So /a/, what did we think of the Third Aerial Girls' Squad finale?
I thought it was pretty all right, but the whole thing felt a little rushed to me and it doesn't feel like what the series was supposed to be leading up to. Could have been a lot worse, considering the ending went anime original. Frankly, I'm just stunned that Kinoshita managed not to go Jiggly on us again.
Can someone explain the Lucy scene to me, though? What was the point of it? It didn't really seem like it added much of anything.
Would anybody else actually watch TAGS? Exodus didn't look great aside from the finale, but I'd give this a shot if it were real. Aria's design goes a bit too far in colorcoding though. Either her hair or eyes could stand to be a different color.
Aria is perfect. Don't insult my waifu, shitlord.
Dude, where did you get those scans?
I hope you didn't do anything illegal.
>Either her hair or eyes could stand to be a different color.
It's a deliberate contrast with her personality. It gives her more depth. It's like, you think that girl is hotblooded and aggressive, but then she is the exact opposite. And then you see her in combat and she *is* hotblooded and aggressive.
>Dude, where did you get those scans?
>I hope you didn't do anything illegal.
The BDs came with this cool making-of documentary called "White Box". It turned out to be pretty informative. Funnily enough, for the Aria pucker scene, the artists had to eat a lot of sour food and mimic on paper what their own faces were doing. Cool stuff.
Shit, really? I just kind of assumed, considering how close they were cutting it. How embarrassing for me.
Are the scans out? I'm probably going to have to take a look at that.
Musani isn't all that great, though. This is the best thing they've done in a while.
I mean, Exodus was okay for a Meduka clone, but Arupin was the only truly great part of the show.
>MC spends most of season sulking, not kicking ass
>Contrived character appears out of nowhere in the final episode
>Somehow this makes her get in the plane
Such shitty writing. I regret sticking through the whole thing, CG planes were yucky too
Rumor has it they headhunted a wheel-design genius from some innocent company just for this one anime. Musani will stop at nothing.
I wonder how much budget they lost to the guy though.
Daily reminder the Jews killed best girl. I am still mad
This show has a lot of scientific inaccuracies. Shouldn't the characters wear fly suits and maks? Also their heads shouldn't tilt when their planes roll. I hope they fire the guy who's in charge of researching planes and stuffs.
Are you serious?
They had to omit the masks because otherwise you wouldn't be able to see their faces.
They spent 37% of the time in their planes. (except for Aria at ~26%)
You can't just go faceless for that long.
As for the movements inside the planes, I guess you're kinda right. But it was moe!
You're not going to recreate this, if that's your intention.
Now let us talk about our cute pilot show in peace.
>tfw Catherine won't scissor with Aria anymore
At least her sister is still alive, r-right?
FUCK MEATBAG HEROINES
F-4-chan was the best girl.
Aria's secretly packing a schlong, that's why (s)he's in the men's restroom.
>Something about the directed infiltrating the office with his belly.
>with his belly.
I actually liked this show very much, despite /a/ always saying it's just gonna be >planesluts and >leljiggles. One of the few positive suprises this season.
You could tell that everyone who worked on this really put their heart into it.
Aria best girl.
>Jiggly Jiggly so fanny XD
>Kinoshita more liek Kino a shit amirite
Fucking newfag cancer, I swear. Has no one here seen Honey and Clovers? I bet you shitheads haven't even seen Long Distance Riot Police. And you probably weren't even born back when Naked Hypnotist was airing.
Young Kinoshita was an amazing talent. It shouldn't be a suprise that he can poll something like this off.
