Trigger's Ninja Slayer cast announced:
I'm at work, but I found this insanely funny for some reason
Pretty sure all of /a/ lost faith in Trigger after KLK.
>The cyberpunk ninja action drama is set in the near-future city of Neo Saitama, where ninja souls have been unleashed. The story follows Fujikido Kenji, a salaryman whose wife and children were killed in a ninja battle. He is then possessed by a ninja soul and becomes a ninja slayer, devoted to killing all ninja to avenge his family
I know /a/ is going to hate this it is going to be so post-ironically self-aware retarded that people will be going mad over their autism becuase "just because its shit on purpose doesn't make it good!" or even worse newfags won't even know it is on purpose.

It's a sly parody on all those U.S. fans who got into anime in the 90s thanks to Ninja Scroll and all those violent OVAs
Protip: 99.9 percent of animes that people call parodies are in fact just easy to write garbage.
we'll see how they would handle colors in final products.
in PV the sometimes looks nicely oldschool, in other scenes like from some maho-shojou production. And rest is very contrasted - that migh end eighter epic or as epic fail
He'd better make a microphone or two explode by the end of this
When Trigger broke off, I thought we'd get to see come great animation, but instead we get FLASH cutouts. Wonder how shit their budget is for this thing and how much American Joke animation will be put into it.
>Female characters with clothing that oddly defines their bodies while male characters get extremely loose clothing
>harem with two girls with big tits and token pettanko
>main villain has a mustache
>Ugly guys but cute girls
Welp, this ain't getting any fujo or bara money the way Kill la Kill did.
>mfw MAPPA kill Trigger with Punchline
>we could've had P&S2
>instead, we got KLK
>not buying KLK
You really don't know that much about the variety of people that bought into Kill la Kill
Amemiya had a big hit with Inferno Cop, it's not a stretch to say he could do it again.
Ninja Slayer is just subject to trolling Inferno Cop never had because /a/ feels threatened by it.
That shitty coloring, holy shit.
I can see that Amemiya is great in Inferno Cop, but when it comes to Novel adaptation like this, I start to doubt it.
If this flop, I wonder when TRIGGER will start sucking Aniplex's dick to give them budget for LWA series.
To be honest the only great thing they've done is Inou Battle. Trigger seems to only try when the product isn't their own like Inferno Cop,Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia. They should make more like Inou battle and stop trying to appeal to westerners already.
>They should make more like Inou battle and stop trying to appeal to westerners already.
>and stop trying to appeal to westerners already.
success of crowdfunding LWA is really making them continue this pandering to the west
that's why in my heart Inferno cop is still their best product.
But it played it too safe, it was way more directed at westerners due to the lack of big name voice actors, panty shots, subtle yuri and no songs whatsoever. I felt like I was watching some low budget tv movie.
Really? I always felt like most early digital looked washed out as fuck. There were obviously some exceptions though.
Does anyone else find the completely out of place designs for the female characters jarring?
>Everything has a retro art style
>Suddenly 2010 moeblobs
>Back to retro
It's really weird.
Some shows learned to overcompensate with gray during that time (and some of the very first ones like Digimon got it right from the start without overdoing it) but at its barest early digital is just like >>121833756
>Blond is the lewd
>Matoi Ryuko 2.0 with muh revenge
>Big tits for leader like Satsuki
>Senktsu and male Ryuko with muh revenge
Kek la kek 2.0
Waiting for not nonnon being a best girl again and jew Moot.
>Goblin (Voice actor)
Hajime no Ippo New Challenger # 26
My 3 sisters (athletic meet of staff)
Ninja Slayer Fromm Animated Chillon (narration )
>Vaudevillian After working as, started working as impersonator .
>Previously, Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society , life professional , Across Entertainment I had belonged to. I have served many trailer narration of the movie.
>Naoto Takenaka , Masayuki Suzuki , Hiroshi Kamayatsu , Yuzo Kayama , Akira Fuse , and many others
Who cares. Most people seem to have a huge problem with Trigger. I'm looking forward to this because their shows always have a unique charm to them. Even KLK although that was very mediocre.
