After Turning Point 5 Time Skip 50 years.
No fucks given as Sylphy and Roxy are still alive and his kids are likely all chantless-magic, sword-god, badasses!
Yeah, as lewdness mostly stems from the curse, thus shouldn't be hereditary. Though, picking up on clues dropped by Lize and Rudy, Sylphy isn't a slut, but she's a freak in the sheets.
>Was willing to accept and actually liked anything Rudi did to her in the bed.
>Asked her Granny for sex tips often.
>Wants to turn the tables on Rudy in the bed.
>mfw Sieghardt is likely going to date a Supard race girl, due to other girls avoiding his green hair.
>mfw that girl is Ruijerd's daughter.
people actually thought it was the harry potter of LNs
Well all good things must come to an end and Rudi pretty much did everything in this world except
>go to heaven continent
>fight remaning laplace
Gotta leave something to do for nanahoshi's buddies
- apparently Phyllis (Eris' great granddaughter, Ars' granddaughter) liked Rudy's bracelet and tried to steal it when he was asleep
- keep in mind he is 74 years old at the moment
- he got in the familiar white room with a certain mosaic guy again
- hitogami is defeated, all limbs chained, and all his moves sealed
- can't even see the world anymore
- "who did this?" "look behind you"
- orsted, lara, and many other people he didn't know, including a redheaded braided girl who looks like eris, and a black-haired japanese-looking boy
- lara seems to notice rudy and waved, black-haired boy asks something, becomes surprised, then bows at rudy
- everyone else follows suit
- they all left via magic circle
- hitogami: "you happy now!?"
- rudy: "yeah I guess"
- he wakes up and sees a redheaded braided 5-year old girl who looks like eris holding his bracelet
Rudy, 34 years old, awoke to a new day
10 years have passed since that fateful battle
Though more peaceful, Preparation continue, ever vigilant
The family grows with Lili Grayrat & Christina Grayrat, the Grayrat line seemingly Matrilineal
Ariel also knew motherhood with 5 kids with plans for the Kingdom
Years have gone as people grow, except maybe Roxy aging ever so slow
The Mad Dog it seems have calmed down greatly, but he still gets attacked whenever she's horny
The day also came when his sisters each became a bride, regarding their husbands, I guess he let them slide
The chapter ends with a visit & a talk with Paul, as he looks forward to the future...
Well I'm impressed auther could've milked it past due date like any shomen jump tiitle ever but ended it at a good point. Sure more world building would be nice but all in it was good read.....of this is actually the end
side story rudi's autobio
They even researched his gear from his original magic staff to his future MkIII & also the spells he often used.
It's interesting to how future scholars see him now seeing his & his friends' achievements in various fields like:
Created MP/Mana potions, his no-chant techniques, future Magic armor, Functioning magic dolls, increasing literacy, etc
He's gained more new names like "Strongest Magician" & "Academic God that renewed school education".
Its stated there that he was kind & sociable...also a pervert. Will protect his loved ones at all cost (Stating a story of "little credibility" of how he went to Pergeius fully armed to protect his son).
Some background on what happened to others too like Cliff becoming pope & Alexander becoming the Left arm of the Dragon.
I know what you mean, I am 10 volumes behind. I shouldn't have clicked on the thread.
At least read as far as the showdown against Orsted.
>Rudi is back in the white world continuing from his dream when he died at the age of 74 years(Yes, Rudi is dead, RIP)
>The dream he saw in ch 260 was an illusion produced by Hitogami to make him lazy.
>Fortunately he didn't.
>It was the first time HG saw the REAL Rudeus Greyrat, NOT his fat body.
>HG can only see the souls of people. He did know that Rudi's soul was different from his body tho.
>HG is talking as if feeling helpless about how he can finally act, now that Rudi is dead. He's still not given up.
>Rudi is happy, he has no regrets, he keeps a calm demeanor the whole time HG is shouting.
>Rudi says that his work is now over, he can happily pass on his legacy to his children, he's satisfied.
