>[HorribleSubs] Fate Stay Night - Unlimited Blade Works - 14 [720p].mkv
Reminder there is nothing wrong with watching the anime and reading the wiki
There is no reason to play 60 hours of nasutext to learn a minor detail.
This is akin to telling someone to read 2000 pages to find one paragraph, instead of using wikipedia
well for once this episode had some really interesting scenes not in the original or merely alluded to
like more info on Caster's original master and seeing Sella and Liz die horribly
WILL WE SEE THE WHITE FOREST IN THE NEXT EPISODE!? UFO THAT IS THE ONLY SCENE YOU HAVE TO GET RIGHT FOR ME!
Reminder you're a fucking casual and someone who even skimmed the VN is going to know more than you ever will. I bet you watched the Lord of the Rings movies left it at that.
And wait a second, 60 hours? How slow do you fucking read? Seriously, kill yourself spurglord.
>to read less than 2500 quarter pages of text.
That that's the entire VN. all 3 routes.
It should take a normal person who isn't a complete tard less than 10 hours to complete on route, even if you hit every dead end.
I'd mock you more but as it is this message is going to take you 20 minutes to read. Maybe you should have finished elementary school, idiot.
>I'd mock you more but as it is this message is going to take you 20 minutes to read.
>implying he'll even get that far
You should've made a TL;DR version of your post
The quality of a fate release is inversely proportional to how closely Nasu is related to it.
Reminder not to be deceived by sunk cost VNfag primaries.
They made the decision long ago to gorge themselves on an inferior medium, knowing full well that a superior, high budget, high quality better medium version was in the works.
They traded quality for early access to content. And misery loves company, they will stop at nothing to trick newfriends into making the same mistake they did.
You should do the following, at the bare minimum
1. Watch Fate/Zero
2. Watch UBW (UFOTABLE)
3. Decide to wait out for the end of UBW, or if you really must and cannot contain your autism to win nerdbattles on /a/, you can play the VN
4. Ditto for the last, worst, wormroutes like HF.
There is zero reason to choose an objectively inferior, decade old eroge VN over a far superior, better artstyle, animated, version of it.
Additionally the other fate releases spoil Fate/Zero -- the best standalone release of the entire fate series. It is idioitic to complain about how it ruins a subpar route like HF, when reading HF/FSN spoils Fate/Zero.
Fate/Zero is one of the greatest selling anime of all time for good reason. And /a/ will never stop being butthurt over it.
Additionally, people really overestimate how bad "spoilers" are. It's not like "It's his sled" level spoiler, it's just "ugh, ok that's what they decided to do"
You're supposed to enjoy the journey, not the destination, in Fate. And the (ufotable) anime is a luxurious limo ride on the main road. The VN is a model T that can travel on the side roads as well.
Take the nice trip and then circle back onto the dirt path if you really want to.
I'm so goddamn tired of these debates.
Enjoy Fate however you want, it's your time being invested in it. I don't give a fuck whatever anyone else does.
I'd very much like to discuss the actual content in these threads instead of reading people bitch about how other people experience it.
Anyway, I got a real pang in my heart when Gilgamesh was most assuredly remembering his time with Enkidu during his talk with a dying Sella. Thank you, based ufotable and whomever else was responsible for that touch.
She had done well.
Her Master was a legitimate magus.
He was in his thirties, had a medium build, and had few noteworthy characteristics.
He had no will to fight, but dreamed of victory. He was a man that only waited for the other Masters to kill each other.
The man had not trusted Caster.
He treated Caster coldly as she was a superior magus, and he insulted her for being inferior to other Servants.
She gave up on him after a few days.
She acted as an obedient Servant and filled the man's conceit.
In short, she made him use his Command Spells for meaningless things.
She told him he did not need the Command Spells.
She made him believe that she would be faithful to her Master even without the Command Spell.
It was his fault for believing in her.
The Master used his third Command Spell for a meaningless thing, and was killed by Caster at that moment.
It was easy.
She did not like the fact that the contract with him still existed, so she killed him using the Rule Breaker.
Everytime i see Rin and Archer in this anime i just have this increasing urge of see them both fucking. I dont know why. It never happened to me before.
Who was that servant who had the ability to summon a dragon except he couldnt activate it because he lacked the ability to summon dragons?
Something like that. It was retarded.
They completely cut off Medea's story in antiquity.
This adaptation should be watched by people who've read the VN.
This. Voices should be only in scenes you really care about. VN was released without voices.
That's not true. Those effects are around less than 10% of the VN.
Liked the episode, though it felt like nothing really happened. I could do with out these nurses being characters that take up significant portions of screen time.
So if Kotomine has a contract that allows him to caster... is that significant some how? Contracts were important in F/Z so I guess there could be some magical oath stuff going on.
I agree with you
The fate/fanbase is one of the few fanbase that has people writing essays about Saber being over-sexualized or some shit like that. They don't even let other people speak on their thoughs on a episode.
I'm a member of CR Forums, I know how this debate shit goes down in there.
I just let people do whatever they want and, I don't get involved in arguments.
>The fate/fanbase is one of the few fanbase that has people writing essays about Saber being over-sexualized or some shit like that
This is literally any fanbase, given enough people/SJW
They wanted to flesh out Casters Master. I mean, then nigger dies off screen in the VN.
They also add in stuff that happens off screen, because in the VN you only see stuff from Shirous perspective.
Is anyone going to cry next episode? I know I'm gonna cry so I'm going to take the day off from work.
Can't you recognize a maid when you see one? Someone get this plebeian filth out of here.
The hypest shit. Gotta love Gil. Can't wait for the heart surgery.
wait what I didn't recall the indian guy in the VN
was he part of realta nu VN as an extra or something? because I didn't play that, I just went through the original VN.
ignore this if its already in the thread, I'm blind as a bat.
How was archer so easily able to get inside the castle? If it was because of Shirou and Rin then how would he know so quickly that it was safe to just go there.
What happened after Lancer met with Caster in that workshop? Did they fight and she escaped?
Also, would Caster have betrayed that first master if he wasn't a dick to her? She seems pretty honorable. I mean she let Rin and Shirou go on multiple occasions and didn't break her word. I guess that 1st master had it coming.
