Is this girl really the comedic, psychotic, sadistic, wall-climbing, duct-tape obsessing, chopstick enthusiast, intellectual
and implied physical rapistpeople claim she is ?
I know few individuals in Umineko come off as being paragons of mental health but its said that this one is by far one of the nuttiest (and comical).
Also in relation to the Chiester sisters are they really as dangerous as the series would suggest ?
Sadistic ✓ Masochistic ✓
wall-climbing (in a swimsuit) ✓
duct-tape obsessing ✓✓✓
chopstick enthusiast ✓
intellectual rapist ✓
physical rapist (only on battler) ✓
She's hands down off the rails insane. Not as crazy as that crossdressing lunatic though.
She drowned somewhere near Rokkenjima near the time of the incident. She definitely existed. Due to the catbox being closed it's possible that she found herself washed up on the island.
> That Checklist.
I have to ask myself would anyone be crazy enough to actually marry her.
Even if it is a forced wedding.
> crossdressing lunatic though.
There is actually someone nuttier than Erika ?
> Stakes are paper weights.
As in not that powerful ?
>I have to ask myself would anyone be crazy enough to actually marry her.
Hair and personality. Would love to get drunk with him.
I wonder if there's a translated version of this.
>You'll never be as suave as this guy
>You'll never have your own glutton stake
>You'll never be an accomplished chef working for a millionaire family
Why even bother?
Lambda is not Takano. At most it's implied that she was Lambda's piece. What Lambda is referring to is something older than all that anyways. Her diary is very informative about her personality and how lonely she is.
There's not a single thread that doesn't involve Erika. I wonder why.
Does anybody have an image of the thread some anon posted on /adv/ where he was telling the umineko storyline from Battler's perspective and asked what he should do with a girl in question (Yasu)?
Lambda is not Takano or Miyo.
I wish people would stop thinking this.
Hell, if anything else, she pretends to be Satoko and we all damn well know that Lambda wasn't born from Satoko the same way Bernkastel was born from Rika.
One implied theory people have is that Tohya, while collecting his memories, used his broken mind to make characters for Umineko forgeries ep 3-4 and took the two blonde characters from Higurashi, since Battler mentioned many times that he had read that novel.
Although true, it's not accurate.
Lambda simply pretends to act like a bumbling idiot, similar to Satoko, because she wants to get close to Bern, who's past alteration best friend was Satoko.
Also, Lambda was the one who gave the power of causality and granted the wish to become a god to Takano.
So, you know, you can't really give your past version the motivation to become a god while also being that person who gives that power. It's a impossible paradox.
Higurashi was simply a game between Featherine and Lambda.
Lamda never showed signs of insanity. She's just high on candy and fun.
I honestly don't remember that quote.
It really sounds like it's from ep 6 (since it's likely about the logic error) but Lambda never showed any mercy in that episode in any way. I might be horribly wrong.
it's assumed so but there is honestly no proof.
We don't know honestly what is written in the forgeries themselves. It's really a triple bind.
I personally think that only the actual physical events are written in the forgeries and everything else is just what the reader can see which characters on the internet can't see.
In ep 6, Ange goes to see Ikuko and tells her to stop using her as a character in her story, referencing ep 4. But I just think it references the parts of Ange's bullying in Lucia academy and ending up on the island and getting ambushed by the yakuza. Especially since the ending is very similar to the truth ending.
Good, now can you imagine ep 6 being enjoyable without Erika?
>Good, now can you imagine ep 6 being enjoyable without Erika?
Well, apparently you think ep 6 is enjoyable with Erika.
Thanks. When I become the wizard of theatergoing I'll post my stories here.
Finally found the quote. Now I have ammo against love advocates.
It's when Battler learns he's going to be trapped in the logic error room and there's nothing he can do about it. After failing to help him find any solutions Lambda offers him that tiny bit of comfort of telling her own experiences with it, but it has the opposite effect of showing how crazy it made her and Battler freaks out even more.
God I loved episode 6.
Another thing is that I think that the jumping from a high building never actually happened and was simply written by Tohya. It's also why I don't think Ange actually read the diary.
