Less than 24 hours remain.
I feed Ruri ice cream all the time! Shun is such a bad big brother to not give Ruri any sweets
Jun: either make an Ojama deck with racoons, or a Dragon deck with Light and Darkness Dragons, but do not under any circumstances mix.
Jono...just make a Jinzo deck, it's all he's got, or maybe a generic warrior deck. Fubuki already has Red-Eyes covered
A Phoenix Gearfied deck would also work with Blue Flame Swordsman, given how many fire gemini warrios there are, just add Valkyrian Knight, Rose Warrior Lady and Crimson Blader
Bastion/Daichi, that smart Ra Yellow guy who was important in Season 1, and then became irrelevant to the point of not even showing up at the graduation
Are you man enough to become a children's trading card for your waifu?
>>Be 14, go to game store.
>>I want to git gud at yugioh, and 4chan told me numeron code is best card.
>>Ask kindly old lady in the counter if they have Numeron Code in stock.
>>She says yes.
>>Be giddy from anticipation.
>>Old lady takes Numeron Code from binder.
>>When suddenly her skins burst into flames and DOn Thousand pops out
>>HAHAHAHA REALITY IS MINE!
>>mfw earth is hell now.
>Sound Duel 2 comes out in January
TIME FOR HEROIC TRUMPHETS
Become an entertainment duelist like Yuya.
I love it when someone screencap my post. Makes the hours I've wasted on 4chan not seem like a gigantic waste, just a significant one.
What kind of Summoning will be introduced in the next anime in three years?
I'm kind of surprised we don't have cards that evolve yet. Not like Assault Mode or Rank Up but something like Pokemon but applied to YGO somehow
Because he's Yellow. Sure, Manjoume becomes a red and then wears black for the remainder of the series, but he's one of the most notable blues who wore an entirely blue uniform.
Same with Asuka being the white bujin, her uniform was primarily white.
>where Misawa doesn't get the shaft?
He still loses almost all the duels he's besides the Tag Duel with Asuka, but yeah, he was more important since he was the auto-denominated Manjoume's rival.
Whenever I point out things it always surprises me that they weren't obvious in the first place.
35 got delayed because Judau blew up tv tokyo. They're about to finish rebuilding and they're going to air the 35 instead of 36 this week.
Are we hyped about 35? I stopped visiting /a/ right after the subs for 34 is out because of some other long-running anime series that had ended kind of robbed my attention.
Do we know what's happening besides Sora vs. Yuto with some Yuya to Yuto shenanigans?
Does anyone know why Misawa got the shaft? i understand getting rid of Koala boy, but Misawa had potential that they completely squandered. Dino-DNA guy sorta took his place for some reason.
When Misawa returned in S3, he was just the exposition guy and didn't duel
Takahashi didn't write the filler arcs of DM, and the writers changed some things and added others of the canon story. Kaiba wasn't even in the Memory World or ceremonial duel in the manga.
Can't wait for fabulous banana motorcylce action.
I'm gonna blaspheme and say while i'm enjoying Arc-V
It's not reached 5Ds season 1 level. At least not the Dark Signer feels yet
Well I don't think many would disagree. 5Ds season 1 was full of HAPPENINGS and PLOT that just led into more of that in Dark Signers while Arc-V is just gearing up hard while mainly addressing the story all out right now.
It's just that Arc-V's potential right now is pretty huge
I think Arc-V is better than everything before except for Duel Monsters(from battle city on) and 5ds before the end of Dark Signers. But the myth arc has the potential to be the best one yet.
>Worst main character
>Duels were awful
>Pointless side characters
>Story was slow as fuck
Vector and Zexal II saved that show from the grave
Finally, a chance to be a drawfag despite my inexistent art skills!
>Draws Pot of Greed from Bubbleman
>Draws Graceful Charity
>Draws Necro Darkman and Necro Gardna and discards them
Judai was actually the worst for top decking because he essentially top handed
Yusei just seemed more noticeable
Judai is the ultimate alchemist, he creates fusion monsters out of air
how did Yusei create Shooting Quasar Dragon?
how did Yuma create Future Hope?
how did Yuya create Beast-Eyes/Rune-Eyes?
any chances that we will see his Dragon soon?
When Syncho Yuzu gonna appear?
