A visual novel adaptation of the christmas story 'A Tsundere Carol' created by an anon some years ago.
>Sprite artist on board
>Basic layout sorted for ADV
>Original script coded in
>Royalty free music sourced and ready to be implemented
Still to do:
>Add some context to the script in places to make up for the change in structure
>Make the GUI look prettier
>Add in some cool effects
>Ensure the game matches the feeling of the comic as much as possible
I don't really mean to nitpick
all right, I do, but the original story did have 'Christmas' in the title
well I guess you missed out then anon
Well this is cool and all, but the character designs are boring as hell. But I'm just bias against blonde/pigtails/loli designs. I know this is supposed to be a self insert but does the MC have to be so dull as well? All I ask is to please at least give her a real personality and not a carbon cut out of every tundere ever. Have some reasoning behind her tsun ways and make her a more rounded person with a actual reason fo taking a liking to the MC other that a lame childhood friend scenario.
Confirmed for not being here 3 years ago.
It's basically a tribute to A Christmas Carol. You don't look at the art. It's the story that counts.
That thread was made epic because of the ghosts, especially the Ghost of Christmas Yet-to-Come.
>Taking a joke comic on Christmas so seriously
The whole thing was filled with /a/ jokes anyway. It's literally just something fun for the board to enjoy, not a serious work of art.
>Christmas carol with a tsundere
I'm sold. Will add this to my list to check up on.
The art seem sub-par, as one should expect from amateur works. But you are a huge faggot to not like twintails and loli design.
I literally decided to do this yesterday and I want to get it out on Christmas, so I won't be changing much from the original storyline. There won't be any CGs really, other than what I can do in photoshop adapting backgrounds, effects and sprites etc. I will be adding some small bits in to help connect scenes and pad things out, but it's mostly going to be the original story. It was just a nice idea to do something for /a/ on Christmas within a tight deadline.
Like I said, still waiting to see what the sprite artist comes up with but added a star ahoge
Can't wait to see Kubo.
A thousand hours in photoshop
Something like this or what?
I was about to say, the colour could be playing a factor.
