Yuru Yuri was cute but this looks more fashionable to me.
Well if you mean Senketsu, that's kinda cheating, as he is hands down the best school uniform ever
that's not senketsu, that's just the regular clothing
Plain old fashioned seifuku the best. Sukeban style with long-skirts is especially cool looking.
Uniforms are a terrible idea in both art and reality. They come from someone's wish to have the people they order about be visually obvious, while they constrain individuality and cause huge hassle for parents.
Oh anon, you're funny.
If I was joking I would have attached a smug looking anime character. Like so.
But that's a battle suit, not a school uniform, isn't it?
yep I love skirts with squared patterns like these.
Yuri Kuma probably had my favorite uniforms in recent memory.
how is Ryuuko's sukajan a school uniform you faggot, you see what all the other girls are wearing
t-thanks anoniichan, here is my favourite boy uniform.
My country public school have uniform where you buy in school-store and the white tops easily went see-through if expose to sweat or decent lighting. It's provide the class with good scenery of bras.
That being said the lower part have different rules, my old school have rules for skirt where the length have to be 10 cm under the knee.
Seeing Japanese uniform with their 10 cm above knee skirt actually makes me wonder, how the hell that nation have negative population growth.
did the girls is very conscious about birth control or the absence of religious doctrine gives the boys and girls more self-control in terms of using birth control?
All school uniforms are nice, there's no way I could possibly pick a favorite.
It's just overpopulation, my country is the same size and has less than half population, though the birth rate is stably increasing, mostly more than 3 children in families with good economical situations.
Probably people think twice before making babies, what kind of future do I want to give my children? The economic situations isn't the best either and this doesn't help in the leas.
Never watched Yuru Yuri but those ones are cute, OP.
I love these ones a lot. It's a shame the rest of the uniforms in the series are pretty generic
I've always liked the boys uniforms in twogk, it doesn't go over the top trying to be different, but it's still unique and memorable.
That said, there really aren't as many memorable (both nice or ugly ones) boys school uniforms are there? I guess there's just a lot less range with what you can do.
>It's just overpopulation
I don't know about this. Japanese culture is still really really strict and traditional in many regards, what we would call 50s morals are still very much the standard there. Women in general are married with children by the time they hit ~25 and there is still sexism about women in the workplace and/or government there, though it's not third world tier, of course.
All developed nations experience declining birth rates like this. When you live in a backwards country you need large families to help with work and making money, plus the population are less educated about sex, don't have proper access to birth control, and don't allow men and women to focus on careers instead of family etc.
Japan's birth and marriage rates are in-line with countries like Germany or the Netherlands or most of Scandinavia, people just act like they have a unique problem because white people like to think of Japan as a wacky fucked up foreign place where nothing makes sense.
In line with Italy and shit-villes in Eastern Europe, maybe, but most developed countries have near replacement birth rates and are maintaining population growth while Japan is not
The problem is in the past they had too many kids, these kids grew up and got jobs, Japan is a relatively small country and besides the industrial sector, probably there aren't many opportunites for new jobs. People live longer and work longer, taking the place that could go to young individuals who want to create their own families, this is also why the rate of unemployed people/NEETs increases. I'm not from Japan so I'm just speculating but, I think I'm not far from guessing the orogin of the problem.
Say what you want about the show but Love Live has great school uniforms.
That said dark uniforms are best. The Persona series has always had awesome uniform designs
The only European country with a constantly increasing birth rate is Ireland, because of their backwards abortion laws. Again, declining birth rates is part of being a developed nation and the Japanese are still having more kids than Germany.
France's birth rate is above 2 per woman. The UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium, among others, all high enough such that the effect of increasing life expectancy and net migration are still resulting in a population that grows every year. Even Germany, which actually does have a birth rate as low as Japan's, still has a growing population, while Japan's is shrinking
>but most developed countries
what countries? US is only maintaining it's growth rate because of the immigrants they let in, otherwise US would also have shrinking and aging population. And only EU countries that have growing populations, if memory serves, are Ireland (because of shit about abortion), UK (because of mudslimes) and France (which, alongside Ireland, has high white people growth rates).
