I want to eat Tohsaka's anus.
I don't know Satan, maybe because it's lewdness is a great nightmare.
I have never seen this show. I tried to watch it on Crunchyroll today, but all I was able to come to terms with is that Crunchyroll is for cock hungry ass rapists and I'm out 6 dollars.
I will obtain it through other, less appropriate means as I'm sure my six dollars is going to Type-Moon to support their orgy habit.
Thanks for all the buttsex you have given me so far in life. You're definitely holding up your side of the deal.
On that note...
WHAT SHOULD I WATCH/READ/PLAY FIRST?
I would love to get into this cool looking story, but I hear it's an LN, a game, and a bunch of anime. What should I do first? I want to be sure to enjoy this ass as much as possible. It is a fine behind.
30000 minutes until the BDs
I cannot believe this smoking hot woman exposes her anus.
I couldn't leave a nigga hangin! Satan's minions must deliver the ass.
More ass for your pleasure.
Will do. Why the local to Japanese? No voices otherwise?
Is this a fucking joke? Am I on bizarro /a/?
>i tried to watch it on crunchyroll
>doesn't know what F/sn is
>All caps writing like a retard
>doesn't know what locale is
>People are spoonfeeding anyway
What the fuck is wrong with you faggots?
Die, all of you.
B-but your PENIS is WAY too BIG!
IT'S :O LIKE A DOUBLE PENIS!
Do you know how much fucking shitwork I put in for people on this site? Source, this, source that, draw me a picture, censor this so I can post it, blah blah blah blah. A then there's THIS faggot who thinks we should act like cold hard asses to each other when some actually needs some help. Oh, I'm sorry, do I not fit in with the cliche here on 4chan? On fucking 4chan, I have to impress you like your some preppy celebrity fuck who wants things to be just his way? That's not why we're here man. Get out of here and rethink your life.
It's Saber who gets NTR'd though. UBW Good is an NTR end.
Saber gets to stay because she likes Shirou, but Shirou never does anything with her, only Rin. In fact, to even keep Saber around, he has to fuck Rin constantly. Her continued existence relies on a man she loves and another woman screwing.
There's a reason she's the King of Cucks.
That is above the average size sir.
But it's probably something like that, considering she was expecting half the size.
Are all these women blessed with enormous asses and child bearing hips?
>That is above the average size sir.
Is it? Thanks.
Ah, I'm not even black.
Ok, truth is I'm part white. Mostly arabic and hispanic though. So I have some schools to blow up with government aid money.
And my penis isn't even that big.
Woah. Anon. you are supreme. Thank you.
Have something lewd.
Lets be real guys. F/SN is a fun little shounen show but F/Z will be forever remembered as a masterpiece. It was dark, deep, full of philosophy, and felt like a real TV series compared to F/SN with its fanservice and high school setting.
Saying F/SN is better than F/Z is like saying Bleach is better than Berserk. You're comparing shonenshit to a seinen.
The BDs are listing 480 minutes, while the broadcast version was only 380 minutes if you tally the episodes.
We've also had confirmed missing scenes since the beginning of the broadcast. Pic related was cut from episode 2.
Depends what kind of bomb you want! (I actually know jack shit about bombs. I would have to ask my uncle. he's not actually a terrorist, but he's smart like that)
It's like a type-moon party up in here.
Reminder not to be deceived by sunk cost VNfag primaries.
They made the decision long ago to gorge themselves on an inferior medium, knowing full well that a superior, high budget, high quality better medium version was in the works.
They traded quality for early access to content. And misery loves company, they will stop at nothing to trick newfriends into making the same mistake they did.
You should do the following, at the bare minimum
1. Watch Fate/Zero
2. Watch UBW (UFOTABLE)
3. Decide to wait out for the end of UBW, or if you really must and cannot contain your autism to win nerdbattles on /a/, you can play the VN
4. Ditto for the last, worst, wormroutes like HF.
There is zero reason to choose an objectively inferior, decade old eroge VN over a far superior, better artstyle, animated, version of it.
