Is this some kind of joke?
It's the guy's fault that you cried because you "had" to cut contact with him when you were possibly the only friend he had growing up? That due to your treatment he had to learn how to talk to people because he was probably told his interests were "weird" and "disgusting" and had nobody else to talk to because of it?
Getting upset over the guy you like praising somebody else's work over your own is one thing, but stabbing your friend in the back (childhood friend no less) for the sake of making friends and looking normal is one of the few inexcusable things one could do.
Three episodes focused on her and this is what we get yet Utaha only gets one. I was rather indifferent to her before this, but what the fuck. This is Manami level bitch behavior.
ok good, I thought something was seriously messed up about this whole conflict. It's one thing to get jealous over him liking someone else's work over her's. But to actually get upset about it? Seriously?! To the point where she doesn't speak to him? Really. I mean, yeah, maybe he shouldn't have praised about it as much as he did in front of her. I'll give her that. But, abandoning a friend who like the same stuff you do, THAT YOU ALSO INTRODUCED HIM TO, just to fit in with everyone else? Shit's fucked up.
>Wrecking your social life forever is your choice, expecting someone else to follow you is asking for too much.
Then completely cut your ties with them, don't fuck them up and just go
>L-Let's still be friends, okay?
>Why couldn't either of them figure out e-mail, or pick up a phone, or just maybe fucking hang out somewhere other than school?
You realize there were elementary schoolers, right? Elementary schoolers, especially in Japan, have essentially no agency as a human.
>Eriri's parents sell porn for her, I don't think they'd give a fuck.
Didn't come till later.
>Aki literally doesn't even have parents because he was spawned from a pool of jizz-covered LNs.
Then who the fuck is gonna buy him a cell phone, not like he can afford one as a fucking elementary schooler.
I've stalled this show because it didn't seem to be going anywhere. The Episode 0 thing was a lot more interesting than the main show turned out to be. Just an otaku ranting about character archetypes in what I guess was supposed to be cleverly self-commentary? But it's not new or clever really. And it doesn't go anywhere. In 3 episodes he's still trying to write a premise and still trying to get people to work with him, and I find it hard to be engaged in the romance aspects when the characters don't do anything except sit around talking about VNs.
The lesson is, don't expect people to just back you up after forsaking them. Eriri complains about trying her best and getting jack shit, turns out she didn't give her best at all.
A-1 logic going back as far as stuff like OreImo. You might notice a lot of their adaptations have a really screwy idea of the way the world works because they're producers outlook is mostly centered around pandering to otaku. Everything tends to have to be viewed through the lens of how a selfish shut-in otaku would feel about a situation otherwise yeah it makes absolutely no sense at all. In any case the original author of this story claims to have lost sway with the anime to the producer a long time ago, the former of whom had some more specific character points in mind he wanted to show and the latter of which just wants to pander with attractive female designs and thinks that anything else doesn't really matter because the target audience doesn't really care about coherent story and character development anyway. Both are pretty much right.
Wow what a fucking bitch, the fuck am I watching? I can hardly believe this
Meanwhile Utaha drop everything she's doing to help the MC if he has a problem, not to mention Kato
That's really disappointing
He could stop acting like a faggot and hide his power level. and honestly this arc was just for them to shout what is in their heart all the things they had bottled.
Christmas arc is when they finally mend their relationship.
>He could stop acting like a faggot and hide his power level
Sounds like you're the faggot, anon.
He's an internet celebrity and infamous through school and has a harem of beautiful girls (and supposedly quite a few friends we never see) because he doesn't hide his power level. Why would he ever hide it?
>"I wanted to get back at those jerks who split us up!"
>proceed to work on hentai
Working on same kind of garbage that made peoples who like it suffer so much, bravo Eriri bravo.
I'm glad best girl wins.
Nah. She's too innocent for that. She only cares about having fun with Tomoya and the rest in the circle. She has never once cared about status or popularity. Hell, she doesn't even hide the fact that she's into otaku stuff to other people.
