Last episode, will they finally throw out a good one?
Who am I kidding, we all know it'll be shit just like the rest of this waste of time
I'd rather see Frozen Teardrop get adapted. And that's saying something.
Gyanko was the only good thing to come out of this shit show.
Pretty much her, Shia and Crossbone were it. Thanks fat man.
Colour me fucking surprised. Meijin spin off when?
>Domon was the master all along
I forgot we even speculated about who that was
Best episode of the series. That was magnificent!
Too bad Sunrise really didn't show the S1 characters much as they said they wouldn't.
Too bad she is such a bad character.
>Best boy and best girl bonding over otoutos
>Fumina not winning the Sekaibowl
Feels good man
Best character in Try along with Minato.
I hope he's not kill because The End deserves to see more fights.
What do you expect gundams are all OTPs; not some harem shit, I dont even know why they had to make it Harem.
I hate Sekai but I dont hate Reiji. Hes more like a meh.
Minato was literally the best and ONLY good new character from this season. Gyanko was pretty good too, though she deserved the dickings from Sekai, Sekai did not deserve her so I'm glad she's now getting the dick from bandage boy.
>only one katana
Shia is a shitty little slut. She is nowhere near the pure and actual love of Gyanko who fucking cheered Sekai on the whole time and fucking made meals for a nigga because she cared.
Apparently, it was ridiculously incomprehensible for the entirety of the show. Characters made zero sense, the setting made zero sense, the show just made no fucking sense. Also, the battles were fucking awfully boring.
>Implying he didn't learn about THE HEART from Reiji and Sei and became full Gunpla appreciator.
Nigga is the only reason gunpla still exists and is the reason niggas even managed to get where they are at the end of the first season.
I'm as against the race mixing propaganda in GBF S1 as the next /pol/lack, but let's be fair: nigger gave Plavski particles back to the world. That's enough heart for me, even if he doesn't have a soul.
So who else would like to see an episode where Shimon and Gyanko go on a romantic date. They play Gunpla Battle, eat ice cream, go see a movie, then go have dinner; it's all very romantic, and Shimon starts asking Gyanko to be his girlfriend.
Then in walks this godly motherfucker and is all "ay bby want sum fuk". Gyanko goes "yes Sekai, please fuck my brains out", "K, but only if he watches".
So Gyanko forces Shimon to stay and watch as Sekai quite literally fucks the shit out of her. Also, he has to wear Sekai's boxers as a hat. After 5 or so hours Sekai is finally done (so, quite a short time for him) and pees and shits all over Shimon.
Gyanko then starts talking to try to make it official with Sekai. But he is all like "lol no, I don't date fatties. You can have my sloppy seconds, bro. I don't even like her, I was just making a point". He then gets dressed and leaves, as Shimon cries inconsolably and Gyanko desperately scrapes Sekai's shit off of him so she can eat it.
I forgot: also, Shimon's little brother walks in halfway through.
All fights and shit were bad. They tried to go bigger than open tourney evem though its juniors and they ran out of ideas for bigger explosions...
Tryon was only good part of try
Why, this last episode was terrible unnecessary, they could just have used the credits in last week episode.
But aside of that was a nice series. More a martial arts battle series than a robot battle series but eh, it was fun. A bit repetitive sometimes but was more thrilling and epic than Reconguista
All we wanted was an Erupting Burning Finger or shining finger reference from Sekai.
No, the flame ring that appears behind Sekai when he does his phoenix move doesn't count
Will it end up like Madoka or Fate/Zero. If Madoka then I expect plenty of FuminaxShia shipping fodder. If it's like Fate/Zero then I expect the next Holy Grail War to be a gunpla tournament.
>it was ridiculously incomprehensible for the entirety of the show. Characters made zero sense, the setting made zero sense, the show just made no fucking sense. Also, the battles were fucking awfully boring.
Why is it that G-Reco haters sound so fucking retarded?
>Corss Ange > G Reco
I thought it was fine not sure why people autistically hate it like the worst shit ever. Anytime I asked how TRY, A/Z and CA were better I get no response meaning it just comes down to appeal.
G-Reco is doubtless the most challenging and important show I've ever seen, leaving even other classics like LoGH in its dust. All episdoes are filled with amazingly detailed and complex storytelling, sharp characterization, and they're mighty exciting to watch, to boot.
