Episode 1/13 title has been revealed
"Where you belong"
Archer past episode?
Happening Status: TBD
Next scene in UBW is Shirou going to the church/Rin dream scene in the cemetery.
Neither of those scenes fit this title.
Archer past fits and could be used as a substitute for Rin's dream.
The artist forgot to put in Shirou's Kerry stage.
We won't know if all the shots of UBW are CG, but if you remember the preview for the second cours that shot zooms in on Archer and the hill of sowrds hence that's why CG was used there at least.
You'd be surprised. I haven't heard of anyone that has aside of some that apparently figured it out thanks to Shirou's projection, but those people are just a few out of the many.
It can be just about Shirou and where he belongs since he already lost in this HGW - his CS and servant.
New issue of Foxtail is out
BB does some things mostly
Also more of Hakuno talking to an insane yandere loli
>Shirou: In Rin's bosom
>Rin: Leglocking Shirou, patting imouto
>Saber: Avalon, chilling with fae bros
>Sakura: sharpening Shirou's sword by pegging him, cause he likes it in the butt. Also doting on onee-chan
Fixed for fine gentleman of refined taste.
There was a "leak" in the fall that showed there should 3 1-hour episodes.
IIRC it was the first episode, episode around the middle of the cour (Shirou v. Archer) and the final episode.
It actually was only the last episode that was confirmed for a hour long.
Still trusting Ufotable as they may still have one hidden in there or have their pacing figured out.
Well I guess it's not unfeasible that one of the episodes they'll show at the event is an hour. I mean realistically that's only really a little over 90 minutes considering the actual length of episodes.
Cour 2 doesn't need as much hour long episodes because the pacing of the route is more action based.
They tried really hard in cour one to pace it along with one hour episodes to keep the audience from losing interest. There's no way to lose interest in cour 2 because everything is already set up and the audience has become invested.
Im worried about how they will do the Shirou v. Archer and Lancer saving Rin scene moments since it is hard to imagine how it will be done versus the VN method of doing it.
Each of them need their own independent episode to cover them. Im assuming Ufotable will do it but we just have to wait.
They have easily enough time for Shirou /Archer for a single length episode. The scene in the VN was only about 30 minutes long and they've proven they can cover that same length in less than 5 in animated form.
It's a question of how to direct it is what I'm worried about. Considering it's mostly a battle of mindset. And they don't exactly have a good track record so far for that stuff.
I know it's not the same director but Kerry vs Kayneth reminds of a similar battle, except a mind game instead of battle of ideals. They really cut out a lot of depth from that fight with exclusion of Kerry's thought processes.
Does anyone have the webm version of this?
Reading through UBW recently I found there was like 20 minutes of pre-fight Archer just talking to Shirou and Saber. Pretty much his whole motivation and character in those minutes. It'd be lame but they'll probably have to cut most of it.
They showed Shirou denying Archer's words earlier so you would expect them to not write that off.
It will be interesting if they switch between perspectives during the fight. It would be insane if they went first person view during it.
They aren't going to cut that out. A episode has to be dedicated to Archer's motivation. Cutting it out kills so much of what UBW is.
>King of Heros do you have enough weapons in stock?
Will we be treated with a new wave of salty Gilfags at the of the 2nd cour?
>Impossible--------am I being cornered by such a sham..!?
>Damn----------Damn, damndamndamndamn...!!! I did not think I would have to use my sword against a lowlife like you...!
Why are you even stealing Shirou's lines?
>they'll never bring a case of beers into Archer's UBW just to sit down and chill, Shirou looking for interesting swords while Archer tells him stories about them
why was saying goodbye to Archer sadder than almost all of the Fate route?
>he let his past self win
>still lived and got the last word at the end
King of Heros? More like King of Cucks.
No one will see this because this is a dead thread, but
Arcueidis best girl.
Why? After everything is said and done the sisters truly love each-other and Rin is bi as fuck so I can see her enjoying Sakura's sakuras.
Whoever came up with her redesign should be executed on the spot.
Face it man, she wouldn't get the shivers at being called Onee-chan if she didn't like it. And Onee-chan could have been what she called her when she was little, née-san is the obligatory step up in respect when you grow older.
Not that I think there are any sexual connotations to it, I think she just likes being treated like an onee-chan, makes her feel all warm inside.
Considering that Rin also stalked Sakura a lot before the Grail War it wouldn't be strange if she started to steer into siscon territory under the right conditions.
Everyone in Japan has a thing about being called Onee-chan or Onii-chan, it's like THE thing. It's different than nee-chan, it's Onee-chan.