Additionally the other fate releases spoil Fate/Zero -- the best standalone release of the entire fate series. It is idioitic to complain about how it ruins a subpar route like HF, when reading HF/FSN spoils Fate/Zero.
Fate/Zero is one of the greatest selling anime of all time for good reason. And /a/ will never stop being butthurt over it.
The reason this statement is a joke though is because Urobuchi himself says Nasu already had most of Zero mapped out or written before he came on board, and Nasu helped Co-Write when they actually got into it as well. Nasu did maybe 75% of the work there including creating all the characters and nixing any ideas he didn't care for like Urobuchi wanting to make one of the Assassins a child who lived with Waver.
Nasu has gotten better and that reflects with Zero and his other recent works, but people see that as more Urobuchi being plain better. Sure it was still a team effort, but even Urobuchi talks about how he was only a part of the process and a lot of it was there from the start.
People really overestimate how bad "spoilers" are. It's painfully obvious already that Archer is Shirou from the future. It's not like "It's his sled" level spoiler, it's just "ugh, ok that's what they decided to do"
You're supposed to enjoy the journey, not the destination, in Fate. And the (ufotable) anime is a luxurious limo ride on the main road. The VN is a model T that can travel on the side roads as well.
Take the nice trip and then circle back onto the dirt path if you really want to.
Most of /a/ are butthurt and biased because they already took the shitty model T ride years ago.
No really do go on, I am greatly enjoying this.
The early episodes made her look somewhat weird. It doesn't really show up in later parts.
Three primary reasons people go for non-anime versions, in order of most to least common.
1. People feel the need to fit in, win meaningless autistic internet arguments and feel superior.
2. They can't defer gratification long enough to wait for an anime
3. The adaption is, objectively, sufficiently bad to ruin the advantage of the anime medium and is so bad that it ruins going back to the original (somehow. How this occurs has never been explained)
Do not be confused, often #1 and #2 are their real reasons, but /a/nons, being either delusional or self-aware chronic liars, will almost always claim #3.
Why is UFOTABLE so fucking based?
Why is their adaptation so good when DEEN's was so utterly horrible?
Man, I'm just going through the Fate VN right now and I got to the part in the church's basement. Either I lost memory of it or DEEN's version was watered down to meaninglessness, because I don't remember it being this good.
Is it really pasta if you wrote it? That's hardly been posted that many times.
There's never been a good argument against it. It's always been blase "This looks like a lot of text which disagrees with my opinions ergo it's not a valid post" of the type we're seeing in this thread.
Looks like we won't see any intellectual honest replies in this thread, so I'll see you guys another day.
That is the 2006 DEEN series, which is really, really bad. Let me show you some comparisons.
She is something devilishly cute. Goddamn.
This is good.
>Made it this far without being spoiled.
>Superfagsupreme fucks everything up.
Are you actually sentient, being formed of hyperconcentrated douche?
FUCK IT! I'm watching it all/reading/playing/fucking all of it, and if it's good I'll make a flash game about it.
Downloading as we speak. Also if it's good I'll actually buy it. Cause you know, Satan is watching.
Sorry I guess? /a/ spammed "Shirou is the redman" during UBW cour1 so you'd have been spoiled already, and if you dodged it somehow you'd have been spoiled when UBW comes back. I'm surprised there's a single person on this board that didn't know that
It's super fucking obvious anyway
As a person without any sunk costs, Fate/Zero is the setup to the story, explains the mechanics, and is fantastic. If anything it'll set you up for dissapointment if you jump into the VN after that. However the Ufotable UBW anime is very good.
You can go down the VN rabbithole after you enjoy the glorious anime. Some people claim "The anime is their reward for waiting" (meaning VNfags), but you get to enjoy it first and foremost.
There's a reason F/Z sold so amazingly well and UBW isn't projected to sell even close.
You're misremembering. Shirou didn't drop in a bloody puddle in the VN. Shriou and Kuzuki clashed, both backed off, and then Saber intervened. DEEN made Shirou look bad.
yeah i really enjoyed how dark n suspensful f/z was, and so far f/sn is annoying how different it is.
the fighting scenes are pretty good but the moe characters piss me off at times
They clashed in the VN and knocked each other back. The main difference in the Ufotable version is that Shirou kept his projections a little longer, but I think that was to allow for a full shot of the swords before they disappeared.
