Just finished it today. Yes, I would partake of Saegusa and Erika.
It wasn't bad enough not to finish. The MC was pretty reasonable. The ending sucked but I guess it wasn't finished being adapted.
What are some common complaints about the anime, out of curiosity? I only recently finished it (not OP).
great. I prefer Shizuku though.
Miyuki is absolutely cringe-worthy with her onii-samas every minute and overall flat character that does nothing. Tatsuya is a stu who is an expert at everything and all his flaws exist to only make him look cooler. The side characters are more interesting than Tatsuya who is a robot. Too much technobabble and little action. Voice acting is uninspired, emotionless despite the all-star cast. It's a nippon banzai anime where the sole baddies are chinks.
Chinks make great bad guys, however Mahouka does a great disservice to chinks. They should at least be somewhat threatening. In the end, they're more pitiful and I end up rooting for them more than Tatsuya.
All I got out of each episode was 'what's oniichan going to pull out of his ass next.' No suspense to keep me hooked. No trials to overcome. Just 'how's perfect going to fix this.'
The lie is probably nothing but bait, they are siblings. Background about the clan, why they tried to kill him at birth, and how everyone reacts to Tatsuya. Maybe something big will happen to change the dynamic, Miyuki could really use some development and face her clan.
But realistically probably nothing but more babble about baryon lance, the train they took to get there and all possible means of public transport, and more Miyuki beauty descriptions. See you next volume.
Well Satan you see, it's so popular in Japan that the hatewagon over here on /a/ that's in charge of bashing average stuff that gets big decided to let loose on mahouka.
I enjoyed it, but honestly Onii-sama is just so amazing at everything and his badass mysteries that keep piling onto each other to make him even more of a badass just turned it into an unintentional comedy about gary stus for me. Sort of like Sakamoto but that was done on purpose.
>I can read what magic they'll cast by analyzing the numbers or whatever
>I'm also a ninja
>I'm also the son of one of the most powerful magical families in the world
>I'm also the famous inventor who never shows his face anywhere who literally invented flight and fixed the planets energy crisis
>I'm also a secret agent who works for the government
Tatsuya got on my nerves so much with his know it all attitude where he magically farts a solution to everything that I started feeling like Morisaki was the reasonable one. Thought he should have lost that monolith match as some sort of change of pace but nah, it was stale and boring to the end.
Pretty much my opinion of the series. It seemed like it was trying to be Full Metal Panic in the Negimaverse with GITS aesthetics, but Tatsuya himself is just boring and there's pretty much nothing to get excited about whenever he shows up.
That said, I did like the magitech in the series and the effects of magic on life and warfare.
I'd say Erika > Saegusa > Shizuku > *, and speaking of rape, the thing that made me DL and finish the series was because apparently Aunt-sama got raped as a loli.
I personally hate mainlander Chinese and China in general (I'm overseas Chinese, hypocrite much) so I didn't feel that way, but it would have helped if there were more actual Chinese characters instead of mooks who get stomped by Tatsuya and friends.
What is this baryon lance thing
I don't want to begin to defend Onii-sama but at the very least, he tried to help his friends out and was appropriately humble. Although even his humility comes off as mocking people given how OP he is.
Don't forget able to seduce Miyuki away from him, that would make shit personal.
It's literally just something that's meant to be fun to watch and not over think, it's being hated on by /a/ because they're all trying to be edgy pseudointellectuals and can't accept something that you can turn off your brain to watch
That's the problem it tries to make you think with technobabble. How can I not think when it's babbling this shit all the fucking time. At least most other sci fi include some humor or history.
No wonder /a/ loves/hates Cross Ange, half of them appreciate the insane fanservice while the other half wants everything they appreciate to be deep commentaries on self and society.
And both groups want the other to shut up and fuck off.
