is this going to be the best anime ever made ever??
The first episode was very confuse. There are only two ways:
1 - A incredible 12 episode´s puzzle that the MC must resolve in his particular Groundhog´s day = AOTY
2 - A "3´s episode dropped" piece of shit
Does japan actually like the high amount of blatant fanservice in modern day shows like this? They used to shame/boycott shit like this unless it was made intentionally as jack off material
>wasting the budget and production staff for a meme show
>someone wasted their time typing this bait that not even a day 1 newshit would believe
No, it won't touch Kill la Kill. That anime had poetic drama, and the script was magnificent. Punch Line shows signs of greatness, but doesn't have the power over words KLK had. I love the way the story is building, though.
Can you stop with the over the top comments about this, The show was good but nothing special.
KLK and Rolling comparisons are a joke.
I am not that guy. But really, what's he trying to do?
Yeah the show is cashing in on the ero. It's an integral part of the plot and it's trying to cash in on it from every achievable angle. But that's the story.
Like how the story in mecha revolves around mecha. Yes it's a toy commercial shilling plastic, but it's also the plot.
well gee i guess maybe what he's trying to say is it's shit. not that i even agree.
but try, i dunno, arguing against it, or saying something other than "that's just how it is mane" and dodging the question
>maybe what he's trying to say is it's shit
But that's not an argument. It's an opinion. It's the equivalent of just saying that mecha is bad.
I am not dodging a question. I am explaining what the show is, and if he doesn't like the show then I guess he doesn't like it.
I seriously can't tell if you're fucking retarded or just messing with me.
As if he didn't give any reason why he thought it was shit? Will you fucking think about shit before you type it.
I think there'll be other ghosts besides Yuta. Whoever it is, its fucking strong since it can possess a full grown man and a bus.
>Who were they?
My bet is still that it is Mikatan and Yuta himself.
They obviously have supernatural powers, and they probably got them when they were younger. So those kids are probably them from around the time that they got their powers, and they are probably reaching through space and time to save Yuta of their future.
It might have been a ghost. But it was probably just ESP powers of the guy who later wielded the handgun.
Strange Juice had glowing eyes too. As did the protagonist even before he had soul punched out of his body.
My theory is that Strange Juice is a robot and it was Pumpkin Chair's grandpa who created her.
Best part right here.
Also, was this originally going to be a game? I thought I saw that somewhere but now I can't find it.
>Yuta grows old trying to make a mecha/clone/whatever of her
Fuck, anything but that.
Except the protag has glowing eye powers too. So does the antagonist. Which means they are all likely espers. Maybe they are all machines.
I think the protag may be a robot based on her grandfather.
Idk, probably none.
Pumpkin chair may be adopted.
It's more than likely that the protag is a clone of the grandfather with esper powers. Narugino also has these esper powers and so does that blonde guy who may be inside the MC's body.
An evil organization conducted odd experiments on a bunch of kids. Including Mikatan, Yuta, the antagonist, and everyone else with glowing eyes.
The organization is related one way or another to the terrorist attacks.
>InB4 Blonde is BROTHER
The concept is one that requires masterful execution. The first episode sure wasn't that.
It'll have a couple good action scenes, and maybe a solid episode or two depending on its episode directors, but it's probably not going to amount to anything in particular at the end of the day, just like KLK and Space Dandy.
Ah, the days of yore when notamina near-exclusively churned out cheap, creatively bankrupt vaginacore.
In all threads about Punchline I saw prior the show airing, I never saw anyone mention a game.
It was all discussion about the his previous works. Before the brown girl got changed at the very least, after that it was noting but discussion about the Rabura in addition to his previous works.
But no one ever discussed a game.
That moment when you realise a mahou shoujou will never triangle choke you.
Why even be a villain anymore?
So do his powers actual cause the asteroid to hit earth? That seems a little unlikely.
It makes more sense that the terrorist organization we keep seeing somehow causes it and the MC is the only one who can stop it (his powers knocking him unconscious would therefore prevent that)
It's just a plot device to stop him abusing his powers to peep on girls.
I'm probably going to end up dropping this after ep3, doesn't look like it's going to do shit to make it worth the time. I'm hoping it surprises me though, because >>123902594 is perfection and I'd like to enjoy more of her.
