>>122368557 I wouldn't say it's a 'wound that won't heal'. It seems to be very well healed, they both seem to be pretty over it and accepted it. Sure he didn't find a new girlfriend or anything but then again he's a lolicon Otaku so it's kind of unlikely. I mean he doesn't spend his time mourning her so he seems pretty fine.
Has anime/manga made anyone else a lot more emotional? I cried more at this scene than I did about family members dying. I'm convinced this medium has made me a pussy bitch, because I get really emotional even over things that aren't that sad.
>>122368642 That reminds me, why do comedies often have tearjerking stuff in it? We have a contrasting mellow song as an ED in Seto no Hanayome. Then, Ika Musume episode 6. K-ON has several moments too. Is it on purpose?
>>122368642 I don't know man. Unless you're talking about some Meta /a/-board culture stuff I don't realy know why this should be a 'wound that'll never heal'. Konata and her Dad seem pretty over it, even making jokes and the mom's ghost seems to be OK with the whole situation as well. Sure it was a bit feelsy but noone was really mourning or grieving so I, as the viewer didn't do that either.
>>122368797 It's just that the three parties involved seem happy already. I guess losing your mom when you're young, losing lover when she's young or losing your family and never get to watch your daughter grow up with you are all wounds that might heal but will always hurt, but all of them seem to be dealing well with it.
