Your seifuu is adorable!
Let me hear them singing!
Feat Nakamura Yuuichi :
You're already leading off with the best one so what's the point of having this thread anymore.
The all-time best one coming through.
Have a Hayami and Touyama duet.
She is great in YKA.
Villain roles are always fun for seiyuu, especially when it's outside their usual type-casting.
Also, I want Aoi to dominate me, etc
I always post my seiyuufu in these threads, so for this thread I'm posting my second favorite. She is truly a miracle of the universe.
I think I'm in love with Suzuko Mimori. I don't think she voices a single role that I haven't loved.
Currently enjoying her in pic related.
I fucking love Mai Nakahara and I'm sad she only has 2 roles next season.
>It's impossible to marry a voice
Feels bad man
Ai Kayano. Dem Kayanos. And yes I have fapped to this.
So enlighten me guys. What's the appeal of Mizuki Nana? What's she best role? Why are some people praise her like she's the best seiyuu ever?
>Top j-pop artist, i.e godly singing voice
>so popular that she can get show to have 2nd season i.e symphogear
people like her as a singer more, so than group just carries over to liking her a VA
>>so popular that she can get show to have 2nd season i.e symphogear
She willed a Season 3 as well.
>just popular as a singer and thus has a big group of dedicated fans
This pisses me off to no end about Asia's culture in general, "idols" and really dumb shit like this. It's worse than Hollywood.
I wouldnt call Nana an idol based on other idols. She isnt promoted in the sample way as babymetal or Momoiro Clover Z or even akb48.
There isnt much of that whole cutie/pure thing going on.
Your words don't correlate with what I'm seeing at all. She looks like she's being marketed by her only redeeming feature which is supposedly to be cute and pure. I could be wrong though because I'm judging only by what I've seen without looking things up.
But that aside brings me to my next point of "idol" singers being loved the hell out of but really almost none of them have any musical talent worth a damn. Like if they went to a legitimate singing school they'd fail all exams. They all sing so damn nasal as well like that's a Japanese thing. When I found out that one of my favourite JRPGs had a foreign singer sing the main theme instead of their Japanese singer I was laughing, and unsurprisingly she did a much better job. The Japanese version is out there too but it's too weak.
I was surprised when I found out Akeko was one of the tetsu-musu's.
It has less to do with her talent as a seiyuu and more of her talent as a singer and her market appeal. She's actually mainstream which not a lot of seiyuu can boast about.
well based on wiki I am wrong but at the same time Hanakana isnt on the list
which is kinda stupid
wait what ... how many song have you listen too?
Well OP has already won the thread.
Glorious Saori the underrated VA.
Nana will be foreveralone.
But considering the shit she went through earlier in life, I don't blame her. I'd be scared of intimacy too.
Asami Imai however doesn't have that excuse and she's older. She will be always alone, just like her character.
>he looks like she's being marketed by her only redeeming feature which is supposedly to be cute and pure
She was constantly beaten by her father and her teacher molested her for 5 years.
What do you expect, Noire has no friends!
>she had been living with him and dealing with him touching her for so long that she ended up developing stockholm syndrome
>she was only able to leave when she actually told someone about it and was told to get the hell out of there
Nana had a hard life. If she lived her whole life unmarried I wouldn't say I'm surprised.
Where are my Yukachi bros at?
Nana was bullied, called an attention whore for always volunteering to be class rep, treated like crap because she was poor.
Romi Park was apparently getting shit from people at Sunrise when voicing Loran in Turn A Gundam because her korean heritage (really, a Korean with the last name Park? What are the odds?). Tomino flipped his shit when he found out about it, because apparently prejudiced attitudes makes him go berserk.
>treated like crap because she was poor.
This is the one thing that seems to just instantly make me angry. It's one thing to bully others for stupid petty reasons like looks, or somewhat understandable ones because their attitude makes them a shitty person.
But because of who your parents are? That makes my blood boil. It's something you never had control over in your life.
Some guys tried to have a revenge for Sugita when he entered high school because his older brother had apparently terrorized them, but he answered by sayng "I'll now reproduce yesterday's Doreamon" and the guys lost their will to fight.
Sugita has pretty much said that his adlibbing and comedic skills developed as a defense mechanic by him being involved in so many awkward situtations during his youth and that people shouldn't voluntarily follow his example if they can avoid it.
Any source ?
Love this nigga.
It was something Romi once said when talking about her experience in working on the show. A guy talked shit to her because of her heritage, and Tomino verbally ripped him a new asshole for it. Sadly I can't find the source.
Please, we all know who he truly loves.
More like he just used him for grinding.