In ep 8, Ange jumps from a building the same way she did in ep 4. If she looks for the truth, she can survive anything, but finding the truth will kill her. Yet, obviously, Ange never jumped at any point and she never talked to Tohya since they only reunite years later. I find it hard to believe Ange would decide not to kill herself when Tohya predicted she would commit suicide.
>anon is an anti-love
Ahhhh, how I wish there were more people like you.
That's the quote from the asshole boyfriend, right?
He's obviously wearing a school swimsuit under his suit.
Great, now I'm imagining Featherine wearing a school swimsuit.
Thank you fucking much for that mental image you asshole.
Anyone who can't provide proof or endure Erika isn't worthy of her.
He really just sounds like an asshole who just can't handle her shit for no reason.
>trust me, if you don't I won't love you
>what do you mean you find it hard to trust me, you don't trust me because you don't love me, is that it?
>well fuck you, if you don't love me enough to trust me, then I won't love you too you bitch
>telling your ex that she's a bitch and tell her to go home
>surprised that she's crying and being emotional about it
The fact that there's SO little good Umineko hentai content saddens me greatly.
The only remotely decent thing is an album of the stakes in a rather ecchi poses, and aside from some Ange fucking at the end it features barely any nudity.
All I want is Battler hatefucking Eva, and having a threesome with Beato and Erika, maybe some Lambda and Bern fucking too - all drawn with a mangaka with a decent understanding of anatomy. Is that so much to ask?
please don't sexualize the maria
After re-reading that scene, the thing is
Erika made him choose between his acting/scriptwriting and her because Erika found evidence against him cheating or something along those lines. I feel like both of them over reacted way more than they should have and that it's really gray on who the responsibility lies.
That doesn't really change my view on her, just that they both were partially at fault and calling your ex a bitch just proves that he didn't love her. Maybe only a 'teenager love' which is probably the most shallow thing.
Weirdly enough, I cannot sexuzality any loli in Ryukishi's stories.
However, I gave so little of a shit to Maria, even though she was constantly bullied, that I'm fine with sexualizing her.
She's the type of girl who would believe you if you said that all her magic spell required cum from the person she loves the most (you) and would do everything in her power to collect as much as possible from you.
Then she would figure out that simply blowing you isn't the most efficient way but to simply receive your cum from the inside, make a magic circle for her incantation and then release the cum from inside of her by pushing it out of her slit.
>this entire post
I should've expected this.
I can sympathize with Maria sometimes (when she's left by herself while Rosa goes to Hokkaido or somewhere to fuck), but sometimes I feel the brat deserves it for being so annoying.
I also really want to re-play Umineko voiced but I hesitate because of her uu-uuing.
Sometimes it's cute, sometimes it's annoying but replaying just for the voices is a great idea as the VA's are all top-notch and save for some scenes where battler tries to bring emotion into scenes where there is none with his yells, I'd say go for it.
I dunno, it really depends what that 'evidence' is.
For all it is, it could simply be Erika's ex going on an acting interview at a restaurant with a girl or something and Erika misinterpreted it as cheating somehow.
>Maybe only a 'teenager love' which is probably the most shallow thing.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Erika is still pretty young.
You know why compeled me to write that post?
I like the fact that Maria understands why her mama isn't home and just takes care of herself. It's somewhat sad, seeing a young girl just going about her way, all autistic like with her doll, because she puts the happiness of her mother above her own.
I personally liked Maria and her uu-uuing.
What I found really meh was her 'mature' voice. It sounded more like, well, a mature voice rather than a creepy voice. As though Maria sounded older rather than creepy.
Pretty fucking clear he never loved her at all judging by that.
Poor Erika "With love you start imagining things." she must've imagined that he was always their for her and always so nice to her.
When he wasn't at all.
Speaking of relating.
While my mother isn't as coo coo for cocopuffs as Rosa is, she's still a single mother that had to raise me alone and I can kinda empathize with Rosa and what she had to go through in order to raise Maria.
I was wondering if anyone else was in the same boat.
Rosa and Eva had it the hardest imo.
Eva was incredibly talented and smart but was forced to simply being a housewife and Rosa was not very talented in anything even though she tried her hardest to be successful and a single mistake set her back so much.
Rosa really reminds me of Rena's mother except without the adultery.
>This will never happen
Who should I be angry at for this?
You should be angry at these faggots.
