Is there a worse seiyuu than Yuki Kaji? I seriously have to drop the show if he is voicing the MC.
Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he's bad. He does a great job a lot of the time. I loved him as Yoto in Henneko.
He's typecasted as the same kind of character, too, and it's always annoying. I just can't NOT hear Kirito or Sora or some other cancer.
He may have bad roles, but I wouldn't call him a particularly bad seiyuu. Really, I wouldn't call any of the reasonably popular seiyuus bad. Popularity doesn't equal talent, but some modicum of talent is required to make it big.
Just because he voiced most of those shit character that doesn't make him a bad VA. He actually had a great range of voice, and doing pretty good job in his role.
At least hate something you understand and stop trying to fit in fucking retard.
Bad roles doesn't equate to having no talent. Someone's gotta do those shitty, hateable roles and he often fits the job. In fact, he does them so well that people like you start to hate him for it.
He's not bad. He's actually sort of good with the characters he usually deals with. Has a nice range, too, even if he seldom shows it.
Problem is, most of his characters are either annoying or generic. But still you can see him shine here and there.
He cannot sing for his life, that's also true.
>Who is the next guest of Tokyo Encounter?
Nana in February.
>can it be Y.Aoi again?
Kaji may not be a terrible VA but there's a nasal quality to his voice which makes it really grating to my ears. I can't stand his voice when he's a whiny shota, beta MC, or hotblooded screaming. His normal, more chill voice, however, is much more tolerable. His role in DRRR, for example, is great.
Well, I like nasal voices. Well, I may not like the too nasal ones, like Midorikawa's; but I don't dislike Kaji's voice. I like Ryouhei' Kimura's and Kouki Uchiyama's voices, even find them charming. And I like that girl who did Maka in Soul Eater whatever her name is, too: she hass a funny and cute voice.
I don't mind his voice and I'm actually glad they picked him for Johnny Joestar in ASB, it kind of fits and I can imagine him voicing Johnny in all his egoism and patheticness pretty well, and also doing a awsome job when he develops and stands up for what he believes. It makes me excited for the SBR anime
that will never happen.
I can't stand Kitaeri with slutty characters like Cerebrus and Karen but Ami, girl from Kyousogiga and the rest she's fine
Fucking this. He was fine as Kirito and Sora, but he did not fit the role of Arata in my opinion nor will he be a good fit for Souma in Shokugeki. Why is he so popular all of a sudden. He's in fucking everything now and he's not that great.
I don't remember who he voices in DRRR, but from all his roles the best one that I saw until now was his Johnny Joestar in the JoJo game.
He sounds pretty good when he is doing a more serious character.
I think he is okay, but another one that has been getting a ton of roles lately is Natsuki Hanae who voices Inaho, Kousei, and that creep in SAO just to name a few. He always voices losers of some sort and the voice is a combination of nasal + whiney and it's not pleasant. Tetsuya Kakihara is another one whose voice grates. Yui Horie is another popular one I can't stand, especially her overly genki roles.
>Told friend that Yui Horie only voices worst girls
>My face when it's true
