New chapter time. It's Niggastream, but I will dump it anyways.
The wanted poster is a guess at him aging, that dude shows up at the end of this chapter, he's one of the sealed demons and they were locked up 3000 years ago. Unless the human population are full out retarded they would have noticed Meliodas is seemingly immortal and unchanging after finding such an old rendering of him.
Otherwise, they weren't wanted until the great holy knight whathisface was murdered which was a few short years ago I think.
I don't even get why mel has such a retarded wanted poster. He was small ten years ago, so why did they made a wanted poster of adult Mel? They couldn't know how he would look ten years later.
This chapter confirms a few things:
>it was Mel's power that destroyed Danafor and wrecked vampires in Edinburgh after all, previously it was hypothesized that Danafor could've been destroyed by other demons
>Estarossa tries to mindfuck Elizabeth, he and Zeldoris have the same outfits, they are brothers, and both concerned about Mel, so they are obviously were an elite demon trio among the elites at some point and possibly direct demon king descendants
And that's all for today. Now to wait to RH for a good translation.
People can guess how people age, there are programs the fbi and such use for suspects or kidnap victims to assume how such people look years after, as this setting has magic and such they may have used that to guess what he would look like if he aged like a normal human, weird logic but fuck it's a story.
He's going to fuck Liz's brains out right near incapacitated Mel, isn't he.
Nakaba is a really amazing, I mean we got
>What will happen to Gowther now?
>Twigo's Brother's Group that are sheming something
>the camelot monster
>Mel's group in general
She was at a huge fucking disadvantage every time she fought seriously.
Here she was in human form against an opponent with sacred treasure, who could calculate her every move and eve hijack her golems.
Even Spaghetti King killed more "important" characters, so I can see them forgiving him.
It's not NTR and thanks to him, finally a childhood friend won the competition.
So what happened at Edinburgh?
>Ban got drunk and laughed his ass off as Diane and King struggled
>Sins probably went overboard with the time needed to complete the mission, long enough for Escanor to awaken the "large" form
>this form was strong enough to melt the entire castle (maybe his powers are solar powered or something like this? like anti-vampire or something?)
>Mel became mad a little and wrecked the last vampires with his hellblaze nuke
Man, i really want to read the full story.
Oh yes, Hendy will appear and i guess that he will be a Fraudrin's opponent along with Spaghetti Jr.
Really love how Nakaba turned his character progression. Now he's alone, hated by everyone, used by demons and probably hates himself.
This is some jojo shit right here.
So it seems two disasters happened there, probably related, the castle blew up from the inside from something, and Meliodas created that massive hole. Maybe related or not, but Elizabeth was from Danafor as well, wonder if her goddess clan lineage had something to do with it, perhaps a dispute about them?
The page before is rather curious, the castle didn't just explode, it seemingly melted and was forced outward, at least that's how it looks like otherwise it would be fragmented rubble.
>want to get into series
>fuck ti ill just watch the anime for now
>it probably wont catch up with the manga at all but what ever ill enjoy the ride
>shits getting cray cray
>get curious and decide to look up whats goigng on in the manga
>mfw i realize the anime is at the last arc before the current manga arc
This is gonna be agk all over again isnt it
I hope that Estarossa is Meliodas' true body or some other plot device. Really would like to see the Meliodas from the flyer being the actual thing and return before the end of the manga.
It seems they are simply brothers. But i would guess that all of them have adult forms, Estarossa is just un-sealed or plain older than other two.
Hope we will see adult Mel soon.
Don't know if this was posted or not but apparently this is Escanor in the omake
>Triskelion symbols all over his armor
OH SHIT SON
OH SHIT SON
"As Christianity came into the forefront in Ireland before the 5th century, AD, the triskele took on new meaning, as a symbol of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, therefore, also a symbol of eternity. Its popularity continues today as a decorative symbol of faith for Christians of Celtic descent around the world."
ESTAROSSA, ZELDORIS AND MELIODAS ARE ONE AND THE SAME
>It's not NTR and thanks to him, finally a childhood friend won the competition.