Then you weren't here for the mess of love threads it gained 24/7 while it aired, thousands of posts everyday. People didn't stop talking about it for months. People did criticize it and I do remember fans being disappointed by the use of shit CG but it didn't slow the hype even one bit. Shit just got crazier every week.
This is quite accurate. There was tons of hate but just as much people loving it but KLKs hate was manufactured to a certain extent. Shitposters intentionally set about on a campaign of trying to shut anyone down expressing a positive opinion by redirecting them to /v/, with shit about feminism, tumblr, calling them newfags and so on. Just associating everything negative with people who enjoyed the show.
Memes and opinion parroting. Most people don't actually make their own mind up about if a show is good or not or even have the mental toolbox to work it out for themselves so they just see what other people are saying and copy that. There is also the peer pressure element adding into that, newfags got to fit in and if it seems like people are hating something well I guess I better hate it too or else I guess I have bad taste!
I pray that the insert songs and character songs are more than that. Kill la Kill had some great inserts and Mako's theme is really positive hear ing. I can't remember shit about Inou battle other than generic themes so I don't know if it had an insert song or not.
>Adding lime green to a red/yellow/black color scheme
Everyone is bitching about this and forgetting that it's supposed to be mostly a parody on how ninjas are seen in the west (mostly due to the fact that MC lost his family, and this is a thing taken seriously).
I'll not judge it until watching the first 5-7 episodes.
I still wait for a sequel to Tekkaman Blade.
>Nakashima: We also followed what overseas fans were saying and so we had machines and translation staff so we could do immediately translation of what they were writing. We followed a number of sites, including 4chan.
Oh, lord. Why didn't I read this interview sooner.
It's my theory that Inferno Cop Season 2 will air when Ninja Slayer comes out.
Shit taste, this is glorious.
Man that's hype as fuck.
This is going to be fun.
Are you fucking kidding? Kill la Kill had the most cancerous fanbase of all time when it was airing. A good chunk of it was reddit/MAL retards.
It was shit on constantly outside and inside of klk threads as a result. If you think people just started to hate on it because its the "in" thing to do you're stupid. The retards from MAL/v/reddit all left, so now it has less of a fanbase.
For me it would've been even more so if the site where the manga translation is wasn't region locked for me.
And my Japanese is less than piss poor.
And the only thing I've got are the raws for Machine of Vengeance.
Go have fun on redddit or MAL, then. Because there's tons of faggots like you there.
Kill la Kill is a shit show in the first place. If you like it, you have shit taste, and there's nothing that can be done. Sorry, you're be a faggot forever.
Did I push a button? Were one of those posts yours?
I'll watch it because the threads will be just be shitflinging.
I actually was looking forward to the adaptation till I saw the anime's character designs, just plain disappointing.
What animation? Not only half of Trigger isn't even working on this but Amemiya direction mean bullshit fucked animation anyway (and no, Kanada is shit most of the time)
And let's not even talk about the fucked up colors and highlight jesus fucking god
They already FUCKED all the female characters even harder than Xebec did with TriageX, you can already expect anything else clever (strange way to spell edgy and childish) about the premise and setting to be heavily toned down or removed.
I'm sorry, I do hope this will be great, I like Trigger because of what they did long ago, but everything is pointing to this being a clusterfuck
The animation teased in the trailer which is wild and imaginative
>Kanada is shit
oh you have brain problem. sorry, didn't know.
The problem is that the character designs are not retro in the slightest, you can go watch Idolm@ster for nearly the exact same look. And while I do remember some garish colors in 80s/90s superhero comics, Ninja Slayer seems like it wants to parody a different aspect of that era's pop culture.
KLK seemed like it had ADD, and Ninja Slayer looks like it has the same problem of trying to go in too many different directions to be a spoof of anything.
This is going to be another of the few TV airing anime with visual cohesion by smartly using the "camera". If the story turns out to be mediocre, the anime overall will still be good just because of the direction.