So I bothered to watch the first 5 minutes of this "AOTS". No subtitles, nothing, just online.
We have this guy, whom ends up as every hostage on a terrorist bus attack.
Then there's this badass woman who makes its way to the bus and out of nowhere suddenly attacks those terrorists.
In the mean while, we have this HikiNEET who watches the entire event from NicoNico Douga without even turning the subtitles off to make it watchable.
Also we have a nigga woman who somehow predicts the outcome of the attack.
Then after that badass woman finished saving the hostages just by defeating the terrorists, a Char clone appears beneath this woman. He makes her hostage on her own, demanding information.
Suddenly, this faggot protagonist witnesses one pantie and gets a retarded power-up just to knock off the Char clone. Just because.
Then he is rescued by spirits. And that is all I have to say from my first 5 minutes of this show. Who knows what this will become?
*his own. Sorry for the typo, and forgot the pic just in case.
>Although selected by the Pulitzer Prize jury on fiction for the 1974 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, a single passage involving coprophilia offended the other members of the Pulitzer board, who rejected the selection
>super serious prestigious award
>no u dont get it cuz u trigger me
are you kidding me
On to the next minute:
The wind level suddenly increases and he bleed s when he sees a underwear. Unrealistic as hell, it would have worked more if he was being punched in the face, that is.
Should I keep watching this or drop immediately?
>are you kidding me
Why are you surprised? This is real life.
You can't go through a single thread of Punchline without running into people claiming that Punchline is shit for having ero. Without ever arguing for why the ero would actually be a bad thing, as if the ero being bad would be self explanatory as well as objective fact.
I came from the ancient time of ancient anime, I've seen everything, and you're all newfags for fapping so much over girls and good looks, forgiving that everything else is mediocre shit.
I wonder if we'll get a beach episode out of this, considering the MC's limitations
>people think this is just fan service
Its like you didn't watch the episode
>Is he just a perv?
Glad he's aware of himself.
There is more than panties going on
No one seriously believes it is this, right?
Ridiculous != lolsorandom
Maybe. I'm watching for Rie hacker loli though.
I also want to know why there is an asteroid heading to the earth the cat literally doesn't answer the question
That they don't remember eachother doesn't mean that they didn't use to know eachother.
That they have forgotten eachother could easily be a consequence of their powers, or the result of whatever organization that likely had them.
>Kill la Bill is better than Gurren Lagann
Pink is pretty cute.
Anyway, that's the punchline going to be? It's written by Uchikoshi afterall.
It's still meant to make most people go "wtf lol dude damn japanese manga". A hero that gains powers when seeing panties to the point of destroying the world, talking cat, mahou shoujo etc...
Currently, it's just this hyper vitamin ero show with nothing more to it, andit's not even funny, unless you're 12 and laugh everytime you see a panty.
I want to believe, but really, I'm not convinced, there's nothing good in this episode except for the visuals/animation.
well see on later episode
Zero escape spoiler
>yfw he was able to sent back to the past but entered the wrong body
Rate her underwear.
>mfw the last episode reveals this is all a set up for Zero's Escape 3
they could probably bullshit something up to do that.
Maybe the point he goes back to after the Earth explodes could be changed so he ends up at a beach, and he spends the entire episode trying to get out of it amongst all the scantily-clad women.
I want to pinch her cheeks.
That figure. But seriously though, will this show get porn?
I didn't find anything really enjoyable about this. Just felt like MAPPA was trying to butt in on Trigger's shtick for a bit of a cash-grab.
This kind of fanservice anime is the sort that makes you feel like you're subconsciously becoming a prude because of how shitty it is.
If he pulls some shit like that I'll fucking cum
It wants to be Kill La Kill so badly, but it doesn't have the wit or sense of humor that made that show fun to watch. I'm watching it, but I feel like a preemptive rubbernecker, because this thing is almost certain to be a trainwreck.
This show is already showing symptoms of having the same problems as Binan Koukou last season. There are some funny setups here, but the director doesn't know how to play them, so they just fall flat.
That's it man, that's it.
Bloody hell, this girl man.
