Where were you when Touhou's popularity was taken over by Kancolle?
You're cute. Kancolle is just the latest fad, and will die just as fast as it surged in popularity. 2hu will stay.
2hu > Scatbotes.
Kancolle shall fall.
Touhou shall forever remain the strongest!
I want to fuck her feet so bad
Delusional touhoufags, with or without kancolle, 2hu is dying. People always use the excuse that it just shifted from Comiket to Reitaisai but the truth it that Reitaisai numbers are falling too. It's way past it's prime.

I know this is talker point, but if it has about 10k then it's doing better than most of the anime this season. You can call it moderately successful to be honest. But it wasn't as big as people told it to be (like 30K+ or some shit).
Candy crush : I must move some stupid candies around to pass the level. Need to think about the moves and planning.
Kancolle : RNG out of the ass. Zero critical decision asked to the player, near-zero action needed, the sorties are all passive.
It's a sad moment when I'm to the point of complimenting candy crush about asking some brain power to the player.
If something ever wishes to surpass Touhou it would need to surpass it in all the things that make it huge, this being fanart, h-doujins, non-h doujins, fan music, doujin games and probably some other shit.
Kancolle was never about the game. It was always about the fanbase creating character interactions with some faint guidelines provided by the game. Also, historical references: for you, it may not matter, but there's a lot of people interested in that. And there are plenty of historical references and alternative history to go around for a while.
You bet not even a quarter of the Touhou fanbase plays the game, much less bothers with honing their skills and beating it at the highest difficulty. Touhou was never a hit because of its amazing gameplay. It was because of the character interactions. The same as Kancolle.
In the end it all comes down to whatever franchise has more porn.
Reminder that we are living in the age of the Three Fandoms
There are 2version of kancolle vol1 tracked by stalker.
Both of them are ranked higher than 90% of current airing anime.
Just cause it isn't doing mega number like LL doesnt mean it is a failure. The show is done by a shitty studio like diomedea and the budget is like shit with splice CG.
They are basically laughing to the bank considering they sold 10k+ on brandname alone.
But Im@s was long lasting in comparison. Even though was overshadowed by Touhou and whatever was popular that time (Vocaloid, Meguca), they stand firm. Even now with Kancolle and Love Live, they manage to stay on and have surprisingly strong fanbase.
Love Live already surpassed Idolmaster at Comiket, won't be long before its fandom outgrows Idolmaster entirely.
It's funny really.
It's literally the same shit so the fandom just jumps ships because it's fresher. I can just imagine the grease nips that changes waifus from some Idolmaster slut to a Love Live slut.
Then you're a reasonable person.
People love to be part of a fandom and act as though they're part of an elite club and jerk off to the thought that their respective content/base material is better.
Only the cashgrabber artists jumped ship which affected all fandoms not just touhou
Cancerkolle is basically preventing doujins from everyones favourite anime because every hentai artist out there is busy shitting out shitadmiralselfinsert with his shitgenericplainlookinggirls from Cancerkolle settings one after the other.
One fandom to rule them all, one fandom to find them,
One fandom to bring them all and in their dark rooms bind them.
Candy crush, and most bejeweled clones, have some clever aspects in level design, score counting, and finding marketable aspects. The stage designs are in particular unique for a game like that, and it requires critical thinking.
I've played Kancolle. It's literally "assemble a fleet, click a button." Hell, if it was world of warships I'd love it. If it was fucking FF style menu combat that'd be okay. But you literally do nothing but click the "send out" button, and that's it.
>You bet not even a quarter of the Touhou fanbase plays the game, much less bothers with honing their skills and beating it at the highest difficulty. Touhou was never a hit because of its amazing gameplay. It was because of the character interactions. The same as Kancolle.
Not quite. 2hu had no substance as a game. Any interesting character the games' cast had were given by the fans, who played the games and made up shit about the girls. And this, in turn, attracted secondaries who might not have played the games, and they create their own content, and so on. But you need that critical mass of loyal fans FIRST.
Kadokawa decided they want their own 2hu, but less grassroots and more cashgrab. They're pumping literally millions of dollars into it in the hopes that it'll ignite a new trend. Top-tier VA, amazing art, who cares if it has no substance, fans still gobble it up.
Meanwhile, some drunk dude with shitty art keeps on making shmups on his Friday nights.
It's funny because all you 2huniggers know nothing about 2hu or Kancolle. You don't even know anything about 2hu outside of what has trickled into the English-speaking fandom. You are as ignorant and useless as stillborn babies.
>"assemble a fleet, click a button."
>But you literally do nothing but click the "send out" button, and that's it.
That's because it's a management game, not an action game. The focus is on the assembly. If you really think you can slap anything together and brute force any map then you must have played it for all of five minutes.
And you're delusional if you think KanColle was made with the intent of becoming the next Touhou. It was just another crappy browser game that got stupidly lucky. The lack of budget still shows with how they need a lottery to keep the servers from exploding. Those top-tier VAs had to voice tens of characters apiece, and those amazing artists were pulled off of pixiv. It's taken them two years to make a crappy anime and vita port. Kadokawa hasn't even tried.
Here's a series based on WW2 thats better than Kancolle.
Here's a shmup thats better than Touhou.
Isn't there a self-insert in Kancolle?
One guy who commands a bunch of girls, it's like the perfect environment for pathetic self-insert waifu fags. No surprise that its popular with the general otaku populace who has shit taste.
Anon shitposting aside.
Where the fuck can you buy those? I have looked everywhere but the only dual image version I can find is the non nude one and I know the nude version exists.
