Is it wrong?
also anyone else reading it?
>he's had to work for everything
The work he's put in is a minor fraction of the work everyone else at his level had to. And he's the only super speshul one to get this EXP multiplier.
Oh yeah and there was that time he basically had magic handed to him for free.
That doesn't make him a gary stu, he's not perfect by any means. He's still had to face and overcome challenges, and worked his ass off mostly solo which was incredibly dangerous.
you want no justice! I I will show you no justice
>The story is set in a world where humanity, driven off the land by the threat of magical armored insects, now live in aerial floating cities. Thus wizards - aerial combat mages who fight the insects with magical powers - came into being.
>Kanata Age is a young man who lives on the floating wizard academy city of "Misutogan." He was once celebrated as the "Black Master Swordsman," the elite ace of the S128 special team. However, he is now despised as the "traitor of the special team." One day, he is assigned as the instructor of E601, a team that has suffered 10 consecutive defeats. E601 has three girls - Misora Whitale, Lecty Eisenach, and Rico Flamel - with one or two peculiar quirks.
So dont you fucking dare shit on Dungeon
>Mc is too fucking pure. He needs a bit of edge to stop trusting everyon, always the reason he gets beat up because of too much trust
I find it actually find it quite refreshing compared to the asshole or "dark" protagonists that are currently in these types of stories. It's almost like the original yuusha archetype was so old that it seems new again.
I still dont get how he is labelled as Gary Stu when he only has a exp multiplier and faster stat growth which is useless without any techniques, he even has to duke out with a minotaur that a lvl 3 adventurer can handle easily.
And wheres the harem? I only see girls having interest on him and no cliches scenes and he has his eyes on that Aiz girl which also affect his stat growth.
And his behavior is too pure
>gets a magic bolt instacast
>gets overjoyed as fuck
>proceed to spam it like a fucking kid
Anyway not that great but still entertaining. Sword or Ororia which stars the Aiz girl seems more interesting.
>Only level 2
>Can easily get his ass handed by the absolute monsters like Aizu and her crew, high level dungeon monsters and the rest
>Easily falls prey to the machinations of gods who want his soul (slut, hermes, even the fucking support girl) because he is stupid and extremely naive
>Equipped with mid tier gear with the exception of hestia's dagger and
>Does not know any proper sword arts or martial arts in any form as stated in the novel/ relies purely on strength, speed and reflexes while he fights with an amateur's form
>Even Aizu couldn't teach him, so she just trained his reflexes and ability to parry
Hardly Stu, overpowered to an extent because of EXP multiplier, but he's still too young and inexperienced to fight anything truly STU like fucking Aizu.
But honestly, Rabbit is still too inexperienced for the hardcore shit that Aizu and Co. do.
He's fine where he is and I like it that way, reading about him soloing the dungeon would have been neat, but Bell isn't a smart character, he's keen at the right moments, but not overall intelligent.
The author would have had to make scenes where Bell would have to intelligently planned, tricked, and abused the dungeon to his advantage to succeed soloing, and Bell's a cute idiot so nope.
Is anyone gonna upload the Yen Press translation? Never read their stuff before and I'm not sure it's worth buying.
I already bought the Japanese version.
OP, read it, it's not best LN out there
(because there is no best LN)but it's entertaining and fun read. It also has has lovable cast-oppai loli,/ss/ Freya etc. so in my book it's worth reading.
He doesn't know because Loli Oppai Goddess is jealous that he got this skill after his encounter with Ais and fell in love with her.
Can't wait for translated Volume 5 + 6. Just checked yenpress. They went so far to announce a date for Volume 3 and 4 already
I've always thought it was Hestia who gave him that skill. I thought he had it since the beginning, but thanks to Ais companions laughing of him at the bar the effect increased with his emotions.
I don't think Gods can give skills. There's a shit ton of them so I don't think they're as omnipotent as we think in this scenario or at least when they're in the human(lower(?)) realm.
They might be able to, but it would ruin the whole fun of the gods giving humans grace and watching them struggle in the dungeon. Their followers are like an evolving card game. Cool skills=rare cards.
It's the same reason gods have agreed to not use their truly godlike powers on earth. It would ruin the fun.
So where the fuck that "skill/trait" come? I always thought it was given a starting skill, (family trait) to each member. I've started reading the manga and then jumped to the LN so i didn't read the first chapters.
I guess skills are similar to magic in a way.
>It's the same reason gods have agreed to not use their truly godlike powers on earth. It would ruin the fun.
Guess I was just remembering it wrong. I thought they couldn't use it not that they just agreed not to.
I read somewhere that they can, but when they does, the Dungeon gets crazy and start spamming monsters. It's seems the Dungeon want to destroy the Gods. So they made a pact of never using their godly powers.
The pact's just for fun. I mean Uranos(Uranus) is using his power daily to suppress the dungeon anyway. Hermes asked for his permission to broadcast the entire Castle Siege event in volume 6.
