What the fuck is going on with her jaw and lips?
Not gonna lie, I actually shibireru'd from pic related, even though I knew it was coming from the manga. Or maybe because I did?
>massively powerful "army" out of fucking nowhere
>slow pan up to guy in solid gold armor
>the new king of camelot... Arthur!
If that doesn't make your spine tingle then I don't even wanna know
Then stop shitposting, Fairy Tail and Nanatsu no Taizai are almost nothing a like. They are in the same magazine and there are a few cliche things that could be compared, but that makes up like 5% of NnT so fuck off.
Damn, that finishing move was fucking nicely animated. Pity the rest of the series can't look as good as that.
If only they had made it 3 cours, not skipped so much stuff and all the fights had looked like this episode's climax.
They didn't skip all of Vivian, but they only keep this part.
Also, they killed the crow that was following Gil. It was also a demon.
fucking hell A-1
Why does everything in this adaptation look so disjointed or bad
Read the post on their site, dipshit
Animeonlyfags are really, really missing out.
Chapter 116 spoilers
>Mel vs Albion fight continues
>Mel starts wrecking Albion with his ST
>Albion learns on the fly and uses a new attack 5 times against Mel
>Mell full counters all of them
>Scene shift to the fairy forest
>We find out the forest grew so fast because Ban fed it with his blood.
>Either Albion, or another Albion, shows up at the fairy forest and starts its attack.
IMO they kinda fucked up conveying that Vivian is getting "out-teleported" by Merlin. The sequence in the manga made more sense, with Merlin first cancelling every teleport attempt by Vivian, then sending Vivian on a thrill ride. In the anime, Vivian suddenly did a plethora of scenery changes for no reason and the final change into dragon territory looked initially more like a blunder on Vivian's part than something Merlin did. If they're that hard pressed for time, they should have omitted the OP or ED and used the additional 90 seconds to do the scene properly.
>If they're that hard pressed for time, they should have omitted the OP or ED and used the additional 90 seconds to do the scene properly.
No need for that, just skip the 90 seconds that they wasted in "In the previous episode".
Well that's a damn shame, I wanted to see that meteor storm landscape animated.
>Either Albion, or another Albion, shows up at the fairy forest and starts its attack.
It's happening all over again, maybe this time King will be able to protect his people.
Well it kinda make sense, he's the one who drank the fountain of youth that was the source of life for the last fairy forest.
Then they should also post that shit on nyaa. Or say to check out their website for info on the next episodes. I don't check fansubbers' websites because they're generally not retarded and post updates with their releases on nyaa.
You can be stubborn about this, but it'll just mean it takes longer for you to find an answer to your question.
Why did she fall off, /a/?
Why did they think that her climbing the outside of a tower, shouting from the top and then falling off would be better in their QUALITY production than just running there?
I think they also skipped Ban's scene where Ban gets the info on the cavern with the horn from that knight with the missing teeth. In today's episode, Ban is just shown opening the secret door to the passageway. I guess they could still show it next episode as some kind of flashback to show what Ban has been up to. Though I won't hold my breath in that regard.
>Ban's blood has regenerative properties like the water of life
>He's been imprisoned for ten years without resisting or giving a fuck
>Instead of using the opportunity to harvest and drink his blood, to gain a longer lifespan or limited regenerative powers, he was just locked away
Hendricksen and Dreyfus were really dumb
>being anally devastated some people dont give a shit about what words they use.
>Telling others they must be over 18 to post here when you are showing more immaturity then they are
We all did, anon. We all did.
Why do bad adaptations happen to good series, anon? ;_;
Webm's ready, boys.
Enjoy, but take a moment for consider the other good scenes that died for this moment in the anime
>Either Albion, or another Albion, shows up at the fairy forest and starts its attack.
Man they rushed through chapters like 76-83 in this episode, cutting out all the Slader parts, and the sins reuniting before Vvians teleport raping.
Also, wtf are they doing with Dreyfus? in the mango he tries to attack king and gts shit all over in the process, here, Gilthunder just carrys him off somewhere.