Chilhood friends have been winning left and right in this manga, see Griamor, Gil,
>demonic being that has multiple incarnations
We SMT now?
Looked back for the page, Dreyfus was the one who claimed this, No mention of the castle that exploded from inside out as noted >>120946673
I would think they would have recognized it as that guy's power if it was him, perhaps it was Elizabeth's goddess power exploding or something? Admittedly it's supposed to be a healing force, but that castle's shape >>120946656 looks more like it melted and was pushed outward rather than simply exploded, it would be a pile of rubble.
Danafor's symbol, also Elizabeth noting her birthplace.
They reminded me of this fabulous boss.
If you're gonna look for the page, do it properly
Estarossa is wearing Meliodas' Liones armor, so it's not surprising to see triskelions there. Nevertheless, Zeldoris has a triskelion in his outfit too, so it might be a theme for these brothers.
Forgot to add, Danafor Meliodas had triskelions too.
Diane looks magnificent in that motion sequence. I just love how Suzuki conveys and mixes up the depiction of action through various stylistic devices.
I don't like where this is going. The cut away from the conclusion seems more like it's intended to obscure whether Diane took a hit to the head than a measure to speed up the proceedings to show the aftermath.
On another note, I'm still pleased and somewhat impressed how much ground Suzuki manages to cover. While there's still cliffhangers that make me crave the next chapter, I also feel satisfied with the amount of stuff we get shown per chapter. Suzuki somehow strikes a nice balance between showing what's going on and showing juicy story tidbits that give you something to process/think about.
Both are seen waking up so I thought they saw each other in that dream. That said you're correct, it's not confirmed so far but it's fun to speculate.
>its been over a decade
>no one has bothered to take down the Edinburgh castle for reasons
>its a castle that has stood for 3,000 years
If it was that fucking important you think they would have built a new one
Keep in mind that the NnT scanlations, both by MS and RHS are overfiltered to an extent for various reasons, so linework tends to look a little less nuanced.
Though to be fair, this is a somewhat extreme case, it gets the general point across.
yfw this is another experiment on "increased strength through bonds of love" by Gowther. He sealed away Diane's memories of King, so he can make a before/after study of her powerlevel.
Fuck, you're right. Elizabeth knows about her feelings though, she'll help Diane remember her love for King.
SUPER EARLY SPOILERS
>He'll appear next chapter in Edinburgh and gets defeated by all the demons together without them trying too much.
>He survives, but what they don't know is that they fucked him in his weak form
>After the demons leave hendrickson appears and helps Escanor, because he thinks that Pride is some random guy and he feels guilty.
>Voila now we have another group (Hendy and Escanor) that Nakaba can use for his secret Keikaku's
>Bonus: Escanor never tells hendrickson who he is and always disappears when he is in his dangerous form.
Given that dryfus and hendy were pals with the sins years ago, hendy should know what escanor looks like in both forms.
Only gowther was unknown because he wore that armor all the time.
Maybe Estarossa is like Bleach's Stark and dived himself in 3 form and hove some sort of connection with the others. Liz could have seen him because of her druid powers connected with Miliodas' sould when she cured him.
So will Estarossa go full Griffith on Mel and rape Liz?
No need to go "SHOW ME TEH EVIDENCE, I'M GONNA CALL ALL OF YOU OUT AND BE REALITY CHECK INCARNATE!". People are guessing and extrapolating from how things were presented, nothing more. I can imagine either way, though love confessions and final pair ups are usually endgame material, so at this point in time, it's too early for things to clear up between Diane and King.
No, I'm them being three parts of one guy is no problem, but making it the same reason like for Starkk would be the worst. Like He was so lonely that he just split himslef into three beings. I swear that would be th edumbest think Nakaba could do.
Who knows, they kinda look alike. It's clear he'll be different from the other demons.
There could be many reasons, like trying to become human so he could be with his lover(Liz)
That's the glory of Octololi, we'll probably never know what's going on inside that mass of writhing tentacles, whether it be chaste or lewd.
She exists in a state of both sexualized and asexual and Nakaba will keep it that way, forever.
>birds aren't afraid of him
Why do i get the feeling that Mel is actually the most dangerous and powerful of trio and they are much calmer but have less power output than raging Mel?