That having been said, I can actually understand why this show's viewership is solimited and so many people don't understand what's going on For many, G-Reco will probably be so lifelike and believable that it doesn't even function as entertainment. In that sense, the show's greatest strength is also its only weakness, as there's nothing remotely sensationalistic or cliched about it, no reliance on overdirected action scenes, contrived cliffhanger endings, or improbable plot twists. For all involved, the season is filled with setbacks, frustrations, and long periods of waiting for something to happen, just like real life.
The world is made to look as and feel as real as possible, as though you're actually there-no dream sequences, no haunting visions, only one extremely brief flashback-an emphasis on realism that extends to the most seemingly insignificant bits of setting and dialogue. It all adds up to a show that's unfailingly convincing and authentic, but definitely not for those looking for an escape.
If something makes no sense and fans invent the "explanations" is not that people doesn't understand it, is that you are trying to find sense to something that doesn't have.
Like for example, the pigtails bitch wanted to invade earth, gets mad when her husband is killed, tries to invade earth with even more passion and then she suddenly loves earthlings...and happens to be pregnant.
Or maybe you're retarded. It's true that G-Reco frustrates the viewer without providing easy answers, but at the same time, it is realistic and honest because of its attention to the harsh truths of the world. In real life, not everything works out perfectly. G-Reco recognizes this grim fact and turns it into a riveting, artistic, heartbreaking examination of conflict, war and human relationships.
The complexity of each character makes it difficult to make easy distinctions between "good" and "bad," which is a remarkable feat in any medium, and even more remarkable given the polarized times that we live in, and anime's tendency to "dumb-down" shows with overt-dialog, flashy editing and melodramatic background music.
It's sophisticated television that assumes there is an intelligent audience for well-written, off-center, ambitious entertainment. Tomino has created a contemporary masterpiece. The breadth and ambition of G-Reco are unrivaled. It's an astonishing display of writing, acting and storytelling that must be considered alongside the best literature and filmmaking in the modern era.
>If something makes no sense
Why doesn't it make sense
> the pigtails bitch wanted to invade earth
And this is wrong, if you're going to be critical of something at least try to pay attention
Fumina was pretty cute
He got Aila and Reiji
>all this Try crapposting and not wanting proper S3 with adult Sei
>Domon is actually Domon
>Shia and Sekai "trained"
>the itchy butt is a lie
>Mirai and Yuuma forced pairing
>Suga-still-can't-drive forced meme (he isn't fucking char)
>super Fumina cuter than actual Fumina
>ends with the start of World Cup
Sshhh, its okay. Not like Mirai is actually available considering she's an idol
This pleases me
Also that Shia tunes up gunplas kept on crotches
>Picture of Shia without her feet in frame
Whats the point?
Shimon is one lucky guy.
Where does the gunpla come from?
"Adou-san always has his arms crossed. Where does he keep his gunpla?"
"Huh? I keep it in under my pants of course."
"The End... I feel sorry for The End."
"Don't show such filthy things to Shia!!"
"Huh? It's not filthy! You do it too, Kijima."
"... Is that true, nii-san?"
"Guy fighters are all like that!"
"I'm not looking after their gunpla anymore."
My sister wore a front zipper race swimsuit
"How is it nii-san?"
"It's perfect Shia!!"
"That's my sister. How cute.."
"Wouldn't it be better if you squeezed these in?"
"Adou-san is vulgar."
"Adou sit over there."
More like Gundam Chub Fighters.
This is a pixiv dump if you haven't noticed
I'd definitely let Shia dominate me.
Will we ever get a Gundam Girl anime? It took Plamo Kyoshiro 31 years.
Meijin is literally dead to me now
The end is a heavily customized unicorn of course. Its model number is even "RX-END" (Unicorn's is RX-0).
I wonder if the hg will have that gimmick and the ads were just not showing it to prevent the spoiler.
Minato keeps challenging Meijins perceptions of what Gunpla can be, best boy
Not to mention the hair.
Which parts specifically? Not that all of her isn't perfect as is.
It's pretty much the same for me, although I need to add her delicious flatness as well. Her character design really hits all my buttons, but her teasing, playful nature seals the deal fro me.
All the other girls get so crude and angry, she's so much more of a kind fun loving person. Great taste in clothes as well
Goddammit, that scene gave me a boner. I need to learn how to make webms.
I guess Meijins literacy took a hit from all the Gunpla
He should properly ventilate his building table
I need doujins of Mirai in this hairstyle
I want her to teach me those things too.