>>Ban's blood has regenerative properties like the water of life
If that were actually the case I think we would have seen some serious shit happening with that slutty shota vampire.
I would guess that it only really works on things related to the forest.
I think this is mainly going to be about giving King another chance to protect the place, Ban might not need to do much.
Also I thought Ban's ST was taken from him when he was imprisoned.
Oslo's original introduction
The entire two chapters of Veronica's introduction
they cut Pelio out of Gowther's arc
Gowther vs Threader
and they've made the fight scenes short as shit
>and they've made the fight scenes short as shit
thats not really cutting anything though, the fight scenes in the manga, like fight scenes in most manga, are short as shit if directly adapted.
Even like 20 pages of manga fight scenes is like 1.5 minutes in actual animation.
>Manga version: Straight posture, head is held high, Sly look in her eyes, hair seems more fine, overall looks more mature
>Anime version: Bent back to make boobs stand out, shaft head tilt, entire face looks too smug, too much make up, bad coloring, poofy bimbo hair, overall looks like a villainous MILF who probably has a weird laugh and runs a brothel
They gave Arthur saiyan hair, so it was expected.
Just checked the chapter. It was Meliodas who killed it.
Here's some Edinburgh part 2 spoilers from our Russian bros on vk
>Diane and King arrived at the castle of Edinburgh, battled converted into vampires knights and soldiers there. King explained that vampires are immortal, but they can be killed if they smash the head or crumble into small pieces. Although the royal family of vampires can completely regenerate itself even from small lumps.
Orlondi sucks blood from Ban with translucent tentacles with thorns like roses (only poisonous). He gets drunk enough (so that as much fatter), but Ban does not care - he othlёbyvaet wine from the bottle, takes away Orlondi full force with the help of their ability and with one blow of his finishes. From Orlondi remains only one eye, which then selects Merlin and seals in the bottle.
Meliodas and Escanor arrive in Edinburgh through the portal, which opened Merlin. Escanor, blushing shyly, says he wants to somehow thank Merlin for the fact that it is such a beautiful, intelligent and kind, so good to cowardly weakling like him irresolute. Meliodas it says that it is just a big fan of all sorts of strange and unusual, and indeed with pribabahom. He also advises Escanor be confident, to which he finally unstuck and begins to sob in the spirit of "What do you mean, I myself can not stand! I must have been born under the curse of a star! I'm sorry I was born at all!" Meliodas says "Merlin will laugh at you." Escanor gives it a sacred relic and advised to be extremely careful, because space and time are distorted by the power of the vampire king, and may at any time abandon their nepoymi where. While Escanor dragging his ax, Meliodas goes ahead and disappear somewhere. Appears seated on the throne "King of Vampires" Izraf (growth of 3-4 meters, muscular and with a black beard). After hearing about the "seven deadly sins", he said that for such insolence and arrogance of these fellows must be put to death.
Meliodas notes that Escanor missing and worried how he will cope there is one. There are two vampire - Ren "Black Talon" and Gerda "Dust Cloud" (not sure about her nickname). Gerda attacks Meliodas, taking him for a demon Zeldrisa, one of those 3000 years ago sealed the vampires. She feels emanating from Meliodasa demonic force that just as at Zeldrisa. Ren suddenly attacking from behind Gerd and burns it to the ground, and then says Meliodasu "I know you're not Zeldris, and I know who you are. So fulfill my request - kill me."
King and Diane at this time fighting with other vampires - brothers named Maud (hunchback, the magician) and Gunn (warrior), which together count as Modganna "Dual sword" and fight together. The third vampire in a black robe and a large scythe, while simply watching the battle without taking part. Diane and King fight hard, as if their forces leave. They sin magic vampires, but it all figured out the handiwork of bananas. He watches them from the upper deck, sipping wine, and did rejoice. Next to him, Merlin, but it does not stop Ban and does not help with Diane andKing, and happily picks up the remainder of the Orlondi eyes (which is trying to regenerate and threatens revenge). Ban offers Merlin fight because he has nowhere to go stolen force. Merlin tells him that she does not have time for this, but I agree, if the Ban will make a hundred thousand push-ups. Ban begins to do push-ups, but then cuts off due to the wine.
