New chapter is out, yo.
I don't know, I'm liking the balance of Zuko's team. If I were betting my money would definitely be on them.
Here's your weekly cliffhanger. He loves these doesn't he.
One of the many things GoT and Sifu Hotman have in common. Screwing with MC's who are way above their level.
Also I like the TL notes so I'll post them too.
> show mind guy getting ready to pull something in Ch 28
> he's nowhere to be seen in Ch 29
They can't harm each other correct?
So how is he going to use his powers to stop Deku?
Now, I want Captain falcon = Deku
And Uncle sam = All might.
That's some mighty edge right there. Good thing only his name is Edgy
[Screams internally] vs [Screams externally]
>Knows he fucked up
>Takes responsibility because he knows he is carrying his team mates' dreams
How based can one MC get?
He clearly has One For All on stand by for his entire forearm, unless Todoroki has some kinda hidden flameshield or something, his upper body will fly off, along with the rest of his team.
If Deku punches air a la Detroit Smash to create an air blast he can probably dislodge Todoroki's headbands without harming him, but that will also be enough to break down his horse formation, which is against the rules.
So yeah, can't wait to see how Horikoshi will play this.
Why didn't Deku just sweep up a fuck ton of dust when he saw everyone gunning for him
it would, 1. Lower light Level buffing the Shadow, 2. reduce the ability of the remaining team to find him or hit him, 3. depending on the composition of the dust (what % is organic) it would seal the electric and Fire abilities
He didn't because he can't afford to get hurt early at this point of the tournament, but now the situation has taken a turn for the desperate maybe that's what he'll do the next chapter.
> Teased in the previous chapter
> In the color spread despite doing shit so far
Doflamingo is taking this event guaranteed.
There is never enough All Might in these threads these days.
I finally figured out who this guy reminds me of
He wouldn't need to touch anything, and I think he is at the point where he can at least wave his arms around without them become dislocated.
but it is too late now, he is going to rip the other guy's arm off and take the headband back.
It is kinda like all the gifs of that Sea Hawks Player on the sideline during the final play you can see the exact time both he and Todoroki realize where everything went wrong
The teachers will stop them wont they?
Jesus it's like this manga is made of pure, concentrated hype.
It would depend on how the physics of one for All works
If it is the physical Ideal of Strength then he could in theory strengthen the inter-molecular forces of the air and his arm.
but we just don't know how One for All works, beyond it can be passed down, and it manifests as massive strength
But much cooler and with teachers stopping both of them. If they both went all out they'd kill each other.
>Todoroki gets crushed
>Deku gets burned to death
I think anon is saying it'd help his arm bear with extreme temperatures, allowing Deku to reach past the barrier of extreme cold that would otherwise deter him from grabbing at the headband.
>no one stops either of them
>deku doesn't destroy todoroki's arm because he doesn't go full power against other people (including and demonstrated on Nomu)
>deku gets some minor burns but nothing serious because todoroki's fire power was a reaction, and he turns it off as soon as he knows wtf deku's trying
>it's assumed by all observing that no lethal force will be used because by highschool everyone knows how to use their quirks, and a decent portion of the participants at this point are training to be heroes, who don't grievously injure or kill people for no reason
Quick reminder that after My Hero Academia begins simulprinting in Viz's Shonen Jump, scanbro is delaying scanslations to give them first dibs.
Like this series? Consider getting a subscription. It's only $20 right now.
I don't know if I'll take the plunge, but that doesn't mean you guys shouldn't/
>paying 20 dollars to read one series.
Ya no. I havent read sumo but manga like nisekoi and SnS dropped in quality. Hxh is kill, toriko is bad, blech is whatever, op is fine and has it's scans on wednsday. Assclass is ass.
There is nothing that makes it worth paying 20 dollars to read one chapter.
Is the girl with the orange hair that appears in their first page with the side ponytail the same person on the other page with the hukled out left arm that is getting shocked?
wasn't All Might oddly particular on one of the first chapters that his wasn't a quirk, but a "power"? i feel like copying all for one and blowing himself up would be a bit darker than this manga's going. trying and failing to copy all for one would bring up some intrigue and possibly the western comic "super hero alias" drama, feeling a bit more at home.
Impossible, Shouji's quirk naturally makes him better. Without One for All there's no way any normal human can stand up to a guy with 650kg worth of grip strength alone, god knows his punching power and speed.
all quirks aside, probably. but if momo knows anything about CQC fighting, she could turn an unarmed fight to her advantage pretty quickly. And obviously some quirks like tokoyami, todoroki, or brick hardmeat can really invalidate traditional CQC
Do you think the military in BnHA verse have superheroes at their disposal? Or do all superheroes just do freelance shit?
I would really love to see some civil wars
not allowed to attack with the malicious intent of breaking up a horse. i.e. not to harm or just knock them down. if you weren't allowed to attack at all, the allowance of quirks would be pointless to a lot of competitors
as was pointed out, shouji has crazy grip strength, even given that that seems to be the product of gripping with three hands at once, having over 200kg grip strength in one hand is fucking strong. toting around mineta might not be a big deal, but running around with frog on his back like it's nothing shows he's a brick house even without the tentacle arm things.
Well yes, hence 'without strength-boosting quirks'. Even if it's not his quirk as it's been spelled out, being a huge-ass monster dude certainly is.
Actually, from the way he spoke to Mineta, I get the sense that he's a remarkably friendly guy, he's just incredibly intimidating/weird looking. Does he even have a mouth on his face anymore?
It isn't. Read the chapter again, Shouji uses his real hand instead of his tentacles when he pulls 650kg. The device wouldn't even have room to fit in additional tentacles anyways.
So he's over 3x as strong as you think he is.
>not gonna use fire, Fire Lord dad is watching
>oh shit I fucked up, fire help me
Deku is toned, he's not the strongest or the toughest. All Might gave him a tailored work out plan to improve his overall fitness in space of 10 months is all.
Read the physical ed chapter and you can see Bakugou is more athletic than the current Deku even when using his old middle school record.
He can probably move his arm much faster while avoiding deflection and adjusting for the movement of the band. Or he could be doing the same air displacement attack that All Might used in the first chapter or two.
A team that intentionally breaks apart a horse gets disqualified. An third team may be able to retrieve it, though.
If it came to it, Deku could probably get everyone disqualified by knocking everyone down.
If the horseman can be in the air then they just had to team up with gravity chan so she can make deku light and then just tie him to a rope and have him float very high with one guy at the bottom running around.
No one in first year could possibly not shit their pants if they knew Deku the Stronk was coming at them. Give GOT a break, it's no longer just a game anymore his life is at stake.
>not gonna use fire, fire dad I hate is watching
>Deku comming at him causes such an oh fuck reaction that he uses fire
I wouldn't say I'm rooting for him, but it would be interesting if Bakugou does end up winning this event simply due to entering full tilt spergmode and making fireworks rain across the stadium.
However I'm not sure how that would allow him to win.
Why? Bakugou has finally mad fucking calmed down.