Shia, Lucas and Aila. The Strongest team.
>Tfw it wasnt worth it
The Try Fighters must battle with themselves and their own inner demons as they face opponents that cannot be beaten through conventional means as they face each other for real in a test simulation that in stunning episode 3 twist ultimately turns out to be for the military and real mobile suit application as they prepare for REAL WAR (TM)! The difference now is your consciousness is tied directly to the Gunpla you build leading to better control than ever before. The drawback is if your Gunpla gets destroyed....you die for real! Stay tuned!
BFT was all about the Tournament, with character interactions and development secondary. Sekai was as one-dimensional as your standard shonen protag. Any "development" he gets was off-screen. I seriously wanted to see how the fuck he built Kamiki Burning Gundam (unless Shia just build it for him).
>spams the same moves over and over
>Doesn't grow up at all during the show besides liking gunpla more.
>He is as dense as a tipical harem protag
He seems pretty basic and doesn't learn any sort of tactics.
>(unless Shia just build it for him).
This seems pretty likely; she probably just handed him parts she built already and let him sand them down a bit and apply the stickers
Which is pretty cute
Since its the last episode and all, who builds here? Did BF or Try convince you to pick up a kit and give them a try?
>Shia and Sekai weren't revealed to be siblings
>Sei gets mentioned a few times and has his shadow shown
>Reiji and Aila don't appear at all
What the fuck was even the point of this shit? The Try-team's still stuck at the nationals and aren't trying for world championship either.
>That sugita disqualified
>Sleggar and 5head being cute
>9, no I mean 6
>The sazaki are basically the zabi family in terms of number of siblings
>Yuuma made a gun that shoots sekai phoenix's
>All those new units I want kits of in general
>Sekai has leveled up enough thank to Shia teaching him to build his own custom
>Woundwort actually got animated
>Ramba Ral finally got those Doms he asked for
>That "SK" in meijin's explosion
>Ral confirmed for being able to pressure a 3 time world champion
>Shimon using destiny impulse
>Sekai gets battle NTRd by Lady
>Sleggar still can't drive for shit
Top tier ending episode.
Shia and Sekai obviously lost their memories when they got transported to earth from Reiji's colony dimension, Shia only believes Kijima to be her brother since he found her and took her in.
I was hoping Yuumas fight with him would loosen him up, but no, he was still about MUH MIN MAXED TACTICOOL ZETA SHIT
Doesn't matter, Minato remains undefeated against Sekai and that's something no other kid his age can boast about. He would easily shit on everyone as a fighter and builder if he just reigned in the chuuni for 30 seconds.
Minato is basically Excalibur of Soul Eater.
Well he gave his new Lightning Gundam a fucking J-Quath, so it's a start
A few more upgrades and he'll have his own Lightning Ark to match Tryon 3
>@mkaz0310: ビルドファイターズとしてはWEB企画が始まりますし公式でツイートしたようにOVAを企画中です。長崎監督で1本、綿田監督で1本の予定です。セイ、レイジのGBF、セカイ、ユウマ、フミナのGBFTですからそれぞれの期待に応えられるように少々時間を頂いて制作するつもりです。 #g_bf
Both GBF and GBFT gets an OVA planned for now. GBF with Sei and Reiji, which means a spinoff before the final episode. GBFT with Sekai, Yuuma, and Fumina, which could be world tournament.
>@mkaz0310: ガンダムビルドファイターズトライの最終回が放送となり、前作も含めこれまでご視聴頂き本当にありがとうございました。続編としての3期TVシリーズ等のご要望やオファーがあったことは非常にありがたかったのですが、ひとまずここでTVシリーズは一休みとなります。 #g_bf
Received wishes and offer for new TV series, but not going to do it for now.
>Complaining about Build Fighters Try getting another season
Try doesn't affect the original series in any way. People that are complaining about more content for build fighters are objectively retarded. There is literally no downside, but a lot to gain.
God dammit now I want that to happen too and I'm going to be disappointed when it's not a spoof of Daitarn 3's first episode
With Minato as Banjo and Beauty and Reika replaced with Fumina and Gyanko.
While I hope we do get a third season, a break would be nice. They pushed out Try way to quickly and the quality shows it.
Also, I want a kit of this. Its like a more samurai themed burning gundam.
Why wasn't this the mid-season upgrade?
Why the fuck did Try Burning exist at all?
Shiro Kyoda, builder of the original Red Warrior.