In Edinburgh, always night, but the time will soon dawn. Escanor cowardly runs away from the vampire attack the king and calls for help Meliodas, but then suddenly stops, takes another blow Izrafa, but no harm is getting. Now Escanor calm, and apparently also changed - became more muscular and manly.
Jesus fuck, dude. Just watch the fucking episode. There are two stalker demons. The invisible one following Margaret (the one Mel killed) and the one disguised as a crow (anime original, has been following Gil since episode 2.)
some of the anime changes have made more sense then the manga imo.
The manga's handling of Margret and the crystal necklace was kinda dumb imo.
The anime version made more sense in the long run.
Actually, in chapter 83 Gil mentions he had one following him as well, but it likely ran away.
After the one following marget was killed
That coded message is impossible to decipher, anyway. People noticed how "I'm stronger than the sins" or whatever Gil says was weirdly emphasized but the actual explanation was silly. Hence, why a lot of people were calling asspull on this shit.
the one following Marget had resistance against lightning based attacks, so gil couldn't kill it and free her.
His didn't need to be protected against lightning since he knew if he attacked it, the one following Margaret would harm her.
>we didn't even get the whole Holy Knight/Sins crew being teleported around, just like, 5 people
>Vivian randomly changing the environments instead of just leaving them in one place
when will my asshurt stop
There's also one small bit further.
""Разве это всё, на что ты способен? Сражайся в полную силу" - говорит он Израфу, на что тот смеётся: "Это всё, что ты хочешь сказать перед смертью?". Эсканор отвечает: "Что ж, тогда ещё одно. Извинись за то, что родился в моём мире."
В следующей части появится Гаутер."
>"Is this all you've got? Fight by using your full power" he says to Izraf.
>Izraf laughs: "Is this all what you wanted to say before death?"
>Escanor says: "Well there's one more thing. Apologize for being born in my world".
>Gowther will show up in the next part.
So Escanor is not a mindless hulk, but indeed some very prideful creature who can just fucking tank the attack of the king of vampires and laugh at him.
Haven't watched it yet, but did they really cut the scene with Threader, Merlin, and the door? Well shit, that ended up playing into one of the most recent manga chapters where he reveals his devotion to her on account of her using her abilities to rescue the king. What a crock.
EVERYTHING was coded.
In the forest:
>Gil: I'll kill you
>Mel: right back at you
>Gil then proceeds to slash Mel on his right back side.
So the demons and vampires were working against each other 3000 years ago?
Interesting, when the Vampire king mentioned being sealed thousands of years ago I assumed they were going to go with the "vampires and demons were allies in the ancient holy war" route.
That part was also shielded.
They removed the humanoid demon from the fanbook poster, huh.
See, the thing with the whole coded message at White Forest is that it originally wasn't one.
You don't go out of your way to create complex storylines right from the get-go, in case the series ends up getting axed.
It's pretty evident with NnT, in many ways. Actual plot pieces started falling to place sometime after Ban joined, which is where the pacing starts to get slower.
Stuff like the Sacred Treasures and such are good examples.
Nakaba just did a fairly good job at making it into a plot point later on.
slight change, definitely important enough for me to repost this 4 second scene
Thats kinda the problem
>Demon fire is the only thing that can burn fairy magic.
>Demons can make golems more powerful then anything the giant cans.
>Demons are many times stronger then even the strongest humans
>Demons were able to seal away the vampire clan without any noticeable damage to themselves whereas it took the goddesses destroying their physical forms to do the same to the demons.
Demons are just TOO good at seemingly everything.
NNT is supposed to have three major arcs, and go for 40 volumes, whats a legit threat to face after the demons get taken out in arc 2?
>whats a legit threat to face after the demons get taken out in arc 2?
Goddess clan, of course.
I will not be surprised if demons were trying to take gods down for a good reason and almost succeeded at the price of being sealed too.
