Is this the biggest asspull in any Anime ever?
At this point /a/ would say "Goku turning Super Saiyan was such an asspull, wasn't foreshadowed at all before that, such shit.
Just seems like a lot of faffing about and complaining about nothing most of the time.
Confirmed for not reading the story and just sort of going by offhand info while confusing two pieces of info on the statement.
Shirou didn't make the sword appear because "miracle", rather that's entirely how his magic works. He recreates any sword he's seen before, Archer is really Shirou after becoming a hero in one time-line with this ability. It's called a reality marble, there's nothing miraculous about it even if it is exceptionally rare.
You're confusing the statement "Caliburn was able to take all of Berserkers lives because it was such a miracle that sword and owner were reunited across time" because it was stated that Caliburn normally should not have been able to do that since it's maybe A rank at best. As it should not be stronger than Excalibur.
There is nothing miracle about Shirou making a sword in this series, that's literally the only thing he can do.
The only miracle people complain about there is how Berserker died from it.
I'm so glad i'm not the only one.
So many people ignore the fact that they changed him from an innocent boy child fuck to a man just to kill someone.
If not for their reluctance for the character to be seen in any other way than innocent/ the cell they introduced the show would have been great.
>or the Kaleidoscope gem sword (infinite magical energy wtf) from HF.
Saying this is an asspull is one of the dumbest things I've heard today. Zelretch isn't even from this story, the 2nd sorcery and how it works was established in this universe long before that point.
The sword isn't infinitely magical, it's pulling energy from all nearby dimensions one at a time, and shooting it off. There are infinitely alternate universes, infinite world-lines, and the 2nd sorcery is able to tap into them and for a moment break the boundaries between worlds.
The sword in itself is nothing special, it doesn't have infinite mana, it just bridges the gap between world-lines and allows mana to be pulled from elsewhere. The fact that Zelretch is one of the ones that helped start this ritual and how he left Tohsaka Nagato a few relics has been known since the start, it wasn't some out of nowhere thing if you were reading.
Not that guy but I think the Deen adaptation of FS/N is a pretty accurate adaptation of the Saber VN and some parts of UBW. I don't see what's there to be elitist about. The guy who you replied to is an idiot who would not have understood it even if he read the VN and needs /a/ to explain everything.
You're quite wrong there. It was his covenant and will to achieve something (which is the transformation) in order to kill his enemy, while having the consequence that he would deteriorate and be unable to use Nen again. It works the same as Kurapika's contract, but just more improved. As you can see, he was really crippled after that arc happened.
Alluka, which was a deus ex machina, was the one who healed him. Now, this is what you call an asspull.
Excuses, this is why it's an asspull.
Anyone who watched the show for the cute innocent boy aspect would keep watching because the man monster that killed best girl wasn't their Gon.
How can you not fkn get this.
Keep dreaming anon, ignorance is bliss.
No, i just dislike HxH' cell dying like a Bitch after all that sweet buildup and the MC bitch having a tantrum instead of just fighting the moment he entered the fkn room.
The show died at that very moment.
Meruem is his name
>MC bitch having a tantrum
he was enraged because it wasn't fair for Kite to die while having Pitou to heal Komugi
>the show died at that very moment
it was one of the most critically acclaimed arc in the series
watch it again, anon.
>It works the same as Kurapika's contract
It works nothing like Kurapika's contract otherwise Kurapika should be dead since his covenant is his life. The fact that it's so different compared to Kurapika's contract, how small a role contracts had in the series given the length it's run in real time, how poor the build up to the transformation is, and all the characters reactions to it at the time contribute to why people view it as an asspull.
I had fun reading this thread. There's clearly one idiot here.
Yes, because Gon's self-destructive nature hasn't been built up since the beginning, we didn't know about how much importance Gon places in his friends since the beginning, and before the invasion Gon wasn't shown to be losing himself nor did he tell Morel that he'd punish himself when he couldn't forgive himself.
>The sword in itself is nothing special, it doesn't have infinite mana, it just bridges the gap between world-lines and allows mana to be pulled from elsewhere.
yeah like miu's world right?
Will this make you faggots shut up? Or will it merely fuel your shitposting?
