Who is the Mysterious creature.

Jericho becoming a knight under Ban's service
Wondering how that 2nd Albion appeared at the forest. Did it get lost and wander into it, like Ban, King and Jericho did? Or was it hiding all along within the world of the fairies?
>We fucking clones now
>Introducing power levels and MC oneshotting the most powerful monster revealed so far in terms of said powerlevel
This is going to turn into another dbz where powercreep is complete nonsensical in many ways aren't we?
He's got his Sacred Weapon and he's completely undamaged, so he's pretty much in perfect condition now.
All this tells us is that Ash Demons and the Albion siege golems are just fodder for Meliodas, the (hypothetical) brother of the leader of the demon's most elite group of warriors.
Reminder that Nakaba is a huge jrpg fan.
Something something Sacred Treasure gimmick. 5 holes in his sword, 5 clones? Just assume it's magic.
Gerard wants King to be king, but the fairy people want Ban. So I'm guessing he'll try to look for a way to reinstate King.
If Mel actually had his Sacred Treasure during the confrontation against Hendy he could probably blew him the fuck out in seconds.
Wonder if this thing works in conjunction with demon mode. Mel is insanely overpowered as he is.
Gerard is a woman (although the female equivalent of the name is Gerharde).
Not necessarily with his Full Counter. Hendricksen was wary against using his power in the mass battle against him since Meliodas could have used Full Counter to return the attack. Albion tried to overwhelm Meliodas' ability to counter all his attacks, but to no avail.
However, Lost Vain could definitely have allowed Meliodas to cut Hendricksen into pieces. Pretty strong. Makes me wonder how Bartra even got the weapon in the first place.
Helbram stated that he loses consciousness in demon mode. He can't use techniques like Full Counter in it either (which was pretty bad against Helbram who used like 20 different powers when fighting)
It's unknown why he lost consciousness during that time. He was forced to overpower a goddess artifact after all. Even if he cannot use full counter, Lost Vain probably works with Hellblaze too.
Dumping the chapter.
Aye, they both look so adorable when they don't open their mouth.
No, Meliodas only lost consciousness after escaping from the Goddess Amber. He's perfectly able to keep lucid while using his demon powers, however. I even remember him knitting his body together the same way Hendricksen did and catching Gilthunder's blade by concentrating the black, inky aura into his fingertips.
I don't think it's afterimages, in the place where they reform together all the Melidoas arrive at different time.
Also, this just make me realize, now he'll be gang molesting Elizabeth if given the chance.
>final battle in Kongou Banchou had two evolved superhumans launching each other to the orbit
>NNT powerlevels are much more absurd and MC seems to be even stronger than Akira
Just how ridiculous will be final battle? Grown up Mel against the demon king with reality altering shenanigans?
Reminder that Nakaba hinted at Mel's ability like two years ago already and he used it specifically to molest Liz.
It's times like this I realize that those whining over powerlevels would be better served getting off Nakaba's ride right now rather than waiting any longer. Because history (with KB) suggests they probably wouldn't enjoy how the battles end up.
But there's six Mel in there, unless you mean to say he can create more than five copies. If that's how it is then I hope Black Mel have the same power, a fight between the two would be hilariously confusing.
How many wann bet ban gets his st soon? Seems like theyre not something nakaba wants to focus on anymore seeing as hes just handing them out now nilly willy and named/showed off the remaining ones
Next thing is the rest of the sins...sins
Does the forest still acknowledge King as its king or does it bear no ill towards King but at the same time prefers Ban to be the king? Because, otherwise, I don't see where the other fairies get off appointing a new king and treating their old one like crap. At least, it appears there's at least one person who is loyal towards King. Regardless of her agenda, I'm just glad not all fairies are ungrateful cunts.
This girl look so damn evil, the only thing missing is a skull.
King can still use power of the forest, can't he? I think you're right, it's just the ungrateful fairies calling Ban their king but the position is still King's.
The Holy Knights took Ban's weapon away from him, so he probably won't receive it until he makes contact with the rest of the Sins again. So it's probably King's turn to shine in the next chapter, seeing as how he's currently standing in a giant weapon (the entire forest of the Sacred Tree) that only he can use.
Merlin will probably have had the foresight to pick up his Sacred Treasure and give it to him then.
I wonder how many more Demon golem will wake up and ruin stuff. I hope one wake up around Gilthunder's group, we haven't seen much of them.
Gideon? Diane lost that, so it can't be helped if Merlin couldn't find it. Ban's ST, on the other hand, was kept by the Holy Knights. If Merlin doesn't do it, there's Bartra with his Vision power. He might see the time when Ban needs to take back his weapon and act accordingly.
>that fanart on the last page of niggerstream scanlations
jesus fucking christ
Not quite. Its Was stated that the festival was set up by the holy knights to draw out the sins so merlin definitely couldve had the chance to jack it.
Merlin inly gives a shit about memel it seems
Not intentional my
smartphonehas this wierd as thing where it copy pastes shit I write when pressing the enter key which is right conveniently next to my goddamn erase key
>Perfect Cube that reflected everything back at attackers is a magic of demonic realm
>Mel possesses the mobile version that works only against direct magical attacks but allows him to simply stop or charge with attacks
Is it just me or all his powers belong to the demon realm, not Hellblaze alone?
Demons seems to excel at everything they are doing.
