Why do weebs ruin everything? Is nothing sacred?
I ordered a copy last night, can't wait.
I've never read the original book so the art grabbed my attention, I don't even care.
Okay I'm not an expert on relationships with underage females so I'll have to ask:
How exactly does writing a story about a little girl going into a batshit insane world help someone to get into little girl's panties?
>How exactly does writing a story about a little girl going into a batshit insane world help someone to get into little girl's panties?
It doesn't help, and carroll probably wasn't even a pedo.
Many people at the time had this sick passion for photo of naked kids.
I never buy. Ever. But I would literally pay money for this.
1-2 cour per book.
Harry Potter anime please nipland I beg you.
Nothing is sacred, you should be used to this by now and it's a good thing.
Does a children story make you think of big black tree dick ?
>For those who have never read Lewis Carroll’s Alice novels, or for those who wish to revisit the beloved tales, this new edition of a perennial classic will appeal to today’s reader who appreciates adorable manga-styled artwork. This 320-page collection contains all of Lewis Carroll’s original text along with two full-color spreads and one hundred black-and-white full-page and spot illustrations.
If you're past the age of ten and you still like harry potter you need psychiatric help. I only read the last two books out of obligation, and they sucked.
This new captcha is making me really fucking angry.
>This new captcha is making me really fucking angry.
It keeps giving me the old Captcha challenge, and after I answered 'quoboblin niggers' it refused to mark me as not being a robot or give me another OCR challenge.
Why do Americans have to ruin everything?
Is nothing sacred?
Japan's? Everybody fetishizes Alice. And it's pretty much moe anime just made in Victorian times.
I wish retards making LN's would look at it and realize what we really want. Weird, crazy and grotesque stories with a little girl protagonist are the best thing ever.
>For some reason
This shit really looks like Kyouko in Wonderland.
Like Japan never does that with countries.
>Catcher in the Rye with little girls
>My spear is the spear that will piece the heavens
>sticking dick in Alice
>drinks the shrinking potion (or cake, whatever)
>she is shrinking around your dick too
>you can feel her getting tighter and tighter until its too much and she gets ripped inpieces in ecstasy around your dick
no, this is my fetish
Probably people taking the platonic love that was there with Carroll and the basis for Alice, Alice Liddell, and putting into it what psychologists do, which is to make it pedolove.
Please, stop. My boner can't take it anymore.
>even imagining hurting Alice
There is a ton of animefied Alice versions. It's nothing new. I guess this one is the first published in english though.
>Harry potter wasn't even that good. Really only the first book.
>the first book.
Pleb, it was actually the first book that felt awkward and unnatural. The later books were okay, dragged down mostly by the shallow magic mechanics.
Good enough to pass time, and holds your interest enough to actually finish it even if you're rushing just so you can read something else.
It's also on Book Depository, although more expensive: http://www.bookdepository.com/Alices-Adventures-Wonderland-Through-Looking-Glass-Lewis-Carroll/9781626920613
I thought supporting Sekai Project was a good idea when I saw Clannad and Grisaia getting licensed. I really, REALLY love Clannad.
Also, I wanted to have physical copies of Touhou games, because I like to collect rare games.
Planetarian was pretty bland, though.
>I haven't even watched the Disney movie; my only experience with Alice is the McGee games
Just read the books, I enjoyed it when I was young and I hated the disney version. It's for kids though, remember this.
But a book for kids 100 years ago in England, is probably like a book for young adults in America today.
>Lord of the rings with little girls
I... I kinda want this now
>`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
>`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
>`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
>`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
Welcome to Wonderland. Enjoy your stay.
Not my favorite but Belgariad would be perfect for an anime adaption
>Tsundere princess with flat chest
>Super special protagonist that can turn into a wolf
>Cool old guy
>Woman with 2 hair colors
Man, I find it hard to like just one book.
>Lord of the Rings becomes Loli of the Rings
>Lord of the Flies becomes Loli of the Flies
>Romeo and Julite as lesbian lolis
>The Great Gatsby as a loli
>Frankenstein as monster loli
>Little Women, literally.
>Odyssey as Ulysses as a loli
>Count of Monte Cristo with vengeful loli and is now Countess of Monte Cristo
>Anna Karennina, Les Miserables, Macbeth, Hamlet(a hammy loli), The Canturbury Tales with lolis.
Sherlock Holmes is now Gosick. Which reminds me: what happened to Gosick Red?
My favorite book already have anime adaptation, checkmate
I'm pretty sure it would be a trainwreck, since the anime would likely focus on Wolves! rather than the underlying loaded philosophy.
That's such a classic I'm pretty sure an anime exists somewhere.
>Alice in Wonderland
More generic, but still a good read. There's actually a human co-protagonist, but she does kick ass. It could be said while the Sight focuses on the wolves, Fell focuses on the humans.
Also the underlying resolution is your basic 'muh humanity and nature should get along'
I don't want my Alice in Wonderland to be slideshows. The thing with SHAFT is that they do interesting things with architecture (which would actually work fine in AiW with how zany it is), but their natural landscapes are usually very barren and that won't work.
>Neuromancer by Studio Bones
I...huh. They might actually be able to pull off the moodiness and dysfunctionality of Neuromancer. They've had practice with lowlife characters and grungy megacities, so at the very least I think they could make it look pretty.
Well she did. She NTR's MC and got pregnant and died with her birthing her baby at the end. Baby dies too.
Okada and Urobuchi will have a field day, nips and /a/ will have feels and suicidal tendencies and by the end of the series it will be likened to "Gloomy Sunday of anime" because of all the suicides.
So let's say I purchase a physical copy and get it shipped to me withing the next few days, and say that I -a person with no experience scanning whatsoever- might want to try scanning this. Are there any basic tips so I don't end up with an abysmal quality scan if I were to try this?
Finally REAL pirates in anime!
>Long Joan Silver is an easy-going one-legged girl who has a way with words
>Captain Smollett is a goody-goody who's suspicious of Silver, she's like a bespectacled class rep
>Trelawney is an ojou-sama and bourgeoisie who isn't very smart, OHOHOHO
>Billy Bones is a loli who drinks too much and dies after quaffing the last pint of rum with a black spot in her hand
I think so too, to be honest. Or at the very least, I doubt it could be worse than the live action adaption in the works. Whenever Case enters Cyberspace would be the best, especially the big gig at the end of the book. Those scenes would be trippy and beautiful as fuck if they were done right.
Come to think of it, the book is filled with fanservice elements that them nips love so much too, like Case experiencing Molly's physical sensations and she tweaks a nipple for him or just Case and Molly in general. Shit could be fun.
It always turns out shitty. My school had this piece of shit.
It's decent for what it is but too short to go anywhere.
Of course there are plenty of other magic school settings, but I wouldn't equate any of those to harry potter except for the broadest of strokes.
