This is Kyoto Animation's next anime
Can they redeem themselves after Amagi Brilliant Park?
You can tell immediately that the black haired girl is already best girl.
AmaBuri was always just a paycheck anime, it was obvious from the first promo images. This project seems like the kind KyoAni would actively want to lavish time on.
Amagi was alright. Especially since it was pretty clearly something that they were only doing to make some cash. Hibike! seems like the kind of thing KyoAni would really put their all into to make it great. I'm very excited. Also, does anyone know if the novel has been translated anywhere? I haven't had any luck despite some serious searching. I know the second one hasn't, since it came out like 10 days ago, but the first one's been out for like a year and a half.
Lots of new images in this recent thread:
It's kind of sad that something KyoAni is doing to make some quick buck like Amaburi now means they'll only put minimal effort towards it, while before they used to give their all when working on the same kind of project (which was the only kind of project they worked on pre-chu2).
Amaburi was okay
>One of the girls likes the teacher.
>Especially since it was pretty clearly something that they were only doing to make some cash.
Nah, bro. It wasn't made for a buck, it was made because Gatoh and Takemoto are BFFs.
Literally every new Kyoani show
Give it a rest people. This idea of Kyoani needing to be redeemed every time their put out a new show is bordering on being an actual meme.
10 minutes in paint character sheet. The first row is freshmen, the second row is sophomores, the third row is seniors and the last row is for adults (Adviser, Homeroom teacher, Kumiko's sister). Sapphire goes by the nickname Midori. Haruka is the president and Asuka is the vice president.
Missing are another 20 girls to be introduced and a majority of the woodwind instruments like the clarinet and flutes
All the girls from this show make my heart go dokidoki. Every single one of them.
She reminds me of KyoAni Shop girl.
There will be a lot of honking in this serie. I'm so hyped.
Will this show be washed down with fanservice? I'm not anti-fanservice, but I liked how KyoAni used to pull off a good cartoon without stooping to the regular Otaku-pandering flesh decorations that most studios rely on over substance.
Think about stereotypical black American names that are written in 12314014 ways, except this time with kanji to make it even worse.
Amagi Brilliant Park is very fansevicey because Shoiji Gatoh loves that shit and Takemoto is nowhere near as reluctant to indulge in it as Yamada or Ishihara. There's no reason to assume it'd be reflective of Hibike! Euphonium at all.