To be fair, we haven't seen much of any other clan except human yet. The fairy forest was burned down when the most powerful fairy wasn't around, the only golems we've seen are from Diane and she left the giant clan when she was a child so she probably doesn't have any specific training on her giant power, and the vampires only face the Holy Knight, Sins, and the Demon clan - we don't know how the other clan would fare against them.
>whats a legit threat to face after the demons get taken out in arc 2?
I'd say the Goddess clan but that would seem to be too obvious and generic.
> the only golems we've seen are from Diane and she left the giant clan when she was a child so she probably doesn't have any specific training on her giant power
She said in chapter 115 that she hasn't seen anything like Albiion, event amongst the giant clan.
Oh, I see, then I guess the >>121927269 giant armored golem-like thing doesn't belong to the Giant clan then, now I'm even more curious about it, that thing is pretty massive.
inb4 it really is Gowther
maybe the 10 comandments will just introduce us to something bigger always involving demons or give start to a major plot twist?...and about Escanor and the vampire thing.... aren't there any pictures even on twitter and istagram? usualy japanese post their stuff there but i don't know how they work actually...
I guess that's a possibility, but I dunno, it sounds sort of obvious that Diane isn't with the other giants for a reason.
That works too. It does sort of tie to Diane not just being able to see them.
Manga is selling obscenely well. Dunno if anyone is really hinging on the anime sales, but even if there was an S2, we'd have to wait quite a while to build up enough source material.
>build up enough source material
Awww that's too bad. I really love this show. My most anticipated seasonal show in years for some reason even though I'm not really a fan of shounen.
Guess it's time to start reading the manga.
As an anime-onlyfag I thought this episode was pretty fucking great.
Use this site. There have been plebs that have used mangareader/panda and missed out on both scan quality and the side-chapters as a result.
Why she is so cute?
Oh fuck, Escanor is gonna be one glorious bastard.
>inb4 he will rape the vampire king with his bare hands
Maybe because he, Kaide and Twigo are all brothers.
I'm still thinking there would be a fourth brother, the one we saw during Nightmare Teller, training Twigo. He was huge, like Kaide, but, well, Kaide didn't seem to be... stable.
He's only 40 currently, which means he's about 30 here. There's no reason they would think he's in his mid-50s, which is what the poster implies. I think there's something more to it.
>he'll be 40 now
His buffed version might look even older.
Here's the updated age list, too:
Meliodas: 3000+years old
King: 1300 years old
Helbram: 1300 years old
Elaine: ~1000 years old
Diane: ~750 years old
Baltra: 60 years old
Dreyfus: 47 years old
Ban: 43 years old (but looks like 23)
Escanor:40 years old
Hendrickson:39 years old
Viviann: 29 years old
Margaret: 22 years old
Gilthunder: 21 years old
Griamore: 21 years old
Howser: 21 years old
Veronica: 18 years old
Jericho: 18 years old
Arthur: 16 years old
Elizabeth: 16 years old
Guila: 16 years old
Hawk: 16 years old
>his sacred treasure has depiction of goddess
>his powers are only activating during the day
>he's extremely prideful and goes as far as referring to the world around him as "his"
Looks like he's connected to the goddess clan.
>inb4 he will go full wryyyy on vampire king's ass
Another interesting speculation:
>horn of Cernunnos was locked by the secret handle that had a form of lion, the artifact itself was connected to the gods
>Lyonesse is literally the "City of Lions"
>Escanor's weapon is a divine axe and he's the Lion's Sin
>he was born when Bartra was 20 years old
Can he possibly be Bartra's son who was born with some really fucked up power he can't control? Because Bartra himself has an uncontrollable power too.
>finally catching up with the last couple of episodes
>Guila and Hauser stepping up
THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR
Episode 21: LET'S GO, SON!
Episode 22: Gray Demon Hendy
Episode 23: You have us, the Seven Deadly Sins!
