Gear up for Pedal time -- It's the Grande finale!
But isn't it following the manga?
What I meant to say is, that the anime didn't rearrange too much simply for the sake of making this what it isn't. This series is thorough. I like that, and it still managed to hold me week by week because it's a good.
God damn this is beautiful
A good series. It's nice to stay with them through the whole grind.
I downloaded both seasons last week just for the endcards, then deleted without watching.
I did watch most of the first season when it was airing though, before it bored the hell out of me.
>Maki will never jump in the air to hug you
I would be bawling if the manga wasn't still running.
It was nice, Anons.
Maybe we can dump the manga in the future and do some reading together.
This ended in the middle of volume 27.
Only up to volume 28 is translated.
Better pacing as it can be read faster, otherwise not much except the anime put some flashbacks earlier than the manga.
Current scanlator thinks they'll have volume 29 out by April 10th
The way they do their pecs is unappealing. Well I find the overall character design unappealing, but something there just looks wrong. Like an old man's chest.
Who's the character to the far left?
Damnit Onoda, be a bit more manly.
Bros, gear up on last time for the season.
>Yowamushi Pedal - Grande Road - 24 [720p]
And go out for a ride.
I'm so happy Onoda got to go to Akiba with his friends. Best ending.
So does anyone else cycle or work out whilst listening to the OPs? It's so effective like an instant second wind for me.
>I will never ever give up
Just gets me going
Yep. Since the first time until forever, my favorite OP.
I also loved the board for the OP, too. Never fails to pump me up, though I don't even need to be cycling or working out to play this.
>Onoda obtains a new bike
>Naruko getting BTFO by Midosuji
>Izumida becomes the captain of Hakone
>New Hakone squad include his BFF, Shinkai's brother, Teshima's retard moe childhood friend and Bane
>Kyoto Fushimi gets a weird freshman that eats chicken tendies and can steal/analyze other cyclists's skills by manhandling them
>That one mechanic guy who showed up for half a panel at the beginning of the series turns out to be a relevant character for a volume or two
>Most of the main teams are pissed that Sohoku won the last inter-high and consider it a massive fluke they won't be able to back up for a second time
Yea, Onoda falling on day 1 and being last, Tadokoro getting sick, Kinjou dropping out of the race because sickness and Imaizumi being unable to compete for first because his bike broke totally did not hold them at all back while Hakone had no bad luck at all.
I'm really going to miss watching this every Monday, glad we're getting at least one movie in the future.
Yesterday I went out for a ride with the second OST on my MP3 player. There are a few really good tracks on it for getting pumped up, like the rock version of the Hime theme.
No wonder he's so good at climbing.
Manami looks pretty slim himself, but I can't imagine Onoda is much more than 50 kg or so if Izumida can casually pick him up away from his body.
Then again, I'm not /fit/, so maybe I don't understand.
cute boys doing cute things
I'm guessing a one-day race, focusing on Onoda as a second-year rider, with most of the other popular characters that didn't graduate already, and maybe a handful of the new guys that have already shown up in the manga.
From what little i've read probably the most interesting development is the way everyone reacts to Onoda. 1st IH he came as a surprise while everyone was paying attention to the other cyclists. 2nd IH he runs with the pressure of everyone paying attention to him and recognizing him as a beast.
I can't wait for Hakone 2.0 they look like fun
