Chapter 261.5 aka The Unauthorized Biography of Rudeus Greyrat is translated. Unedited, unTLCed, and obviously spoilers for the untranslated chapters so far. Read at your own peril.
Otherwise, chapter 245 is now translated at Kaezar's blog.
>In case of magic it's Silent Seven Star.
>In case of Education, It's Roxy M Grayrat.
>In case of arts, it's Zanoba Silon.
>That name, each of them already come out first before Rudeus Grayrat .
>For that, there is opinions that 「He is Ass-Kissing The Famous Person to get a share of their fame」 and 「He come to talented person and swindled them to get their fame」.
Toppest of keks
>When did this ended?
A number of days ago
>is there any summary avaliable?
Check the thread archives.
Rudy passes away of old age at 74, everything is up to Nanahoshi's buddies and Rudy's kids/grandkids to defeat Hitogami
On the contrary, I am the retard who misses the Rudi from back then when he was cool. Like when he was rescuing Roxy and his Mother or his time at the magic university, got really tired of his incompetence in the last arcs.
He'd need Ostred's help to reach Hitogami and he never met him again.
He was tired.
He wanted to do a last FUCK YOU to Hitogami.
He wanted to see his waifus again, and take comfort in the fact that in some timeline him and his family were alive and happy.
>His religion, it's said that he have a faith to an unidentified evil god.
>However, regarding the existance of the god that compliment with the crest of his religion, maybe that god already perished in ancient time, or maybe it's just a god created by Rudeus himself.
>There is a theory that he isn't a believer, and there's a theory that his faith is The Dragon God himself.
so what was the general consenus of this guy as hidden villain
In the last arcs he was acting under orders from Orsted, his goals were less personal and had a broader scope. He can't achieve his goals just by zapping them with lightning anymore, plus his opponent is a guy who can see the future and turn anybody into his puppet.
>He fucked up royallly
How? He saved Roxy and his mother. Besides, if anything, that was one of the arcs where he actually used his fucking brain instead of rockbulleting his way out of problems.
Hitogami himself said that no matter how much he tries to interfere he can't see a future where Rudy doesn't meet Roxy and cause the conception of Lara aka the messiah as prophesied by holy beast-sama.
>>Believing Hitogami's lies.
Author regularly answers questions, some guy asked on what would have happened if Rudy never tried to save his mom and the summary was:
-Paul attempts the dungeon several more times and then dies.
-50+ years pass before some party succeeds in getting through and releasing Zenis.
>Year of 426, in the outskirt forest of Sharia, together with Ellis Grayrat, he challanged Dragon God Orsted in a battle.
>At the end of the battle that made a forest VANISHED, he defeated.
>And become Orsted subordinate.
>The reason for that battle is unknown, there is a theory that Rudeus protecting Ariel Anemoi Asura from Dragon God Orsted who is trying to harm her.
Why didn't they just ask Roxy or Sylphy or Elianeize?
>In Asura Kingdom party, when a noble ridiculing Rudeus wife, Rudeus dragging out that person from the party, and demand an apology from him while burning one forest to smithern in front of that person
this sounds cool, i would love to read it
You raise a good point. Either they think it's nothing important so that they don't need to find clarification for it, or they disappear during that time for some unknown reason.
Reminder that Hitogami can do whatever fuck he wants now with Rudy's gone.
That's around 50 years in the future of MT's end, isn't it?
Since the author is apparently going to write a story in the future of Nanahoshi's boyfriend, it's probably going to be a character in that story.
Did the author say that the sidestories he'll write only concentrate on Rudy's home life, or everyday life in general?
>Since the author is apparently going to write a story in the future of Nanahoshi's boyfriend, it's probably going to be a character in that story.
Bloody Count is the one who wrote "Walking the World", one of the books Paul and Zenith had in their house which the story has frequently been using excerpts from to introduce new places.
What I imagine with the scene of Rudi patting Hitagami on the shoulder and cape/rope swaying majestic in the none existence wind walking away like a boss
Anyone have a image of Rudi's seven power symbol?
