Finished Index yesterday; started Railgun today. 3 episodes in, clearly a better show.
But more importantly - I'm declaring it now. All my love and boners are for Kuroko from here on out
Railgun will save the franchise. The manga is already better than the latest LNs
can't be helped when Railgun is objectively better than Index
Good taste there OP.
So, are the LNs worth reading? The translation is weird.
If I took off her goggles would she die?
When you expected something good will happen to Kuroko in Railgun manga she gets rejected by Mikoto and author pairs her up now with a shota plot so doujin artists could have a go of him fucking Kuroko straight, or make her a pedo for him for next comiket.
I feel sorry for her already.
Kamachi is a shit who truly hates Kuroko.
Do the sisters have any actual motive to care for what the Original thinks of them?
They've got a lotta loyalty for some hired guns.
i want to say she isn't bad but all her cute moments that i remember were in nagaispace. she is good when she gets serious but that almost never happens and when it does it's just against mooks.
Technically his power is the LACK of power, so it a bit odd but it makes sense.
What rumbles MY jimmies is that NO ONE seems to factor his arm into their master plans as much as they should.
>who is the ass in charge of the ranking?
Aleister Crowley, the guy who wants Touma to stay out of shit so he doesn't get himself killed, so he can succeed in his plan to build himself a heaven with Blackjack and Hookers.
Aleister does, it's the centerpiece of his unspecified plan.
Fiamma did, it was what he needed to stop his Holy Right from falling apart, so he could save the world.
Othinus did, she thought it has her ticket home.
I started with Railgun and I'm almost finished with Railgun S.
Is it worth going back and watching Index?
No, it really hasn't been happening "for some time" now, and "years" is absolutely absurd.
I'm not looking for revisionism easily disproven by a 10 second search in the archives. I'm looking for the reason why "secondary" has suddenly become the "cuck" of /a/.
WAS GETTING CAUGHT PART OF HER PLAN?
No, but the science arcs of the manga might be worth it.
oh i don't hate her anon, really like certain parts of her personality but those parts are rare or hidden. her obsession with gekota is cute but it doesn't come up often in railgun because she is embarrassed by it. her being only apart of the light side of AC keeps her from doing cool things like during the sister arc or the ss volumes.
Would you let Kuroko teleport this down your urethra?
>author pairs her up now with a shota plot
She'll get NTR'd by Awaki.
>Kamachi is a shit who truly hates Kuroko.
Kamachi loves her, his original proposal for Railgun was a Spinoff with Kuroko being the protagonist.
Even the volume where Kakine gets destroyed had some weird lines and obvious errors. Though I used the bakatsuki pdfs which I think weren't updated when they went around fixing everything.
>Misaka better than Worst
I'm going through Index right now. There's actually a lot of Misaka in there and arcs that are entirely science side but the magic side arcs are shit. Index arcs tend to be short though at like 4 or 5 episodes each so the story doesn't drag too much.
I didn't like most of the magic arcs, but every science or hybrid story was pretty good, and worth watching. A lot of it was just dragged out wasted time, so it really depends on your tolerance, I'd say.
Index was okay, but not a show I would call great. Give it a shot and if you like it, stick with it. That being said, though, really getting the feeling Railgun is better, so maybe going back now would be a waste.
Only to be paired up with a shota boy who wanted to contact her.
Pretty much we can bet they will pair up cause shota boy has precognition powers and with her teleport ability they can save many people easily.
Fuck you Kamachi for not giving her at least a cute loli.
What is Shizune doing in academy city, and what's with the marker pen dispenser
>We will never get an arc that's just Kuroko on Judgement patrol absolutely wreaking criminal scum
I just want to see someone on the mean streets of academy city bringing law to the lawless.
>Wanting a girl who's been in a better than VR porno
I'd prefer it if Judgement and Anti-Skill weren't completely fucking worthless by design, but I know that's too much to hope for.
>Not turning them in to the authorities so he can do time for turbo-CP
This is how little faith people in raildex have for the rule of law.
Although now I'm wondering if drills is having trouble hearing the guys the next shop over or if she's just dumb.
He probably has a female accelerator card as well.
jumping the gun there. Not even Nagai is dumb enough to turn Kuroko straight.
