war.
She's only half chaika, get on my level.
Did you miss the part where he was going to use war to harvest people's emotions and use them as magic fuel?
This is some Matrix shit, except instead of a computer simulation he's just trapping people in pointless conflict while he uses them as batteries
It's not like he is going to kill everyone.
He is going to cause an endless war and that's it.
Toru should be having the boner of his life over the simple thought of a world where sabouteurs will always be needed.
Because Gaz is a dick about it, and really, the theme of the show (and I'm guessing the book) is about getting over the war thing and finding your new role in the peace time world.