I want her to ride in her majestic motorcycle and fan slapping Yugo
It's right thereb in section 34, paragraph, 3, it was changed after the Milenium World time-reversal incident, cosmic rewrites are no longer allowed, faggot, go home you've been disqualified.
Don't forget GOYOKU NA TSUBO
>But we've seen Yugo's face, anon. He's not Synchro Yuya.
Yes he is. They said as such in the description
Well what they said was "he looks like Yuya" but it's the same as Yuto being Xyz Yuya
Why would there have to be a specific Yuya doppelganger for each summon? The matter could be that there is just an MC sized representative for each, not a vague clone, and Yugo seems to fit that former memo.
I have a feeling Yuto is the only one that outright resembles Yuya, and the design crew just rolled with it and tied it into the plot.
It is literally in the character description pic
"Standing in front of Yuya and the others, a mysterious duelist that looks just like Yuya!"
FUCK THIS SHIT YUYA LOOKS NOTHING LIKE YUTO OR THIS FAG! HE LOOKS MORE LIKE A FUCKING BANANA SHUN, BUT NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER 6 EPISODES WHERE PEOPLE FUCK UP BECAUSE THEY THINK THEIR HUSBANDO IS A DICK WHILE IT'S CLEAR THAT IT'S NOT HIM.
Well, that last duel against Tragoedia was just full blown out bullshit.
He admits that he just created his deck for shits and giggles, Manjoume Special Summons LaDD, Judai has Ma'at feed him the cards on his deck...
Misawa's story will end with him going back to the other dimension with his Amazon Tiger girlfriend.
All in all, he got the happiest ending of anyone in GX.
Plus, now nothing is stopping him from becoming the New Supreme King of that Dimension.
>Kotori never duels
Guys, did you lie to me?
Also Alit a best.
The episode explicitly made it clear Kotori had never dueled before, then she lost some off-screen duels and then she got Barian'd and lost on-screen.
She might as well have never dueled
>mfw Duel Arena has her
>mfw her partner deck is called, "Kotori's First Deck"
>mfw it's Agents
You wanna know what's funny?
Kotori's VA is aparently the best duelist of all the anime staff, she frequently won the tournaments they have. She actually used Agents many times.
And yet, despite having a VA willing to help promote the card game and who was contractually obligated to be in every episode, they do nothing with her.
I gave up trying to find a torrent and just read them online like a pleb.
pic related. It's all about the eyelashes/eyeliner
At least Kotori gave us one good card: Fairy Cheer Girl.
That's more than Ura-Boy and Class rep ever gave us. Kotori may get the most hate because of her excesive screen time, but those 2 were an even bigger waste of oxygen
>Just started rewatching GX
>Finished the Jaden Vs Bastion duel
>"I will create an 8th deck to defeat you."
Why did the writers hate him so much?
Bad translation, he just said "I set one bear and end my turn."
"Set facedown" is redundant anyway.
>you will never drink milkshakes on the rocks at the BARian and argue about whose waifu is the best
Why even live?
Because I have a new episode to watch, dammit
at lest he made it were he is without riding someone coat tales unlike some little faggot, pic related, sadly this pissant got more screen time and after he stuck a knife in his friends back
Because even without what that guy is talking about, Sho isn't really a good best friend compared to other YGO best friends. All he really does is jerk around and follow Judai with a few moments to give him some semblance of character development
It's not exactly a kids show anyway, with all the cussing and hitting and straight-up occaaional murder or genocide, unless you watch the dub which might as well be for infants its so tepid.
I didn't notice the pastebin because it was spoilered
>Jaden was acting like an emo jerk willing to sacrifice his friends to save some dude he knew for like a month
He was there for Shou without asking for anything in return for ages, all through that blue haired faggots dumb problem. He stayed behind in Slifer for the guy. Then the first time Judai gets into some real shit and needs friends to go through some struggle for him, he bounced
What are you talking about?
Sho was promoted to Obelisk Blue in season 3, but willingly gave that up to go back to the dorm with Judai.
In Season 4, Judai became emo and avoided everyone and told them to leave, so Sho went back to Obelisk. Once Judai mellowed down, they started hanging out again.
Do you think Shuns red scarf is a keepsake of Ruri?
All the members of the resistance seem to have a red cloth, it's possible it was hers.