Seriously how handicapped are humans in fantasy world.
He's beloved by everyone and can't make it past regular life expectancy. In a world in which there are literally immortal beings you'd think they could share little of the sikrits they've harbored thorought the years.
>Reminder that Hitogami can do whatever fuck he wants now with Rudy's gone
The Dragon Kings are immortal because they reincarnate into other people (and end up supplanting their souls) and others are just naturally long lived/immortal. Atofe can apparently turn people immortal, though, but she only does it to people who she enslaves/turns into her knights.
He's one of Nanahoshi's pals who Rudy attempted to save from the truck. In a previous timeline around the time of Laplace's revival he was summoned to be the yuusha who fights and defeats Maoh Laplace. You know, the usual "highschooler is summoned to be the savior" fantasy story. Sadly he fails and dies.
So anyway his loli heroine (a miko who is in a timeloop like Orsted but unlike Orsted is kind of useless and normally can only reset time back by a day) used her time powers to change history so Rudy and Nanahoshi were also summoned into the past. This has massive butterfly effects, creating conditions under which Akito might win this time. (Just compare the current history to the one Orsted says was supposed to happen, and consider everything Rudy did that wouldn't have happened without him. Notably, Hitogami now sees a future where Rudy's descendents fight alongside Orsted to defeat him, and Lara Greyrat who is now supposed to be the savior of the world didn't exist in the previous time line.)
Why would she want to avenge him, though? He lost, simple as that. She made it clear, during her training, that she didn't work to get a title, but to get the power she needed to help Rudy.
>Lara Greyrat who is now supposed to be the savior of the world didn't exist in the previous time line.)
Orsted mentioned that Sacred Beast's companion in the other timeline was a man.
I still don't understand why people believe his lies, obviously his aim was to make Rudy believe that not listening to him causes bad things to happen.
She didn't succeed, and speculates its because she's needed in the future so she has one of Perugius's familiars Time Stop her body which she wakes up from monthly to check on the situation.
I remember Eris said that she needs to be prepared in case her friends want to avenge their father after the late sword god got killed by her.
So probably they didn't get to fight or they did fight but not killing each other.
In a way Akito kind of succeed. It's because of his death that the Miko changed the past where everything turns out alright.
I don't think it's a lie; just a possible future.
If Rudy hadn't chosen to leave for the continent, Hitogami may have ordered Gisu to do something. That or it was just a matter of chance, and a future where Roxy gets saved and one where she doesn't could have happened. In case where the latter happened, Hitogami may have been find with sacrificing his image of reliability since he'd have achieved his goal of separating Rudy from Roxy anyway.
It was Gisu who made her trip
He wanted to kill Silphy too but he could not predict the transfer. He tried to gain time by sending around an hundred of bandits after him in the desert (you don't really think 100 bandits would ho after a few people , they would probably send just 20 after them and have the rest go after others) but it failed. Thanks to Rudeus book and powers they even managed to save Roxy.
He did order him to do that, didn't he? But yeah, like the other anon said, he used the incident to boost up his credibility by making Rudy think that it'd be bad not to listen to him. Conversely, if Rudy, by chance, actually listened to him, he'd still be able to raise his credibility, couldn't he?
wow! Your somewhat new. Its just a thing that is accepts here. The white figure on the left is the truth from fullmetal alchemist which everyone automaticly accepts as hitagami cause no character or being in anime fiction really fits that image like the truth. A being that is hinted to know about everything including characters goals that trolls/directs characters in different fates.
God that made my day its almost that same feeling you get when you show dragonball Z abridged to some adult that doesn't know anime and thinks its the actual episode
>The No such do that eventually me red pearl?
>→ red ball that came out to the sixteenth episode "princess is years old" wonder if that mean was cleft of space-time?
>Sixteen episodes in Saurosu is I think you have to say that I found from before about three years
>Nanahoshi summons, transition incident at the time in 417 years Rudy years old
>Roxy that it's three years ago, wonder if good interpretation cleft and the influence on the Sylphy are given dimension was growing gradually it is red ball enough to look in the eyes?