Episode 24: I have no idea where they want to end this shit. Maybe the fireworks scene and they'll omit Ban leaving the Sins until the
Hmm, I never looked to closely, but it seems the ancient language actually corresponds to the numbers. ⫶ is 0, | is 1, < is 2, > is 3, Δ is 4, H is 5. Then the words seem to correspond to Japanese as well, with the 9 with dashes corresponding to 力. That's pretty cool.
Yeah, I noted that.
"royal family from long ago" is definitely a bit more ambiguous in what it actually means.
I wouldn't be completely surprised if it was referring to Danafor.
But yeah, being old as fuck is a fair assessment from that.
Zeldris appears to know of the name Seven Deadly Sins and how it's related to Mel. Chances are it refers to the current group of seven around Mel. This appears to be just one incarnation of it.
Seriously what the fuck with Taizai's budjet and schedule? It's an aniplex production and it's look like utter shit, they even dare to put the QUALITY cut (pic related) in the recap intro. Why do they jewed so much on this franchise?
Had they just had an extra 2 episodes, with 26 instead of 24, the pacing of the series would have improved so much and everything that was skipped could have been added. It wouldn't have fixed a lot of the animation and lack of detail, but at least it would have been more accurate to the story. Still, at least it's better than completely changing the story like some other series.
There's your problem. They don't have their own culture or set of employee animators like P.A Works or Madhouse. They haven't and aren't ever going to have "passion" projects
All soulless freelance contractors
I got curious and looked at the recent sales on ann/oricon. Color me surprised. Last time I checked it was around 400k-500k and now it's somewhere around 700k-800k for volume 12 and volume 13 has a comfy 450k in its opening week. Seems the anime worked. Though I wish they had paced it a bit more leisurely and did it in 3 cours. Now they're out of main story material and it'll be quite a while before they can make anything else,
This is purely conjecture from me, but it looks like A-1 messed up the production scheduling. Seems all the good outsourced contracts for menial animation work went to Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (the TeenageViolinDrama) and NnT got "what was left", so to speak. A-1 should really stay the fuck away, if they can't do multiple shows per season, or plan ahead properly.
Less shitty translation of this
Diane and King arrive at Edinburgh castle, and battle knights and soldiers who were turned into vampires. King explains that vampires are immortal, but they can be killed if their head is smashed, or they crumble into small pieces. Meliodas and Escanor arrive in Edinburgh through the portal opened by Merlin. Escanor, blushing shyly, says he wants to somehow thank Merlin for the fact that she is so beautiful, intelligent and kind, and so good to a cowardly weakling, with no resolution, like him. He also advises Escanor be confident, to which he finally breaks down and begins to sob in the spirit of "What do you mean, I can't stand by myself! I must have been born under a cursed star! Escanor cowardly runs away from an attack by the vampire king, and calls for help from Meliodas, but then suddenly stops, takes another blow from Izrafa, but isn't harmed. Now Escanor is calm, his appearance has changed - he has became more muscular and manly.
Why are the 7 sins Manga readers the whiniest fags i have heard in along time?
The anime is great, i'm glad it skipped all your b.s. filler and supposed for-shadowing.
How long have you guys been watching anime anyways?
It's fucking A-1. You think you would know what to expect by now.
>yfw Escanor spent 12 years working out to make even his base form reasonably powerful
>becomes even stronger and more muscular when he hulks up now
As animeonly-fag this anime as whole has been pretty great I feel, and I know the anime have been skipping stuffs but they didn't change any important contexts right? Like I won't suddenly blindsided with Gilthunder actually never did any of the things he did in the anime when I read the manga right?
Biggest change was Gowther's "origin" story where he was posing as a kid's babysitter in the manga rather than travelling with his armour.
Outside of that, most of the stuff has been minor scenes skipped, lots of minor characters getting introductions that were actually their second scenes in the manga.
I've enjoyed it as an animeonly-fag too. It's been a fun battle shounen. Even if they rushed things, it hasn't been overly noticeable.
I'll probably pick up the manga when it ends after several years.
I was so hyped when I read it in the manga too, best cliffhanger of the series and then reading that he was actually mentioned in chapter 1.
Too bad it turned out to be a shitty kid and the army was fake.