Ushio/Trudge is in his 50s during 5Ds, so that would mean it's been about 30~35 years since Season 0. The time gap between S0 and DM's end is about a year and a half (if I recall), and the gap between DM and GX puts Yugi at least in his 20s, so it's probably 5-7 years, which would also match up with Kaiba putting out the all-call for kids' art and Judai submitting it.
So that means that the time gap between the end of GX and the start of 5Ds is about 21~28 years. Yugi would probably be roughly the same age as Ushio, and would probably not be dead, but probably is too busy banging Rebecca and having tomb-centric adventures to give a rat's ass about some motorcycle bullshit.
Pegasus was in his 30s or 40s (at least) in DM, so that puts him in the 60~70 ballpark, and considering all the shit he's been through, makes him much more likely to have keeled over since GX.
>You will never hear that wonderful voice of Pegasus in Yu-Gi-Oh ever again
Why even live?
I don't know man, but with the Resonators Dragons and the multiple factions like Academia, Resistance and the future Lancers Selection, Arc-V is giving me some serious Signers/Dark Signers vibes.
Wildcard Strong Girl faction best faction
I don't know who his VA was, but he deserved a raise for managing to have a near-perfect 1:1 imitation of the Jap voice in English, and without sounding weird, to boot.
Truly the mark of a professional dubsmith.
>Judai saves the day all the time
>Has a lack of judgement for 5 minutes
>Everybody starts bitching at him
>He didn't even want them to come
Pegasus is pretty much the biggest role he's had, and he loves doing it from what I've seen. I had the chance to talk to for a bit at one of those character duel things and he's a chill guy.
Judai intentionally tried to leave without his friends because he knew there was serious danger involved.
They insisted on coming anyway. It's Judai's friends' fault that they cared about his well-being.
I am fully aware of how retarded this sounds.
Allegedly, Yugo's design was done by one of the lead artists for Zexal.
I know. That was the entire point of that post, to indicate "Yeah, Pegasus is dead, but Yugi probably isn't."

The duel between Sora and Yuto becomes even more intense. In order to stop the duel, Yuya joins in and starts a Battle Royal rule. However, disasters continue one after another and new facts become apparent.
Yuya, who finds it impossible to stop the duel between Sora and Yuto, dives into the duel, Pendulum Summoning his "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". With Odd-Eyes on the field, Yuto's Dark Rebellion begins to resonate. Meanwhile, Sora's heart continues to burn for revenge against Yuto, In addition, a new Duelist appears before a shaken Yuya, who's true face gives him a further shock.
Yugo (Voiced by Shinpei Takagi)
Yuzu's out for this episode so no interruption until the episode after. Expect to see her regardless, just not voiced (like in you-know-who's duel).
>Yuya cuts into the duel to stop it.
Holy shit the brass ones on this guy. Where were you when Alpha Yuya finally came back?
>Yuya joins in and starts a Battle Royal rule
Oh shit nigga, i've been waiting for 3+ player battles
>No crude strong girls around
Yuya will be ecstatic
>Where were you when Alpha Yuya finally came back?
He's still mostly trapped in the one shot manga universe, along with genki Yuzu and Reiji who actually duels
Yeah Manga Yuzu is like the exact opposite of the stoic rule 63 Yusei we know and love.
Wait, they got Yuto's VA's actual twin brother to voice Yugo?
>Voiced Fake Retsu in Gekiranger
HOLY SHIT THIS CASTING JESUS CHRIST
Get a job and buy it
Shame that was his biggest role. There are some voice actors that just know how to make every role they play an eargasm while fitting the character. Sounds like he's that kind of guy.
>Reiji confronts his father, but he isnt strong enough yet, gets BTFO out
>Nakajima steps in and holds off Leo long enough for the rest of the crew to get Reiji away
>As he falls, he tells Reiji on the com that he always thought of him as his own son, and that he's very proud of him
Whatever hapened to Reiji's mom? We all thought she was gonna be like Kiryuin Ragyo or something but all she's done so far is stare intently at Rayra.
Who's side is she on? Her son's, her husband's or her own's?
She only has eyes for her older brother, her body & soul belong to him and him only>>118302938
Oh god please no
>"Reiji-sama, I was happy to serve by your side. I truly wish it could have been longer"
Oral might be difficult
>Yuya, being younger, has a higher voice
>Yugo and Yuya are the same age, and thus have the same voice (although Yugo's is slightly deeper).