Erikas breasts are a mystery. Sometimes they're small, sometimes they're big.
You don't understand, she *only* has school uniforms. If Erika was a lifeguard, she would wear a red and white swimsuit, not a school swimsuit.
And what kind of professional swimmer wears a school uniform to train? That's the least practical outfit to wear.
This of it this way, the only people who wear school uniforms are those who go to school. However, Erika likely never went to school because she feels superior to any form of education of any kind.
Now imagine Erika, walking down the street, only wearing a school uniform. What would think of such a person?
Now imagine Erika, at a street corner, at night, only wearing a school uniform. What would you think of such a person?
It gives me warm feeling of bliss and joy.
>tenderly loving her
>not mocking her every step of the way and rubbing it in each time she fails.
>Krauss and his ridiculous investments spinoff vn
will never happen
Why is Ryukishi so obsessed with bullying?
Because everyone experienced bullying in one form or another.
Do you remember that time someone threw you a piece of their eraser?
Do you remember the feeling of being absolutely powerless, just holding yourself back as a person constantly annoyed you?
Do you remember the feeling of the balls of erasers, hitting the back of your head?
Nah. The latest one that is finished is RGD - Rose Gun Days.
The one he announced at april 1 is, well >>123515320
what this anon said. Also he confirmed it with red truth, so it's not an april fools.
No they 99% likely don't.
In Episode 4 when the message bottles are brought up,all that's talked about is the events on the island. Nothing about any "game" between Battler and Beatrice.
Nah, that came out in 2011.
RGD is his lastest completed work.
The last portion work is 100% translated and 60% edited.
I'm still unsure if that's true or an April fools but it's likely true.
Although I was skeptical about it, he seems to be working with competent writers so it might be good.
He's great. Too bad he's stopped with Umineko.
Definitely real. He confirmed it with red.
The first time reading, I didn't really understand what she did but after a reread, it's pretty sad.
How broken do you have to be to acknowledge to the class that you are a worthless human being?
Though, to be fair, if you were the one who forced that person to be that broken and confess like that in front of you, you'd have a hard bully boner.
He was probably insanely busy trying to get everything done for Sui. I wonder if he'll release
Welcome to bullshit love, where people fall in love not because they are a good match but because they want to feel loved.
Shannon only loved George because she was crushed by being forgotten by Battler.
George loved Shannon because that was the absolute best he could get. He had less of a spine than a fucking servant girl who couldn't talk back to someone.
Jessica only loved Kanon because he was the only one around and she desperately wanted someone.
And Kanon only loved Jessica so that he could become a human rather than furniture, even if he knew it was an illusion, he accepted that pretending it was real was better than simply rejecting love altogether.
Say what you will about Umineko, Ryukishi's multiple depiction of love was absolutely perfect.
There is about 9 different versions of love and none of them are similar.
Also, what I love about Ryukishi is that even though he presents the reasons people fell in love to be insanely shallow, as it is in real life. he makes it a point that even though his characters fell in love for non-romantic reasons, you cannot dismiss that they are in love as we understand it.
You can dismiss the reasons for being in love but not love itself.
I find this very cynical and optimistic at the same time.
It's a shame
that Kanon and Shannon were the same person who was born out of incest between Kinzo and his hidden daughter, Beatrice the 2nd and therefore, the one impersonating the Golden Witch and committed those murders on the island
Why did Kanon want to stop murder from happening if they are a single person?
Why was Shannon cool with murder happening if she doesn't exist?
How can a human ever fool someone by having two perfectly separate voice that fooled everyone?
How and where did Shannon get fake tits?
>Why did Kanon want to stop murder from happening if they are a single person?
>Why was Shannon cool with murder happening if she doesn't exist?
It's called internal conflict.
>How can a human ever fool someone by having two perfectly separate voice that fooled everyone?
Dress differently, speak differently, etc. It's not like it hasn't happened irl.
You know what would be hilarious?
If one person just went up in flames, for no fucking reason, yet would get no degree burns.
Like, that person would still feel pain and burn alive, but wouldn't die nor be able to move around.
And the only way to stop the pain is to touch someone else.
I call it the Fire Tag.
So you would have the Ushiromiya running around the island with a man person on fire trying to catch them so stop burning.
