China fans are utterly displeased and disappointed with Fate works such as UBW and Priya, because those series are "not mature nor serious enough" and they also say that "Saber doesn't belong to this kind of romantic comedy setting!"
The title is "The difference between fans of Fate in China and Japan."
In this article, the journalist note as a mistake from TM turning Zero into an anime instead of making a stay night remake in 2011.
He also says that many fans first experience with Fate was Zero, not only in China, but around the world as well, so everything they know about the franchise is what they saw in Zero. Given this, many people were shocked after jumping from Zero to Prisma Illya and/or Unlimited Blade Works.
We can also read there that China fans thought the Zero anime was easy to understand and with great quality, so it was also easy to follow and it appealed not only to guys, but girls as well given its large male cast.
He ends the article saying that it's uncertain the future of the Fate franchise in China, but he will keep an eye on it.
This seems like the equivalent of some ANN clickbait shit making a similar article for American fans.
Secondary fans are irrelevant to the discussion of FSN right now anyways. Comparisons of completed adaptions against incomplete don't work.
>Zero is better than stay night
NEWS AT 11
Which Servant do you want to see in an alternate class in Grand Order? Caster Cu is already done, so Archer Heracles is my next choice.
> most of the characters are retarded
Zero was an actual bloody war, the likes of which the lore says the Wars historically had been.
Stay Night was a total half-assed war filled with highschoolers because the Grail reset about 50 years too fucking early and they were the only magi available for the Grail to pick from.
Although the Einzberns cheated and produced Ilya & prepared THE STRONGEST HERO for her since they clearly knew that the Grail War would reset itself quite soon after the aborted 4th War since their magic made the damn Grail and they knew how it functioned.
>he story in SN makes no godamn sense and most of the characters are retarded
>one fucking character
So what? At least the one retarded guy in F/Z actually died. But the retarded MC and his retarded bitches all get happy fucking endings (except for that cherry blossom ending--probably the best real ending that shit story has).
>not liking Prisma Illya
Even if it is possible, would it be any different? He can't set up a good temple, if one at all, and he doesn't have any other abilities. It would just be changing class skills, unless Item Creation boosted his projection skills somehow.
Lot of people will disagree.
But Prism is fucking SHIT.
Except for the 40+ bad endings. Where you die painfully.
Or the endings where Shirou inevitably becomes Archer and suffers for eternity doing the earth's janitorial work.
Or Mind of Steel, where you fuck over everyone that trusts you and turn into Kiritsugu v2.
It really is. Nasu is actively fucking over his real fans who've been asking for a real Illya route for years. Prsim is an insult to TM as a whole.
>Caster Shirou casts Unlimited Blade Works
>a Peerless Taiga is additionally projected and reinforced to wield every blade
>primsa illya objectively had the most sensible characters, except kuro, who is a psycho nigger bitch.
calling prisma shit is like calling the other FSN animus AIDS and key-autism AND cancer.
I hate how no one really gets Zero. The character weren't very mature, yet you see people going "MUH MATURE CHARACTERS".
Let me explain:
Kiritsugu was an immature asshole with shit ideals.
Kayneth was a showoff with no experience in actual combat and had a loveless waifu.
Ryuunosuke was just a murderous dumbass.
Tokiomi was Gilgamesh's bitch the whole time, doing jackshit.
Kariya thought that getting himself killed would save worm slut and that her mother would just love him for it.
Kotomine was bored and found out how to have fun.
Waver was the only sensible and most mature of the bunch.
They're all very flawed characters and that's what makes them good characters. But they're definitely not much more mature than a bunch of teenagers that act like teenagers.
