>It's all about Yuki now
Funny. It'll be sad to see this show bombing and then we never getting the remaining novels adapted anymore.
Well, it's not like they could get to any ending even if they adapted everything, considering how one doesn't exist...
There was a pre-screening today in Japan. All the VAs made an appearance after the show. for a Q&A Here's someone's impressions( in Japanese.)
Other tweets seem to be positive.
When Kyon didn't press enter, the events of the two days were erased. He instead joined the Literature club earlier in December after Nagato got her club closure notice. Tsuruya is still mad at Kyon for how he approached Mikuru but they don't explore that, being a comedy and all. Puyo also added Tsuruya and Sonou's rivalry from Haruhi-chan, although she's now a gym teacher like in the VN parody they did.

Never happened. This isn't some alternate reality within the Haruhi universe, this is an entirely different universe.
Haruhi has always been unattractive.
Unlike Mikuru who has her cuteness and sexiness going for her, and Yuki who has her dandere thing and petite form going for her, Haruhi is plain and really nothing special to look at at all.
Brown hair? Really? She might as well be 3DPD.
But it is anon. However, it is a different interpretation of events from what was exposed in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya; it is as if the Yuki-chan is an alteration of the alternate reality from the movie.
I still can't believe they're turning that trash spin-off manga into an anime while we never got a third season of Haruhi.
I was hoping it was a little bit more than this. I'm all for Human Yuki as a bit of fun since "Disappearance" made her less of a Rei clone and ironically brought the Haruhi cast full circle from not being slice of life high school to being slice of life again.
Doesn't Yuki get in an accident where a different Yuki takes her place in the manga anyway ?
I wanted her to go into JAV.
Imagine her doing cosplay JAV's as Haruhi with the voice.
It's a shame he'll have so little time on screen that even characters forgets about him. Being Koizumi is suffering.
>mfw when people claim to like Nagato but aren't disgusted by this total rape of her character.
I think the same, but I also have a feeling that it's just how different it looks compared to the main series.
Looks pretty comfy in itself, the art style might just take time to get used to.
>The old Yuki herself wanted it to happen.
But that is wrong you fucking faggot.
Didn't any of you fags watch the heartwarming ending where Yuki was accepted the way she was without needing to turn into some generic shy loser?
One of the most fucked on the scene too.
Why does that Haruhi look so much like a Haganai character to me? The eyes and head shape are really similar, or something.
Let's face it anon. Had Kyon picked her she would have been fucking ecstatic. It's only because he said he liked her current version that she came to be ok with it.
It depends on who's happiness you want most. Yuki's or Kyon's.
I'm not gay anon, are you?
She could have been happy had Kyon allowed it.
I just pointed out that it is obvious she is happy with herself as long as Kyon is happy with her. But it doesn't compare to the potential happiness she could have had.
The bait in these threads gets better and better.
Why'd they change Kyon, he was perfect as is
Have you read the LNs? Because that is so heavily implied there that you could almsot say that it is literally stated. There is a scene that basically goes like this: "Yuki, why did you do this (limiting her abilities)?" Yuki: "Because I want to."
Puyo just uses a style closer to the animators in Haganai. There's only so many anime faces out there.
Kyoani can't count to three, just like Gaben
No, she really literally says it. She is
talking to a temporal clone of herself who wants to synchronize with her, but she denies it because she says that she likes her life more if she soesn't know about the future.
Such a fate of best girls.
>That still doesn't necessarily mean that she isn't into Kyon and takes his advice on a number of things
That is true and there is nothing wrong with it. The point is that Yuki wanted Kyon to decide because she wasn't sure which was the better reality, but that she is still someone who can make choices for herself.
Even in the spin off haruhi is for Kyons cock.
My only regret is that Endless Eight only lasted eight episodes.
Well, he walked home with Haruhi and Asakura HAPPILY!
Which is kind of the point really. If it could have been a spin off with robot or alien Yuki and Kyon getting together that would've been great.
I'll settle for this fluff and mush.
She also values Kyon's autonomy. There's a reason that after she had set everything up so that Kyon would fall in love with her, she still left the decision in Kyon's hands. It's safe to say that she wouldn't be happy unless Kyon was happy.
...which is why this spinoff is so fucked. It's glorifying all the wrong things.
Asakura shows that interfaces both have and can chose to express emotions. Yuki is the way she is by choice, and because the Data entity expects her to act like an observer. After the film Kyon removes the second limitation. Yuki is the way she is by her own volition.
The table is clearly at waist height. Kyon is sitting down.
Do you even 3 point perspective?
Kyon is the best for sure, It's sad that the author mined Yuki in every Novel after the Dissapearance because he noticed she was too OP for the plot to remain interesting.
If only Nagaru Tanigawa could write epics we would be have a good evolution after the events of the surprise.
I totally agree with you. But Yuki-chan isn't canon and hasn't been written by the original author. I like to shit on it but seriously, just don't take it for more than what it tries to be: a spin-off with no incidence on the real story and characters.
Yuki has already done far too much things for the SOS Brigade.
It should be Koizumi's time to shine. He did something cool in Surprise, but I want more.
I for one think that a good plot twist would be nice, what if this time Kyon dissapears and haruhi is bat-crazy about it.
Or maybe a 3 years timeskip after he vanished.
After this long without any new story, we need something really drastic.
Who is floating? Kyon is sitting in a slumped position.
Seriously if you want to complain about this picture than focus on Haruhi. She's the one at a odd angel if you think too hard about the implied angel of the floor and her legs.
I think the next novels should focus on the origin of the whole Haruhi=God thing. Which is probably Kyon. Having him disappearing or something like that could work, I guess.
Typical SOS Brigade shenanigans or having Kuyoh making a comeback probably wouldn't cut it, after we've seen
how OP Yasumi was.
It truly seems that Nagaru Tanigawa put himself into a dead end, the next novel needs to be way better than Melancholy, Disappearance and Surprise due to the delay and that is just as hard as to ask Tolkien to write something better than LoTR.
Surprise could be a good ending tbh but I want more.
>the dumb as shit anachronic airing of season 1
>adapting Episode 00 and Live Alive before Sigh
>adapting Day of Sagittarius before... any of the actually important, more interesting stories from books 5 and 6, really
>rushing Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody in one episode, when they could've split it comfortably across two, if not for fucking E8
>putting the scene where Kyon tries to tell Haruhi the truth, thus kicking off the entierety of Sigh, as an epilogue to Sigh
>all of it literally just to be lol so randumb
If someone in 2006 had told me that my favouriote LN series adapted by my favourite animation company could make me rage so hard that I'd want to punch something solid, I wouldn't have believed them... but, hey, here I am.
>complaining about broadcast order because ADHD
>forgetting about the existence of the chronological order
>implying there's any book 5-6 story left that'd fit in S1 and 2
>implying Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody deserved more than one episode
When did Tanigawa put the scene where Kyon tries to tell Haruhi the truth by the way?
As someone that watched it while it was airing and raged hard with every anon here, I do agree with you.
It's shit to anyone that watches it after though, the whole experience was waiting one more week without knowing if that hell would finally be over.
I agree that the time could have been used to adapt some other story.
>I agree that the time could have been used to adapt some other story.
Like what? Vol 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are out.
Vol 6 is entirely out as it features many post-Disappearance elements.
Vol 5 was entirely adapted, except Snowy Mountain Syndrom.
Vol 1 to 4 were all adapted.
I actually can't believe KyoAni hasn't made an OVA with Snowy Mountain Syndrome yet.
It could serve as a test if people want more haruhi if that's what they're worried, also the money.