What if she miscalculated and ends up teleporting her roofies into the wall of he dear Onee-sama's cardiac tissue? Its obvious that she's not willing to risk breaking her heart like that.
She's the only one of the Railgun main girls who would actually thrive in the dark side.
Kuroko would just get killed on her second day out, because she's too curious.
Biri would get taken out soon, since sadism is probably her only character trait that would somehow help her.
Saten is Saten.
>if Judgement and Anti-Skill weren't completely fucking worthless by design
Judgement is the worthless one. Anti-Skill are the ones with the overtechnology that walked all over the Russians.
10032 was directly competing against biri for Touma's affection, possibly just to piss her off and show her how to stop being such a massive tsundere pussy.
and one of the other clones started wearing jewellery.
They're slowly gaining individuality, and drifting apart as a result.
Someone help me out here, what's the /u/ equivalent to "never stick your dick in crazy"?
Word, the guys a freaking vortex of cliched writing and hamfisted romantic subplots. Evey episode he's in is practically guaranteed to be no better then tolerable and anything he stars in is awful at best and a borefest at worst.
There are only 365 days in a year.
To kill even 1000 clones would take well over 3 years if you were killing one every single day, without pause, holidays and weekends.
and he fucking killed nearly 10,000. So that's over 10 years worth of unpaused daily slaughter of human beings.
I mean, that shit is khorne-berzerker-level killstats.
Sorry, i meant 30*
over 30 goddamn years if you're killing one a day.
Not really, out of the ones introduced.
Amata was on the verge of putting two and two together before he got Accelerated. Gensei I'm pretty sure doesn't know about magic since he was a true believer in the whole Level 6 bullshit.
Biri took on ITEM
Saten can take on power armor with a bat
Kuroko and Awaki would have 11th dimension sex
Uiharu is only good at hacking/making firewalls which every villain can get through.
Even if he is doing it 12:00 to 12:01 every day.
That's still a huge fucking commitment based purely on the massive timespan it would take to carry out.
And we know for a fact it isn't a 1-minute thing (not that he isn't capable of that), but he deliberately takes his time with them hoping to get more of a fight out of them.
Fighting aside, he's still got to get up, get out, go to the agreed-upon location, wait, start the fight, take however long that takes, then make his way back home.
If he's doing one a day, his killcount would have taken over 30 years, so he must be doing more than one kill a day to reduce that time, and once again, this is excluding weekends, holidays, sick-days. all that shit.
>Saten can take on power armor with a bat
>Uiharu is only good at hacking/making firewalls which every villain can get through.
Confirmed for not reading the LNs.
Saten is an expert at making friends who will inevitably bail her dumb ass out of the fire.
Kuroko and Uiharu are both dead meat on their own but might be able to function as a tag-team if they had a controller briefing them on what to expect.
>Confirmed for not reading the LNs.
Her computational ability is not as great as it's been made out to be. She gets outhacked by Misaka, tracked down by both Keitz (okay) and the CIA (not okay), and ends up in a draw with that one hacker that gets tiebroken due to Antiskill being on her side.
>I'm talking about the one where she stopped a truck.
While impressive, it's still not a good measure of the kind of challenges she'd face if dropped into the dark side.
>Accelerator in charge of not being Worst's husbando
Kharn considers 10k+ a slow day, but time in the Warp is always a bit fudgeable.
Here's are some fun questions for the 40kids in the thread:
Do Runes of The Blood God affect esper powers?
Would Adepteus Mechanicus techno-sorcery be considered Magic side or Science side?
What would happen if you installed a Sister brain in a Legio Cybernetica combat automata?
on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard would electropreists get watching Misaka in action?
>ends up in a draw with that one hacker that gets tiebroken due to Antiskill being on her side.
To be fair, she was fighting that one from her PSP. She'd be a lot better on a computer.
I would say Touma would fair pretty well in the 40k world. Even their science is decidedly magical in tone.
I mean we could argue semantics and psuedo-science until the cows come home, but based on the kind of shit Touma gets away with in his own world, the 40k world is not too different really.
I'm pretty sure his anti-magic powers would either herald him as the greatest treasure humanity has ever birthed save for the emperor himself, or they would kill him for being warp-resistant.
