May the jury please deliver the verdict?
Aria a best
Then may you tell me which of the two anons was right on pic related? I really don't know, but I don't come across a physics master from MIT every day.
I think people hate her because out of all 5 girls, Diesel got the easiest way and didn't have any problem at work (yet) while 4 other girls suffered so much to get to where they are.
Isn't she basically an intern, though? Ema might not be being paid much, but she is being paid.
Besides, getting a job is pretty much all about making connections anyway. That's half the reason that companies get away with the cheat that is internships.
They actually give courses like that in the US, but not for us the rest of the world that have to live with their bullshit.
Is he grooming Oi chan to be his replacement
Okitsu is for tender
>she will never go back to her ranch in Texas
How does this make you feel?
All the research and library visiting take times and effort. She did it for free with no expectation for any rewards. She was competent and actually did her homework and show passion toward her job.
Zuka is just not good enough. Maybe if she didn't try so hard and choked every time during audition she might have landed a job for a hentai anime
or in a JAV.
And this is the model of Madoka. Hiroyuki Hata. The director of YuruYuri (OVA) and episode director of Girls und Pantzer.
Jesus Christ, how horrifying.
He has to check ALL those cuts? Goddamn.
Makes you think how does anime studios even find the place to store all that work. Considering renting in Tokyo is expensive as fuck.
That's 15 boxes for most likely a single episode, probably not all of it, an average storage room would be able to store like 2 shows max.
To those people, CRY MOAR FAGGOTS! Holy fuck do they really think that if someone straggles or suffers they deserve to be rewarded? Literally the same type of shitheads I had to deal with for a lot of years in my life. Go fuck yourselves incompetent fucks.
>do they really think that if someone straggles or suffers they deserve to be rewarded
It's the Protestant Work Ethic: Suffer and be rewarded for it.
(Protestants confirmed for being masochists)
I am dissapoint
>I'm a physics master
Of course you are
Because he is /a/ and has the balls to voice out majority of /a/ wish.
I just love that he's staring at her legs. Just perfect.
This, you may not like what he says whether they is some truth to them or just plain rude and passive aggressive, he is blunt and is outspoken.
Would I be as bitter towards the bakos if they existed in the same dimension as me?
Would a 3D Rii-chan automatically have the same problems associated with other 3D?
Does Hiraoka have a more detailed perspective on the bakos because he is of the same dimension?
From our perspective, the bakos are all pure, cute, and lovely, or Zuka. But Hiraoka lives in a world where there is obviously more to every character than we could possibly know.
Whether or not I disagree with Hiraoka is a pretty complex question, and I'm not sure I understand the situation enough to judge.
He wasn't wrong.
Sure he might be stereotyping them girls for using their sex appeal to rise up the ladder but his advice was sound. Rii-chan shouldn't take the job lightly since she got lucky because of her connection with Aoi.
Just look at Zuka who never got any chances due to her small circle of friend in the seiyuu department.
>Rii-chan shouldn't take the job lightly
Except she isn't, even thought that's how it looked like for Hiraoka
She put so much effort to impress the director even before she was known to him. You don't call this 'taking her job lightly'
And that was the gravest sin; he left a terrible impression on her based off an assumption and what he heard around the office without knowing anything about her. She is considered one of the nicest people in the office and that is your first conversation with that person?
I agree, there is some obvious favoritism that happens, but that was really uncalled for. Hell, he practically did it just because he noticed her positive attitude outside and then when he bumps into her just straight up insults her. Its like he only assumes the worse just because he probably met other shitty people at other work studios.
I hope they an repair that damage and they both can learn something out of this.
>s-stupid Hiraoka sempai! Notice me already!
This would make for an interesting dynamic. She will prove herself to him and he will learn that the noobies are not just there to stagnate but improve and possibly become like Yano where that can at least keep his spirits up: watching the younger crowd apply themselves and being full of vigor like he used to be.
He certainly needs a wake up call and while I think Aoi got the right idea by pairing him with Tarou for the latest episode. I think he needs more than that as a push.