>Mii a best
Baryon lance is using the concept of FAE theory taken from USNA to use his decomposition magic as some sort of energy ray beam. It's supposed to be his way of breaking Juumonji's Phallanx barrier along with contact gram demolition barriers. Basically, one more way to make him even more OP as he previously had no way of dealing with Juumonji without a long battle of attrition.
He's boring for a gary stu even. I'd prefer a character that is competent but not constantly without a struggle. Some challenge and loss is needed to keep it interesting. There's barely any conflict with Tatsuya.
monogatari is incredibly popular and yet most people on /a/ seem to like it. I don't get why hating on a legitimately shitty series that are popular like snk makes you a bandwagoner.
I wonder who she will end up with. I don't think it will be Katsuto or Hirofumi, she's too popular to end up with a gorilla and guy that's only in the 10MC because his cripple sister is an S class magician.
>MC is actually god tier but only his imouto and government higher ups knows.
>He cant use his powers normally because its top secret matter.
>He is also sealed and can only use half of his power due security matters, (government fears he may blow up the entire planet)
>MC still matchless because half of his unlimited power is already more than enough to steamroll everyone in the planet
>Does not cares about moralfaggotry
>Chinese mafia tries to mess with his imouto
>They are all dead in the following day
>Colleague gets injured
>Paramedics are ready to help her
>He says to paramedics what to do
>He nukes Chinese out of existence
>Chinese thinks hes god
>Two colleagues got fatal injures
>They are saved because MC can undo injuries
>MC can bring back the clinically dead
>America gets scared of him
>Sends their top fighter
>MC defeats her several times while sealed and adds her to his harem
>MC can completely evaporate trucks while having no vision of them at 400m and don't evaporate the driver
>America tries to spy on MC
>They use spy camera from orbital satellite
>MC sees them doing it
>Warns them by looking back at spy satellite at earth orbit
>MC has all seeing eye with limitless range
>MC hobby is solving world energy crisis by creating unlimited energy generator and creating magical weapons that makes him even more invincible
>He can kill snipers at 1.2km with his hand-gun
>He joins the student council at school
>He is able to perform all work from the entire student council alone faster and better than the entire people on it
>He is chief engineer from one of biggest companies in the world, hes better than everyone working on it, he alone is able to increase profits more than 20%.
>His family is said to be the strongest magical clan from Japan
>One day he beats the family head - once called the strongest magician, Mc blew her as if nothing and everyone on his family hates him
>he does not cares because he can blow up every single of them

The author has been writing up tons of Mayumi and Tatsuya moments recently. Mayumi has surged in popularity as well in Japan. She probably has the highest chance to end up with Tatsuya
Mahouka was licensed. The last translated volume is vol 14
Being an omnipotent god is fine, people like Saitama, Dark Schneider, Maou, etc.
But you have to make them interesting in their omnipotence. Onii-sama has no personality and is defined entirely by patting Miyuki on the head and pulling out plot devices. The closest thing to Onii-sama on the short list above (Saitama) is even more boring than him, but at least he's laughable and the focus (rightfully) goes to the massive supporting cast anyway.
Mahouka tries to make you think he's struggling, but he clearly isn't.
I read the translated chapter from volume 8, it was less horrible than expected (Gurobuchi went into much more detail for Sakura in F/Z). Still, I am kind of interested in seeing what kind of ridiculous asspulls Onii-sama will come up with and the antics of Erika and Mayumi.
1st season animated 6 vols and the last two were a bit rushed. S2 would animate 3 vols of Visitor and then Double 7 + Steeplechase. I think it'd fit. LN and BD have to sell well, so maybe we'll see more Onii-sama, Lina, Ayako, Fumiya, more Pixie and others after 1-3 years of waiting.
Jesus fucking Christ.
What´s the point in reading a story centered on an MC like that?