>...... And, it is to say!
>In what after all is the Red Pearl?
>→ Red Pearl came out in the episode 16 daughter is ten-year-old said tearing eyes of spacetime is that like?
>Said Sauron found since three years ago in 16 story?
>Nana Joshi summons a transition event in 417, at Rudy's ten-year-old
>Good in interpretation was a Pearl grew up as visible from three years ago and is giving effect to Roxy, Bluebird sylphy dimensional rift, it is red?
>…… It is said that!
>In what after all is the Red Pearl?
>→ Red Pearl came out in the episode 16 daughter is ten-year-old said tearing eyes of spacetime is that like?
>I'll say in 16 story Sauron found three years ago Nana Joshi of interpretation was a Pearl to grow as dimensional rift is visible from the subpoena and transfer case 417 years Rudy was a 10-year-old three years ago with Roxy, Bluebird sylphy is given effect, it is red? -
>…… It is said that! (English)
Is it only me who thought the concept of Roxyism was way too randumb even for irony let alone played straight?
Damn poor proofreaders and editors being shit on for slow pace.
Wow never mind we need proof readers and editors a lot as just translating word to english makes !@#$% no sense
Some fatass who never leaves his room overcame all his fear when a magical demon loli took him outside and showed him the world.
Basically the author turned admiration into overboard worship x10 for comedic value.
It was silly but fun.
From what I get the ball is basically space-time crack who grew over time because of Rudy's influence to Roxy and Slyphy. It's also seem like it's one of the reader's interpretation and the author agreed with him.
Well he became aware that she wasn't actually a potato which helped.
Don't forget his daughter can communicate with her and probably could pass along her messages to the rest of the family as long as she was around.
MC credits her as the one who managed to get him out of the house. Given his NEETness and his encounter with the Dreaded Japanese Truck, I can understand why that's a big deal for him.
>Don't forget his daughter can communicate with her and probably could pass along her messages to the rest of the family as long as she was around.
That's a little redundant, given how Zenith could read minds.
probably not considering as time went on Rudi truly became immersed in his new life and only refers back to previous life when encountering something new or familiar. Hope full those 10 some chapters will answer certain things.
>Q. Just what was that Red Ball in the end?
>==>Is it because of the tear in space-time that the Red Ball appeared in Ch. 16 [Young Lady Is 10 Years Old]?
>It was written in the Ch. that Sauros first found out about it 3 years ago.
>At the time of Nanahoshi's summoning, when the teleport incident happened on Year 417, when Rudi was already 10 years old.
>Because of the influence on Roxy and Sylphy for those 3 years, the tear in space-time kept growing to the point where it was visible as a Red ball, would it be fine to interpret it as such?
>A...........And, that's how it is.
Also I'm not going to translate Vol 24 seeing as other people will be translating it(of course with machine translation but not edited).
I will finish Vol 23 tho, but not it's last chapter because there's this one guy who just wants to translate the last chapter for himself.
>seeing as other people will be translating it
Who? Blog linked in OP has "Though it's not TLing MT" on the top right, and he literally said in the post that he will only do two chapters.
>of course with machine translation but not edited
Machine translation, or machine-aided translation? There's a big difference between the two.
>but not edited
who the hell would be satisfied with UNEDITED machine translation?
He's going to do Afterlife as well and the guy whose going to do Vol 23's last chapter will be doing the epilogue, maybe if someone doesn't pick up the remaining chapters then I'll do it.
And to think I had an amazing surprise planned out for you guys, it's a pity. It's because of these guys that fun and suspense is not allowed anymore. This ruins the whole experience.
Aided, I guess. Still, my team is far better, we now have three translators working(including me) and the next release would be 3 chapters(possibly 4 if the proofreader doesn't die out).
What's the surprise, you were going to randomly do the biography?
>He's going to do Afterlife as well and the guy whose going to do Vol 23's last chapter will be doing the epilogue
why is nobody interested in chapters 260 and 261?