Yeah exactly, just like how Excalibur is invincible because he's a giant troll. Minato only loses because he hasn't mastered his chuuni yet
gotta wait until he hits 30 and becomes a newtype wizard then even Iori Sei might be in danger.
See the image how the one side is that other guy and a slightly simpler red warrior.
Red warrior is originally from a 80s manga called "plamo kyoshiro" which was basically a proto build fighter and gunpla builders, featuring virtual battles between plamo (and not just gunpla).
The lead character is a hot blooded kid and "SK" are his initials, which he put on most of his customs, including red warrior. Meijin left it on the amazing red warrior as a decal as well.
I've built about 10. RG Mk II is my favorite.
It wasn't because of BF, though. I just needed a quiet, time-consuming hobby to de-stress with. I enjoyed it so much that I started watching Gundam.
I got these little fellas, and I'm waiting for Flag and Zaku Amazing to arrive. I'm bad at building, so those don't look too good, but I'll paint the Flag and Zaku. Hopefully they'll look good after that.
Holy fuck I love that white Zaku, it's the only model I keep next to my monitor, rest are on the display.
>Laid back personality
>Awesome custom and is unique in a sea of gundams
>Got his girl
>Can't drive for shit is a callback to his reference character
>doesn't do shit
He's like a shittier Sleggar clone. Back the fuck off, you won't surpass the Aryan.
T-this wasn't the G Gundam sequel I wanted
Slegger slugging his waifu when she shit talks an honorable opponent was GOAT Try moment
What will the protagonist of the next series use?
I'm hoping for a Build Victory Gundam, myself.
Yup I got Fenice Renasciatta, Build Burning, and Bearguy Family.
Lucas was by far the better fighter, but let's face it, the Crossbone had the fuel efficiency of a Camaro. For the same amount of particles the Crossbone used to fire its crossbow twice the Build Burning could destroy half the planet with its fist.
Which means Lucas isn't a very good builder, just like Aila who relied on Nemesis to make her a god tier suit. It's even foreshadowed when Lucas rejected help from his grandfather's company.
He's arguably at Minato's level in battling, but holy shit does he suck at building.
>Buy our 5 years running remake not translated by anyone manga series made by the original director and storywriter
Someone translate it already
I'm pretty sure your comparison with Minato is that he's godly at fighting and not that great at building, like the polar opposite. Still he's more competent then Sekai at least.
Frozen Teardrop was partly animated by Sunrise and the remake/spin-offs are still selling well. Nothing changes even after 20+ years, Wing will always make money.
Just like that second season of Zoid Zero remember all the S Rank battles on the Moon?
>meme it up poser
Was your post supposed to be intentionally autistic or what?
I know. Meanwhile Glory for Losers is doing great.
I want a new zoids anime that follows the box storyline. No anime original storylines. Alternatively one that covers one of the time-travel fuckery game storylines in better fashion.
Minato isn't the polar opposite though. He is clearly the top fighter in the nationals either tied with Lucas, or is even better. He casually wrecks Try Fighters and only loses because the source of his strength is also his main weakness, being a giant chuuni faggot. I'm not even talking about Embody here, but if the guy just stopped posing after every combo attack he would have won the tournament by a landslide, and that obviously can't happen since he's not the main character.
>He casually wrecks the Try Fighters
That only happened because of bad writing, having a super robot/Not-Brave series mecha, and Yuuma being an idiot.
He's no were on par with Lucas or Wilfred.
I just remember a few anons on /m/ bitching about it last year. And anyway, how many 00 suits were used in GBF and GBF Try with major roles? Meijin had Amazing Exia and Dark Matter Exia in S1, Wilfred's Transient is based off Exia, anything else?
He gets a good hit on Sekai with the boomerang, and overpowered Star Winning and Lightining in a beamspam at once.
He's not a bad fighter by any means, but his strength definitely comes from building. The Gunpla he makes are overwhelmingly strong
Lady won the shia, fumina, and gyanko bowl.
Sekai went on a short training trip with Shia where she taught him how to build customs. But hes still dense towards everyone and went with her because he wanted to surprise his friends with his own custom and not for any romantic reasons. Fumina and gyanko battle them, then lady shows up and all three girls chase after her instead leaving sekai floating aroynd looking confused about what just happened.
I actually dropped the show before the 22nd episode as I couldn't really take any more disappointment.
But as it's still Gundam I couldn't help myself from marathonning the episodes now that it's all to be over. But is it just me, or were these last 4 episodes legitimately good?