This shit is important, you just don't get it.
Anyone can fall victim to that attack in anime.
His death was far more embarrassing in UBW though. Even if people say otherwise, the guy appeared three times in that route, was competent the few times he did appear, nearly took down the beast far above everyone, and only lost because the thing he was fighting was beyond any servant as he underestimated what a monster it might be at that point.
In UBW, it's the worst sort of jobbing, you should be saying "I can't wait until they see the end of the current anime" more than anything. Gilgamesh literally had to do everything wrong for Shirou to have a chance, there's no bigger moment of jobbing in the game.
Shirou's power was a perfect counter to Gil's. UBW is also pretty broken if you think about it. He copies the stuff from the people who used the weapons as well as the weapons themselves. That's why he could go toe to toe with him.
>Kirei fight cut
I will literally shit in a box and send it to UFOtable.
I didn't think it was embarrassing when I read it, I was just happy to see him get put in his place since he was such a cocky piece of shit. He got hard countered. Seeing him realize that he was outmatched while inside UBW was so fucking satisfying.
It's my most anticipated after Archer vs Shirou.
>How hard is it to understand that UBW is faster?
Only when the reality marble is up you stupid fuck, Gilgamesh had to arrogant all over the place in order for Shirou to have a chance to even get that far.
It's not that "Shirou is just always faster ten out of ten even without the reality marble up always". He's faster when the reality marble is up, because the blades are already there. At any point before Shirou floundered around not understanding his own abilities before he finally understood, GIlgamesh had dozens of chances to just end it, if he wasn't a dumb fuck.
Gil lost the moment Shirou put up UBW. If he had ended it before then sure, but he had no intention of doing that. He didn't know Shirou was going to pull out a reality marble, and by then it was too late.
I don't remember Shirou ever materializing more than two NPs at once, and Gil can shoot a whole fuck-ton at the same time for a sustained amount of time. There's no reason to believe UBW has that capacity.
>Gil lost the moment Shirou put up UBW.
Shirou himself said two or three times even after the reality marble went up, that if he lets up for a second it's just over, this is his only and golden chance. He cannot let Gilgamesh regain his train of thought at all, he has to stay off balance. It's not auto-win at all, Shirou had to keep him pressured.
However that's not what people have been talking about so far, people have been saying that Gilgamesh had to do everything stupid plot-wise in order for Shirou to have a chance to put up the reality marble at all. The entire fight was "Gilgamesh arrogants around and does stupid shit, so that it's possible for Shirou to have a chance, in an awkward way".
>I don't need armor
>I may as well stall this battle the fuck out, it's just a game after all. Doesn't matter
>Hah, I think I'll just try to match what this kid throws at me exactly, as I watch him evolving mid-fight. It humors me
>I can see this kids circuits, I can see what he's going to pull out before he does it, Nasu confirms Gilgamesh knows that Shirou had a reality marble or could see it, even during the fight Gilgamesh states that he can see through someones circuits as he said something like "Hah, of course I can do that much, magus were common shit back in my day. If I couldn't do this much I'd be at a disadvantage against them". He literally knows what Shirou is loading up before he brings it out.
>Pfft, whatever mongrels, not like this matters
>I'll just keep dicking around the entire time.
>I had a chance to kill this kid back at the castle, but my suit was getting dirty.
People are saying "GIlgamesh couldn't have known about reality-", it's already confirmed he knew. There's the entire thing during the fight when he said he could see circuits, Rin has that whole explanation that "Gilgamesh saw Archer as his natural enemy, that's why he went out of his way to take him out, and wouldn't confront him earlier", people that think Gilgamesh didn't kn
>Cailburn and knowledge of Saber's fighting stye is more than enough for Shirou to over power Gill.
Right, because that EXACTLY what happened in Fate route when he did EXACTLY THAT SAME THING AGAINST GILGAMESH, AND LOST IN SECONDS.
How much do people just not remember the game at this point?
Once the reality marble was up, he was trying to kill Shirou, he was just getting overpowered. That's why he tried to pull out Ea(although it fails because Shirou ain't putting up with that shit). Gil literally says, "Kuh-----you are stronger than me here...!"
Shirou had to fight as hard as he could, but he was beating Gil because Gil is shit at swordfighting.
You do know that Gilgamesh was more serious in the fate route than in the ubw one? Also, Gilgamesh lost Kire as a master at the point in the game which weaken him greatly. However, I'm not downplaying Gill since Shirou noted he needs to be on his toes on all time one slip up and it's all over.