All creatures started to flee the forest when Gowther's armor cracked and Dale became active.
Estarossa seems to be constantly in demon mode, but living beings ain't afraid of him.
So, you want this to be Wild Arms TV?
>all octololi said was 'mm-hmmm eh?'
>still managed to give me a raging boner regardless
Well, his mark only appeared after he woke up, so unless his adult appearance is a stage of unleashed demon power where the mark isn't visible like Hendricksen's Ash Demon mode, he wasn't letting any power out while asleep.
What about Meliodas face on this page?
Maybe he can understand Gowther because he could disappear if it were merged with other ones, and Estarossa Zeldoris. Gowther's quote hit too close to home for him. That reminds me FF9 btw.
I want this manga to get a satisfying finale, and then get turned into a full fletched JRPG made by Mistwalker. In collaboration with Nakaba naturally. Toriyama as a co-artist.
Directed by Sakaguchi himself, music by Uematsu.
I could also see NnT get turned into a DMC/Darksiders-esque game. You choose/unlock your sin and depending on the skillset, you access different areas, fight the enemies in different way and traverse the terrain in different ways. Mel for instance can be a heavy hitter with Royal Guard mechanics to counter shit. With Ban you go full Trickster Dante, with Gowther you turn enemies into minions and have to control them in a smart way to beat each other up, etc.
ikr? All of the MeliEli doujins I've seen previewed on pixiv have ugly/subpar art and story which disappoints me a lot. the R-18 Meliodas tag hurts me so much, all of the straight stuff is weird and poorly drawn while the homo stuff is lacking. Step it up R-18 artists!
To add to the discussion of the chapter, excuse me if this has been discussed when it was announced, but is anyone seeing the connection with Gowther not taking the pills Merlin gave him and what he was doing to Guila plus the fight with Diane? I don't believe Gowther would do that to her, from seeing how he was with the kid who took him in. Yeah he's curious about human nature, but those pills must have been to stop or treat something Gowther is supposed to repress no? I think the armor was used like the pills, since it controlled magical energy and he was never seen without it. And in this chapter, he says that "he doesn't want to disappear". I don't think he means literally disappearing, I think it's a "don't let the real me disappear and get consumed by what I'm suppressing" thing. I'm not one of those "GOWTHER DID NOTHING WRONG" people, I'm just curious as to what his character is.
pixiv sure likes king getting molested
BanKing is really popular with the Japanese people. I don't feel it since when I get really into a series, I try to respect the relationships the author (unless it's complete shit). Plus I like BanElaine and KingDiane more. I do enjoy a cute and flustered King though haha
All hail the Queen.
She's still hurt from his last attack. And it could cause the trauma that would revert her memories back, especially given that memory manipulation is Gowther's specialty.
It is stated by Gowther that she becomes considerably weaker. She probably still weights more than a normal human, but not by much.
I love the fact that ten commandments seem to be not an absolute evil but just a group of people with strong powers and possibly not a baseless hatred towards the other clans. They could potentially make a good allies, especially if Mel will be able to reason with his brothers.
Nah, we're going to get random acts of evil in the next few chapters.
Only annoying thing is that there's been 4-5 sub plots opened at once and it's painful waiting for weekly chapters when it's like this.
>ten commandments seem to be not an absolute evil but just a group of people with strong powers and possibly not a baseless hatred towards the other clans
There's that one edgy guy though. Zeldoris aside the rest seems to be chill.
>next episode in the anime is First Casualty
>those massive-scale attacks
>it might actually have some budget because the last 2 were mediocre/QUALITY
>all dat incoming action and being able to relive the Infiltration arc
it's a good time to be a taizaifag
>it might actually have some budget because the last 2 were mediocre/QUALITY
anyone trying to play the mobile game? they've been continuously extending maintenance, this is the current error/notice that shows up. I don't even know what exactly the game is since I didn't check the description when I downloaded it. I just hope they get it running before I'm dead
B-But every now and then we get some decent episodes, r-right?