It's a surprise, well not that great I guess.
I was going to
put out the entire volume in a bulk just like the author did with a cool countdown timer, yeah I know it's childish but still.
Nah m8 it would have been a great giggle.
Looking at the actual translation of 261.5 I have fears for the readability of the other chapter he's doing, it's not just the accuracy but even the English used sucks.
Considering the last time I was reading, Rudy had just allied with Orsted, how are the translations from there on? All this talk of readability has me worried for when I actually start reading again.
Also, is there any version out there of the earlier chapters with up to date names/terms these days, or is Baka Tsuki still the only real place for those?
Yeah I'm talentless and my file names suck , hope you guys still might enjoy this
So I've been avoiding threads trying to avoid spoilers. I was just checking BT and it says the final vol is out. Is the story completely finished now? I sadly got spoiled about
Rudy dieing though I figured he would at the end of the storyWhile still trying to avoid spoilers Does the story actually end? Is everything wrapped up and finished plot wise? Does he plan on continuing the story with the children or is it just over? From the end of 22 (was waiting on all of 23 to be translated) it doesn't seem like there was an end in sight at all. There seemed to be a ton of stuff for the story to continue. I haven't even read it and I'm already sad to see it ended.
Rudy's story is over, but there's enough stuff left over that Lara and Nanahoshi have something to do in the future.
So wait the people who are translating the last chapter of 23 and some chapters of 24 are they on your team or just random people from animesuki?
I know there's a bunch of content left. there had to have been. I just wonder if the author announced continuing the story. If he just does some stupid epilog summary along the lines of "this happened" I'd be pissed. Sucks that Rudy's story is done though. You really grow attached to the guy after 24 volumes.Who knows. Maybe if the story continues he'll reincarnate again as some kind of asspull. He really deserved to be the one to kill hitogami.
>he was summoned to be the yuusha who fights and defeats Maoh Laplace. You know, the usual "highschooler is summoned to be the savior" fantasy story.
What exactly were they expecting from him, I mean Nanahoshi had zero magic power and would have died just from a rejection reaction to being in the presence of ambient magic.
Even if he did nothing he's stuck in infinite loop in which everyone hates him aslong hitogami is alive
On another note I wish there's somesort afterlife or reincarnation hinted for Rudy, the author truly cunt punched Roxy and Sylphy.
Rudy was an unforeseen consequence; no one expected him to reincarnate and the miko was simply extremely luck he was a result of her actions.
Apparently to him and Osrted, only one. It seems any other time power is better than Orsted's since Orsted doesn't know the guy even exists. Miko, however, has done enough so that her future rewind ability is nearly gone.
They were summoned with different methods, so it could be possible his case is different.
He was also described as a man instead of a boy or whatever in dream, so that implies he at least ages unlike Nanahoshi.
Killing someone before they do something they 'might' do does not count as self-defense. And Rudy, Roxy, and Sylphy themselves literally never did anything directly to Hitogami. Rudy was prepping for Laplace, Roxy was just teaching things, and Sylphy was doing literally nothing about anything.
>On another note I wish there's somesort afterlife or reincarnation hinted for Rudy
Author left himself a get out of jail free card if he wants to use Rudy again. Hitogami states that ordinarily souls disintegrate into mana and return to Akasha (or wherever mana goes) but this may or may not apply to an extradimensional soul like Rudy's.
>in class, checking /a/ on my ipad like usual
>saw a thread about MT ended
>tfw reading throught the summary about Rudi death
>tfw remember the first time i read MT for 24hours non-stop
>cried like a bitch in class, the professor and others looking at me pitifully
>tfw noone understand what you have been experience
dude I know your pain I was at a anime convention with friends and I was just slient for a bit when I heard of the ending and apparently a bit of a downer
(I'll been recommending mushoku tensei to friends unsuccessfuly)
Imagine if HG was telling the truth and killing him actually did end the world. Then it would either be a choice between the world repeating the same 200 years endlessly or the world falling to pieces. Nobody wins.