>tatsuya and miyuki go to a restaurant to eat
>all the people hate on tatsuya because miyuki is too beautiful and he is not handsome enough
>he is super caring to miyuki
>miyuki is super loving to him
>all the people love tatsuya now because he has such a good relationship with miyuki
>rude entitled guy walks in with an actress
>miyuki is more beautiful than the actress
>rude guy wants to make miyuki work as an actress
>tatsuya uses violence (secret pressure point technique) on rude guy to get him to go away
>chef comes out and apologizes
>miyuki gets a free cake and they don't have to pay for their meal
>tatsuya tips them anyway because he's such a great person
>tatsuya happily watches miyuki eat cake
>they step out of the restaurant
>the rude guy was waiting for tatsuya with gang members
>tatsuya crushes them all easily
>police arrive and watch tatsuya destroy the rude guys
>police commander walks up to tatsuya with a serious expression
>seriously asks for miyuki's autograph
>seriously asks for miyuki's autograph
Sound so retarded it would be hilarious to read.
I´d rather have a "weak" character (in terms of power level) that has an interesting personality and is interesting to watch him struggle than a "strong" character that has no personality whatsoever and is completly boring to watch except in cool action scenes.
I want a character to be strong because of a reason. They shouldn´t just be super strong because they are Gary Stus or because of the power of friendship. They should just train.
Put some drama in there and don´t just solve every conflict easily.
That´s pretty cool.
If you are 12. Go and watch something where you have to use your brain instead.
At least Saitama has a personality and it´s supposed to be a joke how his personality and power contradict. He isn´t even a real Gary Stu.
Has Onii-sama ever been challenged? I know Yakumo the ninja master can defeat him in magic-enhanced hand to hand, but by all accounts he is completely untouchable in actual magic use. Like, he can even beat Aunt-san's Meteor Line magic which is basically a wide area disintegrate spell. And everything I've seen of him has him steamrolling all opposition with virtually no resistance.
Is this pattern likely to continue?
>Don't forget able to seduce Miyuki away from him, that would make shit personal.
You're an idiot. Onii-sama has no romantic feelings for Miyuki. In fact it seems like he might be shipping her with Masaki (as of volume 14).
Characters that can do no wrong in their stories are boring. Every female character wants him (including blood relatives), every male character is inferior to him, he's more intelligent than the rest of the cast and more powerful than them too.
Perfect characters are boring and stagnant throughout their story, imperfect characters are at least somewhat relatable and have room for growth.
The technobabble is actually one of the hallmarks of this series and definitely one of the best things about it. The worldbuilding and magic as science is well done and one of the best implementations of Sanderson's law. The problem with the anime is that you can't just include a little technobabble here and there and have it make sense. It's all or nothing since it builds on all the other technobabble. In an anime this won't work since it'll just be boring so they should have cut it out but then mahouka is just your average high school magic show. In the LN it works because the author can easily weave in all the explanations and exposition as appropriate. The other problem is that most of the humor was also left out of the anime. Mahouka is serious and does take itself seriously but the anime overdid it. The LN does have a lot more humor and Tatsuya's internal monologues are amusing which the anime leaves out.
More from vol5
>tatsuya wants to change the password to his bank account
>nobody changes passwords as often as tatsuya because he is a master hacker and knows that changing passwords often is good
>bank gets robbed
>tatsuya decides not to fight because he doesn't want to show off
>miyuki pretends to be frightened
>tatsuya pretends to be frightened
>their act of pretending to be frightened is so convincing that the robbers want to bully them
>they completely distract the robbers
>all the robbers are taken down by guards who drop down from the ceiling
>tatsuya knew the guards were there all along
>bank waives the fee required to change password for tatsuya
Like I said, I liked the application of magic theory and the practical application thereof. I actually thought Mobile Suits referred to the walking tanks the Chinese used at first, then I realised it was the flying suits.
And the lack of internal monologues is a shame, it would make him a hypercompetent Kyon rather than a boring beatdown dispenser. I'd prefer that to what we got.
How about Erika?
