Iroha is going to win the 8bowl and there's nothing you can do about that
She won't win in the books but she'll get a pregnant end in the Vita game.
>a few years into the future
>Iroha is pregnant
>she already gave birth to 5 kids and this is her 6th
>still teasing Hachiman that they're only halfway towards a soccer team
I was wondering the same, now I think It's fixed
It's a matter of priority. While the anime doesn't adapt everything and misses some really good scenes, it still gets the overall plot across and doesn't fuck with the characters, so while there are untranslated new volumes they're a higher priority.
Orimoto is a good person. She doesn't act with malice towards 8man at any point. Not the rejection, not the double date, those were due to misunderstandings about 8man and what he's feeling. I've been in that situation being used conveniently as a conversation piece and joked about, it's almost never as malicious as it seems. Sometimes it's just about speaking up, and then you get to realize that it's just the other party not really thinking and defaulting to an easy topic, when they really meant no harm. Some of the nicest most genuine people I know have defaulted to behaviour patterns similar to Orimoto's, and it's just due to misunderstandings and default societal norms. Orimoto's a good person at heart, a "nice girl". I think a lot of /a/'s hatred of Orimoto is biased, 8man doesn't even hate her that much.
Isn't going for Iroha just going for the socially acceptable imouto route?
I mean, the things he likes about Iroha are the things she has in common with Komachi. Going after her is basically admitting he'd go after his sister if she wasn't his sister.
You're seeing Orimoto from a one sided point of view, through the eyes of someone who's only had bad experiences with her, and yet 8man himself is still just indifferent to Orimoto. She went ahead and took the initiative to buy him a drink and apologize for being a bitch, that's a lot more than most people would do. The fact that she recognizes her mistake hurt someone already makes her ok in my book.
She definitely doesn't. I will defend Orimoto to the fucking end, even though she's not even my favourite girl, hell she's not even my second favourite. I guess I can't stand people misinterpreting obvious writing.
See >>118005049, especially the fact that she recognizes her fault. She didn't realize she was hurting 8man at the time, so she apologized. No one who doesn't care about the people around them would go and apologize by herself, she had literally nothing to gain from it.
Every girl is a good girl in Yahari and hikigaya even called her similar to elder sister
also >>Basically, you might not think it, but loners are major philanthropists. Not loving anything means you love everything equally. Crap, it’s only a matter of time before they start calling me Mother Hikigaya.
>>The first thing I did after I sat down at my seat was zone out.
I had complete confidence in the fact I was wasting my time.
What a pointless skill…
That is kinda how I see it as well.
but really Yukinon x 8man would be awkward as fuck and Yui x 8man doesn't work cause Yui is too hung up on being popular. Any random bitch beside these 2 would work out better, even that delinquent bro-con girl.
If it get licensed I will be pissed.
They take forever and tend to suck for the amount of time spent on them.
There is a lot of shitty FanTL but OfficialTL isn't always better. Yen Press can do some halfassed job sometimes and take ages do them.
It wouldn't it would reinforce the reality of the world.
It kind of unrealistic that the ending has to be that he gets on well with everyone or gets a girl in the end. It should be an ending where he develops feelings strongly and thinks that he shouldn't pursue them because it will come to nothing and he will get betrayed - so ignoring those feelings he gets "betrayed" and seeing the one he loves taken by someone else and made happier than he has ever seen them happy - would be an interesting end.
His own ideals betraying him, if he confessed him might have got somewhere but he didn't and he lost the chance.
He'll just become a single salaryman working long late hours and coming to empty flat with his sister occasionally visiting him with her boyfriend waiting outside the flat on his bike.
It would. It would make several volumes worth of conflict and character development meaningless.
>because it will come to nothing and he will get betrayed
Half the point of the series is Hikki growing past his cynicism and realizing life and people aren't as shitty as he makes them out to be. That's retarded.
Yen Press will be finished with Spice and Wolf by the end of next year so they'll be looking for new projects to license. Yahari could be one of them for all we know and BT would take down everything pretty quickly. Anyone have backups just in case?
why are thigh highs not popular in 3d fashion
>Caring about 3dpd fashion
Where do you think you are?
They release 3 a year. August will be Volume 15 and December will be Volume 16. Only thing left is epilogue but they'd likely have secured rights to another series sometime next year anyway.
I want to fit in too.
just read volume 3 an what you all feel about THE TRUTH
Yukinoshita answer in Volume 6 is quite tactical and logical but somehow it leave some kind of uneasiness
>>As I let out a deep and heavy sigh, I looked around the window of the now deserted classroom. Yukinoshita had been standing there just a while ago.
>>It wasn’t even two metres between where Yukinoshita had been and the seats Yuigahama and I had been sitting on. Yet for some reason, it was hard to cross that looming distance, and I could sense an unseen line drawn there.
>>It would not be long before the two of us discovered what exactly stood between us – or rather, you could say, the truth.
With this much subtext, its almost like I'm reading a mystery novel
opening ending = friendship ending = kind of Status Quo ending and Hikigaya and Yukinoshita hate this kind of relation and now even Yui can't accept it.
Shizuka Sensei has already told to hikigaya that your hurt your loved ones and so someone will get hurt and there we can hope for a better Happy Ending
either there will be No Couple or there will be something like Koe no Katachi Ending
They're a bunch of highschool students. It's not like Yukinoshita will reveal that she was actually a recruiter for some international league of villains.
Chances are Yukinoshita believes that her ambitions will carry her much farther than them and so she is trying to not get attached to pleb life.
You don't get it. The message of the series isn't "the world is shitty", it's "the world isn't as shitty as you think it is". The title refers to how 8man initially views his life, not how it actually is.
I kind of want to become a light novel author, I'd like to learn Japanese and publish a bunch of LNs, get an anime for them and of course I would have a very Japanese penname and no one would know that I was gaijin.
I would be nice. I'd wear a kotasu all the time and sit under a kotasu.
yeah kind of
>>“Regardless of who saved whom, you’re equally victims, are you not? In that case, you ought to pin it all on the instigator. And so…”
look who said these words
>>In the midst of the sunset glow, I had no way of knowing what was reflected in her half-closed eyes.
>>Yukinoshita’s footsteps were a little more rapid than usual. Just like that, she walked out the room without looking once behind her.
hikigaya get criticised here a lot but not many faults of other characters are usually brought forward here.
>>118014233 already too much attached to yuigahama
>who are you quoting
What makes you greenpost that?
Everywhere I look I read that already famous sentence "the end is ominous", but can't find something explaining why. Seriously, in the most polite way to express my feeling, fuck this. I need spoilers.
The ending will be Hachiman tumbling down.
sensei finds him drunk on the side of the street and takes him in.
They fall for each other in a drunk fumble of lust
Get married and have a child.
The child is hachiman mark #2
Is Hachiman depressed?
His actions in volume 7~9 was not right, but not in the wrong.
Yet, he is still self-depreciating spouting lines like "I've made a mistake, and fucked over everything"
If it is this depreciating, it seems like Hachiman not a simple loser syndrome but a legit clinical depression
He probably does suffer some flavour of depression and persecution complex but I would say self-dislike and fear of failure are top for him.
He doesn't want to fail without that failure being something he planned to do.
It is easier to accept to failure if you aim to fail than if you try your best and fail.
