Did this show have any problems other than just being 4 episodes long?
They wanted to introduce mega evolutions to older fans. That's why they made the anime about gen 1, to lure in the nostalgiafags and introduce the mega evolutions to them. If they saw Red using a mega pokemon, they might like them
What that from Giovanni? He is a hax like that
pokespe red is more hax than giovanni
>a single thunderbolt defeats 5 ground type pokemon
Truly origins Red is the worse trainer of them all.
>There's no such thing as a Charizard that could withstand that many water attacks and live afterwards
Actually, Blastoise has really bad offensive stats unless you go for -M and use those few moves the new ability supports.
They are a bunch of assholes I swear. They want the old fans back but they make every game even more casual without difficulty and also remove improvements. Well, retards are going to buy the games anyway.
They've streamlined the games so you don't even need to grind anymore, unless you want to just grind EVs, which isn't even that important in the main game. You can pretty much use literally any pokemon and win now.
That should be included too though - grinding, smarter AI, it's all part of making the game better.
Increasing exp gains just takes the enjoyment out of the game I find - even the regular gains in X and Y for example made it too easy, never mind the exp. share bullshit.
I'm almost certain you couldn't in Red and Blue version from trainers alone. I was a moron as a kid and only used my starter the entire game. I beat the Elite 4 with a level 88 Blastoise and a whole lot of full recovers and ethers.
The only pokemon I wasn't able to beat the entire way through was my rival's Venasaur in the fight before Victory Road. Although, the AI was so retarded at the time that I was able to beat it with a level 16 Bellsprout because it kept spamming poison powder and failing.
I didn't really enjoy the Charizard wank or the mega evolutions.