Beings are from another species so powerful that they probably aren't bound by human morality or completely disregard humans as moral agents. That is if they aren't completely evil. We'll see how it Nakaba wants it to go.
is it? I was playing on getting it along with Youkai watch since I have a Japanese 3ds(although I really should try to sell it to get a jp n3ds before mine is completely undesirable)
Oh shit, just noticed the birds.
Perhaps he's not a bad guy after all, or rather, he's more like a force of nature than a D&D aligned being.
So the guy here was Estarossa all along.
Nobody said there wasn't something better than sacred treasure weapons, anon.
Remember: The optional super dungeon tends to hold weapons better than the fabled ones from the story.
Yes, found them too. Compare these to volume ones >>120950834 and RHS >>120950785
Nakaba has done golf, martial arts and skating manga before, and it sure pays off now. This page is probably a Rising Impact reference too.
Diane has the problem that Thor and Hercules had in early Avengers comics: She's an absolute fucking powerhouse monster. They can't have her struggling against random jackoff of the week because they don't want her ending up as the jobber, they want her to be presented as actually strong. So they need to do something to nerf her in all her fights until they actually get a chance to take on something big. Like how shit would always fall on top of Thor's hammer or Herc would get lost and wander around for an arc until finally meeting up with the others fighting the big bad and kick his ass.
Mel is also a monster, but he's MC so he can get matched up with the big bad one-on-one and beat them just fine. You can't have Diane soloing big bads, she's not the MC.
Shit taste alert
No need to lash out just because this luscious man makes you unsure about your sexuality.
More idol spinoff content, from a card game it seems.
NARIYAMANU AI O SAKEBU YO
>Gowther suspiciously posing his hands as Diane reaches out towards him
>Diane stunned, thanks Meliodas like she used to
>rubbing her head a page later
I don't want it to be true, but if so King is the most suffering character ever.
Diane still likes Meliodas, anon. Even if she doesn't "like-like" him anymore, there's no reason why she has to distance herself away from him. Really, all she'd have to do is stop flirting.
She's not even blushing like she used to when he showed care for her and there really isn't any reason why Gowther would erase her feelings of King, considering how precise his ability can be. It's just a baseless theory working off your fears, like the theory of Gowther being the "traitor" and faking Merlin's involvement in Meliodas getting knocked out. Or Escanor being the traitor since he's the last Sin yet to be introduced.
Meliodas is Lugh
Lugh was the grandson of the God Balor and had two brothers. When he killed Balor, Balor's corpse dropped to the Earth leaving a massive crater. Lugh, in mythology, is described as a man who is forever a boy, meaning he had the appearance of a young boy forever. With Estarossa and Zeldonis maybe being his two brothers, it looks like it just might be true
Arthur's anime design. For whatever reason he has brown hair instead of gold
It's damn impressive just how much work he does by himself (with his wife occasionally helping). Pen and Ink style is slow as fuck and he almost never uses filler except for solid black.
What's the basis for this? There hasn't been a single mention of Lugh, and Balor was only mentioned offhand in reference to the scouter Merlin created. Lugh's brothers were also killed at birth and they were gods, not demons.
So when Ban and Escanor's sacred treasures are shown in the manga, do you think they will be what they were originally, or do you think they may have been retconed to what they were in the anime op?
They were retconned to the anime version in the Edinburgh chapter. It's a shame, because Escanor's spear looked way cooler than the comically big axe and it would have been cool seeing Ban use a rapier.
>They were retconned to the anime version in the Edinburgh chapter
Now that I think about it, Ban was using a 3 section staff in Edinburgh, I honestly didn't think about it becuase he used one in like every other appearance he made.
but I dont recall seeing Escanor's XBAWKS HUEG! axe.
It hasn't been translated, but some of us here do understand some moon speak.
Escanor is wearing clothes like 5 sizes to big for him, and mentions wanting to end the fight before sun up.
Its obvious he transforms in some way.
The rest of the sins didn't even know what Gowther looked like outside his armor, and It was heavily implied that the city of the dead was the first time any of them but Mel (and technically Diane) had seen King in his true form.
There's no guarantee any of the sins, or anyone for that matter, knows what Escanor looks like.