>Rudues : "Hey, Hitogami, I don't think I dislike you that much."
>Rudi says that it was only because of HG that he was able to do this much, that if HG wasn't there Rudi would've settled with Sylphy and lived a boring but satisfactory life. Although he states that this life can't even be compared to the life he lived.
>HG thinks it's a ploy on Rudi's part to make him lazy.
>Rudi asks just who bought him in this world.
>HG doesn't know shit, says he would've intervened if he did, but Rudi suddenly appeared during the teleport incident, before that he didn't know anything about him.
>Rudi requests if there is another who is transmigrated like him, to give that person a word from him. HG refused. Obviously.
>Rudi asks what's going to happen to him, HG says naturally the soul turns into mana, mixes up with someones mana or re-composites itself to something. But he doesn't know since Rudi isn't of that world.
>Rudi slowly begins to fade, unaware of his fate, he moves forwards.
The guy in the hitogami future is Rudy reincarnated again And married Lara
It was the first time HG saw the REAL Rudeus Greyrat, NOT his fat body.
HG can only see the souls of people. He did know that Rudi's soul was different from his body tho.
Isn't this a contradiction? What is the "real" Rudeus soul?
>A group of kids are summoned by Hitogami as heroes to defeat the evil orsted.
>One of them is Rudeus reincarnation, who gets back his memories at that moment.
Htgm faces when.
>Rudy feeling satisfied as he disappear into thin air..
>"I guess I had a wonderful life...I'm okay with this...My past life..my past regrets...Thank you to whoever who you are, the one that brought me in that world..Thank you."
>In a certain hospital in Japan, a man has been in coma for 50 years, wakes up.
HG can't actually see people's physical body, just their soul, HG didn't know what Rudeus' physical body looked like. After current Rudeus died, his soul changed shape and now looks like the current incarnation instead of fat one which was what HG always saw before this. Or something like that?
The new girl seems interesting, though I'm a bit afraid if Hitogami can use her by mentioning Nanahoshi's relationship with Akito and destroyed the loop.
re-composites itself into something
Hopefully not Laplace
The kanji means useless addition, superfluity and redundancy.
If you read it separately it means snake's pace, like how a snake moves unnecessarily or moves too much for movement. Get it.
What anime world would you most want him to reincarnate into next?
Got a long way to go!
Based on the official site It's the end of Rudy's run. If he's actually dead or not is "unknown" (though it looks very fucking final) as the author could always have him return in some unknown all-according-to-time-warp-magic-plan way. However, as of this point, Rudy is no longer the MC. Lara and the rest of his kids will be taking the role of Protagonist.
Are there any other protagonists in works of fiction who you become attached to simply because you followed them through their entire life from birth to death? I can only think of Ezio Auditore.
Its bugging the hell out of me how Rudeus dying before highlights of the story. I mean +20 volume from the moment his birth, we are reading his life and how strong he gets. I'm not saying it will be shit if Rudeus gone but it will not be the same.
Is this another one of those LN's where the MC is uberpowerful and destroys everything that comes at him?
I feel like there are a lot of those coming out these days, like Re:Monster or that one where the demon king reincarnates into a human or something.
I don't really care for those kinds of LN's, they always seem too gary-stu'ish for me.
>Is this another one of those LN's where the MC is uberpowerful and destroys everything that comes at him?
No, not at all. Not even close.
MC is dead now, and even in the end he was barely in the top 7.
And he wasn't actually stronger than the 7th guy, he had to have help of fuckton of people to achieve it.
Initially I had the same impression as you, but 14 volumes in and I don't really feel that way. Rudi is strong, very strong even but he's not at the level of the ones who are turning the cogs around the world.
He can't even fight whit his biggest enemy because he gets too old. What the fuck are you talking about ? Also no, he never gets too cocky whit his power and deffinitly he is not the strongest one.
Finished reading the last chapter.
Akito is likely the protagonist of the next novel (likely won't be titled Mushoku Tensei, it wouldn't make any sense it if was)
I can't wait to see Lilia and Akito's story and how Rudy's actions have saved their fate.
