ITT: Terrible anime that you loved when you were a teenager.
that's pretty cool. Never finished all of that. I still enjoy pic related
I've tried to make the whole scene into 3MB but I can't, this is a bit longer
We can do better than that.
Also, I only saw Sailor Moon in the past year. I still loved it. Cheesy and silly as all hell, but that's the charm of it.
Seriously don't know why I loved it that much. If it wasn't for the ending I would have probably already forgotten it.
If nothing else, this show taught me just how horrifying 4Kids dubbing was, and how much better subbed could be.
The sad part is that I can still read and enjoy it. I love the premise and characters of the book, but holy shit did it fall apart after Seven died. The MC also needed to grow some balls much earlier in the story, around after Deus begins losing his powers. Now, would I call the manga outright bad? No. But goddamn this was a disappointment.
Darkstalkers was pretty good, considering the source material was a fighting game with no story (even for a fighting game)
Sound was awesome, visuals were outstanding even for nowdays standards and direction was good. Its only sin is that first Ova was too good. The rest was pretty bland when it comes to story, but then again you couldn't ask much more with that should material.
I wish lots of action anime nowdays were half good as this was.
here's a short list.
>Hellsing Ultimate + Original Anime
>I genuinely liked Pokemon for the first 120 episodes or so
>Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, etc. If it's about spheres that summon dragons it's garbage and I've seen it.
>hayao miyazaki movies
>Judas (I don't know if this ever became an anime but the manga was garbage so I'd be surprised)
There are dozens more. I'd have to get in touch with my old anime club buddies to remember.
It's been so long I can't remember if it was that bad or not.
Full Metal Alchemist
because it's just terrible
They were so cool.
Libra's was sexy as fuck. Saggitarius a shit, go be main character's bonus armor somewehere else.
Last arc of SDF Macross. I thought it was so smart with how it portrayed cultural assimilation, but on a rewatch it turned out to be a boring mess. The show should have ended in episode 27.
I know it's not an unpopular song, but it still weirds me out a bit that I had just started hearing that song in my head when I clicked on that image. I mean, I don't think there could have possibly been anything more random on that fucking paper.
It really didn't age well.
Character design is still top notch though, but the pacing is too fucking retarded.