Well remember, F/Z was a LN written by Gen Urobuchi.
F/SN was an otaku pandering eroge at first. However Nasu is pretty jewish so he re-released it without the ero scenes, in an attempt to pander to a large, more normalfag audience.
The anime is just another step towards that. It's a normalfag release without sex and playing up the action and "cool" shit, and downplaying his writing.
Sure there's some waifuism thrown in, but that's a far cry from eroge.
Nasu is trying to build up the Marvel of Japan. It's amazing how blindly /a/nons will defend him, not even thinking to second guess his financial and wanna-be-mainstream motives.
Yes, and this is the animation people who read LN's have to put up with.
>Fate/Zero is the setup to the story, explains the mechanics, and is fantastic
No one who watched Zero understood jack shit.
People read books for fun, it's difficult to imagine I know.
People read books with good writing for fun.
VNs are CYOA picture books.
Nasu is a hack that just writes whatever is the coolest at the time. It's cool, but it's not good writing.
If you watch the anime adaption it's easier to become engaged in the VN as you already know what you're in for, and, you get to find things you didn't know previously.
Oh, and uh, the whole story is there and you don't have to wait years for it. Plus, HA as a bonus.
I'll probably give the VN a shot just to be fair and balanced after the UBW anime is done. But I'm not succumbing to the level of forced fanservice. I'm flipping a coin or using an RNG to make all my decisions
It isn't as bad as you think. The translation was done by a high schooler and all of the 'fanservice' in the sequel is optional. You can ignore all of it if you truly want to.
FSN isn't exactly a proper CYOA. There are three stories, and two of them are locked initially. The choices you make are basically to avoid death states between the beginning and end of those stories.
>People read books with good writing for fun.
Have you ever read a western urban fantasy novel? Something like Jim Butcher's Dresden Files? Because I fail to see how Nasu's supposed hackishness is any worse than detective wizard versus wolfman.
What exactly are you comparing him to? Goethe? Dostoyevsky? Nabokov?
Honestly, the threads I guess. The OP was kind of cool as were the reveals later on, but i wanted more kirei
I know he dies. I couldn't care less about Rin or Saber and the waifu wars are annoying.
It seems like you have to drink the koolaid on shirou to like him, kind of like Shinji, but I think the comparison debases Shinji.
I basically know all the BS that happens in cour 2 but the battles and nasu asspulls are the reason it looks interesting.
I haven't even seen it and Rin is number one in my booty book.
Well, this could turn out to be very bland...
I love how this has become a warzone. I'm enjoying myself here... still downloading.
Shirou is very easy to like when you read the VN. You see his struggle over the entire story and hear everything worries and faces against.
I don't see what there is to really hate about him in the Ufotable version, but what he has against the VN version is that A. they haven't been really covering his inner thoughts and B. they've only covered the first half of the route. He hasn't exactly gone through his complete character arc yet.
>kirei I know he dies.
They made a prequel if you want more Kirei. The conclusion of his character is in "Heaven's Feel", which will be right after UBW.
>I love how this has become a warzone.
it invariably does as the neogaf arguments for how the butcher saved this anime along with his unriveled masterpiece madoka magica which saved anime as a whole
Better question: why does this little girl have puffy vulva?
Also several of the arguments ITT are about the anime adoption being superior to watch first, which has nothing to do with your strawman, as its referring to the ufotable UBW adaptation
I don't really like, visit there (I wasn't the guy who brought them up), but from what I've seen they were like, the only site that regularly had users thrashing UBW, and most of it came down to it not being Zero. Typical arguments, like it starring high school kids, or going back to old memes like "people die when they are killed" to hate Shirou (another fucking gem DEEN gave us).
Kara no Kyoukai is easily Nasu's best work.
The Fate series is comparatively terrible.
