The first two story arcs are not engaging are pretty apathetic. You'll have to stay until episode 5-6 for the mood to kick in.
Then S2 sucks, the SnH manga is a good sequel by the chara designer of the show.
She just couldn't take no for an answer.
Dude generates electricity with his body. A high calorie diet probably increases his overall energy output. Magic powers or not, energy has to come from SOMEWHERE. Energy can't be created or destroyed.
Hei's sister Bai, used her molecular powers to become one with Hei, giving him her powers. Her payment was sleeping. She forever sleeps inside Hei, permanently paying for the abilities.
at least i think that's correct
>trying to use logic to justify contractors abilities
Or maybe using a contractor's power has a higher demand on his body because he's a human using a borrowed power.
Fucking bullshit what happened to that mask in game tho
if only that was the way that mask looked in Duck Souls 2
That was just a rumour, by the way, and one that started here. There never was a confirmed reason for the design change, but you can easily just chalk it up to 'we changed our minds', as very often happens in that kind of creative process.
too bad shes stuck in a season that didn't exist
His huge Appetite is a result of 2 "people" existing in hei'S body. Bai didn't just transfer her power, she most likely transferred a part of her(consciousness or whatever) into hei as well.
Best woman is another matter though.
Chinese Electric Batman.
I literally just finished S1 today and now I'm downloading S2. That was quite the ride.
Just understand that beyond the disappointment that S2 is focusing on Suou, it also went out of his way to strip it from much of what made S1 enjoyable, also the ending is particularly stupid as you said.
Would you keep watching Code Geass if Lelouch was now a blind hobo and Nunnally was suddenly turned into the antichrist? Not like R2 wasn't a piece of shit already but it at least kept the very things that held interest at heart.