It wasn't a question of what they might do, their fate of causing Hitogami's downfall is so strong that he could only interfere when they were with child and became vulnerable.

So how did some web novel (which for the west is even more niche than a light novel or a visual novel) come to the attention of /a/? I believe it exploded around the summer of last year?
>What LN chapter is the manga at right now?
Partway into volume 2 I think.
So tell me how would you Englishize the fact that 人の神 introduces himself as 人神 which is spelled as ヒトガミ by his puppets? Do his puppets call him Human G_d instead of Human God?
Mangafox. Mangareader. Mangapanda. Mangaeden. Kissmanga. Batoto.
Shit man I dunno there's a billion places to get manga from, take your pick
If you have trouble reading off a computer screen you can use their Bakareader EX app if you have an Android device, or there's some guy on Reddit called flyingjam who made EPUBs that you can use with an e-reader or an e-reader app.
By following the naming convention of literally every other powerful fuck and calling him Human God? The other term for him can just be Deified Man or something like that. Can also just swap them around for whichever you want to be publicly known.
You do realize his name is pronounced as ヒトガミ or ジンシン, right? They sound completely different, so that's all you need to maintain.
>You do realize his name is pronounced as ヒトガミ or ジンシン, right?
Yes, what I'm trying to say is that the fact that only people who spoke to him heard him pronounce 人神 as ヒトガミ whereas anyone who hasn't spoken to him pronounces it as ジンシ doesn't really work in English, unless the apostles pronounced it as "Hummin Goad" or some shit.
How about not wasting your time taking your mom on what was expected to be a 5 year trip to visit people nobody in the family actually liked in the first place. That whole arc was retarded.
>Manga is on chapter 9
>this coincides with novel chapter 14 out of 261+unnumbered chapters
>it's a monthly manga
I can't see the ending
So it only became popular when Turning Point 4 was translated and suddenly the handful of people who were already reading it started singing its praises?
I believe that the reason the author wrote out his name as HMGD as a reference to Yahweh.
Theres several references to christianity in this world, which means the author is vaguly familiar with it.
In this manner we can assume that hitogami is kind of like the hebrew god, and his name follows the same rules and conversions.
In the jewish tradition, it's taboo allowed to write out the name of god. In english, this ends up being written as G_D when referencing the concept of god, and when you have to directly reference god's name, yahweh, it gets turned into YHWH.
In this manner, the average followers of the faith typically dont know the actual name of god, but the direct priests and apostles do.
>the author wrote out his name as HMGD
No he didn't, he writes his name 人神. I was just being facetious (using YHWH as a basis) when I wrote >>123731060. Unless he actually did and I'm actually some kind of psychic.
Majestic double for my brother of another mother.
Eris DOES strike me as the type of girl to drive a truck, so that's not too unrealistic
>Norn Grayrat, 『Autobiography of an Ordinary Person Surrounded By Geniuses』
So I was right when I tought tha author won't be able to thinking smarter enemies instead of powerlevels and he will finissh the series.
>Laplace had green hair
>Sperdo race were hated for their green hair because Laplace spread his curse to them
>Rudi is working to break the curse down at Hitogami's suggestion
Is Hitogami just trying to make things easier for Laplace thus making things harder for Orsted, and Rudi is falling for it like a sucker?
>Cliff senpai is a genius
>Zenoba is a genius too, he make robot waifus real
>Eris is a Sword king on a sword emperor - sword god level
>Sylphy and Roxy are both great magician that invent a new magic teaching system
You know what Rudeus forgot to invent while he was alive? Fucking printing. If books can be printed instead of painstakingly handwritten then it would be astronomically easier to disseminate information and literacy among the population.
Orsted, Cliff, Zanoba, Nanahoshi, Sylph, Roxy, Peurgius, Ruijerd, her nephews incl. Blue Jesus, Ariel, Miko...
Hell, basically everyone who has a slight relation with her brother is at least a walking god.
>・Fourth Daughter : Christina Grayrat
Who wants to bet he calls her Kurisu in everyday conversation?
