because the ride never ends
>tfw the ride never ends
im actually about to watch Shugo Chara with a girl over the internet
im waiting for her to say 'go' before i hit play.
I managed to pirate Total War: Shogun 2 and make it work on Win 8.1 so I'm hooked to it right now.
Where the fuck are your subs Chaika?
I'm not gonna say don't watch it or do, but I killed myself when the TV series ended but then a movie was announced so I fought my way back out of hell to see it.
It changed me a lot.
Dicking around here before Fallout. Gochuumon is up next before bed.
Little substance but it's cute as fuck.
I actually uploaded a rare torrent of S1 to AB not long ago. Just wish more than 1 person grabbed it.
i watched 6 episodes
i feel like i'm watching a filler episode then plot comes out of nowhere and now its no longer filler but then it goes back to being filler before all is said and done
Well that tends to happen when you are embarking on an anime that has 100+ episodes
btw only the first 50 episodes are good. when you start watching 'shugo chara party' you start hating the series.
Go pick up a second monitor at goodwill for like 15 bucks, then come back.
In what universe?
I've never understood how some people can get by using one site at a time, much less reading only 1 thread.
There are some anime with a lot of long talking pauses in the action/plot where you don't need to actually see the screen. Most anime aren't ones where you can't bear to look away from the screen sometimes. It's just not that engaging a medium overall.
Why not F5 your threads here when you have a good chance?
And I see that adblocker jab, faggot. A lot of page ads get broke from relying on flash which autoblocks for me. I don't mind streaming ads and kind of enjoy their goofiness sometimes. Everything else I'm just too lazy about and tend to avoid sites with sketchy ads.
Blocking ads is nice, but if you're in it for security you really need some form of script control like scriptsafe or noscript, depending on your browser.
Also, >all those kill pages
I agree with you on the script control. It's honestly just been a case of me never getting around to it. I accidentally visit a sketchy enough site to fuck my PC up like once a year and that's about it. Any identity shit someone wants stolen is already taken by now I'm sure and all anyone would get off this PC are things like steam password or the fact that I watch animu. I don't use Kikebook or other social Jews and my finances are all on paper. I don't have much to lose.
That's why people hate on adblockers? That's ridiculous when it takes seconds to whitelist a site. The benefits far outweigh the slight rare inconvenience.
Plus you can get malware from any site with ads. All it takes it one misclick and not having AV software with perfectly updated lists that include that specific infection.
I could only afford 8GB of RAM and I'm not closing tabs just so I can play games with my browser still up for looking shit up. I mainly just kill Pixiv tabs I intend to view later because it eats so much RAM.
And of course I use Ghostery customized to block damn near everything that's not needed for basic site functionality.
Your computer won't be fucking up EVER from malware if you take appropriate precautions and know not to do stupid shit like visit .ru sites.
Why deal with that hassle even once a year?
Good AV software, Keyscrambler, ad and script blockers, and maybe Spybot are all you need to guarantee you never get infected unless it's due to user error.
And that's ignoring the privacy benefits you apparently don't give a shit about.
I have no idea why people hate on adblockers. I think they're a great tool so long as people aren't shitty and whitelist sites they want to support. I just choose not to use them at all for asinine reasons. I'm not disagreeing with any of your points, I just simply don't care enough.
Also, since everyone is sharing their desktop, let's see if I can't piss a few more people off before I go to bed.
>1 screen laptop
Why would anyone give a shit. Though I recently tried using Onetab and it killed them all instead of working properly.
I had about twice and many open in Chromium. Also Chrome has 20 or so booru tabs because I'm autistic about saving anime pics.
The only thing that pisses me off here is that you're watching a show out of season and it's not even that old. I know we joke about backlogs and shit here but seriously, keep on top of your shit /a/.
Did someone say tabs?
Because it's procrastination and that bugs me which is what the OP was after. Even if you watch like 15 shows a week that's only like 7 or so hours, that's less time than you should play an instrument if you're learning.
KyoAni gets a lot of shit for no reason, it's understandable.
I had about that many archive tabs open until last month I realized some had been sitting over 6 months without being touched and weren't even relevant anymore.
They get a lot of shit because they can't into relationships.
We didn't even get a fucking chuu2 kiss.
Sometimes I just prioritize my backlog over currently airing shows. I also usually only watch a couple shows from their first episode, because I like to let three or so episodes pile up so I can get some idea of the show before I start watching.
>Just finished the ep
>no fucking kiss
Still cute as hell, though. Good note to call it a night on.
I usually start with 5-6 shows a season and end up at 2-3 pretty quickly. I spend the rest of my time doing non-anime related stuff, picking random shows that fit whatever mood I'm in (usually ultra-shonen or SoL moe blob), or I pick up on something I heard was good. I've mostly given up on my actual backlog list. I haven't deleted the file with the actual list yet, though.
Anyways, g'night /a/.