How awesome would that be?
That's one of the themes, yes.
But, you know, even if you try and be happy, delusions isn't healthy. Which is funny because in Higanbana, with the actor story, he makes it a point that if delusions are the only thing that is keeping you from committing suicide, it's preferable to do that than lose your life.
If we do, how come people still can't figure that out?
Kyrie kill everyone, stop thinking.
Nothing you read mattes.
Can't you see the obvious? It's in front of you!
You don't need to think about any plot detail in that regards since Kyrie killed everyone and nothing else is impotant.
Is that image from the manga? I don't remember seeing it. That expression, holy shit.
>If we do, how come people still can't figure that out?
Stupidity or willful ignorance.
>You don't need to think about any plot detail in that regards since Kyrie killed everyone and nothing else is impotant.
You're in the second or third categories is seems.
The manga appears to be a gold mine of odd expressions.
>Kyrie kill everyone, stop thinking.
>Nothing you read mattes.
>Can't you see the obvious? It's in front of you!
>You don't need to think about any plot detail in that regards since Kyrie killed everyone and nothing else is important.
Oh look, it's one of those Goats that everyone hates.
He doesn't think about what Kyrie being the main killer means for the story from a thematic and dramatic level.
Not to mention ignoring the foreshadowing that lead to the reveal.
And then there is this expression.
I know there is a spider-pig parody joke here somewhere but I can't find it.
>Not to mention ignoring the foreshadowing that lead to the reveal.
That's a laugh.
Oh, you mean Rudolf saying that he doesn't want to cross Kyrie after she only suggests the idea of blackmailing Krauss?
Or the meta scenes that never happened in which Kyrie is cool with killing people like flying stakes or Jessica?
The Kyrie and Rudolf culprit murder is simply the popular goat theory in the post-Prime world that tormented Ange since her youth.
It's false, and Ryukishi showed it when Erika came back in ep 8 to destroy it, stating that 'another answer' can be made.
And we all know Ryukishi loves to tease yet provides no answers.
But, you know, obviously the answer is the one all the goats agree.
Also, the Kyrie + Rudolf culprit theory is the most popular theory among goats.
Bernkastel is the collective representation of the mystery fans trying to find the answer on Prime.
In ep 8, Tohya makes a board game for Ange which gets hijacked by mystery fans who are bored of waiting for Tohya to come back.
So two forgeries are posted on the internet and Ange doesn't know which is the real one.
What's interesting is the whodunnit of the Bern mystery. It's the same Kyrie + Rudolf culprit killer but with Battler in the mix.
The mystery fans simply cannot think of another possible theory.
Now, I'm not taking sides here, but I'd just like to point out that I think that using the manga only content in arguments is a sort of a cheap shot. While certainly valid since it's official and that I'm not siding with anyone here, but I just wanted to point that out.
>Oh, you mean Rudolf saying that he doesn't want to cross Kyrie after she only suggests the idea of blackmailing Krauss?
Yes that shows how ruthless she is and how Rudolf will just go along with her plans.
>Or the meta scenes that never happened in which Kyrie is cool with killing people like flying stakes or Jessica?
Yes because those scenes are meant to reveal aspects of the character. It shows the kind of person Kyrie is. Cold and ruthless.
>It's false, and Ryukishi showed it when Erika came back in ep 8 to destroy it, stating that 'another answer' can be made.
Erika's "other answer" was a pile of crap based off a stupid unsupported technicality in Bern's game?
>And we all know Ryukishi loves to tease yet provides no answers.
You do realize that the contents of Eva's diary have been shown to be the events of the EP7 Tea Party and the truth of the Rokkenjima incident in Red, right?
It's in the manga, man. Just, you know, stop thinking.
Ryukishi got a trillion angry letters from fans bulled out of goat's assholes saying that they really really wanted an answer.
And I'm a good friend of Ryukishi, so at the second trillion letter, he snapped and decided that the manga would give the answer. Because it's OBVIOUS that Ryukishi was coerced by his fans into giving the answer.
I'd just like to say that the only things the manga revealed that I didn't already know was Kinzo's Skeleton Room and Yasu projecting her attraction to Battler, George, and Jesssca to Kinzo rapimg his daughter.
A person being shown to be ruthless is not enough to confirm guilt.