True but he has had that sort of weapon since his time with Elaine.
I wouldnt be surprised if his weapon was confiscated by the castle and stored there while he stayed in the prison
The weapon he's wielding in the Edinburgh chapter is most likely his Sacred Treasure. Given that it's design is much more ornate than the 3-section staff he picked up during the Castle Invasion arc, the current weapon he's wielding is likely not his Sacred Treasure.
You can really say "worst" when they're all totally great. Really, been a long time since I didn't see all of the protagonists being so based. Tough I would choose Mel in last for a ranking. And he's still way better than most nekketsu MCs.
I would TOTALLY forgive Gowhter if he just fucking stopped with the DBZ powerlevels. Like, holy shit, he has been spamming them since they've been presented, it's like he's doing it on purpose to piss us off.
Gee, thanks a lot A-1. I'm about halfway through the episode and in awe how cheapish more than half of the scenes look in this ep. Makes me rage when I see how much effort they put into ViolinAidsDrama compared to NnT. Not sure if I like Arthur's voice, but I can't really focus on him when I constantly get distracted by how half-assed the episode looks so far. Makes me really "look forward" to the rest of this action packed climax arc, full of high motion sequences.
I think the comparison still is a fitting showcase to remind >>120950616 that you shouldn't really judge Suzuki's art as being more or less refined, based on scanlations that are made from magazine scans of questionable quality. I have some physical copies of the raw tanks and the art looks magnificent in print.
Diane vs Gowther is an excellent example of how smooth and dynamic NnT fights are. Perfect choreography, cool attacks, shame it wasn't longer but when Ten Commandments will step in, we will see really great fights for sure, especially Mel's swordsmanship.
Gowther's monologue makes much more sense in RHS version, as well as Mel's reaction on it. It looks like ceasing being himself happens for him too, so he kinda understands how Gowther feels.
>Oh..Captain. You came...for me.
Me: Please don't let her have feelings for the captain anymore. This sounds suspicious. I was originally thinking people who thought she'd been made to forget stuff were exaggerating.
>Escanor's XBAWKS HUEG! axe
It's also there, being carried by Meliodas.
Doesn't this basically make Escandor a giant liability to the team?
everyone else in the sins can just function at any point of the day, but Escanor is like, weak as shit until sunrise
Ten Commandments instantly recognized his power when they've looked at that huge-ass hole. He's probably unique in that he cannot control himself in demon mode like his brothers, but gets an immense power output, far higher than anything other demons are capable of.
It looks like they weren't using him constantly and King is even scared of him. He's sort of a last resort weapon which is used when they are facing truly powerful enemies.
Judging by how Edinburgh was blown the fuck out, he's really strong in his transformed state.
Givent that King was able to hold off the armies of men with his crazy ass magical powers, long before he was in the sins, or had his sacred treasure, he doesn't NEED it per say.
King just sucks at close range combat, he needs to keep his enemies at a distance.
So Escanor is the teams trump card?
-Meliodas: General fighter with strength lean
-Ban : General fighter with speed lean
-Diane: Tank + spike damage
-Gowther: Archer + mental status effect
-King: Offensive mage
-Merlin: Support mage
-Escanor: LOL WHUT WAS THAT! trump card
King just summons him and Diane is like "you have a dog!?"
Its not really that big a deal given that even in the manga the sins didn't know that Oslo was King's dong until then anyways.
Demon mode Meliodas is a real trump card, as it possibly was in Edinburgh. Escanor is still very powerful, but kinda hard to control, he's more like a berserker of a group, it seems. Really hope that he will turn out to be some kind of a reversed vampire.
Considering that there doesn't seem to be any material container for Herritt, Gowther's Sacred Treasure may be built into his body like the Balor Power Eye. Gowther may be limited to those smaller, finger-sized arrows when Herritt isn't unleashed?
Also, anyone got any theories on what King's Disaster really is? I feel like it's just controlling natural phenomena, going by how he tried to use it on Cain to trigger his rheumatism and since all of Chastiefol's forms are just King basically 'activating' one of the natural functions of the Sacred Tree. I'm not sure how the plant control and levitation fit into it, but considering Elaine and Helbram could do it, I'm guessing it's a separate deal from Disaster. Like Hellblaze is for Meliodas.
