Airing in 2 hours.
According to Japan you'll have to
get your tissues ready.
She is already better than most kuudere out there.
Yes, according to the people who went to the pre-screening.
CR/HS in a few hours and caffeine.
>call her "aira"
>official english name is "isla"
Of course robots can't drink tea.
Now that loli is pissing herself in the containment unit too.
I know I signed up for this shit but,
FUCKwe have how many more of this?
They really ran out of time, hopefully CR gets the preview for the next episode.
I can already see the ending.
> MC confesses his love to Aira
> Puts on the ring
> Containment unit closes
That would actually make sense since they could be catching every moment in HD and android brains don't work like human ones. However why not just buy something like an external databank?
The OST and the ED (I suppose?) were pretty good.
That could be a valid explanation. After a certain time limit the memory gets corrupted and the androids start to experience dementia and so on. It would be better to get them out of circulation before that happens.
Guys, do you know what I though while watching the first episode?
already passed her 9 yeras limit and is acting secretly, which is why her boss is so nervous about letting Aira go around outside since they want to hide it from the company to keep her alive
I think It's more about the philosophy of memories and life. I mean just imagine if those robots were us man. It would be so hard to say goodbye only after 10 years. It's even harder since the robots are in human form, they talk like we do, think like we, and even have emotions like we do.
one of the robots they went to recover got away, but she was shown wearing a pink nightgown. You know the ones like Shoe's mother wore in GC.The chat was fun when that happened.
Blade runner with cute girls confirmed.
Tears in rain when?
>Shitty movie with Will Smith in it.
Sasuga Lelouch, you illiterate piece of shit.
I started reaching for them thinking we were going to get a shower scene but then it went to despair.
do the dolls need to go the toilet? Did she really just possibly piss herself right after causing me much distress?
The animation this episode was really good too thinking about it. Sometimes the drawing was a bit off I felt but the animation was so good in parts.
I'm not ready for this ride.
Somebody hold me
You bitches are all a bunch of fucking faggots. I hope your fucking periods aren't too painful for you. I didn't cry even once, so fucking shove that up your weeping pussies.
Her jump reminded me of this and I couldn't stop laughing
Sipping loli android.
Kobeni confirmed for semen machine.
Them being cute makes it hurt more.
Don't worry, she looks happy.
>dude put his waifu's personality into a robot
When will we get our own giftias?
People want to be healed I guess.
It's better to save the sad shit till the last few episodes but at least it didn't kick in the melodrama from the first episode like Sora no method.
I was not ready.
I'm not sure if throwing in the comedy parts here and there is the correct choice but perhaps it was what made sad part even more sad in this episode.
I just hope they don't fuck it up, because it certainly has potential to be good. Fuck, even very good.
Giftias are lewd.
>mfw I will be like that obaa-chan in 40 years if we have android pseudohuman pets by then
Second best girl.
It's almost like a peaceful Blade Runner with cute anime grills and feels instead of action/violence. Overall, it was a pretty good first episode. I'm looking forward to watching this every week.
Has the potential to be AOTS. Don't fuck it up, Dogakobo.
>we'll see Nina again later in the anime
>she's completely different
But how does this stuff heal people? I literally don't understand the appeal of shows where the goal is to pull out all the stops to try to make people cry in the end. I understand it as a plot point, not so much as a goal line the way Japan tends to use it.
>after they wiped her memories they resold her to be some fat otaku's cumdumpster
Blade Runner x Hybrid Child [minus the gay]
There is no way this will end in a not depressing as fuck way.
>I know what you are thinking about, Tsukasa
I laughed at how stupid that line from the PV was in reality (instead of being a serious one), nice one Mages.
>no fucks given
So why do they need to retrieve them before the time limit is up? Do they go berserk or something?
Couldn't they just wait for the time limit to pass, androids to shutdown and pick up the body?
Or time limit is just made up? (betting on this one)
What's the twist? I can't really get into this with all those questions.
>WAAAH WHY DOESN'T THE SHOW EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN THE FIRST EPISODE
Are you retarded?
The idea is pretty simple, past the time limit they deteriorate rapidly. Most people wouldn't want to see their loved ones get alzheimers and pass away over the next 12 hours.
There's probably some other shit at play, but that's the in-universe justification. You probably sign a contract knowing that your new loli is only going to live 9 years.
I love this perspective, Dogakobo does it again
Would you let her take away your android loli for tea /a/?
It's the very first episode, anon. Are you legitimately that autistic? Do you seriously expect every question to ever be introduced in a story to be answered immediately? Even then, some answers can be inferred if you paid attention to the first episode at all, but I'm sure it'll spoon-feed you the answer later on since this is an anime.
Holy fuck what an episode, A nice mix of comedy and drama with a cute girl, I thought the show would be DOGSHIT with the opening of "I love oyu but I've never met you" or whatever it was I don't know why they needed to add that but god damn that first episode nearly had me in tears.
Very nicely done, Could easily be AOTS if done nicely.
Also I have a feeling the ending will be about Isla expiring and the MC arguing whether to send her to the coffin shop or not.
Because it's a company secret, sperglord. You don't go around telling everyone your super secret robots are actually made out of the crushed souls of babies, and if they live 10 years they realise it or some shit. These guys aren't even in the main building, they won't know more than the company propaganda.
>mfw my 1st gen i7 rig has been around for 7 years
I'm going to feel somewhat sad when I have to part with the mobo/CPU that has been with me through some of my most turbulent years.
Yes, I am.
Meh, I don't really like how they saved all the budget for that those farewell scenes while the rest looked kind of cheap overall.
