Danmachi is about a JRPG world featuring a main character with a super secret unique skill that makes him amazinger than everyone else and who all the heroines want to fuck, he lives with a cowtits imoutolike character and has the reputation of being the fastest in the world. Therefore it is just like SAO.
>shitposting straight out the gate
You must be really dedicated.
Reminder that this show is about attractive girls
and boysand watching it for anything else is wrong.
Goddess best girl.
Why couldn't this series be called just Dungeon ni Deai? Why did they have to make it the monstrosity it is now?
She sees his potential and wants to add him to her familia aka collection. Having a servent with a rare skill is revered by all the Gods and this slut has always taken everything she's ever wanted by force.
>the SAO genre.
I was actually triggered by this. I made it through 50 baits last thread and then you broke me.
I'm not so sure about that. I've only read the manga but they haven't explained too much about the world. It's terribly slow paced and they've only showed interactions between characters plus introduction of characters. I'm not saying SAO's game world is more interesting though.
Yeah, this anime would be about 1000x more interesting if he didn't have the bullshit skill
I hate it how anime loves to give weak MCs power they don't work for nor deserve
Why can't MCs be weak and just you know... work for it?
Probably just put 2 and 2 together
It's like if you went on summer break, and this scrawny kid came back swole as fuck
You'd know he was taking steroids during the few months in between
No, the whole point of the story is that people are not born the same and people will no talent will stay shit. This is why there are people who work their entire life and get stuck as Level 1 and 2 but they can still make a decent living from it.
It's perfectly understandable that the MC would want Aiz over Hestia and I support his decision.
>They can literally give him the same power progression as he does now
If he 'worked for it' in the Danmachi universe it would take too long.
Besides, "working for it" and suddenly becoming stronger than anyone else is more bullshit than his skill. At least the skill provides a reason why he became so strong.
That's a really good question actually.
Bell does indeed receive shit from other people, but he actually puts effort into it and maximizes his skills to his fullest potential.
Though, the biggest thing that separates him from Kirito imo is that he WANTS to be the same level as the chick who saved him. So pretty much, all the growth and development you see from him is for the purpose of him wanting to be as strong as her.
I enjoyed it.
I only watch anime for the girls and cute stuff though these days.
>there are people on /a/ who don't watch and enjoy 90% of anime
>why blonde dresses as a slut.
Hestia clothing are more revealing that hers, so that'd not really a fair point.
That's right ! Never surrender anon !
It would be fucking years before he could ever be some of the higher levels like 3 or 4 and he would never reach 5 or 6 in his lifetime.
Bell would be at best in his mid twenties or early thirties before he got to level 3 or 4.
Ain't go no time for that shit, the premise is that one day Bell plans on being the one who saves Aizu in the dungeon.
And Aizu is that particular countries strongest human, so Bell has a huge ass hill to climb as it is.
I don't get it. Why does he need another girl when he has a perfectly fine oppai loli? What a fucking faggot!
/a/utists and their "serious anime"
LNfags is she relevant to the story? She is my favorite so far.
Now you, don't come bringing Ben-To around these threads.
She reminds me of her.
She likes Bell, but is in denial about it for most of the time. Her coworker teased her about it before.
Other than the date she has with Bell and being shocked about he continually breaks records in regards to leveling up, nah. Sorry man.
You too huh. I was thinking the exact character too.
People unironically thought Death Parade was the best anime last season, while calling fun shows like Yoru no Yatterman or Saekano shit because "haremshit" or "loli fanservice for pedophiles".
Who here awaits for the Minotaur fight? A man can dream, right?
Fair enough. Ok let me rephrase.
>there are people on /a/ who don't like 90% of anime
He looks very bulliable. I'll probably watch the show because of him.
It's because people use the same VA excuse when they're so brain dead that they can't figure out the real reasons they dislike a character. It's the character version of "Shit pacing". Quite hillarious really.
I think we've found the new Louise in terms of a girl who embodies pure lust.
That said, this show is fucking terrible. It's like an essay on cliche theory with an aside of forced [sub] plot progression.
She's a doting older sister to Bell most of the time, but I really don't remember her going Ara Ara. It's been a while since I read the first volumes of it, so take my words with a grain of salt.
But Ara ara is plentiful with Freya, so there you go.