The same. Most of the side characters scenes were toned down or omitted. Not as bad as Mayumi I felt but still. Even Miyuki's character was messed up a bit. The anime overemphasized some parts of the LN while leaving out important info that would have given a more balanced presentation. Thus we end up with all the stupid shit from the the anime that's listed in this thread.
Most of the humor in the LNs come from Mayumi, she loves trolling and is so masterful at it, Tatsuya' trolling, Erika's shenanigans, Tatsuya's internal monologues, Mayumi and Mari double teaming Tatsuya for great hilarity and Miyuki's craziness. Almost all of that was left out of the anime.
>Mahouka tries to make you think he's struggling, but he clearly isn't.
Disgree. It doesn't show him struggling, in fact the anime opens with Miyuki arguing with Tatsuya that he should have been a first course student because he had the highest score for the theoretical part of the entrance exams. From the beginning it shows him as competent. His only problem is that he doesn't do that well on practicals without enhanced CADs.
>Jesus nukes China's shit
>America is scared that it could happen to them
>Wants to investigate possible counters to such an attack
>Better fire up the magical particle accelerator
>Makes a miniature black hole
>Telepathic information beings that take over human bodies emerge and start propagating
>Go to Japan because super secret necromancer man black sage is pulling strings and manipulating events (more symbolism?)
>They reproduce by extracting the victim's blood and replacing it with magical ectoplasm juice
>Get dubbed vampires by the media
>Jesus & Apostles destroy the physical body of one of the vampires
>It goes berserk
>Jesus unleashes a barrage of psionic might that makes it flee, injured
>It comes to rest inside of a maid robot
>One of the Apostles is hopelessly in love with Jesus and gives him chocolates
>Cheeky cunt class pres gives Tatsuya some prank chocolates in an ornate box because they are fucking massive and disgusting
>Apostle is worried and renews her devotion to and desire to serve Jesus in all capacities
>Her surge of emotion stirs the dormant vampire (they feed off of human desires)
>Jesus gives her some fine crystal earrings in return the next day
>Her gratitude and emotional surge is so immense that it forms a permanent psionic link between her and the parasite sleeping in the maid robot with the earrings acting as a magical focal point
>Maid robot's one and only overriding emotion is devotion to Based Onii-sama
And that is the story of how Onii-sama acquired a magical maid robot vampire apostle.
Is there anybody who knows Japanese and is able to translate this?
>I want a character to be strong because of a reason.
Power of friendship, will power and training are all reasons.
Either way, it's best if it's a combination of the three. With power of friendship on the minimum.
Mizuki: "Using RPG as an analogy, what class would Tatsuya be?"
Erika: "He would be a mad scientist of course."
Shizuku: "That's not from an RPG."
Erika: "Then, maybe a sage dwelling in the remote lands far removed from civilization that imparts a secret technique."
Leo: "A martial sage then."
Erika: "An evil wizard scheming to conquer the world?"
Mikihiko: "I think a Demon King would be more suitable."
Leo: "No, no, no, after defeating the Demon King, turns out I'm the real man behind the man. Doesn't he fit being the Final Boss who bars the main character's way?"
Honoka: "How come everyone doesn't think he fits the hero?"
Tatsuya: "Forget it, Honoka. I do give off an evil vibe after all."
Miyuki: "Onii-sama, strength alone is the true justice."
Erika: "Oh snap, as expected of the Demon King's sister!"
Tatsuya: “Shall we help you?”
Mayumi: “How unusual. I wonder if snow might fall too.”
Tatsuya: “It’s impossible for me, but... my sister would have no difficulty. Miyuki, the president appears to desire snow."
Miyuki: “Acknowledged. Well then, how much shall I make, Onii-sama? Let’s see... if you pile it up to 10 centimeters, shouldn’t that be enough?”
Mayumi: “Wait! St-stop! It’s okay if snow doesn’t fall!”
reminder that BT has only taken down vol1-13. Abandonment policy allows them to host vol 14-15 until vol 15 has been translated.