Lilia's life was shit. Suffering hundreds of loops where she dies brutally at the age of 10. Living where she gives up all hope. No power to change things unlike Orsted. She has tried and suffered for it.
Last loop she finally meets someone who brings back hope, he dies in a war and she uses all of her power to change things. Somehow. Now she gets to see the world post Rudy.
>the MC is uberpowerful and destroys everything that comes at him?
Actually I think he fails in most of the non-fodder challenges so far.
>nearly dies to random kidnappers
>gets run out of town by angry mobs
>gets beaten up by catpeople and thrown in jail
>nearly dies to Orsted
>nearly dies to a Hydra
>nearly dies to Afote
>a mouse ruins his whole life
>nearly dies to Orsted again despite having a Gundam
>endorses a military coup but can't do shit to a 100 year old woman
Who cares about that. He basically has 3 super model dere wives, a lot of kids, made himself rich as fuck through his own work, a lot of good friends and bros and ends up being in history a man who dominated his age through his works.
He is not some stupid super powered hero, instead he goes down in history remembered with a legacy as few will be.
Looks like I have a reason to post this
Oh god its really hurts. Mushoku Tensei is the first LN I'm really get into and reach the current chapter. Now thinking about Rudi is dead its really fucking hurts. I'm sure if this was manga or VN it wouldn't affect me this much but whit LN, after reading every detail and thoughts of this guy, from the birth till death.
I know he had a good life but he's just one those characters you bond greatly. I get like this every fucking time.
He does become strong, top tier strong. But he still has people standing above him that he knows that he can't fight.
The refreshing thing about this story is that the MC never become arrogant or overconfident. His past-life mistakes keep him grounded, and his slight understanding of the future is a grim reminder that every step could be his last. So he struggles to become strong, find dependable people, and do the best he can before he dies.
From the moment he became serious, he knew he'd be laying the groundwork for the generations to come. He sees himself as the Initiator, not the Protagonist.
Alright, thanks. I tried reading it for a little while but felt a little (irritated, maybe?) about how he was already practicing magic at a young age and getting further in it than anyone else. I was afraid it was going to go in a Mahouka-like direction.
I'll try it again.
Unlike the Re:monster MC that have a broken ability that can asimilated almost all the skills, and have combat experience, the MC of MT have a MP of a character lv 99 but only can do magic lv 50 and with his gundam only have a power of a character lv 75
>rudi is dead
I can't deal with this feels.
There's really no major mysteries left, well other than who his sisters married off to.
We now know why the summoned happened, why Rudeus was brought here, etc.
Rudy's story really is over with.
The true "hero" was Akito all along, and Rudy was a backdrop. A side-character of a historical past.
We just read 24 volumes of a prologue story that sets up your standard hero summoning story. That's pretty neat actually.
I just can't deal with this, I mean I felt like this before after finishing a book but this is another kind of feels. I know he died happy and content, surrounded by his family, but it just hurts.
Yes. He was summoned as a "hero" into the world to fight a greater evil, to be used as pawn by the kingdom. And fated to befriend a powerful miko.
Basically your typical Narou isekai hero, with all the cliche plots.
But he dies unsuccessfully, and that triggers the Miko to cause a massive "change" in attempt to change his fate.
This results in Rudy. Rudy is literally that standard trope of "great man who came to this world prior to the hero from our own world, and did many great deeds" that so many narou novel uses.
Rudy's actions drastically changes the stage and history, likely resulting in Akito and Lilia having a happy end.
I bet Akito will have a harem consisting of at least Lilia and Nanahoshi too.
That's why the final epilogue is actually called "Prologue".
We just read 24 volumes of what's normally a pre-history in other novels.
>We just read 24 volumes of what's normally a pre-history in other novels.
And that's the best thing about it.
Honestly, I haven't read a story like this ever, this is definitely one of my favourites.
But those are reserved for Akito to deal with.