He wrote the novels based on knowing what was said in F/SN, and nothing more. The characters were named by Nasu, but he created all of them himself, except those who were already in F/SN.
The only thing they really made Shirou look better at was holding his projections longer. In the VN, they break when he and Kuzuki go at it, but in the show he keeps them.
I think they did it because of the way framed the shots. They waited until after the attack to show fully what he made to add a dramatic effect.
>normal people hate FSN because of how shit it is compared to a non-insertfagging anime
>insertfagging faggots angry that normal people hate their insertfagging anime/VN/show
Why am I not surprised?
It was a story Type Moon didn't feel like telling themselves, so they let someone else tell it. That's a totally different situation from Fate/Stay Night.
In practical terms we know that it didn't mean much, because Nasu has said he wanted to let Urobuchi write what he wanted. Urobuchi himself was more concerned about being true to the established setting and not disappointing fans. Approval is natural when working with someone else's copyright, but Nasu is definitely going to be a lot more involved when it's something reworking a story he actually wrote. See: Garden of Sinners.
It's the route that's shit so you don't have to worry
From a book with character design sheets and such.
There are a bunch of interviews that talk about how various characters turned out, Urobochi is only credited with Maiya Hisau as being his soul creation for Caster he said he ran out of ideas and Nasu nixed the one he had about a Chinese Xian so that he came up with Bluebeard. He also came up with the idea of Waver as a "King of Cowards" but said everybody fell in love with the character so he got reworked to the point of being completely different. Nasu says that he would have written Kariya differently and that he didn't expect Lancer to wind up as he did in the story.
Thats all I remember, it's not as clear cut as this guy made this guy, but obviously stuff like Kotomine and Kiritsugu was pretty much set in stone since it was already discussed in stay night.
That's been his plan for years. He had guest writers work on most of Hollow Ataraxia, had Urobuchi on Zero, gave out Prisma to an artist who made doujins that he liked, and even now he's handing off stuff to his friends and other people in the industry. Apocrypha, Strange Fake, Case Files.
Nasu made an interesting and popular world, and to capitalize on that, he allows other people to write for it. He makes money, they make money, and fans get more of what they want.
He's making Japan's Marvel.
Gotou-kun is best classmate.
Well, it actually is. Normally there's 50ish years in-between wars, so everyone who actually wants to participate has plenty of time to get their shit in order.
This time it was 10 years, so you had a double whammy: Several of the best battle-oriented mages who would have gone after the grail had died in the previous war, and the next generation hadn't quite taken their place yet, and besides that, those who would otherwise be interested were surprised by the announcement and decided they weren't prepared.
Additionally, four consecutive failed rituals and mutual kills probably turned off a lot of the more rational magi. That's why there are only two outside mages:
Bazette and the no-account loser who summoned Caster.
This is one of the reasons why its better to go from F/SN to to F/Z rather than the other way around.
Has it ever been stated why Waver didn't do anything regarding the 5th War? You would think he would at least have a passing interest, if not the desire to re-summon his husbando and go play at conquering the world again.
If you want an all out war, you look at the 2nd one. The 4th war was a bunch of adults thinking they're competent, while actually running around like a bunch of idiots, while the 5th had teenagers in over their heads, but actually succeeding.
I hate the new taiga design so fucking much, I hate whoever designed her gross-ass third worlder sandals.
>Has it ever been stated why Waver didn't do anything regarding the 5th War? You would think he would at least have a passing interest, if not the desire to re-summon his husbando and go play at conquering the world again.
I believe in the Waver Case Files he said he planned to go back for the next war and he would take his Saberclone with him.
F/Z starts by showing off its entier cast and then jumps you between the most action. It also has the rather stupid first encounter which is basically all the heroes waving their dicks around like a bunch of manbabies.
First half of Stay Night is always everybody spying on each other as Shirou gets slowly brought up to speed on whats going on.
The current anime ends about where things start to get more serious.
>being this mad over such a small detail
no, they're not, you clearly aren't /fa/. They disgusting clog-like abominations designed by some stylish Jap.
Taiga originally had a tasteful, modest design and now she's just dressed like a retard.