You're an idiot. It's quite a leap to say that someone who can make plans for blackmail is also cool with murder.
>Erika's "other answer" was a pile of crap based off a stupid unsupported technicality in Bern's game?
Erika never gave 'another answer', she said another answer CAN be given.
That's Ryukishi basically telling you that if another answer can be given, it's obviously not the right one or else it would be entirely conclusive.
Also, the point I'm making is that goats are all in favor in the theory that Kyrie is the one who killed everyone.
What do you think that means?
Cuz Kinzo's a westaboo.
Not by a longshot. You don't know what foreshadowing even means.
It's as vain as saying that anyone can do anything because money.
I can make the claim that Kyrie was a nice loving person because I can see it with love.
Kyrie, in her final dying words, loved Battler.
A ruthless person wouldn't have given a fuck.
Also, a lot of people like to shit on ''without love it cannot be seen''.
Where's Kyrie's love you hypocrites?
Where are all of you proclaiming that Kyrie was a human and not a mindless psychopath who just killed everyone without a single fuck.
A person who never cared about her daughter and only cared about herself.
A person who didn't even care if her husband died.
Such a lack of love.
Simply to agree to the obvious truth and have a conclusive answer.
>It's as vain as saying that anyone can do anything because money.
Yes they would. Because the Ushiryomia adults were terrible people.
Krauss was an incompetent embezzler, Natsuhi murdered a woman and attempted to murder a child. Eva was a passive aggressive sarcastic backbiter. Hodeyoshi enabled Eva's behavior. Rudolf was just a sleazy piece pf crap who just went along with his wife. Kyrie was an obsessive sociopath from a Yakuza family.Rosa was The Worst Mother. Oh yeah and Kinzo was a murderer and rapist.
Where the fuck is Will and his bullshit Hart shit wit Kyrie?
You faggots love to preach about Shannon's heart or everyone else's heart.
But Kyrie? Fuck that.
Even more proof of Kyrie showing compassion.
Without love, only the worst traits are seen.
You are ignoring the heart.
The Ushiryomia family are dicks but they are still human.
To simply see them by their worst traits is inhumane and wrong.
I can understand Kyrie's frustrations with her relationship with Rudolf because really, the man's a slut.
"Having love" in Umineko means understanding their mindset and circumstances. It doesn't mean excusing their sins
What sins has Kyrie committed you assface?
You damn hypocrite seem to be cool with understanding the mindset of Shannon yet will push Kyrie under the bus because of 'foreshadowing' with her simply being the one to plan a blackmail.
Kyrie had no frustrations with Rudolf once Asumu died. That's a thing of the past.
I don't remember anyone else called Battler in anime or manga, so I guess Kinzo just wanted to have someone with a cool name which includes battle, I don't know. Better than Fighter, atleast.
>Even more proof of Kyrie showing compassion.
You do realize that if Kyrie not taking Ange to the conference is ""compassion" that means she knew that a murder was going down that day.
>What sins has Kyrie committed you assface?
Wellll she did murder at minimum Natsuhi, Gohda, and Jessica. That's just the ones we're directly shown on screem
>You do realize that if Kyrie not taking Ange to the conference is ""compassion" that means she knew that a murder was going down that day.
It's still better to leave her home to live rather than taking her to Rokkenjima, to get killed.
How can George be fat if he can jump around kicking Gaap like it's nothing?
>she knew a murder was going down that day
Are you stupid?
She didn't bring Ange because she was sick.
Goddamn fucking idiot.
It's the other way around you fucking idiot.
If I didn't give a fuck about my daughter and knew there would be a murder, I would have brought her to the island and gotten her potentially killed.
What fucking proof do you have that Kyrie even knew about anything.
Goddamn it, you fucking goat idiot.
Even in ep 7, shit happened at goddamn random. Kyrie started killing somewhat by accident, not because she knew there would be murder or because she premeditate it.
>Wellll she did murder at minimum Natsuhi, Gohda, and Jessica.
That's not a sin you fuckface.
I meant outside of ep 7 and before the events on Prime.