They were never Rudy's problem.
Yeah, unfortunately that IS an unresolved element.
But at the point we learned she is conscious, I think it was meant to be end of that plot.
I still distinctly remember how cheap I thought Rudy being a NEET was when I first read this. But damn that was long ago and now the fucker has pretty much latched onto me like malignant tumor. I then realize just how stronger the bricks hit me because he was a NEET. Damn man.
You mean it hit you like a truck?
I am more concerned about
Orsted, hopefully he becomes the new MC or that no one fucking forgets about Rudi and just calls him an ancient legend
The resurrection of Laplace is 80 years down the road from Rudy who was around 20 years old.
The summoning of Akito is 100years after Rudy was born.
Akito and Laplace is literally the "hero and the demon lord" of this story.
Well he literally was, but from us the readers' POV Rudy was our hero. So it's all good.
Akito's story is probably a hell of a lot more generic.
Although Magonote can probably still write it well enough, and I'd like to read it.
>mfw slyphie and roxy has to live hundreds year without him
>being a NEET was a crutch and was aptly used for his character development
>from scum of the earth to genuinely likable hero
Commonality always garners sympathy and Rudy just hits all the sweet spots because of his previous background. It's doubtful you would have given a large amount of fucks if the guy was your average highschool student flung into a fantasy world.
Hitogami is that "evil god pulling strings".
Rudy saw Akito leading the party of heroes who defeated Hitogami. So basically, Laplace is the "Maoh" endboss and Hitogami is that "God" true endboss.
>laplace vs akito
>laplace is pushing akito's shit in
>all of a sudden clouds part
>our god and saviour rudi descends from heavens with his magic armor
>gives a big ass whooping to laplace, saves the day and reunites with his family also resurrecting eris
>trying to read new chapters
>can't concentrate because spoilers made me depressed as hell
To clarify, summoning of Nanahoshi was the "direct" result of the miko's outburst of power.
But a soul of someone who died on the scene got sucked into the dimensional rift, and reborn as a baby. Rudy's summoning was literally an accident. (or so it seems, we don't know how omnipotent the miko's power is)
But it was Rudy that became the catalyst, and changed the course of history. Rudy's "strength of destiny" was stronger than anyone else, even more so than "the hero" or Seven Star, the great sage. Heck his destiny was probably even stronger than Orstead or Hitogami.
Eris......now that really breaks my heart while simultaneously gives a happy tear to my heart. Eris lost her family but Rudy gave her a huge family and all the adventure quest she could need. Feel sad as she grew old the other two wife's stayed relatively the same. That must have sucked for her
>"great man who came to this world prior to the hero from our own world, and did many great deeds" that so many narou novel uses.
I haven't come across this trope in dime a dozen animu LN adaptations, is this largely territory of even more dime a dozen bargain bin LN trash about NEETs and high schoolers going to fantasy land?
Well, the isekai type web novels haven't been adapted into anime much yet.
It's a trope in Narou novels, which you obviously are unfamiliar with.
I can think of at least 5~6 novels I'm following currently that have this trope.
Also let me add, Mushoku Tensei is the crowned king of Narou webnovel site, undefeated first place in popularity for the past 2 years or so.
More so than Log Horizon and Overlord combined, and those two have anime adaptations.
Btw, Mahouka was the number 1 until it was taken off the website, an year before Mushoku started.
It's a wonder why this hasn't been offered anime yet.
because its simply cant. There is some work which cant be animated like this or Muvluv unless you can do like at least 3 season. The usual 12, heck even 24 episode isnt enough at all.
I feel that this like a lot of other series wouldn't really work as an anime unless a lot of budget and effort was put into it, which will probably never happen because LN adaptions always seem to be half-assed.
>It's a wonder why this hasn't been offered anime yet.
Because it would be a Jojo-class undertaking.
I think 24 episodes of infancy+tutoring+travelling would be more interesting than 24 episodes of Muv-Luv Extra though.