Best anime of 2014.
Seeing all the newer ''I have to fit in'' kids be butthurt was glorious.
None of these kids can enjoy things for what they are or be themselves.
Those kids are also the ever-changing majority of /a/, the 60/70% that leaves within 1-2 years.
Ever noticed how Mayumi is aesthetically much closer to Maya than Miyuki, who's supposed to be daughter of her twin sister?
>dark fluffy hair
I saw one fan theory that states Tatsuya is actually Maya and Koichi's child. That would make Mayumi his real sister and Miyuki his cousin. Interestingly, Mayumi keeps saying that Tatsuya is like a little brother. Foreshadowing, anyone?
I never bought Mayumi's claim that she sees Tats as a little brother. Her justification:
"Tatsuya-kun never treated me differently, right?"
"I personally don't believe I'm pretending to be overly familiar with the President......"
Wary of falling into a trap, Tatsuya replied cautiously, but Mayumi laughed lightly.
"That's not what I meant. You wouldn't be on guard against me, flustered, or uneasy, right?"
Ignoring the first one for now, wouldn't the latter two only occur under conditions that Mayumi had created herself? Tatsuya thought but didn't verbalize.
"You address me with the proper honorifics, but in reality you're not being overly polite either. I thought you were a cold person, but you still go along with my selfish requests, so I think this is what it would be like to have a younger brother."
Which strikes me as odd, as her relationship with her little sisters (and father) is very formalized from what we've seen. This is in contrast to the nicknames she has for the Student Council, and the familiar terms she regards Tats. The type of intimacy she's looking for (or calling ideal), if her interactions with the rest of her family are a clue, wouldn't have really manifest in a familial relationship; Tatsuya's apparent coldness, but willing to go along with her selfish demands wouldn't be interpreted in the same way. Instead of "this boy who is considerate, and selfless deep inside", it'd be nothing more than "the little brother who begrudgingly fulfills his familial obligations to his older sister." Mayumi doesn't want Tats to help her because he's her little brother, she wants him to help her because he wants to. She doesn't really want a little brother, but a more intimate, equal relationship.
It comes on 10th May, so we have to wait probably 2-3 weeks
Do you have any idea what it was like in the 20th century before the end of the world wars?
Every nation thought itself to be the best and deemed others shit.
Same deal now.
America is a great military power still, Germany is collaborating with Japanese, see Leo, and we don't really know any more.
Other than Dahan betraying Japan and getting rekt and thus absorbed by the GAA, which don't have the same military might, since they don't have advanced magicians.
I can't stop laughing. 10/10 OP well trolled.
The light novels are so painful. I managed to struggle all the way through the Visitors arc, but it sapped nearly all my willpower to go on. It's a goddamned travesty what they did to Lina, all because the author couldn't bear to show anyone posing the slightest threat to Tatsuya and Miyuki. The parasites were basically the worst antagonist ever too. Muh space monster vampires.
Well, they were the worst antagonist ever until I read, like, the first chapter of Double Seven and now there's some actress and high school kid who are now antagonists. I know that this all somehow gets resolved with that godawful Batman picture, so I am not eager to proceed...
What happens every single time is that someone or some situation gets introduced as a credible threat, Tatsuya curbstomps through it, and then he goes on some internal monologue about how if only things had been a little different, he might have lost.
Except things are never different and he never loses. He barely even breaks a sweat.
>this all somehow gets resolved with that godawful Batman picture, so I am not eager to proceed...
Go all the way to the end. Some little nobody shrimp student actually comes close to whooping tatsuya in front of everyone. He was so asshurt from it that he developed a whole new magic to counter said shrimp.
Onii-sama cause he'd get the spider drunk on coffee.
I'd love to see that.
Her world would be hoplessly crushed and she couldn't handle anything for like months after seeing her onii-sama lose.