Everywhere else in the developed world pops are declining. And other factors come into play as well - Poland lost like two million people in less than a year when they got accepted into the EU.
>Even Germany, which actually does have a birth rate as low as Japan's, still has a growing population, while Japan's is shrinking
What the fuck? Germany, with current population growth rates, is projected to lose 20 MILLION people by 2050. There are already plans to shrink cities and repurpose many of the current housing for parks and shit like that.
I know, I'm the anon who wrote about overpopulation, you thought my reply was sarcastic? kek it wasn't, I'm from an European country with high unemployment rate, there's kinda the same problem, of course it doesn't affect rich people but all the others in their 20s like me who remotely care about the future, wouldn't be so reckless to make children, 1/3 of the people who graduated with me is unemployed (including me) or have very shitty jobs with low pay (€900 is the average here).
Here's another, kinda cool uniforms imo.
These were an nice original style, love how the girls uniform reminds me of the Yurus too.
Definitely Yuru Yuri. There's something really erotic about that outfit.
There are two, Mai-hime and Mai-otome. Mai-otome is the one with semen-allergy.
Private school of battle-maids that later employed as bodyguards/assistant for important poeple. here, the maids is powered through nanomachines that somehow allergic to semen which makes the battle-maids can't have sex.
It's fairly high-tech anime where robots and power suits exist. The power-suit is powered through some crystal-like power source and some can be materialize at will.
Yet with all those technology, they haven't invented the more important technology known as Condom.
It's about a girl transfered tot he battle-maid-school got involved in nations politic and turns out to be the princess of the nation.
Usually Ribbons for the girls, Ties for the boys. but it's not that uncommon today where both gender got Ties so they'll be more "uniformed".
I went to a catholic school in the US and they didn't even make the girls wear ribbons. It was tan skirts for the girls and khakis for the boys with a sweater and boys had to wear a tie. When you got to senior year, you could wear white sweaters and girls could wear grey plaid skirts.
Dunno about the best, but Bleach has the worst.
HOLY SHIIIT. For once someone actually posted something correct on 4chan. Something about Japan no less.
That's the point exactly. There isn't a major population replacement source in japan compared to other countries where educated declining birth rate is offset by outside factors.
>tfw you will never get to wear cute uniforms to school
Saki has some good ones.
In particular Shindouji and Usuzan
I had the fortune of visiting a catholic school for a trivia competition. They wore the iconic red ribbon, white blouse, and red plaid skirt.
Oh, did I say fortune? I meant misfortune because ugly, fat American girls in a school uniform isn't pleasant. This stuff belongs in fiction.
And here's Usuzan.
I think they're the only catholic school I've seen in anime/manga.
So you see the problem? Something that people seem to ignore is the fact that Germany is tiny but still somehow has the largest immigration numbers in the whole world. Besides Freedomland obviously. Japan on the other hand let's practically no one in and that's why people talk about their declining birth rate even though Germany's are even lower.
You coward. You know you can't compete with this and that's why you didn't include manga in this.
Fuck you, Deen did Marimite.
I would kill for an anime where this was a normal school uniform...
And which wasn't strike bitches,
at least post Senketsu, OP
that said, Jacket is pretty boss too
When you get overloaded with panties, they lose their sexuality, and it becomes the purest form of Moe. Skirts are just a needless tease. Panties should be a bold expression of individuality and femininity.
I actually prefer the ones from Yahari the most
how comes most of shows only show girls in highschool and almost no males? am i actually watching shows made for little girls?
Seitokai no Ichizon, for no other reason than the miracle of the universe that is the boy's pants
Something about those uniforms look very damn sexy to me
still the new Mai-HiME project real or not?