>I think 24 episodes of infancy+tutoring+travelling would be more interesting than 24 episodes of Muv-Luv Extra though.
you get the point, you need a lot of episode just to scratch the story.
Say if you had to sell this for 12 year olds would it still have it's flavor? As anime I mean, not to mention the majority of the appeal is in seeing how Rudy grows up from 40 year old freak into a regular human being of sort.
And season 3 never because no money, you just prove my point. Also, Spice & wolf had an interesting story from the beginning, some shit happen. Nothing really happen early with MT.
>Rudi becomes Laplace
>Eris comes back as his demon wife
>Confront akito while explaining to Orsted that he wants to kill hitogami
>Orsted and Laplace (Rudi) team up
>Makes Silphy young
Problem is the true beauty of mushoki tensei is things coming full circle. You need to tell like at least 60% of the story to get how well told it is. I think a visual novel like setup like the fate franchise would be infinitely better as there's no time constraint but still artwork to admire. plus isn't making vn cheaper then animes?
It is, but as far as I'm aware HP is at least above average in terms of the sheer quantity of throwaway lines that end up being brought back up, to the point that Rowling had to actively deny that some random named background character was a person of any significance to the story.
Honestly reading this series made me so attached to rudy and his whacky adventures and now it turns out he is just the stepping stone to the real story
I really hope Akito will be a worthy Mc.
Rudy was like the hype so i hope the Akito lives to our expectatios
>I haven't come across this trope in dime a dozen animu LN adaptations, is this largely territory of even more dime a dozen bargain bin LN trash about NEETs and high schoolers going to fantasy land?
No, this is a thing you more often see in generic fantasy stories and RPGs. It's a pretty popular trope all around the world.
Because Eris is a type of fighter who fight with instinct rather than mind and feel. She wouldn't waste time thinking about strategy or aura shit. Just kill the enemies and fuck Rudy.
Well biggest problem I have with that is that yes it might be a better route then anime if yes you can cram so many hours of story telling in a couple dozen hours of game play but then again I haven't played any visual novels and I wager not much of /a/ has either i want to say
yes it might work better then a 12 or 24 episode anime
Yes Rifujin na Magonote could probabably write a couple of bad ends for game plays purposes as its seen he is quite good at it(cause and effect)
I just don't know much about VN to say much of an opinion
Yeah, right. It's ability is on par with Mk.I. Lili Greyrat(Fifth daughter) took the research and created the all-purpose Magic Armor series which are useful for exterminating Jumbo sized monsters.
Remember Asura Kingdom and why Orted helped Ariel? Why he needed Ariel to be king so the Asura Kingdom survives 100 years later? Remember when Orsted said that a child is born there that defeats Laplace?
Yeah, that's the new MC.
Yeah, i prefer they adapt the six volume, ending foreshadowing the magic academic. some part of the novel (Like Lilia PoV of Rudy in vol1, ghyslaine adventurer storys in vol2, aisha troll of vol6) may work as special of dvd/Bluray
Tsundere Kyonyuu Ojousama, Kuudere Henyuu Sensei, and Deredere Inverse Trap Obamajimmy all won and established an extended warrior clan for the Orsted Megacorp International family business.
So if we think about Mushoku Tensei as pre story, is that mean the new story is about to begin should be even longer than 24 volume ? I honestly don't know, how this stuff works when it comes to LN. And whit that how long it takes to new volume/chapter to come out ?
yessssssssssssss!.....Its been a while since I've felt such exstacy
From what the spoilers say is that
>the soul will become mana and dissipate
Can't Rudy find a way to convert a part of his soul or using some of the mana other people have turned became into a new body since magic is limitless?
Imagine the most generic "Japanese highschooler goes to a fantasy world, becomes the chosen one, builds a harem, defeats the Maou, and kills God" story you can think of.
Now imagine that his story was easymodo because somebody already put the framework for his success in place by developing the equipment he would use, building the alliances he can call on, and being the progenitor for his haremettes, causing everything to be boring.