Clarification: Furudo Erika did exist as a living human being but the Furudo Erika we see on the island is not the same Furudo Erika but a conveniently created plot-instrument. She does not have the same personality or background or anything similar to that, she was just created on the base assumption that she may have ended up on the island. Which means the Furudo Erika we know does not exist. She is just a fake replica.
I can't believe there are still people who think Kyire didn't do it.
So is this furniture right here any good ?
Also outside of eliminating things what do they even do in the series ?
Let make break it down for you.
The only things that happened post-Prime is ep 6 with Ange meeting Ikuko and ep 3 with Eva dying and giving Ange the ring.
Along with the ????? ending with Ange meeting Tohya.
Everything else is simply story within the forgery or meta that did not happen.
They comfort Maria. Before one is destroyed by Rosa at least.
More then you did.
What happened on Rokkenjima is far less important then the circumstances that lead up to it, the emotions of all involved, and the reactions after the event.
They symbolize Maria's bunnies.
See pic related.
If Ange seeks the truh, she will simply be a pawn, a piece if you will, of the mystery fans who also want to find out the truth, much like what Erika is to Bernkastel.
This is why Ange sees a meta image of Erika in the Truth end.
I recently picked up the manga and finished EP1. It reminded me of the significant number of times George and co would bring up the idea of creating an alternate personality when talking about Maria. It all makes sense now - it was some juicy foreshadowing.
No, actually, you're wrong.
That's simply psychology.
People show different versions of themselves around others.
You don't act the same with your family as you do when you're with friends.
You don't act the same way at school the same way when you are alone.
Get some Jung up in that shit.
Reminder that Lambda is confirmed to be real during the Confessions chapter of the Manga.
So this depiction is accurate then ?
I at least expected 00 to be epic if the other 3 weren't.
The entire chapter is completely raw and bare of any embellishment and fantasy. Then, at the end, as Sayo is writing her stories Lambda shows up.
Obviously it means that "higher" beings like Lambda and Bern are real.
The potential of including Yasu foreshadowing was probably enough to make Ryukishi take some liberties with the science behind Maria's psychology.
Although Geroge's explanation for Maria's 'multiple-personalities' does not fit Maria, it certainly fits Yasu.
>They're rapist. Didn't you read Higanbana?
Are you serious ?
Bunnies are sadistic rapist who rape even within their own sex.
In Higanbana, some asshole smartass tries to be clever and apathetic and ends up beings raped by bunnies he killed for fun and some anger management.
Jesus, typing all this made me realize how fucking dark First Night really is.
Ep 8 already answered that.
This is like asking what happens if Fresh fought Featherine.
How can a single reader possibly be stronger than the writer?
Sure a bunch of readers could possibly toss featherine into obscurity by boycotting her, but a single reader has no power.
I thought those were a different kind of Bunny as the Chiester sisters are technically Furniture.
Other than Ryukishi working together with those 3 people and the manuscript being confirmed by one of their bosses, that's pretty much all we know.
and this site
Featherine would be 'destroyed' but not killed.
Much like how Goats ate the entire island, the characters remained.
Not to mention that Featherine can bullshit her way out of it, come back, saying that she was simply playing her part and let FRESH cut her in half.
Three worlds, an Alice in Wonderland, a Sci-fi settitng and XXXXXX will be united somehow as the next story from Ryukishi and friend writers.
They're stuffed bunnies from Maria.
We don't know shit yet, but I'm pretty hyped for this. Probably because of R07's art. I didn't care much for Rewrite and haven't read Cross Channel yet.
I was really crossing my fingers for WtC but ah well.
Still this project now sounds interesting.
Lucia's route was good but fell short because it lacked editing.
Good mystery, shit answer.
Cute date scene.
Somewhat confusing manipulation.
Good fight scene but its ending dragged on a bit.
And Kotaru was too dense. The ending could have been good with a LIVE FOR ME, LIVE FOR LOVE GODDAMN IT punch but it didn't have that impact somehow.
Cross Channel is apparently a very good VN but I personally refuse to read it because of shit translation.
Gotta wonder who's soul is in there.
I would make the air humid if you understand my innuendo.
Oups forgot pic.
Everything from Hanyuu being an alien, to flags in space to the meta/mesa idea pointed towards the Sci-fi story being the new WtC.
I was also thinking this. A collaboration with such big names confirms at the least that it will be bugger than RGD/Higanbana.