So that means that since they're trying to at least put some effort into making the voices sound similar/the same, that FuYa will either be:
>Be of a noticeably different age than Yuya, Yugo, and Yuto (either older or younger) so that they can cast somebody with a different pitch/tone
>Be female so that they don't have to worry about sounding similar.
>Put FuYa's voice through a filter and have one of the current Yu- VAs voice them.
I wonder if we'll finally see how people are moving between dimensions in the first place
>Been torrenting what I thought was ZeXal II for the last 4 hours
>Get to 99% and check the file
>See Olympic Special
>realize I've downloaded part one twice
>Get the actual torrent
>Sub 25 KB/s with a one week esitimated finish
>Was getting 6.5 mb/s on ZeXal part one
Is there any decent place to download single episodes? I don't think I can deal with this shit.
Maybe they perform some Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Scratch that, there are actually no different dimensions, there are just 4 towns next to each other and people are overdramatizing card games to ridicolous extremes.
Best vidya right now?
No one plays the actual card game around here. Hell, there aren't even any game shops around, save for packs at walmart and such.
Living in buttfuck nowhere is suffering.
>technological advancements like that don't happen in 30 years
I dont find it that hard to believe, none of the robots or anything are that more advanced than some of the shit Kaiba had
>Tech advancements like that don't happen in 30 years
Bull fucking shit they don't. 30 years ago the mere CONCEPT of a Terabyte was unthinkable unless you were a superspy government hotshot, and even then it was amazing. Now people can carry mutiple TBs on their fucking wrist like a watch.
Science don't play.
Hey guys, I was wondering if you could post me a good Entermate/Superheavy deck if it's not too much asking?
Guys, guys, what if each of the dimensions is a different timeline after GX? So the Fusion world is one where Ener-D and thus Synchro was never invented, Fusion was thus always seen as the highest form of summoning as the Duel Academy became the most influential institution in the world, Synchro world is 5ds world, where ener-D and Synchro were invented, and Zero reverse killed off the original DM cast (But not Testu), XYZ world is one where the Heartland took away the spotlight from the academia and pendulum world is the "lightest timeline", one that more or less follow tech development from DM and Gx in a more starightforward manner, the DM cast might be still alive and be the "pros" they talk so much about, or be dead, but of old age, Ener-D was invented but Zero reverse didn't, thus leading an increase in technology and development of not only synchro but also XYZ, not allowing the academy to grow so influential and leaving a market open for competitors like LDS. Of course the details of what happened in each timeline may vary wildly when they are actually revealed, but I think it's pretty likely they are alternate futures of some previous point in the yu-gi-oh franchise.
Yeah, and GX's third season was about a yandere dragon killing everyone in an attempt to get the MC's dick.
They may be exceptionally dark, but they're still all kid shows. They're literally Saturday evening cartoons.
I hope the plot kicking into gear doesn't mean that Yuzu and Gon will get less dueling time.
I think it's more like "family shows". Kinda like, i dunno, adventure time or the pixar movies. Stuff that is suitable for kida, but not mind-numbingly dull like a pure kid's show (Think caillou or some stuff like that). So yeah, one of the primary audiences for show and cards are children, but i don't think they ignore older fans.
I hope that Yuzu and Gon have less dueling time and more
onscreen fucking thats happening behind Yuya's back and offscreen for the past 30 episodes I need some Gon porn. Him naked under a waterfall was nice
>So yeah, one of the primary audiences for show and cards are children, but i don't think they ignore older fans.
5Ds ratings were pretty poor compared to the Zexal juggernaut, so young protags will probably be the norm for a long time
You know, if I had been in charge of Konami when Yu-gi-oh became more than duel monsters and its card game, I would have gone with a two pronged approach to the anime: The normal sequels/spinoffs they're doing now, but also a series of OVAS, or even webisodes, released periodically during each series run, with older characters and somewhat more mature plots (5ds or gx season 3 style, not really more than that), adhering more strictly to the rules of the irl game and shilling more metagaming and tournament oriented cards. Also, a decent official online way to play the game. Think of the mad money they could be making if they had set up a cloud infrastructure for playing the game long ago and now they could sell not only the physical game but virtual cards for ios and android.
Konami doesnt like to work for their money. Just think about Duel Arena, thats how they intend to battle ygopro and dueling network.