That's the sequel. It doesn't need to be written because it already exists in your heart.
>hitogami summons someone to fight back
>whoever summoned rudy
>hitogami summons another
>back and forth
>final story has hundreds of overpowered fucks flying around the planet blowing each other up
story ends when aliens kill hitogami and conquer everything
Where does he say that? If you mean しばらくは蛇足編として２４～３４までの１０年間の話、３４歳以降の話、子供たちに焦点をあてた話, that's talking about how he wants to write about the kids during the 10-year period from 24-years-old (where he is now, I believe) and 34-years-old.
I can't find a specific volume count anywhere.
Oh, looks like I got too excited and didn't read properly. Sorry. ;_;
Then the Sol would be about the 10 years(Rudi aging b/w 24-34yrs), Rudi after 34 years and children's story. Also, 2 chapters/month? I need to sleep.
He won all the pussy he could want.
All that fame he could want (7th power)
All that power he got( Negi from Negima with basicaly hulkbuster ironman armor
Set things in motion to fuck up god
HOW DO YOU QUESTION HIS GREATNESS?
Don't crush the last piece of hope, in me anon. You guys don't do this to me ;_;
he died peacefully of old age, with 3 wives, at least 5 or 6 kids (I forget is it 4 daughters 2 sons, or 4 daughters 1 son?). Grandchildren, and direct connections/friendships with the leaders of several nations and organizations.
And his god enemy decided to leave him alone
You know, Rudy set up a lot of typical RPG points.
He invented mana potions and assisted in making magical armor that enhances physical abilities.
He sealed an immortal demon in a valley of dragons, and helped in sealing a God with chains and everything that screams final boss or hidden boss just looking at it.
He made worldwide teleportation systems.
He made the era of swords turn more toward magic through literacy and new knowledge.
The only thing he's missing is establishing communications with a fucking Moon race or something and flying ships.
There's not actually all that much left unexplained.
People keep saying 'Zenith's memories!' but those were explained. She has her memories, just her experience in the dungeon crystal fucked her up in certain ways.
It was just a pretty rock her grandfather liked. Get over it.
Not everything has to be a rare item that summons fucking Bahamut.
All that's mentioned is they both married guys with complex circumstances. Different guys; they both didn't marry Ruijerd, though one may have.
She did it by accident. She was just trying to change the past to help Akito, but noticed Rudy's soul slip through the rend she made, and then Rudy made far more changes than she could ever hoped for.
So she did it, but Rudy was, in the end, a random factor no one predicted.
Here's one example. Chapter 237
>Entrance exams and tests.
It's got a nostalgic ring.
>"I wonder how many years have passed over there."
"Don't say unpleasant things."
>Since she came here, roughly 15 years have passed.
>If 15 years passed over there, she would be like Urashima Tarou.
It may be possible that as soon as she teleports, Nanahoshi ages 15 years, too.
>"However, I somehow get the feeling that not that much time has passed."
>With a drunk face, I told her my thoughts.
>"Me and Nanahoshi were run over by a truck on the same day, right? However, I came here around 10 years before you. So the flow of time is probably different between here and there. That's why, you don't need to worry."
"Huh, is that s——"
>Nanahoshi suddenly put on a thoughtful face.
>"…………… Wait a minute. What do you mean, we were run over by a truck on the same day?"
>"Does that mean that you were there?"
"Ummm, that is."
"Wait a minute, huh, wait…"
>Nanahoshi put her finger on her forehead and shut her eyes as if trying to remember something.
She suddenly raised her face.
>"The fatass from back then."
>Ah, Aaaaah… What have I done…
It's because of the alcohol. Even though I was so careful.
Or rather, that's rude. What do you mean by fatass? Although I was certainly obese…
>"Uwah, I see, so it's that person, Rudeus is that person…! Eeeh, you became this cool, Heeeeh…!"
>Nanahoshi put her hand to her mouth and opened her eyes wide.
Not good, she's become excited.
I thought she'd be disgusted, but she somehow seems happy.
