The May issue of Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine is announcing on Saturday that manga artist Taskohna will launch the manga adaptation of the Fate/stay night game's "Heaven's Feel" route in the following issue on May 2. The May issue is running a 25-page prologue. The manga will adapt Sakura's route from Type-Moon's game.
Maybe even the nips are getting tired of constant seiba advertising?
I-I still can't see how that would work unless Miura spends a disproportionate amount on Saber's goals and dreams in 2nd cour
>She moves on
That's the thing, she doesn't fully find her answer. She stays with Shirou so that maybe he can help her find her answer, whereas in True, she finds it herself. I don't particularly like either endings in regards to Saber's development (since they just lack of it), but True had a bit more of a conclusion.
Because moving on would mean she accepts her death, not contentiously starving it off with magus jizz. God that's so stupid it's just as dumb as Caster and Rider being allowed to stick around. Servants do not belong in the world of the living. Period. .
Why? No matter what the dumb fucker still has his death wish. The only thing Shirou deserves is to be crushed by his ideals and in his dying moments realize that he tossed too much away. But he's such a broken person He would die happy no matter what.
wasnt that the plan that ufotable had for the fate series, but ended up going for the UBW and HF adaptations first and foremost?
maybe after the HF movies, and after that thy can do a tsukihime adaptation
Looks like it may cover rider's summoning
Fair enough. Good to know they don't just hate Saber at least.
They sure failed at that because Shirou fucks up Rin's plan to save IIya from the doctor's visit in the upcoming episode even more than how it went down in the original novel. Can he rally be worse than now? Because holy shit, I've never wanted a character to die so badly.
>they do give her a lot of air time in the first season
They really didn't. At every opportunity they could have taken to do an optional Saber scene, they either straight up chose the Rin choice, or skipped the scene entirely.
Yeah, but it was just with the moe bits, not any serious scenes (please do not start arguing about the saberwank fighting scenes). And in 2nd cour, all I've heard is that they really milk her caster scene. So I'm worried that all they see her as is sales and not much of a character. But it's UBW, so I guess I can't say too much.
Jesus Christ at least wait until tomorrow night to do your bitching. We're still just going off of hearsay translated from a guy who admittedly thinks it's a terrible adaptation.
If I remember right, they added one scene in the anime that had Saber that wasn't in the VN; it was the one in the shed where she asks about Shiour's tracing.
You add it all up and they've been surprisingly conservative about featuring her.
>Mainly moe scenes
Very small moe scenes that are essentially just for fanservice. And like the other anon mentioned, the shed scene. All her serious scenes don't make it in, which I don't really like. I feel like they could've spent some time developing her since the pacing was alright for the most part.
Hey, let's wait till 2nd cour airs to play boogieman
The first season was fine. They could have built things up a bit better, but it was solid. If they just completely fuck up the second half, believe me, I will join in on everyone's whining parade, but I'm not going to preemptively bitch over something I've thoroughly enjoyed up to this point.
A little rustled, but I'd be able to deal with it.
No Emiya in pic related would have me asspained for months.
Honestly, that's pretty much my line of reasoning. Not even Takeuchi
Yeah, but I just want Arturia. I'm not really a fan of her clones. So to be fair, actual Arturia content that's not ads isn't that high. Last time we really got fanservice was 2007 with LE.
I think it's very unlikely they'd do it all in one movie, but at the same time you put me back a few years and I'd say it'd be very unlikely to try and do UBW in one movie.
I know it's a different studio, but I just don't want to put any wrong info out there. One more confirmed, more quite possible.
Nobody cares about Arturia, Blue is old content. Red is the new hotness.
I think the Fate fanbase is pretty amazing because they're not split over liking different parts of a franchise, they're not split over liking different entries in a series, they're mainly split over liking different bits of the same damn piece of material.
There's been a trailer out since July, man. Announced the same day as UBW, though there hasn't been a single word about it since then. The manga is the closest thing, and that's only tangibly related.
>they're not split over liking different parts of a franchise
No. we're like that as well. Don't delude yourself. The only "Fate" we can all agree is complete shit is Fate/Prototype, everything else is up for debate.
There's event going on as late as August 23rd, and it's still going under the [Unlimited Blade Works] banner. I highly doubt we're gonna get the movie this year.
That all we know?
Would rather just have UBW2 ten years later greater grail electric boogaloo.
Just to see Shirou and Rin in a more mature light and setting.
Like a weird mix of Zero and UBW.
There are people on /a/ at this very moment who think this is some kind of insult
I can't wait for the secondary reactions when Shinji attempts to rape Rin, and then she goes and saves him.
Frankly it's basically hard to care that much when Archer was more or less insane at the time, and Rin herself didn't care at all or hold it against him either. Plus Archer did try to stop Shinji and Gilgamesh. He phrased the situation like a jackass to provoke Shirou and Saber, he was looking to make Shirou hate him and Saber to go save Rin.
But if you bring it up multiple times every single day maybe someday everyone will hate Archer as much as you do?
I'll choose to rejoice about this news.
Despite the opinions, HF has always been my favorite route. You can barely bring it up without a "Yeah, but..." though. Hard to say it's good without someone mentioning how it's somehow shit.
This is reason enough to feel some mild sense of excitement anyway.
I like how you think I'm the only person who brings it up. Kinda almost flattering.
And I don't hate Archer, but it's probably the most out there thing he does in the novel, and it's good thing to point out for people who like to say Archer wasn't an antagonist in UBW.