They advertise cards in anime filler duels which they will never even print. They do everything to make real life ygo tournaments stuck in irrelevance because of shit tourney prices. They try to avoid pandering to the older audience because MUH AUDIENCE FOCUS.
Face it, Konami doesnt like working for their money.
The sad part if that duel network is kind of shit and YGOpro would be a thousand times better if it had Konamki's backing. Seriously, think YGOpro, but constantly updated with the newest cards and official rulings straight from the source, with the team being paid to do better and more frequent work on it, consutently ported to mobile and consoles... god it'd be a money printing machine, and they could literally have it any day, it'd have been better if they had an infrastructire for it for a long time and they had kept updating it, but still, they could easily hire the YGOpro team, work on it for a few months to bring it up to official play standards, and make it official. But they won't because Japan doesn't do silicon valley adcqui-hires (and for good reason, most of those are stupid, but this one would make a ton of sense)
He is. Takahashi himself confirmed that Ushio in 5D's is the same character from the manga's first chapter. He intentionally chose to use him when he did the character designs for 5D's.
The Toei anime/season 0 is completely non-canon by the way.
On a scale of 1 to Mad Chimera, how crazy will Sora be in this episode?
4 hours to new episode.
will we get a new thread before then?
I think Yuya is supposed to turn into, "Battle Phase, ouju-sama," when shit goes down. He's entertaining, avoiding the conflict, and being fantastic simultaneously. Tomatoes don't have edges.
>Sora would have won if it wasn't an action duel
>hurr durr fly for 7 minutes to get an action card to stop Leo from blowing my faggy face off
>Sora would beat Yuto in a non action duel
>then yuya shows up and dragons resonate or something
Gilag's bullshit makes it seems really Duel of the Week, but once Alito shows up things start getting better.
You can't go 60 seconds without playing a card on your turn, and you can only hold 1 action card at once.
Honestly, Yuya seems to have Action Dueling's "meta" down pat. Take his own turn mostly standing still, then go search for action cards during his opponent's turn. Now all he needs is to not have a completely shitty deck that relies on the Action Cards.
I'm hoping he gets his shit kicked in for this duel, or reveals that people do indeed switch decks between Action and Ground duels like they did in 5Ds.
Shun went for the action card on his opponent's turn, delaying the resolution of a chain (Wheel-Saw Lion's effect) in order to hunt for one. This is a legal play and didn't keep Sora from conducting his turn properly, so it's cool.
I kept with it through Zexal but dropped Zexal II and didn't pick it up again until people convinced me it got better after the SoL. I loved GX's early stuff but going from The WDC serious to Zexal II SoL was far too jarring and felt wrong.
There wouldn't be enough of a difference to justify it, probably. Or rather, a ton of the material that didn't make it to the original anime didn't revolve around the card game, thus Konami would have no interest in airing it.
>Implying Yuma can't just rewrite everything
>Implying Yuma isn't strongest "Yu" by default
>Implying Yuma wouldn't shit on the biggest cheater of all time, Atem.
Why is Yuma so banned from YCS?
Those rewriting powers sure would come in handy right now.
It would be interesting if it's like some alternate timeline where Yuma, or Yusei never were born because of Judai fucking up.
I always never did like the Judai kid. He was my least favorite "Yu-Gi-Oh!" Protagonist.
There's an unnecessary attention to detail for Yugi's collarbone and throat that leaves me strangely aroused.
You did notice this Yugi is taller and has no Puzzle, yes?
>You did notice this Yugi is taller and has no Puzzle, yes?
Yes I did. It was because of those details I assume it will be before GX but the card design tells me otherwise. But if >>118320035 is saying is true, then I'm guessing we're having another time fuckery movie.
She uses Agents in the video games because that's what they do with the female characters who never actually duel in video game adaptations.
They gave Anzu agents in one of the older YGO games as well.
You're complaining about the Verz deck? Nigga her second deck is DRAGON RULERS. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mrs._Andrews_%28World_Duel_Carnival%29
There's also like, five different people who play Mecha Phantom Beasts for whatever reason.
>It's straight up old dragon rulers starring Fog King Tech
Dear dueling god, why is she using this.
And it's more of, her deck caught me completely off guard and it was a verz deck, I think I would have a roughly equal footing versus a computer with galaxies but verz makes getting my level 8's a pain in the dick