>"Um, Nanahoshi=san… If possible, that is, I'd be thankful if you could keep it a secret from everybody."
>"… If they find out, they may abandon me."
"I don't think they chose you because of your face, though…"
"Even so, there are things I'd like to keep a secret."
"… I guess so."
Everything with an arrow before it is totally missing.
Also, it's not just that chapter, pretty much every chapter in volume 22's epub has missing lines that make it confusing to figure out who is saying what and when and why and how.
>tfw rudi is no longer relevent in the important events
It's one of the things Rudy's listed as having done after becoming the 7th world power during the epilogue sequence summarizing his life.
Granted the potion had no effect on Orsted for some reason.
He wrote magic books detailing chantless methods, improved literacy, his Mark series armors were used to later create a generalized armor, world-wide teleportation system, and has had a hand in Zanoba's magic dolls.
Should be noted that none of these are listed as Rudy's sole achievement, or even him being the primary contributor. Like improved literacy is credited to Roxy, the teleporting credited to Nanahoshi, Zanoba the dolls, etc.
The only thing not listed throughout the epilogue is gravity magic, which going by a future vision Hitogami shows Rudy, Rudy easily masters it.
Granted we don't actually know if Orsted beats Hitogami or not. All we saw was a future vision Hitogami showed Rudy, and afterwards Hitogami declared to Rudy that he'll completely turn it around, and that he's following Rudy's example and making allies little by little.
An autobiography is a biography you write yourself though?
How would future historians be able to accurately record Rudi's achievements when everything he does gets blown out of proportion (like that time he was the school bancho)
>Why does Hitogami need to die?
Because Orsted's dad told him to kill him. That's all. They don't even kill him anyway.
>What was the red sphere that showed up in Eris's house?
A really shiny rock.
So, Rudi's daughters, do you think they'll drop Greyrat and take on their husband's name? I want them to keep the name so when the descendants introduce themselves people will think of Rudeus Greyrat.
A loli harem.
But yeah, it's fucking shit. He's so nonchalant about being stuck in a game that it pisses me off.
Are there even any good LNs that handle being transported/reincarnated in a game/fantasy world well? Log Horizon comes to mind but that's it.
Fuck it's the first LN I read and fuck I fell sad and happy it didn't have a shit ending but I would not be mad if they resurrected him just for the big fight Lara crying cuz she was able to see her dad one last time oh my heart
Only the LN version of Shieldbro was licenced, B-T doesn't seem to think this extends to the WN.
>Are there even any good LNs that handle being transported/reincarnated in a game/fantasy world well? Log Horizon comes to mind but that's it.
Don't think so. The Sword of Eternity VN's handle it well, though.
But nothing beyond that point. Other series would have been completely removed by now. Like Index.
Besides they could consider Spear Hero Gaiden to be separate from the main story like Index NT (and previously SAO Progressive until YP announced they picked that up too)
Technically, Lara does see him one last time.
After Rudy meets Hitogami who's all sealed away, Lara waves to Rudy. She seems to tell everyone else Rudy's here as well, and they all thank him in their own ways, with the Japanese man doing a Japanese-y bow.
Rudy doesn't get that they're waving to him though and thinks they're thanking Hitogami.
It was a vision of the future to hopefully encourage Rudy to lessen his activities.
All we know is that the future visions Hitogami sees can be changed through Hitogami's efforts, as well as Rudy's. So the vision itself is likely true, but possible to change depending on what Hitogami does, which Hitogami thinks he can fuck it up pretty hard.
He gloats after Rudy's dies (which is well after the vision) that he's going to have Rudy's family tearing each other apart and that he's been making allies slowly, like Rudy had been.
Rudy and Roxy publicized their findings in magic. So how to raise mana capacity at a young age and chantless magic, as well as increased literacy rate and mana potions has made room for an era of mages.
So, if I'm reading this correctly......
>Souls sort of temporarily conserve magic power.