>Also, anyone got any theories on what King's Disaster really is?
Given how anime rectons such as the location of Liones, and Ban and Escanor's sacred treasures, have made it into the manga as canon, I wouldn't be surprised if King's disaster turns out to be what it was in the anime also.
If you remember, Elaine describes King's disaster during his fight with Guila as "the more he fights to protect someone, the stronger he becomes" or some shit like that.
>"the more he fights to protect someone, the stronger he becomes"
That wasn't a discription of disaster specifically, but about king himself, so it doesn't explain us in any way what his power disaster is or not.
>If you remember, Elaine describes King's disaster during his fight with Guila as "the more he fights to protect someone, the stronger he becomes" or some shit like that.
I think this refers the his general strength.
Similar to the increase of strength of Ban and Melodias during their fight as Gowther has observed.
Er, no, that was also in the manga and it was describing King being stronger when he fights to protect others rather than, say, when he fights to get revenge. Elaine was commenting on King's nature, not his power.
Actually I was wrong, Gulia claims King's ability disaster relates to his ability to evoke the powers of the sacred tree.
So disaster is likely "the power to manipulate nature" as suggested.
Because "someone" is a fictional character in a series with suffering aplenty and has a history of ill-focused affections (at the expense of a poor little guy who gets shat on by destiny at every opportunity) and just came out of a battle against a master mind-manipulator whose current goal it is to determine how affection and friendship can influence powerlevels and where we haven't seen the penultimate clash of aforementioned fight.
Sure, sometimes a duck is just a duck and Diane may be unharmed, but you don't have to act like the priest from Erik the Viking and yell "I don't see anything!" when there's a reasonable possibility that something may be amiss.
I think it's just telekinesis.
King isn't a real fairy, he flies using telekinesis. This naturally allows him to wield the sacred treasure which would normally be too heavy for him. He also mentioned trying to give old man Cain aneurysm during the Byzel tournament, which is probably him using telekinesis to manipulate the blood flow.
Also when he demonstrated how sacred treasures are supposed to amplify the potential of the sins, he lifted the water from the pond using telekinesis. This makes sense - his power is pretty weak, but using it to control a heavy weapon that can transform is pretty powerful (the treasure's "arrow rain" form isn't something anyone else than King could wield).
>No one was acting like that brosif.
>I honestly dont get why >>121002090
>it's like you don't even try to understand what you read >>120946667
>no? where the fuck are people getting this from? >>120951296
Not him, but >>121003611 and this page implies otherwise.
for all we know King and Elaine left the fairy forest as Kids and some humans jumped them and stole their wings for money, we know they were trying to do that shit to Helbram.
It would explain why King distrusted humans so much in the first place.
My theory is that some strong asshole fairies got bored of protecting weak asshole fairies so they snatched a couple human kids to make them eternal guardians of the Forest. Or they could make some deals with peasants like:"I'll give you that and in return you will give me something you don't expect to see back home".
Or maybe he just didn't want to show off his abilities. If you've forgotten he tried to be discreet about defeating Cain.
So, assuming Mel, Zel and Esta are a single being divided into 3 entities, what are the chances of them remerging to face off against the final adversary? And will mountain ranges get shattered in the process?
>what are the chances of them remerging to face off against the final adversary?
If that's the case then the merger is guaranteed.
Remember: Xenogears is one of Nakaba's inspirations.
>This naturally allows him to wield the sacred treasure which would normally be too heavy for him.
But that's not how his ability has been described. He draws out the qualities of the Sacred Tree.
The moss that grows to protect it. The bio-luminescence. The ability to petrify. The healing pollen. He's not just levitating them. Telekinesis doesn't relate to those things at all. All fairies have shown the ability to float in the air, and King, Elaine, and Helbram are the only 3 fairies who've shown they can use their telekinesis on plants (I wouldn't even call it telekinesis; it's more like complete control over plant matter).
Excalibur is namedropped in the chapter Merlin appears.