Nah dog, you see those all the time if you go
>Arcrueid is the main girl.
>Melty Blood is supposed to be based from Satsuki Route.
>Thinking the entirety of Melty Blood isn't a grand fucking mess of storytelling.
>Using its numerous example of harem to reinforce that Arcueid is somehow laissez faires about Shiki's infidelities.
>Ignoring how that theory flies right in the damned face of Ciel's route in Tsukihime.
I just don't know what to do with you sometimes, /a/.
The original work (the Fate/Stay Night visual novel) is fine as long as you have a tolerance for that kind of thing, it's actually pretty great if you can stick at it and have the required mindset. The problem is that the story arcs, each of which can take a good 15-20 hours to read, get successively better. Whilst I'm kind of partial to Unlimited Blade Works, most of the awesome stuff does happen in Heavens Feel.
Though Fate/Zero does kind of spoil some of Heavens Feels twists straight out of the gate.
The Fate/Stay Night anime does to some degree as well, though they wait until mid-season for that. Whilst I don't hate the show as much as others (I think the OST is pretty good!), it's certainly completely lacking the gravitas and depth of Fate/Zero, and it's also lacking it's production quality, and it's good adaptation sense. It's not even a particularly great version of Fate/Stay Night, let alone particularly great anime on it's own.
Unlimited Blade Works is pretty much just a overhaul of the second scenario from the studio who did Fate/Zero.
In Fate there is a huge complex of rule, mechanics, previsions and overall lore around magic, servants and all of that.
Then you read the VN (or better, anything Nasu-written) and there's always the exception of the rule fucking things up in it.
>Gae Bolg always hit
>not me because Luck rank
>not me because you trown it a projectile and i'm here laughing behind with 6-layered shield
>Fragaratch reverse the order ot activation of NP to kill the enemy
>screw that i'm Gae Bolg so you were dead as soon as we used them
And so on.
Granted, there's always the "explanation" so it's not like the lore actually falls apart (and that's where Nasu is really good at), but still feels like everybody is cheating most of the time.
Just, don't ever trust anything for granted.
Including characters behavior once shit hits the fan or you get to know them better.
Nazis vs. Allies vs. IJA/IJN.
Eventually the IJA managed to hijack the Lesser Grail and take it to Tokyo, but it went kablooey either because of Avenger or something else and ended up starting the Great Tokyo Fire. Or at least, a great fire in Tokyo, the timing is a little weird there.
Tohsaka actually won, kinda. He didn't get the grail but he got to marry and knock up an Edelfelt, the far superior outcome. That's why the Tohsaka are pretty strong despite only being mages for a scant few generations, and why Rin knows Gandr and other Finnish magic tricks. She and Luvia are distant cousins, unbeknownst to them.
outisde is populated with sandals, sandals that don't look like shit
Now for some of this
until we get actual scans.
I could say the same for Rin but she's still going around in a mini skirt.
Fate/waifu wars, bias, making up their own canon and implementing it into the site, misquoting quotes
It'd be so much work considering how large this company as become. they seem to make a new Fate story every other week.
Not in the Good End though, her girlboner for Shirou outweighs her desire to go commit honorable suicide in the name of Britain. It's the exact development Shirou hoped for in Fate. She has her own interests now, separate from her kingly duty. Eventually that will save her.
So who else actually ordered the BD Box? With all the extra footage, OST, and the short novel, all for 250 USD on Amazon it's kind of a steal comparatively.
Of course, the cover art is garbage but that's just Takeuchi being Takeuchi.
I think it was in episode 1, when Shirou's reflecting on the park, but I'm not sure. I haven't seen that episode since it aired
and I'd rather wait for the BD to rewatch it.
NeoGAF doesn't hate Fate/stay night. It's just one specific small group of people that do.
You can't talk about anything positive because of the mob mentality. I believe one of the moderators threatened to ban members for spoiling Fate/Zero.
With my katana in hand I promise to strike down all those who threaten to say negative comments on Saber
Hopefully the production material booklet that comes with the BD box has some key animation samples like this one.
