Reminder that if you were following the staff streams before each episode during the season, there's going to be at least one more.
Tune in in 20 minutes.
I don't think I can handle watching Fava and Amira's final talk again. While it was nothing mind blowing and pretty predictable, it was just animated so beautifully, they both looked great and the music just really set the tone well.
Mother fucking bitch tears.
It had a weird Ghibli quality to it for me. Which was weird since they dropped the whole "WE NEED TO SAVE HER, NOT KILL HER" as soon as they landed in Bahamut because being there was like hiking in a mine-filled mountain.
Still, that epilogue was really hopeful and implied that Favaro would try and save her. I fucking loved how Favaro became more heroic and Kaisar became more cunning by the end of the series, it was so satisfying seeing both of them growing closer together and rubbing off on each other.
Kaisar's hand confirmed to be a present from Favaro.
Not that there was any doubt.
Here's what I could graze from first viewing; apologies if I misheard anything.
- The guy with the beard is Yoshihiro Ike, the composer; other two guests are Ootsuka from MAPPA and Kimura, a producer for the game.
- There really is a Ghibli staffer, past or current, named Yamashita, who worked on the episode; he and Satou are old friends. (At this point all the commenters in the stream started writing "homooooo".) They worked together on a 'giant robot OAV', which had a lot of people mention 'Gロボ', which might be Giant Robo?
- Having Kaisar with his hair down at the end was a last-minute decision.
- Apparently the concert is really going to happen - they've even set the dates, May 1st and 2nd (during Golden Week). Among other things they're expecting to have Risa Shimizu sing Promised Land with a full orchestra.
- This was the last regular Yoru no Fantasy but they'll probably have another one at the next screening event.
Wasn't it that the bracelet was a gift from Hammerhead? They were talking about whether or not people noticed the cracks.
Akihiko Yamashita is actually the third guy in Bahamut from Kogawa's Studio Bebow, Satou and Onda the other two.
First off, Yamashita is this guy: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=595
And it was indeed Giant Robo they both worked on. Satou was key animator on several latter episodes and was even animation director for episode 6. So that's yet another amazing show that he worked on and I didn't even realize it.
Perhaps the most important thing: soundtrack is coming out. They mentioned the 12 discs worth of music again, so they're still editing it down.
They also mentioned the ED being included with BD 1, but it was hard to tell if that was a joke or not, as per usual.
Bacchus is probably the one who came up with the nickname, but Favaro calls him that in a joking way pretty often - episode 1, and then again in episode 6. Engraving it on the hand, plus the COD charge, seems like Favaro all the way.
They squeezed it into one of the next-episode previews that he made the clock-hilt of his sword, so yeah, it's possible that's his hobby or something. He also has the gatling crossbow, which is certainly the most technologically advanced weapon anyone on the show had. Wish that had made it into the series instead of being mentioned in passing.
>Kaisar has a new artificial hand from Favaro
>Favaro has Kaisar's bracelet
>both on the left
In retrospect, this ending might really be gayer than Samurai Flamenco's after all.
A good rogue is supposed to have all kinds of random and unexpected skills, though. It's in keeping with his character.
Would be neat if he speaks 4 or 5 languages but can't read.
Kaisar was just following Favaro's instructions. He had Guilles in the open for a good while and the idea of carding him never crossed his mind. Come to think of it, am I missing something, how did Favaro, of all people was supposed to know Guilles had a bounty?
>Eh Kaisar was nowhere near as bad as Noah, at least Kaisar could show some concern for other human beings during his quest for revenge.
That's what I meant. Maybe Kaisar could tell him to chill the fuck out. Damnit Noah you are making the little girl dolls wonder if there is any meaning to life.
At least there's Mia but goddamn do I miss Ruby and Grimnir.
Why is Go so cute.
I'm so happy
The horses survived maybe they did too. Or maybe every background character died horribly off screen and it's all really depressing.
Or maybe apple guy was really one of the King's dozens of bastards and is the new King. In S2 he will enact his vengeance against Favaro for the fate of that apple.
Still trying to piece together Lucifer's fate from the scraps of events I can find on twitter, but I can't even tell if it's the same event. Based on the time space these have been posted, it could be. Top are from September, bottom two are from December although they are reposted from the September event.
I took them from this twitter account https://twitter.com/maida0493/media lots of Grimnir behind the link
Nice find Anon, thanks for sharing. Just realized that version of Lucifer doesn't have any make up. Wonder why they decided to pretty him up for the anime.
Ffff, that new Grimnir card, I hope we get it. I noticed that there is a voice button in some of the dialogue scenes, I guess jp gets voice acting too.
Rest of the Grimnir cards I found on the the jp version wiki:
By the way. Somebody was asking about the same thing in a recent 2ch thread. And according to that person's info from their little research of the previous events (presumably taken from forums & twitter), Azazel thus far had no lines (there is no CV listed on his original card wiki so I was expecting that), but he does in fact work close to Lucifer against their enemies on a regular basis.
Well it suits him pretty well considering the dialogue I've seen so far. Amalia sounds different from what I expected though.
ENG version of the game is known for missing out on a lot of cards but I do at least one of the last two sets get released.
Well, I was more asking about content of the dialogue cards but yea he's a pretty boy.
>Wonder why they decided to pretty him up for the anime.
It's to ve expected his design would have to fall under Genesis' standard aesthetic and it's something that makes him stand out, his card artist draws pretty generic faces.
Anyone have a good shot of Favaro's tattoo? I require it for reasons
It's Zeus it doesn't matter what you wear that guy would rape anything.
>It even would that this observed vine Fallen, Kano daughter, if Atau be placed in my hands .... Contraindications, you descent by defeating the discipline.
What it makes perfect sense to me
Did no one ask about the tail? That's one ambiguity I'd like confirmed.
That's somewhat surprising. I thought it was Bacchus at first then Kaisar goes on about some sort of debt. Glad they cleared that up.
Guess he'll need to keep following his FAVAROOO for maintenance.
>no Amira sweeping the beach clean eating everything
>no Kaisar wearing ridiculous speedo
>no Rita wearing maillot and Hamsa swiming tube
>no Favaro giving Amira swimming lessons
OVAs please MAPPA
Lucifer finally gets him pregnant and he gives birth to tiny little fallen angels, each of whom have different, assymetrical set of horns and wings. One red horn one blue, one white wing on one side, three black on the other.
>One red horn one blue, one white wing on one side, three black on the other.
I saw this on Onda's twitter. Does it mean he was the one who sketched the BD cover?
Thanks. Usually I don't worry about that stuff but the lack of official art for this show is killing me.
How did he get the bracelet off anyway. I'd imagine it'd be impossible tugging it off because they're impossible to remove.