Personally I didn't necessarily want another WTC, I just wanted another large-scale 07th vn.
>this is better than nothing.
Trust me, last after the october 07 party, I was panicking.
Ryukishi said he wasn't making a new WtC.
He said he would 'branch out' meaning no WtC for years to come.
He said that there likely wouldn't be anymore October 07 parties.
And he said he would only do yearly work (possibly meaning he was taking a break).
But if he's making a joint project with competent writers, spends a whole year writing on something rather than only a half year, it means he has more time to make more stuff and polish it.
So, I'm honestly happy since April 1st.
Yeah, I'm getting the same feeling.
After the last October 07 party*
Well Higanbana was a collection of short stories and RGD took two years to make.
I wonder if Ryukishi is in charge of the overall story.
He's only been in charge of writing a route in Rewrite so it'll be interesting to see how he deals with well known VN writers.
Yes, yes. Give me your hope. Of course, there will be another great work. Keep believing, I'm sure it'll happen.
I still believe in him.
In the 2012 France conference, someone asked what was his next work.
The french guy started mispronouncing Rose Gun Days and you could see the light in Ryukishi's eyes as he immediately went to correct the guy and started talking about the influences of RGD (some famous movie I can't remember) and how he was passionate about it.
That glimmer of light is was convinces me he is still the writer I love since Higurashi.
That was at the early period of his writing career.
He's gotten better.
His good writting overshadows his bad.
I personally think his short Higurashi stories are worse than Ookamikakushi. I don't blame him because writing short stories are harder than writing overarching ones.
If there was one character in Umineko who didn:t deserve all that shit, it was Jessica.
Some people believe in God, so meh.
It's pretty fucking bad.
>hey, it's the guy who made the very popular and loved Higurashi, let's let him write our script for our game
Nice concept, shit story.
>what the fuck happened
>pettan pettan tsurupettan
>EVA is a bitch
>fuck off Maria and Ange, I want to see what's going on Rokkenjima
>I want to fuck Dlanor
>Please end as soon as possible
>I'm not sure what happened
>Please let me fuck your butthole R07
I agree with you, but let me fix some things based on my opinion
>I want to fuck Erika and what the fuck happened to Beatrice
>HOOOLYYY SHIITTTTTT SHE ACTUALLY PULLED IT OFF
>Well that is the most boring climax I've seen in my li- FUCK YEAH BERNKASTEL
zzzzzz ooh, some puzzles zzzzzzzzzzz
Nah, he was a faggot.
If Jessica wasn't associated to her rich family, boys wouldn't be afraid of being around her.
Ep 6 does too far into author truth, truth truth truth, pointless Beatrice figuring out who she is.
Erika saves the episode for me.
No, but I'm waiting for it to come out so that I can buy it.
I would just pirate it but I do want more of it so I'll be alright with playing for it.
George was a passive aggressive little shit who had no redeeming qualities in any damn way. His mother hooked him up with girls who would have likely just done whatever to be associated with the family but were all turned down.
Being with a faggot was a worse trade off than being with a richer family.
That's saying something.
Jessica fell in love with a servant boy because he was the only one who wasn't afraid to be around her.
George fell in love with Shannon because she was inexperienced, vulnerable and lacked a backbone. And even she had more of a damn spine than George.
Goddamn, that's, like, almost half a dollar saved, maybe more!
>Chick Beatrice shenanigans
Sure, if you see it as how the original 2nd Beatrice came to accept her role and Battler acting as how Kinzo saw his daughter.
>you're not acting like her goddamn it, act this way
>NOOOO, you're totally wrong, this isn't how Beatrice smiles, FUCK OFF
Did you even read EP3?
Kyrie fucking admits that there is nothing like "That's a thing of the past" cause she'll forever be tormented and forever live in envy making her insane.
I no longer have Umineko on my hardrive unfortunately.
I only capped pictures of George when his glasses shaded.
make him Game Master George, maybe that will help.
I've got to be honest I never found George to be the terrible person people often seem to make him out to be. I can see that people may interpret his personality as over-possessive, but I saw this as positive character development, as George finally mans up by 1986.
His love with Shannon is meant to be fairly naive, but I still find it ridiculous to say he's a 'little shit'.