He probably wouldn't even make a big deal out of it.
>they're all trying to be edgy pseudointellectuals and can't accept something that you can turn off your brain to watch
You have to be a pseudo intellectual to recognize it as bad?
Not in Volume 14, Chapter 3. She was warned of danger and just stoid there helpless. Nevermind that as an MI mage she failed to detect other MI magician's trap while Tatsuya and Minoru had no problem dealing with it. She fights well when prepared, she stumbles on surprise attacks.
With all the arranged possible marriages, I expect more rape to happen. Your reasons aren't sad at all, there's really not much to the series plot wise. The clan conflict is cool but it hardly takes full importance.
Well, if Miyuki had actual fighting instincts worth a damn we wouldn't need Onii-sama, would we? Given that she's a powerful mage at her age, being able to effectively apply her powers in combat would kind of make Tatsuya redundant.
Not only that Japan is kinda "antagonistic" as well, considering the politician that paid first high a visit and all the backstabbing and politicking going on in the background. Kazama would throw Tatsuya under the bus if it would benefit them. So would the Yotsuba. Yakumo and Tatsuya seem to have more of a quid pro quo business relationship at times than one of master and student. Japan has child soldiers. Yotsuba are experimenting on and killing children. It's strongly implied that Japan is only ahead in magic and second most powerful after USNA because they have a tradition of arranged marriages and no problem with forced breeding programmes and experimenting with magicians. Also keep in mind that Honaka's ancestors were genetically altered for loyalty/obedience, possibly easily using them as sex slaves. How does any of this portray Japan in a positive light?
>Terrorist-chan a shit.
My patriarchy boner throbs with an awesome power! Its hardness tells me to search for Mahouka rape doujins. Sadly exhentai has none, it's all Oniisama incest.
Is the story headed anywhere, or is it just killing threats as they pop up?
a very short 2 lines preview is already out, mentioning how devastated miyuki is after being called back from the yotsuba main house since the moment she will be forced to accept a marriage candidate is steadily approaching
It kind of is, maybe. Last volume Tatsuya and Masaki hunted and took care of Zhou while invading a military base. Zhou's death was weird, he blew himself up when cornered and suggested he can come back to life maybe at another point. Volume ends with the Yotsuba side branches discussing Tatsuya and whether he passed the test or not. Maya says some lie about them not being siblings. So the next volume may or may not deal with Tatsuya having some kind of conflict with the Yotsuba. After that looks like the 10 clan meeting.
There was a short Katsuto x Mayumi rapey one on fakku.
Chiaki proves herself in V13 Steeplechase for Tomitsuka. She works jointly with Tatsuya on his CAD that even Range Zero can use. He does the software, she worked on hardware. Tatsuya even recognizes her skill.
Source? Shizune basically called herself a con man after she gave her the pep talk. She only did it since the school was lacking decent engis. What was Chiaki done to objectively demonstrate she is better?
She called herself a con man because she exaggerated a bit to trigger her competitive nature. She'll never be as good as him at software because ES lets him see activation sequences. Tatsuya always needs Ushiyama to help with hardware, even the flying magic and other CADs were done with Taurus' help. Taurus Silver is the combined effort of the two at FLT.
suzune only told her that hardware was the only field where she could hope to compete with tatsuya, she never said that she's already better than him.
and she was probably lying anyway
>Tatsuya, serving in a double role as tactical officer, drew up the basic theoretical framework. But, it was through Hirakawa Chiaki's efforts that an activation sequence for [Blast] that Tomitsuka could master was devised and its CAD optimized.
He didn't say she did something he couldn't. The dude was put in charge for the entire fucking thing and couldn't do the work for everyone but could offer his tips. She did however take care of her partner adequately.