I'm really not too hyped, the potential is all there but the comedy parts were kind of weak and they could ruin everything if they decide to go for cheap feels.
I have this feeling that it goes way deeper than what we already know. They'll surely adress this later on, it's an obvious question to ask.
In turn, I wonder what happens if you outright refuse to give the Giftia back. Owners are legally bound to return them because they signed the paper, right? This probably means that the terminal service is just the beginning and there's some sort of SWAT that raids the house if the owner breaks the agreement and refuses to hand dem android over.
I'm just speculating here, it'll surely be adressed later in the show.
i.e. they'll forget how to do their daily duties, maybe even how to talk and, of course, who they're living with.
So with that, they'll become a literal mindless robot that can barely function.
You might not be autistic, you could just be an idiot.
Because they are jews.
>>Upgrade to the new OS, it's only going to cost $xxxx.
B E S T G I R L
Alright somebody who knows a lot about data management might be able to tell me this, because I have no idea. I am aware that data deteriorates over time, but if you copy that data and move it, does that copy the data in its state of decay? Or does it renew the condition of the data on new memory?
Forgive my complete and utter retardation on thr subject, but I never really gave this any thought. Because you would think it would be as simple as downloading the mind of the Giftia and putting it in a new body. Or if it is the data decaying, you could copy it and put it in a new hard drive.
I think we need to talk about how much of a smug asshole the shota is.
Will weather the tears for more lolis.
>I am aware that data deteriorates over time, but if you copy that data and move it, does that copy the data in its state of decay? Or does it renew the condition of the data on new memory?
Are you retarded?
If you copy something that's corrupted, it stays corrupted.
These magic robots are unlikely to be operating on anything as simplistic as 1s and 0s. At minimum, we're looking at organic computing.
If we buy the current in-universe explanation, the most obvious form of "decay" would be better thought of as overgrowth of the cyberbrain. Perhaps they have a hard limit of space, or no ability to lose connections, that leads to the brain becoming too complex to maintain consciousness.
Wow, what a fantastic first episode.
Isla is cute as hell. Best girl by miles.
I shed a lot of bitch tears though
That comedic relief at the end was good as well. Made me laugh.
>share many similarities (male characters, female characters, the use of "Plastic" in the title, wheeled vehicles, etc cetera)
Nah, it's 100% real.
She uses that line when she feels cornered.
Though she may already be fucked.
Still no skindentation. Will Dogakobo ever learn?
That's pretty obvious, dude. The only question is whether it's a hardcoded killswitch or totally fake to cover up something that happens when the androids live longer, and it's probably the latter given they have a team to wipe them out. They've probably all got GPS trackers.
It's gonna be a tough ride this season.
Where is the webm?
Why is this banana head so silly though?
So... Why did they think ruining all the sad feeling at the end of the episode with the piss-gag was a good idea? It wasn't even that sad but still, that's just poor fucking form.
Just after a sad bye bye last season they already hit me in the face with another.
Is it their body or their memory that gets corrupted after nine years? And if it's the body, why can't they just store the memories somewhere else. They could even charge fees for that shit. It's a win win.
But she's not an unlikeable turbocunt like Asuka is.
I was planning to watch this but I'm really not good with sad stories.
I just hope there is some overreaching plot, conflict and intrigue and not just sad episodic SoL.
Something like virus, cyber terrorists, MC uncovering they are terminating the healthy androids for profits of corporation.
He said one that would look the same. It could be that the storage medium the android uses breaks, so a new one could be inserted into the empty body, similar to putting a new person into a mech
>Serara dies in the first episode
Are you an idiot? They explain it clearly that their memories and personalities get fucked. That's why grandma was so pissed off when Tsukasa mentioned they could just replace Nina's memories and act as if she were as good as new.
Or you just don't buy thighhighs that are too big for you and let your thighs hold them up like you're supposed to.
If this is the case then it is totally unrealistic.
They seem like some sort of program so that the company can be like "look we have a humane recovery program so that your android doesnt just lose its shit and make you suffer"
If it was really that important to make sure they were returned before the time there would be some serious people not a washed out manager and some teenagers.
I know Mahoromantic is inapropriate comparison - but the premise was pretty much the same: Maido shutting down.
And it included everything imaginable from battles, sol, third world war, harem antics and drama.
The elastic needs to be cutting off your circulation in order to properly hold them on. Unless you don't happen to walk, run, sit down and get up as you wear them. Then you can get off with the elastic bands.
Samefag here, I believe that the thing about breaking is more or less a white lie. I think the issue is that if they continue to live more than 10 years they start thinking by their own and modifying what was already set in their system, hence calling it a break.
What do you guys think?
This bye bye was really sad, no doubts about that.
But while GasMask was a qt, her show turned into a boring piece of shit halfway through. I couldn't give a damn about what happened to any of the characters.
Unless, of course, you're talking about a different show.
They're the face of it. The guys who go in to ask them to give up the androids willingly. When they go over time is when they send in fucking SWAT, the Asuka clone implies as much.
Whats the problem of making back ups of the concious and memories? It seems the neural net technologies are common there - there should not be technical difficulcies preventing it entirely.
Even if its exact physical brain with artificial synapses, replicating it should be possible since they are able to create and program them in first place.
If it's just the storage medium breaking down, they could always up the price and do nightly backups onto a fresh disk.
In my opinion, the only logical explanation is that at 81920 hours the AI loses its ability to make decisions in real time, because the accumulated life experiences in 9 years and four months become too much for the processor to process at that speed.