>Hitogami said that he isn't sure if Rudy's soul is gonna be the same as a regular soul since it's an other worlder's soul
>Rudy's soul was left in Hitogami's lair.
..... I guess this is good news for those who wanted Rudy to participate in the last boss battle; it's literally spelled straight.
It's explained that souls return to the stream of mana or whatever, get mixed up and recycled.
Hitogami doesn't know what will happen to Rudy's, but gets annoyed when Rudy has yet to disappear.
Rudy then starts to fade and just starts walking away from Hitogami without turning back.
Clearly an open ending not meant to be expanded upon.
It feels more like Rudy played on New Game, then Akito came by and started New Game+ with Rudy's save.
I mean really, Rudy literally prepped everything he could for the fucker. The only role we know he did was convincing the future miko to accidentally reincarnate Rudy. He might be completely worthless after Rudy fulfilled his role.
Rudi definitely did alot of things but it doesn't change the fact that Rudi's whole life was nothing but a table setting up the table for the Akito party.
Akito couldn't really do much the first time because he was unprepared but now that everything is ready for him he will really be the "heroe" that will defeat the final bosses.
What if Rudy can guide Akito from the Void World like HItogami, combining his Foresignt and Clairvoyance eyes to reproduce Hitogami's omniscience, without the constraints of a physical body causing his brain to explode if he tries to look more than a second into the future?
Besides, he's like the Leonardo DaVinci of his foster world, I mean, sure isn't in the league of those legends that once were in that world, but I don't know, it looks like a great lifeline for me. Would sing in as mine without remorse.
I think stories like this needs guts to write. It should be so hard for author, to write Rudeus and Eris ending. I mean it was a hell of a ride especially when you think their first advanture whit Rudes, Eris, Ruijerd. Oh god my heart is kill.
This would be a genius plot point and be able to keep Rudi relevant, I would love to see Rudi be like a guide and mentor to Akito and help him get rid of Hitogami by giving him tips in the dream world while also being bros.
Sylphy was a lot more interesting when she was pretending to be a dude.
Speaking of which is there any description of what type of sunglasses she was wearing? If there was one I missed it so I just gave her Char's shades in my head.
He came from a different world and is therefore not constrained by the metaphysical rules of this one. For example Orsted's curse fails to function on otherworlders like Nanahoshi and Rudeus. The author could easily extend this to any number of bullshit Laplace tries to pull.
Akito and Lara might be a couple. When Lara tells him that Rudy's by Hitogami, he does a respective bow.
This could be either thanking him for saving him/Banana from the truck, or 'greeting' his father-in-law. It's pretty vague.
Not that guy but having Akito interact with Rudi might be interesting to watch.
For example, Akito asks what kind of things Lara likes.
Or ask how to make her fall for him.
Or how Rudi pretends to get mad that he had sex with his daughter but deep down he's happy that his daughter found someone that makes her happy.
Is the author even planning to write an Akito series? It kind of feels like you can guess how things go thanks to Rudy prepping everything.
>detected by Magic Stasi spy network
>fast-response armored magic marines deploy to his location via teleport and nuke him
>they go to the void world and nuke Hitogami
All we know is Rudy's side of the story has ended, but he's going be writing volumes of slice of life stuff, among other tidbits that still take place with Rudy.
So if he may eventually write one about Akito. Hitogami is apparently setting up a form of resistance, so it shouldn't be as easy as you listed.
If Hitogami is not killed, Orsted rewinds time to 200 years ago and the world enters and endless recursion of time.
If on the other hand Hitogami dying causes the world to end, then there is pretty much no win condition.
What if the next part of the stories follows Hitogami's allies
who have their own good reasons to help Hitogami and Akito become Hitogami's apostle and going around the world recruiting people and make his own harem.
The serie end with a clan war between the Greyrat and (the Yellowsnake).
Akito is the typical 'hero' summoned in these types of stories.
At the very least he has multiple love interests. Nanahoshi spent 80 years in cryo waiting for him, and the future miko used up all of her ability as a miko to help him (which also summoned Rudy).
