MAI AND CAJUN CONFIRMED TO SHOW UP IN BLAZBLUE CP EXTEND
She looks like this at the time of the games, so probably not.
Good to see that Mai is getting a strap too.
>Mai is voiced by Saori Hayami, while Cajun is voiced by Saki Fujita.
well dam, congrats to the Mai tripfriend, does Japan actually like Mai and Remix heart in general?
>Mai is still a girl.
>Meaning he never changes back into a guy.
They better at least do some shit where he separated into his girly personality in his female body and his ordinary self in his normal body.
I'm gonna be pissed if Remix heart was completely pointless and the guy never turns back to normal.
The core story of RH was about Mai's character arc
and her adaptation to and acceptance of her current form and her feelings for Taro, as well as overcoming the paranoid mentality her father tried to instill in her.I think the story had the right conclusion.
>voiced by Saki Fujita
Not sure how popular RH was. It didn't rank high on Amazon sales lists and Mai doesn't have much fanart on Pixiv.
Not yet. Let's hope that this news will spur the scanlator to finish the manga.
Do you seriously believe that? For example, Noel is literally the most popular ArcSys character. It makes perfect sense for Mori to produce lots of material featuring her. He's giving his customers exaclty>>120107347
what they want.
>Noel is literally the most popular ArcSys character
That makes me a sad panda.
Has he actually said that? I can undertand him liking his characters, but it seems excessive to say that she's his waifu. After all, his actions make good business sense. It's not as if he's a deranged waifufag cramming a hated character down his customers' throats like some people seem to imply.
>Mai is voiced by Saori Hayami
This is amazing news.
I'm sensing an incoming Bururaji special with her.
I'm not even more ecstatic that you just reminded me that Tsubaki is voiced by Imai. That's two of my favorite singing seiyuu in the same production.
Singing is one of Tsubaki's hobbies according to her profile, hopefully Mai has that as well so they can duet.
I don't know if there will be a duet (Imai and Kondou had one but that's because Noel and Tsubaki have a special theme https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rr__51WWHvs ), but I'll wager that Hayami will produce a vocal version of Mai's theme when she's made playable.
In the final chapter
Hazama killed Seifer. Mai lost the power of the Intermediary Grimoire because Seifer stole her fragment of Azure and she was left withe the Nameless Grimoire. The Crimson Grimoire that Seifer made with the Azure fragment was incomplete and of little use. Shiori got injured protecting Mai but survived. Mai recovered from her ordeal, fully accepted being a girl, saying that she's happy that way, and went on with her life alongside her friends. In the epilogue they cover Mai's interactions with other characters after the incident and her budding romance with Taro. She tries to confess to him but gets interrupted by Akane. Mai also talks with Chachakaka about her father and decides to become a person worthy of him, which gives her a motivation for the future.
Well that wrapped up nicely. Thanks, might have preferred a lesbo ending
I swear I'm not a yurifagbut that is pretty good end. So hard to find manga that does gender bending well.
Though it wasn't always the focus of the story, I did like the way Remix Heart covered the MC's adaptation to being a girl. At the start of the series Mai wore a badly fitting clothes, wasn't used to being around girls and didn't view herself at all as one (e.g. thinking along the lines "girls like X", "girls do Y", etc.). Later she adapted by first dressing properly, then getting comfortable around other girls and finally by starting to think of herself as one. I also appreciated the fact that Mai didn't do stupid things like being embarrassed to look at her naked body, asking people how to pee or freaking out over menstruation. These sorts of gags are used fairly often in such stories, but they're pretty cheap and make the MC look like an idiot.
And I also liked the fact that Mai reflected on her condition,
which eventually led to an existential crisis after she realized that she had fallen in love with a guy and agonized about whether she had changed so much that she was effectively a different person and that her original self had effectively disappeared. This soul-searching and questioning of herself made her eventual embrace of living as a girl seem more meaningful.
>Xbox One version a Mai Natsume strap.
NO ONE bothered complaining about this yet?
I guess the last chapters arent translated? I fucking want to see the ending so badly but I cant understand moonletters.
So now that we know Mai's and Cajun's voice actors is it too early to talk about what their theme music will be like? What their english voices will be like and their astral heats? I honestly feel like Mai will appear in Kagura's story. Cajun will appear in Bullet's and Kokonoe's stories and both will appear together in their own story.
I doubt that Cajun will ever be playable. It seems extremely likely that Mai will be though, maybe not in CPEX but almost certainly in BB4.
The game sells for $53 on Play Asia, which isn't a big sum. Though the fact it says that only early buyers of the game will get the strap suggests that this is a special offer that may not be available on that site. Even if I do not obtain it though, the fact they're producing material such as that for Mai means that they are interested in promoting her and that she will be a relatively important character.
Newest Studio Tiamat doujin, a very kind anon on /asg/ scanned it.
Was just about to paste the link. Enjoy.
>there is now time travel even in BB doujins
The manga will show nipples if they're covered by clothes. It's just exposed nipples that aren't shown.
Sumeragi, the illustrator of Remix Heart, did make a bunch of BlazBlue doujinshi before working on this manga. Here are some of them:
This gets me every time.
>Gender Bender story about a guy who slowly turns into a girl and feels he's becoming someone else
>By the end she feels confortable with the change but still feels she's the same person as before
I think I just realized why the title is Remix Heart and I feel pretty dumb for not realizing earlier.
Yeah. Though they also couldn't resist namedropping the title, and Cajun named their group the "Pretty Girl Detective Team Remix Heart" when they went off to look for grimoires.
Ps: It amuses me that their flag has the Azure Dragon (along with the White Tiger) on it.
Yeah, though one wonders, is incest less wrong if it's homosexual sex, given that you won't have horribly malformed births resulting from it eventually?
Then again, this isn't the thread for it (unless you go the "what happens if a genderbended person and its original have a child" debate, given that by force the genderbended person has at least one chromosome that differs from the original if not both)