>She's a doting older sister to Bell most of the time
This is true, but everyone keeps on forcing the EVERY GIRL LUSTS AFTER BELL bullshit. Ryuu's no way romantically interested in Bell either.
>"herpderp this new girl is ultra amazing super duper beautiful cute amazing I'm in love wow!"
Yeah okay, sure. I can roll with this, she was very pretty.
>has a literal goddess that blatantly wants him living with him, who is a cute as fuck shortstack, is already insanely into him and that he can talk comfortably with
>is blatantly oblivious to the fact she wants his dick hard and is falling in love with the random fucking chicks he knows nothing about
MC is a fucking cunt.
He introduced the concept of an objective scale when he rated the series. Ignoring how silly it is to allocate a rating after watching one episode of a series, neither show has done anything to elevate them beyond being very run of the mill.
DanMachi in particular is so conventional that they didn't even need to take any time to introduce or build the world in any meaningful way aside from the very cliched fairy tale style opening monologue.
So I think it's fair to vehemently disagree that either show is "10/10". At least at this point.
>Why can't MCs be weak and just you know... work for it?
That's literally what his power is. It's shit because its copy pasted harem LN bullshit, not because the mc is a special snowflake
I meant her body and her portrayal as a sex object. Look at her. She was made to take cum.
I bet Bell has such a smooth and soft dick, you'd have to be an enormous faggot to not want to play with it all night.
It's been awhile since we've had an MC who really deserves his harem.
Every single goddess so far is a vile semen demon waiting to be revealed.
>Yeah, and they can just not give him that skill so it looks like he actually worked for it
That would just make it more bullshit.
He started adventuring two weeks before the first episode.
Just platonic love dude.
If you were to ask MC what he knows about blonde that he likes from he would be in deep shit, he has no idea what he likes, dislikes, hates, dreams of, fears, etc.
They way you're expressing yourself is different to the others 3 though.
>Therefore it is just like SAO.
This is not people trapped inside a game thought, therefore characters are at least on role.
The thing I couldn't deal with SAO wasn't the main characters (there is lot of people lot more annoying and gary stu than Kirito) but the secondary characters, that were suposed to be people playing a game but they acted as if were actual knights, calling Asuna "-sama" or playing whores or dressing as if they were an army and acted as if they were soldiers.
At least in this anime characters are what they are suposed to be.
My mistake I meant:
If you were to ask MC what he knows about blonde that he likes about he would be in deep shit, he has no idea what She likes, dislikes, hates, dreams of, fears, etc.
Freya likes him as a collection, not loving him in that sense. Hestia and Lily I agree, though Omori (author) seems to push for Tiona and Bell too for some reason. Ais is still at the KININARIMASU for Bell. We'll see how things go with Oratoria 04 from her perspective.
She was VERY worried about Bell when she found out about the War Games.
>Slightly bigger than gif
You're almost there.
>They way you're expressing yourself is different to the others 3 though.
While i agree that a lot of guys on /a/ could stand to be a little more comprehensive when they express their distaste for a series, I think the general idea remains intact (so long as at least one person communicates the specifics).
That said, the show could get better. But as of this moment, it seems to be doing all it can to tell us that it has no intentions of diverting from the conventions it has so desperately stuck to so far.
And that's disappointing, because the art is quite good, so it's like watching a very well dress, well spoken gentleman stand at a podium and start rambling about nothing in particular.
Oh shit, I completely forgot about Tiona. Well fuck. But yeah, Freya's love for Bell is twisted as she desires him as part of her collection of children.
I'd rather have Hestia win because Aizu is too plain at the moment for romance. Besides killing stuff in the dungeon and how to help Bell get stronger, she doesn't think much.
>Freya likes him as a collection
Debatablem as love can be twisted, and Freya is the perfect symbol for that.
>She was VERY worried about Bell when she found out about the War Games.
Like everyone else duh.
Yes but his granddad probably didn't have a shortstack twintailed cutie who was blatant about wanting him.
Platonic love is one thing, and if the Goddess was only platonically into him (maybe she is and she's just the flirty+clingy type, I doubt it, but I don't know the source material so won't pretend I know for sure), then I wouldn't have an issue, but the whole tailchasing when he has the bushiest, cutest, softest tail around basically waving itself in his face and he ignores it just makes it annoying.