How would you protect
yourself fromthis smile?
He's just jaded as fuck and let out all his pent up frustration when he was talked down to. Its so easy to get trapped in a dead end job, especially if you made a few mistakes in the past. The higher ups tell you its okay, if you work hard you can still move up if you work hard. It's a lie. They come up with arbitrary qualifications they never even mentioned before and pass over you again and again. People you started with move on. New younger people get higher positions than you. All of your experience means nothing because they have better grades or more interesting experiences. You see people with the same qualifications get picked over you because they will increase the "diversity" of the work place. You hate yourself for all the things you lack and the mistakes you made. You're not outgoing enough, not smart enough not good enough to play the political games you need to move on. You feel like there is no way out. Moving to another job doesn't change things since it will be the same level of work so it not worth the hassle. Having a job you hate is better than no job though so you stick around and keep working for that paycheck while resenting the people around you.
And the worse part of it is that it's 100 percent your fault, you can't move on because you just don't have what it takes and nothing will change that, plus you've been doing the job for so long it's all you know so you can't quit and try to move to another career. You're trapped. the only way out is killing yourself or throwing common sense to the wind and just gambling on your life. It works for some people but others just wind up as one of those Hobos in Philly.
I had to think about this for a bit, but I say no. Hiraoka is meant to be wrong about important things (specifically, cutting corners in anime production). We are supposed to dislike him and subsequently his views by him being mean to the moe moe girl we are supposed to like. It makes us want to defend her and push back against him. It's supposed to make us hate all his bad/wrong opinions as a result.
It only seems feminist because he's wrong when it comes to Diesel- and he's wrong because all the girls in this series are moe moe and have only cute and acceptable faults. If they had unacceptable faults, they wouldn't sell all the merch they need.
While there is propaganda in the series, the main thrust of the propaganda is "us anime makers care about anime and making the best shows we can! We always try our best! Only good people who never cheat work here!".
Hiraoka is, without a doubt, the worst person in SHIROBAKO.
There's no redeeming quality for him to be working in this field. None.
People like him is the reason we get shitty anime.
Not a bad character, of course.
He does a great job raising viewer aggro meter, hence a good antagonist.
>"us anime makers care about anime and making the best shows we can! We always try our best! Only good people who never cheat work here!".
Clearly they are wrong since shady shit does appeared in anime production. Just look at under the dog as a case study.
If they ever make a S2, they better do the whole chinkonnect bully thing with Zuka.
Anyway I was talking about the kikestarter fiasco with Under the dog. Apparently the producer kick everyone off the team and ran off with the shekels.
The main dude stole the money and fucked off. that's what happened. he didn't even get into much trouble for it anyway because "Fuck,Gajins" Good thing Trigger and Mighty NO 's teams are bros as those are the only kickstarter related things I cared about.
I never expected anime to awaken my M side, especially not in this context.
>dat soft and caring way of insulting and reducing you to a good-for-nothing
>dat nice and belittling look
10/10 would have dominate me all night long.
Why was this even a thing? I watched the trailer and didn't see anything revolutionary that needed to be made outside the standard production system.
>Project producer Hiroaki Yura stated that creativity within anime production is limited as a result of politics relating to depending on often risk-averse production committees
Looked like generic big boobed girl in skintight suit killing things to me.
He wasn't giving her any valuable advice, he was just being a cunt for no other reason but to vent his own frustration.
Every thread until I get tired of it
They have good PR and shillers.
They sold it to the baka gaijins as a high budget hot blooded violent action oriented show like Akira and GITS. Suffice to say, they fell for the hook, line and sinker.
Little did they know it was actually a scam and the PV is just a high school girl carrying a big gun like we get every season.
She's taking too much screentime away from muh Zuka.
They are too insecure to watch something that has a hot girl like Zuka.
That's what I was thinking too. Jeez, nothing but ignorant retards.
The animation isn't that bad, but the movements sure are slack and it feels like quite a bit of the animation was missing. You could see the keyframes at some moments.
