New Nisekoi is here.
Chitoge end full steam ahead.
Oh shit son is this some foreshadowing?
>Chitoge realizes she should drop the tsun
>Raku partially realizes his subconscious is a Chitogefag
This one chapter had more progress than half the fucking series. Now all that's needed is for one of the girls to tell Raku he's already on the Chitoge route after something happens to her again and he drops everything to help her, and some 200 chapters of both being unable to confess, so that some other guy shows up as Chitoge's fiancee and pushes Raku to fight him while he screams out that Chitoge is his woman.
With that Nisekoi will finally become the most clichéd harem of all time.
Is anyone else getting scared that this won't finish up in the next year or two? I really don't want to spend the rest of this fucking decade reading this garbage, but I have to stick with it for my waifu.
Ti be fair, that didn't make any sense and just felt like Komi being lazy. Chitoge never really blames Raku for Marika's Tomfoolery, so that bit of slapstick seemed out of character.
And I know, the easy counter is, "It still happened", which is fair. But the next most recent "example" is about 40 or 50 chapters prior to that one. So again, I ask, why do people hate her so much for things that happened so long ago, when she's clearly much different now?
>just felt like Komi being lazy
You mean like how he's been writing for three years?
People don't like Chitoge because she's a badly written generic tsundere that doesn't really do anything interesting other than "anta baka" and hit Raku. People also know she'll probably win but they don't like that fact. I know I sure don't.
>that doesn't really do anything interesting other than "anta baka" and hit Raku
Are we reading the same manga? Two instances of violence in the last 50+ chapters somehow equates to doing nothing but insulting and hitting Raku?
Ever since she realized she loved him, Chitoge's whole focus has been on trying to get him to fall for her while struggling with her inability to be honest to him about her feeligns.
Remember the box lunch chapter? Remember when she said, with her own mouth, that she'll get him to love her? Remember how in pretty much every chapter she's in she mentions her lack of honesty about her feelings?
I understand disliking a character, but your reasoning is based on an argument that's just inaccurate at the moment.
I love how she looks in that panel. The way the eyes are shaded and the exposed neck make her look rather fetching.
eh, not really. Chitoge's realized this before. She had tons of progress in the first 50 then stalled out.
This is very minor progress for Raku, who actually did have progress back then too. But admittedly "being around Chitoge is fun" is a step forward in his development from "I don't actually hate being around Chitoge" which was one of his last great developments on that front.
It sort of reminded me of a much less powerful version of Kyon's confession to himself in Disappearance. He can at least admit that being with her is fun. Now he just needs to realize why and this story can start to get to it's climax.
Marika shows the world again why she is best.
"I LOVE HIM!!!!"
This made me feel something I haven't felt in a long time.
Hopefully we'll get even more development in teh next chapter.
>inb4 Chitoge overhears Raku saying something about how he likes Onodera, thus dragging her into an incurable depression because she loves Raku but wants Onodera to be happy since they're close friends.
Thenwe'll see the original plot come back into focus, that being Raku slowly coming to realize that he's loved Chitoge all along (as per the one shot, where he says he wants a girl that he describes to be just like how Onodera is, but actually always liked Chito).
Or something like that. hard to call how this series will progress, if it ever does in a significant way.
Nope, I've been reading the manga since the beginning. Chitoge is just showing the "dere" side predictably now. She's not a good character. The only interesting ones are Tsugumi and Marika, because you don't know where their characters will go. Chitoge and Onodera are both stuck firmly in their archetypes.
>not predictable as hell
I'll give you Marika though
And this post contradicts what you said here >>119914802
First you say she doesn't do anything but being tsun now you say her being dere is predictable
Deep down we all know Chitoge is who he'll end up with, unless they just do a no closure whatsoever ending.
Now Raku has realised that he greatly enjoys her company soon it'll be that he loves her. ByeBye Onodera.
I'd like to point out that there is a difference between dere dere and inner turmoil. If she were firmly within the dere phase, she would be able to communicate with him, but would be embarrassed, much like how Onodera is.
As far fetched as this may sound, I'd say her current state is a lot more relatable than all of that.
She knows she loves him, but doesn't know if he feels the same way, so she's afraid of putting her feelings out there when there's the chance that he won't return them. I'd say that's distanced from the general tsundere archetype of bithcy->loveydovey
The pendant is completely broken so we'll never know who's key originally went inside it. It'll probably end with Raku realizing it's stupid to get so obsessed with something he can't even remember, and just go with Chitoge.
I'd prefer if the manga abruptly got cancelled and we never got an ending.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Raku give the pendant to Shuu's relative to fix it and stated that it would be ok in "a couple weeks"?
The whole story could've ended in less than 50-60 chapters and here we are still wondering what went wrong.....
>/a/ loves Nisekoi
If you think we're anything but captives you're mistaken. My waifu is from this series but I want it to crash and fucking burn and be forgotten, it's fucking awful.
Most people enjoy good harems
Marika doesn't know they are fake dating. Raku is saying she isn't always upfront with her (fake) love, but is more honest when she is upset. Essentially Marika, who is honest about her love, but repressive about everything else just heard Chitoge is her opposite.
>Queen of Hearts
Did Marika have the heart key? Is the plot moving along again?