In general, I'm surprised how little he has told about his brother. We know that his mother often wears his clothes without permission and feels that teaching Sugita the secrets of her pickled rakkyo would made her existence meaningless, his father can communicate in English and really likes
KugiRie, his grandfather being a really selfish and stubborn man who does whatever he likes on his own property (like pissing on the vegetable field) and there are too many mentions of his cousin Kazuyki to even count (being the person who introduced Sugita to Gundam probably being most important), but his brother is pretty much a mystery.
Other than the story I posted earlier, "buying Sweet Home instead of Tetris" and Sugita saying back around Sweet Junction that there was a period when he wouldn't return home until night because his brother's girlfriend felt uncomfortable, I don't really remember anything major.
I noticed her first in GJ-bu but didn't get to love her voice until Love Live
>Sugita saying back around Sweet Junction that there was a period when he wouldn't return home until night because his brother's girlfriend felt uncomfortable
I mean I know the girl could've just been a bitch, but I wonder if Sugita was one of those kids that was just really uncomfortable to be around.
as a boy.again but not just when he's crossdressing this time.
Signed the fuck up
I can actually write to Aoi through her website, and I know about a few people in 2ch that actually got a reply from her in the past.(Back when she was less busy/huge, admitedly.)
Maybe in the future.
tktt seems to really have a lot fun with whoever she is voicing, I always get that impression from hearing her.
She is quite a ham.
Why are my favorite seiyuus always doing awesome duos?
I can't handle all this double perfection.
>I want to be reborn as a cat. The really wealthy one.
Holy shit this lazy fuck.
The thing that amuses me about her is that she seems to go above and beyond when it comes fan appearances and events. She always seems to be either in some sort of costume, in character or both.
>no Ikaros in the picture
Deserves a spot more than whoever that girl was in Red Data Girl.
I enjoy the yuri service, at the very least.
The seiyuu awards ceremony allowed me to realize that in spite of all the hype Amamiya is getting as the next niwaka yome she wasn't even the most attractive girl on the stage.
She really does seem to have undergone some sort of metamorphosis since her early days where she looked kind of fat in the face and squat. Now she looks like she actually somehow got younger and her face is pretty thin and fresh, but it could just be makeup. She's also like 2 inches taller than the national average for women which might as well make her a giant person compared to her contemporaries which is why she always seems to tower over everybody in group photos. Then again this could just be cause she always seems to be standing right next to Yuki Aoi who is fucking tiny.
She's starting to more, though not to the extent of say a Maaya Uchida, Aya Hirano or god forbid Yurika Kubo who used to be and still is a gravure model. Run 早見 沙織 in google image search and see what you come up with.
She's pretty much the most popular female seiyuu in the industry at this point. She's literally everywhere next season and practically in every other video game coming out now too. If she's still underrated it's not going to be for much longer. If anything I'm worried about her getting overexposed and backlash coming against her as a result cause I really do like her and don't want the industry to ruin a good thing by over-promoting her.
>practically in every other video game coming out now too
I feel like her video game roles are niche as fuck, though.
I honestly don't think UNIBEL and Battle Princess of Arcadias are that popular. Then again, she's also in Tales of Xillia/2.
Yurika Kubo hands down. Aside from Hanayo in Love Live she's barely had anything besides Girl A/Student B type credits or the odd one off named role but good lord if she isn't the hottest person to ever work in the industry.
Overexposure isn't such a problem if you're actually good.
Off the top of my head
Plume in Battle Princess of Arcadias
Mai Natsume in Blazeblue
Kaede Takagaki in iDOLM@STER
Meltlilith in Fate/Extra CCC
Lei Lei in MVC3
Orie in Under Night In Birth
One of the heroines in the last 3 Shining Games
Lyudmila Ignatova in Gunslinger Stratos
Countless shitty cell phone game and dating sims
Obviously she reprises her characters in the game spin offs of popular anime too. It depends on what you want to call niche though as far as she goes. Obviously she's not getting Triple A game exposure unless you want to consider Square Enix stuff Triple A because Japan doesn't really have much of a Triple A gaming scene.
If I was going to be completely shallow I think I'd go with Sumipe or Ricca-sama personally.
This niggers gets.
Her range is unreal.
Yes. Her role as Sento seems to be the most surprising in contrast to her other few roles. I thought it was crazy she was Ruuko as well as Sento.
Never heard of it. I might try it out
since almost miraculously, her character is also. I really think she showed range after voicing Sento, so I'm sure she'll get a good amount of recognition for it. dubbedby the only VA I follow and like
I wish Kaorin Fukuhara would get more roles in more noticeable anime.
I also like Kana Asumi's nasal burble (her being in Non Non Biyori was the main reason I watched it).
More seriously though I think she's had about 2 lines on TV in I forget what episode because that's how Cinderella Girls rolls.
Has anyone uploaded the IDOLM@STER Million Live BD yet?
This season, more or less?
Joukan best girl.
Blade & Soul wasn't quite a year ago yet.
Oh, right, that would also be good