It might be that I just felt withdrawal or something from having dropped it, but I was having a blast with these last 4 episodes. I guess I just dropped it right before the turning point.
The show had tons of problems for sure, but I really got the impression that it managed to turn over itself for the better by the very end. Too late one might say, and I might not even argue against you. But I still can't deny having a blast with these last 4 episodes.
Transient isn't really 100 percent Exia, it's a mismash of 00 Gundams, just that the exia stands out more.
The G-Portent is also a suit that used the Exia frame to make a Sakibure (those Civilian MS from Awakening of the Trailblazer)
You claim it's bad writing yet he was the first person to wreck Sekai in Try, showing clever ingenuity to using his gunpla through FREEDUMB. There's nothing inconsistent with his battle performance, it's just overshadowed by his super robot.
To argue otherwise is basically dismissing the entire series just because you refuse to admit a chuuni is stronger than a tryhard. It might be bad writing, but it's still canon and it wasn't forced at all. If anything it's Lucas who is forced given how he did not even live up to his reputation and hype, let alone Wilfred whose been a giant joke the whole time and relies on gimmick after gimmick to look alright.
Don't ever use terms like bad writing ever again until you actually learn what it means. That requires going to school, not just repeating what /a/ says.
Portent is based off a ms from 00 as well (forget the name) and while not 00 machine based the End uses gn fangs.
Overall though UC got a plain ridiculous amount of representation in Try, with around 2/3 of the named characters using customs of them.
Its what we should have gotten instead of Try building. A more personalized unit that has more immediately obvious visual differences while still being obviously based on build burning. Plus a sword.
Hope it gets a kit or the OVA features it in some way.
The real shame is that no heavily-modified grunt was in the major rivals.
I swear, /m/ would celebrate a GM with a Gundam head destroying special snowflake Gunpla with tactics and
Wikipedi- I mean Gundam Wiki
Wouldn't say they went all the way back, but they definitely managed to kick themselves up out of being total shit near the end. There was still stuff going wrong, but if the entire season hadn't been what it was those faults wouldn't have shone through at all.
You make me sick, I wasn't disappointed at all
I just order 3 BF TRY kits
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED BANDAI
i expected some sort of fumina decals or whatever for minato when they first laughed at her, that was amusing at least
at least they took the money they held that made the last few eps quarity and dumped into this one for less quarity
domon was a bit of a let down, but it's not like people really could have expected better though
>I swear to God if they don't release it, I'll drop a Castle to Bandai HQ with Klancain strapped unto it.
Seriously though, They should seize the moment and have an entire line of
Love Live AGP's to go with it.
I never said he wasn't, his main strength is in building but everyone in the nationals sucks dick at fighting anyways besides him and Lucas.
GA strictly relies on their gunpla's gimmicks, and not once do you see them fight in a way that maximizes their gimmicks let alone use them creativity.
Try Fighters is Sekai button mashing spamming specials all day, while Yuuma tries to be Yuuki lite but does a lot of pointless things and ends up always getting his ass saved by his team mates before his engine even starts running properly. Fumina is probably the closest person in Try Fighters to actually make the most out of her gunpla, but you can't tell me she's any better than Minato when she also has a lot of wasteful moves that counteract all the times she DOES pull off something amazing.
Meanwhile Minato either bulldozes his way through or uses a stupid gimmick in a very effective manner like transformation or boomerang. Compare when he transformed his SD against Sekai to when Fumina transformed her SD any time. One is a simultaneous dodge/counter attack while most people would argue Fumina should have just begun the match with Star Winning in Real Mode and the only reason it happens is because of justifying SD kit selling.
The only person who doesn't have wasteful movements is Lucas, and Minato comes the closest afterwards because his wasteful movements are all Chuuni spergout moments, not actual in combat wasteful movements. There's a huge difference in intentionally doing something stupid for style and flash versus doing it just because that's how you envisioned your gunpla to be used and ironically being confined to your initial design.
Hence why Minato is the symbol of freedom.
T-time for Aila! C-can it really be?!
Oh right, he was from Finland too. And Aila is in Arian with Reiji.
W-will we see them in the BD extras?
Best girl won her own bowl, that's all that matters
>using the words bad writing
>using kek to deflect again
Oh right I forgot you learned that term from /a/ memes, oh wait didn't we go over this already?
All this just because you can't admit you're wrong, you might give feminists a run for their money.
