How many times will anime producers greenlight yuri series only to watch them flop, before they realize that yuri is a terrible genre?
Yuri is the only genre in which nearly every show fails but every year they keep making them.
There is like an average of one yuri anime per year and it usually sells okayish, the undertone shows don't really count as yuri - even though it's a welcome addition for those who like it.
>And you need to fuck off back to /u/
>implying I'm a yurifag
Seriously fuck off. You make these threads every fucking day and even bitch about 'muh /u/ cancer' in threads that don't even have any yuri. You're a blight on /a/.
Yuri is a sub-genre. And to answer OPs question the sub-genre yuri usually falls under the popular genre SoL which is guaranteed to make money even if it fails. Like harems usually fall under the popular romcom genre.

There are very few SoL yuri shows, what are you talking about?
Except when it comes to anime you're not fucking shit, you're just an spectator watching some random faggot fuck your waifu, so unless you're a cuck, you're better off watching other girl do it.
>not wanting to be the little girl and fuck other little girls
I still don't even understand what it is you do when you self-insert. I mean, do you really imagine yourself in place of the character? There's something really uneasy and sinister feeling about that. Not to mention the sort of person who feels the need to awkwardly shoehorn themselves into everything must be suffering from some sort of personality disorder.
I figure if we're just going to do this whole song and dance about yuri again then I might as well dump some yuri manga. At the very least it can't make the thread and worse than it already is.
I always see yuri threads go on for quite a bit anyways.
I also just like dumping manga. Any excuse works really.