People really got scammed with this?
>People really got scammed with this?
They believed the hype. I suppose I could have been sucked in if they promised things like
>Animated Tank Police: No More Noise
>Dragon Half, the rest of the episodes
or something like that. It's like any scam, it relies on touching something deep inside the mark.
The previous anon ( >>121835628) is factually wrong though. The project is still going forward with Kinema, CIA stepped out but they were acting more in a administrative role. So producer aside the creative team the same and the animation process is underway.
I'm against Kickstarter shit. If guys cannot make proper shit themselves and a nice PowerPoint/Prezi presentation, as well as define goals and a good estimation of profits earned by looking at the market trends in order to convince of their higher-class senpai (as well as lending some of their female "lip-service" if need be) to finance the stuff, they shouldn't start a project.
Or at least, you set the money goal relatively low.
Kickstarter can work in anime in certain circumstances. The Blu-ray release of Bubblegum Crisis wouldn't have happened otherwise, for example.
Having said that, the circumstances are fairly specific, and the folks running a kickstarter need to treat the supporters a lot like they'd treat the ordinary money-men.
Do you think you're on tumblr or something?
Ai is love.
You know, their whole thing with that Aria chick not having a goal kind of reminded me of how they are handling the Persona 3 protagonist in the movies. He doesn't have a single personal reason to stake his life fighting shadows in the Dark Hour, in the second movie it actually hurts him that after it's over he won't have anything at all and it causes him to hesitate in finishing off a shadow that in turn prevents him and his team from reaching another team member in time to prevent his death. In the third movie it looks like he tries to battle a shadow all by himself because of what his actions or rather lack of action caused. It does make you wonder. If you have nothing but the moment what are you? How do you find something beyond the current thing to make you "You"? I suppose it's a common cliche to build a main character around.
She's too over the top for me. I would have been okay with her if it turned out she was just freaking out about the ladybug, but having her be so shy she's literally unable to speak is too much.
Please no bully.
>accusing someone of being a newfriend
>because they aren't using the hippest, most up-to-the-minute lingo
Something about this logic seems fishy.
My my, did I just hear someone bullying my daughter?
Where is Mai? And Mi?
We have a Mii.
Mai wouldn't like this show though, what with all the sluts.
Got more for you. This one's truly creepy.
I bet they talk about girls in the office when no one is present.
But he hasn't interacted with Diesel, Zuka, 3D-chan, and Aoi's sister. And Ema's only interaction was telling everyone's Ai's enticement and pointing out to Ai that those were Tarou's drawings.
>Tarou called Hiraoka "Dai-chan"
The birth of ultimate anime duo
Anyone knows their VA?
Yano, Aoi, Anno, Goth Loli and Misa
It would be glorious
Not-Segawa a cutie.
Thanks. So she's also Yano? Nice
>Cardcaptor Sakura isn't shit! Arrrrrghhhhhh
I want Rii-chan to file a sexual harassment claim against me!
I want her to file a child support claim against me.
>noobies are not just there to stagnate
But that isn't true. Just look at real life history. Niggers are a huge detriment to any society and bring it down just look at the once great city of Detroit. It was a prosperous city until the niggers moved in and now it's a shithole.
God damn it boner, you've gone too far.
Oi-chan clearly has with her special shampoo.
Diesel attends a women's university after attending a women's high school. Only the reincarnation of Dost-chan himself would be man enough for her
On my knees, worshiping her.
According to one the shirobako prequel mini novels, Ema has never had a boyfriend and Aoi only had one back in junior college (but it apparently didn't last long). That said, they're japanese women in the work force, they don't do sex period.
Character design sheet. It even looks longer in that shot.
>"I'm really happy you feel that way about me."
>"But I need to focus on my career."
I would cum multiple times into Segawa-chan.
I'd make her a mother and take full responsibility.
You know, Ai's been working there for months already shouldn't she be fine with talking to Ema beyond afew grunts and sounds if they are by themselves? She's starting to get my fucking nerves already
