>it's about school kids who get super powers
>It's about a magical school, rivalries, and shitty forced harem
There's that buzzword yet again.
>MC doesn't look like much now but has more potential than anyone that has ever been seen
Literally Homywood-level shit humor. If I wanted to get my amusement out of laughing at people embarrassing themselves I'd have watched a Holywood romantic comedy. I turned to anime exactly because I cannot stand this shit
Body swapping gets written that way because otherwise it's horribly depressing.
>WE GOT ONE EPISODE LEFT TO WRAP EVERYTHING UP FUCKFUCKFUCK
>it's about school kids
>the show from which your reaction image is
>the show from which my reaction image is
>the most popular girl of the school likes the main character
>main character is oblivious of the popular girl love for him
>main character is not popular, not an examplar student, not a gangster, and his hobbies are awfully mundane, lowest denominator shit, often picked up due to family or friends
>MC is weak, useless and is mostly comedic relief.
Persona 3's another good one, but I was thinking of Ga-Rei for that example
Started reading the manga recently, it's pretty juvenile but strikes a good mix of dumb-as-hell action and character drama without trying to be DEEP. Not winning any awards in my book, but it's entertaining.
>he was just your average unkempt hair down to earth boring guy, until she came along and changed everything
>mc is actually highly competent and doesn't take shit from bitches
>fundamentals of economics
I don't get it. Why aren't there more main characters with strong personality who are actually capable of doing shit?
>there are only female pilots/wizards/mages etc.
>male MC is the first and only male pilot/wizard/mage etc.
>look it up on Bakamanga
>"Adapted from a Light Novel"
Gee, how did I know
>It's about super fighting robot that look like middleschool girls trying to get dicked by the MC
>Lots of boobs a no bishies
It annoys me when there are no males in the show whatsoever and looks as though females reproduce by binary fission or some other bs. No one has a fazha.
nice dubs, but that was shitty on quite a handful more of levels
>MC waits until after he gets his ass kicked to use his strongest attack
>it's not even animated
So the harem eventually disbands or dies?
Do elaborate a bit.
>everyone shits on MCs power because it sucks
>its secretly the strongest power
oh, harem was just the tip of the iceberg. it simply reproduced all the easy tropes of anime while making for a shit version of battlestar galactica.
fuck, it didn't even have gaius baltar, what the fucking fuck.
>Character fails to confess his crush to MC for the umpteenth time
>MC's dad was/is the strongest/best in the world
>MC doesn't know their dad or of his power until after he leaves the town
>best girl says she knows she won't win the MCb owl and says she is happy just to stay by his side
but i like cute girls! you're reading me all wrong, pal! cool your horses!! them jets!! roll out the dice!! pwow! zinger!! ride 'em cowboy!! i am the god of hellfire!!!!
proper Revelation Space: The Animation when?
>maybe a bit of yuri laughs from Volyova and Khouri
>steampunk all over the place
would that be based? done properly I mean.
Might as well, seeing how 97% of every season's shows are utter uninspired re-hashed garbage. It's a miracle how I ditched crack and not anime. At least crack was good for something.
That's because the show isn't about fighting in the first place. Araragi's job is to play the psychologist for the various girls who are dealing with their psychological issues (Kaii).
He also isn't supposed to get shit done or take active action, since his job is to make people realize that no one can save them if they don't first try to save themselves (hence why Araragi's solutions never work for long unless the girls themselves try to solve their problems).
>the first scene is in CGI that's horribly done