>can build powerful golems with flexible AI who can adapt to the tactics of their opponents
>have the ability to destroy anything, even indestructible or immortal things
>advanced regeneration to the point of being able to reattach limbs
>certainly a high magic resistance and magic that effectively nullifies any forms of attack used against them
>masters of keikaku doori
My personal theory is that the Demon Clan is what happens when all the other clans start race mixing: a superior Übermensch race that surpasses the other clans in their individual specialties.
And everyone declared war on them because they were afraid of the Demon Clan's power.
Which means extra tragedy for King's romance with Diane (Gerard wouldn't approve) and the Goddess Clan wants to kill Meliodas because of what child he may possibly have with Elizabeth.
The Demon Clan created Albion, which seems to be some sort of organic siege weapon. So maybe the Demon Clan can shape flesh?
Dale had multiple powers when his demon blood went crazy, remember? So far, it seems everyone but wizards (and Albion, an artificial creation) can only have one power. So it's possible that the Blood and Ash Demons are artificial creatures pumped with multiple powers.
>there was one original demonic bloodline bearing the signs of the demon clan, just like Mel, his brothers and probably his father, the demon king
>some of the members of original clan fell in love with members of other species, their children were demons too, but inherited some characteristics of other clans, so there's talented craftsman among them, magicians, and their magic can not only be used to harm, but to heal and protect like Perfect Cube or that demonic leech that healed Bartra
>they even stood against the evil, as it was Zeldris who sealed vampires
>at some point this drew the attention of the goddess clan who were concerned with maintaining the balance between clans, they manipulated other clans who did something horrible to the demons, so horrible that their rage grew so great they swore to destroy all other clans
>10 commandments are probably the representatives of all groups among the demons, aside from Meliodas, Estarossa and Zeldris they have different demonic markings suggesting that they were born in a result of race mixing
>tentacle loli is probably a fairy/demon hybrid, that huge guy who uses black matter as helicopter to move is probably a giant/demon, etc.
She's interested in Mel in general and it seems he's not showing his advanced abilities all the time. So she just baited him to use it now and probably can reverse-engineer whatever magic Mel used to create his clones.
i appreciate that the artist works a lot but it's kinda weird how a lot canon backstory and characters are being introducing by nakaba himself in all these spin-off chapters
I suspect Escanor will change even more as the day progresses.
That sound pretty cool, would explain why the Red demon seem to rely purely on instinct and just wanders around looking for stuff to burn, they were created as weapon. Though that sound similar to Albion aswell.
So handsome, I really hope he's bearded old man in the main-story when we see him.
On the brightside, atleast they're still better than Kender.
Is it just me or he looks a little like Bartra, especially now?
>both have powers they are unable to control by will
>Lyonesse is a "City of Lions"
>Escanor is a Lion Sin of Pride
>pride could be connected to his high social status
>he was born when Bartra was 20 years old
I like the beard as well, but the dangling hair strands look pretty stupid. I hoe he keeps his old haircut.
>served the previous generation's fairy king and the generations before that
I feel like that "lifespan of 1000-1500 years" answer is pretty meaningless; it doesn't seem to apply to any of the named fairies.
His old haircut already have the dangling part, it seem that he just let it grow with age.
True, it probably only apply to the average normal fairies. Who knows how long a human-like fairy like King would live.
>Won't be surprised if Albion was able to find forest only thanks to her.
Well, having Albion 2 attack the forest is a pretty straightforward way to remind those retarded fairies that they don't get to elect their kings.
They do act like a bag of dicks towards people they don't like, be it justified or not.
OTOH it's pretty amusing to see such an honest folk. Apart from Helbram, who was twisted by fate, they tell you straightforward what they think of you, no false smiles whatsoever. If they like you, they show it, if not, they'll speak their mind as well.
In a way she is right.
The other fairies see in Ban the great hero while she know more about him and that he acts mostly out of personal interests, which she also do. It is a trade: Immortality against the saving of the forest.
Dat confident stance. I like Suzuki's body language in his art. The characters "talk" so to speak, even if they don't utter a word. This panel here screams "powerful badass incoming".
>Hype for King using the forest to one shot the monster,
This. If Chastiefol is just a little spear carved from the tree, I've always wanted to see if he could weaponize the whole forest itself.
I hope Escanor has a way to go full power at will.
As much as I hate to make this reference, I don't want another case of Lambo from Reborn whose only useful for like 4 minutes when switching to his 25 year old self.
He's strong throughout the entire day, not just for a few minutes. And his base form's actually pretty nimble.
>Diane and King don't want to antagonize him
>Meliodas struggles to carry his axe
>Vampire King's attack doesn't even scratch him
He's a mid-game character for a reason. I can't wait to see him in action.
> some mages just want to watch the whole world burn
We know King was scared of Escanor being brought along for the Edinburgh mission, though, so context. They're probably afraid of his power, as opposed to Guila who doesn't want her brother to hate her at all.
She definitely looks shady. But then again, so does Merlin and that's apparently her charm point.
I wouldn't be surprised if she was "relatively" good, but just disconnected from normal morality.
>What does that have to do with wondering what arc they're gonna end
I think this specimen might actually be autistic.
Step back, I'll try to communicate with it.
>Why wouldn't the anime end with the end of the introduction?
>Meliodas charges himself with a Revenge Counter
>uses Lost Vain to clone himself
>sends the attack at a clone, which then reflects the attack to another one
>power is multiplied with every Full Counter
>last clone directs it towards enemy
>fucking gg no re
>inb4 5 clones is not his limit, he can create thousands if he wishes