If I remember right, he was threatening to ban people for talking about anything from the Nasuverse that wasn't F/Z in the F/Z thread. It wasn't just about spoilers, but about acknowledging that FSN exists.
Dude was a total asshole.
Oh, don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful ending. Her epiphany with Shirou in the church's basement really saved the route for me. It's gonna kill me to not see her get saved in the next couple routes.
I disagree with your disagreement. It was the perfect capper to Arturia and
It also fits beautifully with the legend of King Arthur. Arthur never died, he was whisked away to Avalon, that he would return at his country's darkest hour.
Saber has her best scenes in UBW anyway.
Just don't pick them your first playthrough, since you can't get the Good End on the first try anyway. Pick all the Rin choices, then go back and go with all the Saber choices.
He works as the perfect obstacle for Shirou to overcome in UBW.
Shirou is a faker, Gil is the original, Shrou makes copies, while Gil has the prototypes. Shirou's an imitation hero, Gil is the King of Heroes. After his fight with Archer, Shirou had to prove he had what it took to live up to his ideal, to be a hero, and thematically there really wasn't anyone better than him.
Those who think LE shits on CotD need to learn to read. Shirou was pursuing his ideal all his life, not Saber. And Saber thought it would be cool if they meet again even though that was pretty much impossible. Merlin just told her how, the rest was up to them. Saber waited and Shirou, unknowingly of it all, went further with his ideal.
Made it five seconds. This can't be real. This must be some fandub. Holy shit I need a smoke and a drink after that. What the fuck. Is there no fucking quality control in this industry? I could get my bro to call up his frat buddies, record them with my car's knock sensor and do a better job them that.
Does anyone know who James Harris is? He's listed as a composer for Type Moon all the way back to Tsukihime, but it's kind of a weird name, isn't it? Is it some guy's pseudonym, or is there an actual westerner working at TM?
Archer has the heart pendant, so when he was Emiya he must have been skewered by Lancer and saved by Tohsaka, but in that past, did she have Archer summoned as her servant? Did Archer go through the Fate route, or all them at once?
It's just as I remember it. I watched this show so many times on DVD, back before I discovered there was even a VN.
Voice acting is so bad its good in the same way that classic Resident Evil is.
I actually really liked the way that DEEN did the Saber vs Gilgamesh fight.
I was 15 at the time. I watched it, I think, six times? I watched Archer fight Berserker too many times.
When I discovered there was more to it and started watching the new version, I realized how terrible the original was. I already know all of the spoilers thanks to the type moon wikipedia but it's still lots of fun watching it all play out.
Yanagi's art is great, but he overdoes things. When referring to canonical sizes, Takeuchi's art is the best to look at.
How do you think the guys at DEEN feel about Ufotable's stuff? I mean even when put up against the movie their work looks worse than the show, so they can't even fall back on saying Ufotable had a better budget to work with.
They don't give a shit, their anime sold so fucking well.
Type Moon doesn't even wanna recognize their existence anymore.
No I haven't but I really should. I feel like I should experience it the way you guys all did. I still haven't seen the prequel! I just don't have the time; yet, here I am posting on 4chan regarding the female heroine's ass.
>I should experience it the way you guys all did.
Maybe you're already aware, but I feel like you don't fully understand one thing from the way you phrased this :
You are missing out on a lot of content. For starters, a third of the story is currently unavailable except by playing the VN, until Ufotable release their Heaven's Feel adaptation, but that's not all.
Any adaptation of a text-based story is going to be missing a lot of elements that aren't vital to the story, because there isn't isn't space for it.
Some details concerning lore, flavor, world-building, atmosphere, characters' inner thoughts, are all lost. Same for a dense novel adapted into a movie.
There is no way that this is true.
VN's are long as hell. Even Katawa Shoujo is longer then LOTR.
The wordcount of all the KS threads, if printed in size 12 Times New Roman font, spans the distance to the moon. Last I looked.
>Lord of the Rings is ~473,000 words
>Fate/Stay Night is 820,595 words
We sure do have time consuming hobbies.