I'm so disappointed in this adaption... Every relevant plotline rushed to shit and doesn't make sense. And on top of that the inbetween stuff that makes it make sense is cut as well. This anime makes Togashi look like a workaholic, it's that lazy.
They kinda had to rush it to end on chapter 100
They didn't want to do a sequel just to cover the infiltration arc for the sake of the budget that is clearly low judging from the quality of the animation.
Again it's the budget, don't blame it on the people who work on it.
Almost if not all the anime-only shit has been good. The problem is that they keep cutting things. For example, Threader/Slader, a recurring character that's currently part of the main party in the manga has had ALL his current scenes from this arc cut out.
I think anime was produced so fast because they used it to promote 3DS and browser game (note that Sega Networks is one of main sponsors).
I wish that manga will be popular enough, that when it ends it will get HxH treatment with remake adaptation by Madhouse on N-TV (original HxH adaptation was by Nippon animation and aired on Fuji tv).
Popularity is all what matters and N-TV is probably only station that makes adaptations of older manga. They even bought majority share of Tatsunoko, so they probably will be making more remakes like Yoru no Yatterman and Crowds in future
If they have some budget left, I hope they do something similar to this when Revenge Counter happens.
If you don't like /ss/ you better run from NnT
Nakaba's copying all the wrong things from DBZ. He better revive Jillian if he's gonna pull this shit.
This guys will be fucking hilarious when he actually appears in the main manga.
So who is this guy?
There was a pretty interesting theory in this thread about him being Bartra's son.
He'll be an old man, though.
They knew Diane, King, and Merlin wouldn't drastically change in appearances, so they didn't bother aging them up. You could say the same for Ban, or they might not have bothered updating his poster since he was already captured? They don't know what Gowther looks like, so that leaves Meliodas and Escanor whom they aged both up since they presumed they were humans and didn't have any method of preventing aging like Ban or Merlin.
Started from the manga, honestly this has been a fairly faithful adaption and anime isn't always 1:1 with manga to begin with. They have the important points, the other parts were more like extras to flesh out the story. Not sure why anyone is complaining, this is afterall 24 cour.
>And for all we know the entity inside him may give him larger lifespan.
But not necessarily the ability to prevent aging.
Plus, he was drawn as an old man at the beginning of the new arc. If Nakaba wanted to keep his appearance ambiguous like Gowther, he'd have just pasted his wanted poster in that scene. So he's probably aged up.
Did something happen in one of the omakes? I keep coming across King in a meido outfit.
>be a shotacon
>make them suffer/kill them off
Is this not why you are here?.jpg
All I can think of is the mention of "King: The Great Naked Apron Bridegroom Training Plan" mentioned in the poll.
One of the older extra's in the volumes had someone request asked King in an apron and Nakaba delivered though.
That image is missing some tears.
THE PAIN AND THE PLEASURE
ALL COME TOGETHER
THERE IS NO REASON WHY
Some changes are positive, anon.
I think you're refering to this, right?
No don't get me wrong, I'm gladt they darkened Diane's hair, but yeah i am just surprised they ended up giving Merlin black hair is all considering the colored shot.
not that i'm complaining, she looks hot as fuck
No there was an earlier picture, not sure if it was for a cover or such, but she had might lighter hair than in that one.
Again, i think the black hair is an improvement, it just surprised me when i first saw the other one.
Miyano always delivers
The recently released extra story, set 12 years ago from main story. It's the second part out of three, the last one to come in march.
>far-shot after this is drawn with the black demon mark
>they fuck up the close-up of his fingers just before that
To think Mel gets a face-full of that whenever he wants.
I understand he was holding back against gil but why the fuck meliodas was getting rekt by hendry?
Later on while hendry had the blood of 1 demon activated mel cut his hand like it's nothing, hendry couldn't even follow him with his eyes.
I really don't understand
Meliodas was concentrating on finding the invisible demon and killing it with one attack. That's how it is in the manga; Vivian even shouted it out.
I haven't watched the anime episode, though, so I have no idea if that detail was omitted.