>She has things she can do better than him in hardware
that is never stated anywhere. the fact that tatsuya acknowledges her hardware tinkering skills doesn't mean she's better than him. That being the case I agree with you that it would be great if she really ended up being better than tatsuya at building and developing hardware
I searched the entire chapter. Tatsuya's involvement was minimal since he was in charge of a lot of shit and needed to take down the p dolls. That was literally the only section with Chiaki and no where did he state she did something he could never ever do.
The actual competition they sit next to each other. Maybe it's somewhere in another chapter and it skips around. Either way, Tatsuya is only 1/2 of Taurus Silver and Ushiyama works on hardware, he is better than him as is Sanada.
I read up that part where she forgot about him sitting next to her and he never said it. You're going to have to post it if you want to claim tatsuya said she did something he could enver do.
There is a side story about NSC.
>Tats' work this year includes: both single & double Ice Pillar Break, females Rower & Gunner double, male single Shield Down, 1st year Rower & Gunner male single, 1st year female Shield Down, all Mirage Bat, all Monolith Code, female steeplechase. 10 competitions, 11 competitors, the heaviest engineer workload in 1st high
You're backtracking now.
>He says himself she did something he couldn't.
He never said this. And Chiaki was responsible for Tomi not Tatsuya.
>Tatsuya was responsible for Shizuku's CAD in [Ice Pillars Break], and Eimi's CAD in [Rower and Gunner]. He had been strongly solicited by both, but if Eimi's race and Shizuku's and Kanon's match had clashed, he would have had to leave Shizuku's and Kanon's follow-up to Isori.
He had different responsibilities but he still lent a hand as a tactical officer to chiaki by drawing up the theoretical framework while she handled the rest.
ok but that doesn't tell us much since:
1- sanada himself built the first suit according to tatsuya's directions
2- he only tried to improve something that was already there rather than starting from scratch
3- tatsuya had more important things to do with his time
Shit like this shouldn't be difficult to understand:
Tatsuya is good at things because he's a fucking robot and can grind proficiency of anything until he gets gud at it. It's because he's a fucking robot and not because of him being a genious or having talent or whatnot.
But doing so takes time, which is something that big T doesn't have infinite of. His time schedule is already taken up by developing magic, magitech research, calisthenics to stay fit, FLT meetings, SDF meetings, etc.
tldr: big T isn't the best at everything, but it'd be a waste of time for him
My normie friend decided to get into anime for some reason and unfortunately chose Mahouka as her first non-ghibli anime. I doubt she'll watch anime ever again because she thinks it's all incest stuff now.
>it would make him a hypercompetent Kyon
No he really is a hypercompetent Kyon. From his monologues you can also see that he is trying really fucking hard to ingore Miyukis incest shit because he KNOWS she wants his D.
You also see that he has a lot more emotions than he himself thinks he has.
>She seems like she acknowledges him but that's pretty much it
What. She fucking adores him. He basically showed her how to use her now staple magic. If i remember right she is basically a light version of Tatsuya without Regrowth/Decomposition/MB.
Does attracting attention to onii-sama when he's supposed to remain low key and risking his identity to be revealed count as something? She knows nothing about the sponsor or internal clan politics. Also, naively beliefs that as heir the other branches will bow down to her and respect Tatsuya out of nowhere. Nevermind that she wouldn't be heir for a long time and she's just be shut in the main house never going anywhere with the Yotsuba just asserting more control over her.
She's done nothing really. The only thing she's good for is attracting males but considering she's into her brother instead she's not even good for politics.
>I will not give up hope on season 2
Then you should have wished Mahouka wasn't animated by MadHouse. It's widely known that MadHouse's owner doesn't accept 2nd seasons, so negotiations for more cours need to be done up front. When No Game No Life (NGNL)'s author was asked if there was a 2nd season, he pointed out that MadHouse typically doesn't do 2nd seasons.
Now, you might hope for a crossover between Mahouka and another popular show. That could happen. The authors of both Sword Art Online and Mahouka collaborated on a crossover story and there should be a tank coming out for it along with 4koma and other art inside.