I don't know the name, but there was one pretty shit BGM in EP7, even though EP7 has most of my favorites. If I recall correctly, there was a female opera singer or something like that.
There's one particular ost that's pretty shit.
It's like a wave choir of the meta or some shit.
It's very loud and atmospheric but it's shit if you listen to it alone.
I forgot the name of the ost though.
Naive is a very very kind description of him.
Well, the latter part pretty much summarizes the Black Witch.
Cannot see her without love for someone/by only looking at their bad points.
That's the very reason of why Ange saw Evatrice in EP4, after all.
All she saw was "Eva murdered her family" without realizing how much Eva herself suffers, understand her heart and to put it in Ange's words:
Her suffering/The Black Witch can only be seen and defeated within someone with Maria's magic of happiness/Treat her with love and not ignore the bad points but accept them and see the whole picture of her as a human rather than just focusing on the bad points.
>tfw you just realized that Umineko is set on the same year as San Francisco nuclear bombing
If you think about it, Krauss, while surely incompetent and sometimes overly strict towards Jessica, is not that much of a bad guy either.
He stayed with Natsuhi all the time, even when she didn't have a child for 12 years. Given her treatment in the family i don't think Kinzo would have mind much had Krauss simply divorced and married another woman. So while he doesn't show it that often, he obviously feels something for Natsuhi...
Literally just the latin form of Mary.
Kinzo has a knack for them.
Hence everyones names.
Then look at something like:
Kinzo, or perhaps just Ryukishi seems to have given some thought about this considering the meaning behind some names are rather interesting.
Like, what are the chances it's a coincidence that people have names referring to the likes of "Wolf", "Rose" or my favorite with Eva "Living One".
Especially when you have shit like, Kuwadorian Beatrice's fear of wolves and the Wolf and Sheep Puzzle along with Maria going on about the "Only sick rose in the garden" she is so insistant to take care of until it's better.
One day I wanna put this flag on my wall or maybe on my balcony.
>we'll never see Erika animated
He and Hideyoshi are probably the best dads in Umineko.
Granted, with Rudolf (who, while being a cheating coward and never telling Battler the truth about his mother, at least obviously loved his children after all), Kinzo and Marias dad as competitors, that doesn't mean much, but the two seem to be fairly nice guys.
I've never understood the logistics behind Battler's true mother being Kyrie.
So Battler comes out of Kyrie crying and screaming, Rudolf grabs him and runs off home until Asumu is due. She then has a stillbirth but Rudolf swaps the dead baby with Battler.
Is Kyrie retarded? Was Asumu in on it?
>there are people in this thread who actually want to see as adaptation of Chiru
Although I do admit it might be a beautiful trainwreck in its own way.
The baby likely died a bit after being born.
Doctors likely check to see if the child is alive.
Though, for some fucking reason, the doctor decided not to give Kyrie her newborn baby and decided to bring Battler to Rudolf to tell him that the baby was healthy.
It was probably done for dramatic effect in contrast with the dead actual Battler but it's still bullshit, as you've pointed out.
I just assume Kyrie and Asumu passed out from childbirth.
I wouldn't say no to more Umineko. Especially if Erika is included.
Tthe translation is ''Nothing Happened to This World''.
But yeah, listening to it again, yeah, that ost was pretty creepy.
It's as if time itself stopped and you don't know why. You are walking in school and everything stopped moving, frozen.
LB had a great track as well.
How the fuck did Krauss/Natsuhi deal with Yasu's personality shenanigans?
I imagine it was dealt with in a different way to what we see in each gameboard.
How did Jessica never find out?
For the millionth time, the servants worked irregularly at the Ushiromiya residence, Natsuhi and Krauss barely knew the names of servants, the handling of servants was left up to Genji. And as we all know, with Genji, Kumasawa and Nanjo on Yasu's side it might have been possible to cover things up.
As for Jessica? Well, that I wouldn't be able to tell you.
Ask and ye shall receive.
>you will never RP again as either Battler or Beatrice going 'problem battler?' without being called out on it
I'd suck your dick if I could (no homo)
Kinzo should have kept such a prize for himself rather than waste it on a worthess man such as Krauss.
And she sleeps with a different man as well.
I would fuck her until the sex gives her a migraine.