>or other Arthurian elements?
In Rising Impact there were Lancelot+Gawain as main characters, and that was 17 years ago. Expect them to appear in the sequel after Ban and Meliodas are happily married to their waifus. Nakaba loves Arthurian legends too much to let it pass now that it suits the setting better.
Someone once amusingly noted that Arthur's life in English mythology was pretty cool, until medieval French fanfic writers came and added Lancelot to his saga, who then goes and NTRs Arthur out of his waifu, after which all goes to shit for Arthur.
I wouldn't need much from a NnT JRPG.
A classic, slower and turn based battle system a la Dragon Quest would suffice. So long I can move and explore an interesting world.
But no random encounter please
Disaster is probably based upon Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream.
Mentions how the world went apeshit due to the Fairies Rulers merely argueing over what to do with a changeling boy they took in.
Long passage is long.Sorry.
"Therefore the winds, piping to us in vains,
As in revenge, have suck'd up from the sea
Contagious fogs; which falling in the land
Have every pelting river made so proud
That they have overborne their continents:
The ox hath therefore stretch'd his yoke in vain,
The ploughman lost his sweat, and the green corn
Hath rotted ere his youth attain'd a beard
The fold stands empty in the drowned field,
And crows are fatted with the murrion flock;
The nine men's morris is fill'd up with mud,
And the quaint mazes in the wanton green
For lack of tread are undistinguishable:
The human mortals want their winter here;
No night is now with hymn or carol blest:
Therefore the moon, the governess of floods,
Pale in her anger, washes all the air,
That rheumatic diseases do abound:
And thorough this distemperature we see
The seasons alter: hoary-headed frosts
Far in the fresh lap of the crimson rose,
And on old Hiems' thin and icy crown
An odorous chaplet of sweet summer buds
Is, as in mockery, set: the spring, the summer,
The childing autumn, angry winter, change
Their wonted liveries, and the mazed world,
By their increase, now knows not which is which:
And this same progeny of evils comes
From our debate, from our dissension;
We are their parents and original."
Speaking of which, it seems I wasn't alone in thinking that King and Elaine are changeling kids (or rather, the kids changelings are exchanged for); human children who were probably suffused with the power of the fairies.
Well, thing with the Sins is that all have some form of enhanced life.
Meliodas is millennia old.
Diane being a giantess is probably about 1000 years old
King being a fairy has the same applied.
Gowther seems indestructible.
Ban is immortal
Escanor potentially being a Vampire speaks for itself.
Question is, what does Merlin have?I remember people pointing out it might be her in the Anime when the Holy War was shown.
Here's pseudo Meliodas/Estarossa and Merlin.
She probably is ageless because magic.
>Anime spoils the demon hierarchy
When was this?
All I recall seeing is a un-tiered swarm of demons attacking an equally un-tierd swarm of various creatures. with only the big boss's of each side being displayed in any sort of prominence.
Nakaba said fairies can live up to 1000-1500 years so King is really old even by his race standards.
Nyaa, can't find it now but it had crunchy's version from chapter 1 to 58. Then there's horriblescans for individual chapters, but not all. It's worth it for its advice corner, not so much for translations.
Yep, but unless you have an account you won't be able to read anything except the latest chapter.
Which is bullshit, I think. Hawk with strength of 30 was able to break a thick steel door and black out a soldier with a single hit. Merlin with strength of 70 should be more than twice as physically powerful. Yet I doubt she can punch a hole in a wall (unless she is a kung-fu mage like Dr. Strange).
I like that Nakaba used power levels for Gowther's character development. He noticed that Ban's and Mel's levels are jumping like crazy because of their feelings and that's why he started experimenting on Guila in the first place.
This whole episode is QUALITY as fuck.
Because he lacks emotions and forced to judge about everything through the calculation. Not just power, he measures the exact distance to anything in meters and counts the exact time between events too.
He doesn't lack emotions, we can clearly see that he has them, he just doesn't UNDERSTAND emotions, so he resorts to quantifying everything he sees or does into objective hard facts, such as numbers.
Looking at the next episode name it will probably end here, so King Gaiden in two weeks.
